Recently, she walked me through the process of designing and building a custom suit for my outdoor wedding in Park City. She nailed every part of it. Specifically, she offered me expert advice on the wide selection of fabrics (for different budgets) available at TC and helped me choose a gorgeous Italian fabric from the renowned Lanificio Guabello. Together, we discussed the draping, weight, pattern, hue, etc (considering the venue, place, season, potential weather of my wedding day) and I couldn’t be more happy with the end product. Caitlin knows her stuff! When I put on my suit, I felt instantly comfortable & confident. Being 65 and lanky, its always been a challenge to find well-fitting suit jackets or sport coats off the rack anywhere. After years of making do with whatever I was lucky enough to find, I decided to invest in some custom jackets. Caitlin at Tailor Cooperative was SUPER. In just an hour, she walked me through designing my first custom jacket and it came out great-- it even fit perfectly on the first pass. Admittedly, I was quite overwhelmed at the thought of spending more than I ever had on a suit and making the commitment solely off a small piece of sample fabric. But Caitlins process for helping me make the selection made it seem actually quite simple. She told me that its hard to go wrong when you get a custom suit literally built to fit your body. Although we hit a snag, quite literally, when I went in for final fitting and one of the pins used to do final fitting tore a hole in the pants, Stewart (who was helping at this time) had no hesitation in getting a replacement pair on order and expediting to ensure I had it ahead of my wedding day. I wanted a suit with wide lapels, and Tailor Cooperative was able to accommodate. The suit jacket was incorrect the first time, and an attentive employee (who is also the owner, named Adam) understood my dismay and ordered another jacket to be made. I ended up getting exactly what I wanted. The staff is very meticulous and hospitable, and the choices in customizing a suit are impressive. This is a review that is based on what happened when things went wrong. There were some mistakes made at the beginning of the process, and it caused some delays. When I brought the mistakes to the owners, they took the situation seriously and really bent over backwards to make it right. I went from being extremely disappointed to extremely satisfied. I had never had a custom tailored suit before visiting Tailor Cooperative. It was an awesome, albeit somewhat overwhelming experience. Who knew what “kissing buttons” were and whether to choose them or one of the other dozens of button options. Then there was color, fabric, pocket style and so many other choices to make the suit uniquely my own. My personal clothier made the whole experience fun, easy, and in the end I got a suit that felt like a part of me, not just another suit. Thanks Tailor Cooperative. You guys rock. And I look good!

I got a navy double breasted suit from Tailor Cooperative for a wedding and overall I was mostly happy. However, there were a few issues.First, I was told I would receive the suit in early to mid march, and did not receive it until April 1st. They were super nice enough to get me in for a fitting and finish an alteration on that night, so I could wear the suit to a funeral the next day. I have to give them props for that, but I was expecting to have the suit a little sooner, and wished they would have communicated better on when it would be done.In the first fitting they did not even have a double breasted jacket for me to try on, which I think if you offer that product, you should at least be able to show at least a picture of something that you have made before to the customer. They also would not add the top two buttons on the double breasted jacket and I had to have my own tailor find similar buttons and add it herself. This was not deal breaker, but a simple detail like that on a custom suit is something I feel should be included. Also, the different colored button and buttonhole on the sleeve and lapel we discussed and chose during the first fitting, was not implemented in the suit. This was a bummer, and I wondered why we spent so much time discussing this if it wasn’t even done. I asked about why it wasnt done, and never heard an answer as to why it wasnt included.I also specifically mentioned my preference to not have the jacket cut too short, and felt at the second fitting it was a tad on the short side. I asked for it to be lengthened, and they said they didn’t leave enough fabric to do that. All these things I had asked for frustrated me that my preferences were not listened to.The suit still looks pretty nice, but the lack of detail on a custom suit bothered me. The staff were extremely kind, and seemed very knowledgeable. However the issues I previously mentioned made me a little frustrated. I wanted to get a second blazer made by Tailor Cooperative, but I think with the issues with communication and lack of detail I will probably go elsewhere.

I had taken a suit i had gotten from a different custom suit tailor to get their opinions and they helped me out, even if I didnt buy anything from them. If something happens down the line they, which it did for me, they allowed me to get a new jacket since the fabric was not up to their standards. Tailor Cooperative was a awesome find. I am a big guy at 6’ 5” and close to 300 Lbs but not obese. Everything in my Wardrobe never fit right. Off-the-shelf just did not work. Stuart took the extra time to show me what a difference custom-made shirts, jackets and jeans could you do for me. I’m slowly replacing my entire wardrobe from Tailor Cooperative. Never received so many compliments, everyone seems to think I’ve lost weight but it’s just because my