Was hesitant to do the tour with some reviews but actually really enjoyed it! Went with 5 little kids and it kept their interest. We started out watching live feed cameras of the factory while tour guide explained. Then we watched video clips of different candies being made with samples of each. It was pretty interesting! Fun walls for photo opportunities and sone discounted candy in the shop. No more than 40 mins. Would recommend!

Love the Fruit flavored Dark chocolate and milk chocolate sticks! Can either order them directly from the website or order them from Amazon. Try not to eat a whole box in one sitting!

I love coming here for my taffy! Unfortunately due to covid the little store is now closed. Even though their website said that they were opened. I was greeted by the friendliest employee who explained to me that for now the store is done. She gave me a flyer with locations for where I might find their taffy. I ended up ordering from their website!

It was interesting to learn how they make their candies and the candy store is a candy dream; however, they do not give tours in the factory due to the government.

Arrived at 12:45. Signed in and was directed to wait for a door someone would come out and get me. After watching two trucks arrive after me and go directly to a door, I went back inside and inquired as to how they arrived after me and were already getting loaded. Response was they were only getting a few pallets and mine was a full truckload. Supervisor informed me that their time was money. I guess mine isnt. Beware when you come here. Its SUPPOSED to be first come. First serve, but thats not the truth.

IT IS NOT OPEN AND MANAGEMENT DOESNT CARE ABOUT TELLING CUSTOMERS!!! Everytime I am in Salt Lake City I go here to take treats back to Charlotte, NC. I looked online, their website and called. All said they were open. Drove 20 minutes to get there and when we went in the lady at the front said they were not. When I mentioned that everything said they were open she said, the management is aware that it needs to be changed. That they are closed due to the safety of their employees. What about their customers???

Great ppl work up there. But it will take longer to load sometimes anywhere from 3-6hrs when you check in. The trailer needs tobe superclean and free of any holes.

My grandparents met at this place back in the 40s and my fiance and I shared this with them and would love to include them into our wedding

The taffy was delicious! I recommend the buttered popcorn. Other then that, the gummie bears were the freshest ever! I got the chocolate covered cinnamon ones. They were so fresh, it tasted like chocolate covered jelly. Mmmm they were the best! Ate them too fast before I remembered to take a picture =/ lol they have little bags you but the taffy in. Not really any help there but I didnt need anyway. They do ship but not directly from the store & that sucks really bad since the prices in the store & variety are way better then online. Thats the only complaint I have is cant ship from them directly if you buy in their store.

Horrible place to work. Maintenance dept are stuck on themselfs thinking theyre better then anyone else in reality they are below average. One lady in HR is awesome Teresa. She went above and beyond.

Placing the order was simple. Made selections, placed order, experience no problems. Order was delivered as promised. I eat very little candy, but I really enjoy these milk chocolate and dark chocolate jelly pieces. Shipping and packaging is great receive in excellent condition. Very fascinating tour and history of the company. The tour shows love video feeds from the factory floor which is really great, but it would be nice if there were a few windows where you could see the factory floor. Loved the samples and being able to buy the candy mistakes for a discounted price.

Fun out of way place to visit. Found the historical information in their museum interesting and staff helpful. In house candy store was a great place to get a sugar fix. Sour balls, cinnamon bears, licorice and more all made at this location.

Great prices in seconds/misshapen candies. Horrible prices on regular retail candy. Too bad.Would probably visit quite a bit more if prices were decent in retail candy as well.

I love just about everything they make here my wife has an aunt that works here and we are always getting sweet treats from them. I think my favorite thing is the Cherry sour balls. Of course I have to try many of the Taffy flavors. Highly recommended dose support your local businesses.

Great candy factory that produces local favorites such as chocolate covered cinnamon gummies and orange sticks. The factory has a retail store that usually has specials. Good local history.

You dont get to tour the actual factory anymore but they give a virtual tour and samples of candy made there. There is also a shop you can buy discounted candy at. Try the buttered popcorn or cookie dough taffy! Yummy!

So fun to see how all of the candy is made. Only way thing, you can no longer tour the actual factory like you could in the past. New federal regulations prohibit that. But the tour is still fun with the live feed videos and the history of the factory, samples and buying the fresh candy in their little shop.

They have great affordable candy. I love buying their factory rejects. Cheap and Tasty, cant go wrong with that!

They have changed the tour a bit. Less walking. They also have videos that get a closer look at the machines than before. And its hard to beat candy when it comes to samples! I enjoyed it!

Mostly a great store, but if you are traveling from out of state, dont go on Fridays. They arent open must of the day. Very sad costumer .

They really try to make an exceptional experience for their free-tours. The tour guide couldnt answer every one of my questions (no thanks to my being an engineer), but he did the best he could.What made this so great for me was the numerous samples, and the discounted merchandise in the factory store. Not everything is a deal, but some deals are really good.

I have been eating sweets candy since I was a small child. Christmas was such a special time knowing we were going to get orange sticks in our stockings. I am now 57 and purchase them for my own children every Christmas which they loved as I did. They are now adults and have children of their own and I would never dare not put boxes of these treasured treats in their stockings as well as my grandchildren. I have friends that grew up Salt Lake that call me in November to put their orange stick orders in. We love all theire Candy and warm memories. I am so dissapointed that the local stores in Utah do not fully support Sweets Candy Co The buy the minimal amount of Orange Sticks in milk chocolate and maybe you will fine a couple other flavors. It I want dark chocolate cherry, blueberry, orange or raspberry I have to canvas the valley. I now choose to support Sweets by trekking there from the South end of the valley for my loot. Best ever and eggnog taffy is the bomb too. Shame on Smiths, Harmon’s for not fully supporting them. ❤️❤️❤️

They dont take you to the factory floor, but you do get to have samples and watch videos of how they make their candy. Everything is fresh and delicious! Plus, the gift shop is a great place to find bargain buys.

Came to pick up a load. Everyone is very polite and efficient. Backed into the door, walked in, checked in, and then waited at my door to get loaded and count pallets. I waited less than one minute and the loading began. In and out in about an hour. What more can you ask for?

I came here for Taffy and was not disappointed. They have some great flavors, lot of choices and plenty in stock. Well priced and friendly and helpful staff.

The front staff was friendly and they have a decent selection in the store. I grabbed a $1 discount bag, but the accidentally charged me $2, which I didnt realize until I had already left. Not a big deal, but it is nice when things ring up right the first time.

Although I prefer the way they used to do the factory tour, by actually walking through the warehouse, the new way, with the live feed cameras in various parts of the factory, the knowledgeable guide, and the candy samples throughout still made a very enjoyable tour for me and my family.
