Great options for Christmas decorations and lighting. The lights we bought there are high quality and let us custom fit them to our roofline for a nice clean look. Yes, theyre a little on the pricier side for lighting, but it is well worth the result. The kids really enjoyed running around looking at all the lights and following the train on the ceiling.

Chris was very helpful in assisting me with my clients select a decorated Christmas tree for their St. George home Ive previously worked on as an interior designer as well as coming up with a tablescape to complement the tree.

I finally talked my husband into buying a Christmas tree from Modern Display. This was a very expensive tree ($1,000 +)! We have had it for 2 Christmases. Last year, half the lights were out and after a lot of phone calls and talking to several managers, they reluctantly had us send the tree back to them to fix the lights. We live in St George, so as you can imagine, was pricey to get it to them. They didn’t care and were not willing to work with us on cost of shipping. This year, half the lights are out again!!! They told us that their 1 year warranty expired and therefore they would help us. We are furious!! I would NEVER buy anything from them again. Their customer service is horrible and their prices outrageous. Not happy at all.

They have just about everything you could want, unless its sold out. We went for lights to go on our house. We only got 5 of the light bulbs that we really wanted because they we otherwise sold out. Well have to do with those for now. But, boy, what a selection of beautiful things!

This was a really nice place, lots of decorating ideas and the products to sell with those ideas. Great displays. Reasonable prices. Wonderful variety!!!

If I could post zero stars it would be too high!!! Tried to return tree bags which were not of workable quality but store manager refused to accept them. Still unopened in packaging. No attempt to accommodate us. Do not go to this store!

I looooooove this store! Its probably my favorite store of all time. They have a great variety of quality decor for every holiday, but Halloween and Christmas are the best! Sometimes I like going into the store just to walk around for fun, even if I dont even buy anything. I just get happy when Im inside.They also have good sales throughout the year, and also, you can get custom faux floral arrangements. I love their faux floral arrangements and floral inventory -- they really look like real flowers and greenery!I just cant say enough about this store. Sometimes I even take people there who are only visiting SLC because I want them to experience the wonder of Modern Display. :)

I love this place! The selection of high quality decorations is amazing, and the floral and expo teams are insanely talented. I take all my friends to Modern during Christmastime because it’s such a beautiful and cheery store!

I am very disappointed with my experience with modern display. I purchased a tree 3 years ago the 1st year it was up some lights were out so I took it there after Christmas to get repaired. Next year when I went to put it up it wasnt fixed and I had to deal with it through Christmas with only some of the lights working, So I took it back again. Here we are Christmas again and Less than half the lights on the tree are working. I went to modern display expecting a high quality tree and that is not what I got. I called them this season and they no longer fix trees.😡

Thank you modern display! I purchased a beautiful new Christmas tree last week. I like white lights and my wife likes color lights, so we bought one that can go either way. One problem was that my Wife doesn’t care for blue lights and there were just too many blue lights. The only solution was to get replacement lights and change out the blue ones. Way to much work. I had read some reviews of folks who said they had trouble with their returns here. I had absolutely no trouble with my returning the tree. They were very pleasant and courteous to me. Good store with very friendly helpful staff. Yes I recommend this store to my friends.

Today I was so impressed by Modern Display and the service they rendered. I’m a busy mom and had a baby in a backpack feeding a bottle and a 3 yr old by my side. Nervous at finding want I needed for our home for Christmas lights, I was about to tackle my list but felt very overwhelmed at the many choices. I had 3 men come up to me (That works in the light section) and offered to help me with what I needed. They saw my list and had it all in my basket in less than a minute. I am forever grateful for their knowledge and willingness to help. Little did they know I was stressing getting out of there on time and home to my kids who were coming home from school plus driving an hour. Thank you Modern Display!!

Love coming here for the ideas. We bought new string lights for our home this year. Lots of stuff to choose from. A bit on the pricey side, but they do have things you cant find anywhere else.

Has very great items for decorating the house

Dont shop at Modern Display. I work for a local business, and I used to purchase sign holders from them. Not any more. Modern Display has the worst customer service. They have lost my orders more times than I can count. And, to make it worse, when they lose your order, they send you to someone who cant help you. Ive been marched upstairs, downstairs, to the warehouse, back upstairs more times than I can count.I have no idea why they make it so hard for me to give them my business.I dont often leave online reviews, but their customer service is so bad, I feel like I just had to. Im all for supporting local business, but save yourself some heartache and just find what you need on the internet.

Modern Display helped me put the finishing touches on my event. I thought I had a vision for my event, but then after meeting with modern, they had a few small ideas that really helped me take it up a notch. They knew exactly what we should do to give my event the finishing touches and really bring it all together. They also came right at the end of my event and were able to take down very quickly and vacate from the venue on time. Beyond events, they have gorgeous florals and wreaths for home decorations. I have had them make several for my home and love how creative they are - its nice that what hangs on my front door is original and creative and doesnt match everyone else on the block. Such beautiful displays and decor!

The product availability is great and prices reasonable. We loved how they offer the ability to customize your own Christmas light strings. My 3 star rating is because no one offered to help us. We had to track down assistance and then they were sort of too busy to give us their full attention.

If you want to get into the holiday spirit, no matter what holiday it is, stop by here. We have been purchasing Department 56 Snow Village pieces from here for years, let alone the miscellaneous decorations my wife likes to buy.

It is important to note from the start that this is an expensive store. That said, if the price point is in your budget, you cant find a better place. In particular, I love coming here for both Halloween and Christmas decor. The store itself is expansive on multiple levels. You can easily spend an afternoon here. Around Christmas, make sure to stop in and get some Wassil powder. Definitely a holiday tradition.

Reviewing as retail resource. Great stuff, and higher quality than you can get elsewhere. Best selections at the beginning of each decoration season. Decent to excellent prices for quality.

We are in the process of decorating a new house. We were looking for just the right florals to finish the living room. After searching through every store in the county, I remembered Modern Display. Sure enough, they had exactly what we needed already made and waiting to be sold. Next time well try them first rather than last.

Management goes above and beyond to fix things

Never shopped there but I can tell they are good people. They help Dave the Flower Guy all the time. They come to his rescue when his lawn mower breaks down. Good bunch of people.

Need at least one visit per year to Modern Display to get into the Christmas spirit. They never disappoint in that regard.

Don’t waist your money on their overpriced decor! They are lacking serious customer service skills including the male manager at the sandy pop up store. After reading other reviews a lot of people are saying the exact same thing ie; over priced & rude employees. Read them for yourself! You should be aware of where your spending your hard earned money and what a rip off this place is!! Shame on them!!! Makes me want to open my own store and put them out of business!!😡

Shop here at own risk!!!! The guarantees that they offer are worthless. What a bunch of liars. Also they should really learn to put the phone on hold before making fun of their so called valued customers. The worst shopping experience I have ever had. I take every chance I have to tell everyone what a sham your business practices are! When I was told my $15 or so problem was not worth it for them to do anything about it, from one of the managers no less, I was in shock! Who treats their customers like that! Is it worth it now!?!

I order a Christmas tree from them got it last night and 3-4 arms on it won’t light up. Now I’m going to have to spend my day making the hour drive to and from Slc to get a new one.. just what I want to do on my day off! Shouldn’t they be checking the lights before shipping them off? Ugh my time is valuable and now I’m going to have to spend my time and gas money to fix there mistake...my first impression is not good.. hopefully they can make it up to me.. I’ll let you know!

I wish I could give this a 5 star rating cause Ive been to this store a few times and have never had a problem until today. I have bought lights and light clips from here and honestly wouldnt buy lights anywhere else after buying them from here, but the customer service I experienced today was frustrating. A floor worker named Shane asked if I needed help I said yes and i asked about the light clips they have this year compared to last year cause I noticed there was a difference from what I bought last year, so he says nope no difference. I say really? Cause they arent the same clip I bought last year and then I say do you know if they work the same as the ones sold last year? By this time he has attitude with me for no reason and hes dismissive. He continues to say they are the same as were walking over to look at them, I say theyre not and then he says well its the same box and maker. I could tell it was the same maker but not the same clip. Not having the same clip isnt the point though, its the attitude and dismissive tone and remarks and I dont care attitude towards me that makes me irritated. I treat everyone with respect until they give me a reason not to and no lie towards the end of our conversation I gave the same tone he was giving me. Im not going for anybodys job with this post Im just asking that he treat people ALL people with some courtesy.

These guysxdid just what we asked. They were pretty busy. Not the most efficient people I have ever dealt with, but definitely got the job done. I would use them again, as international freight expediters.

They do a great job of lighting things up! But they really arent that careful around your shrubbery. We had them come in and wrap the trees. A few of our trees have decorative boxwoods around them and they really trampled those boxwoods. Lots of broken branches. And if you know boxwoods, those branches do not grow back easy. So those will look ugly for a few years before they start recovering. Maybe specifically tell them not to trample your plants. Otherwise, they are fine.

If you repeatedly want your order repeadedly bungled shop here, otherwise give it a hard miss. I have had to deal with uncooperative staff and repeatedly having to deal with getting the parts from Salt Lake just to find out the warehouse has either not picked the parts or they picked the wrong parts. This has been a horrible and frustrating experience dealing with this company.

Ive never seen a place rotate product as quickly as Modern Display. Its a really neat place to shop, especially if youre a mother from Draper.
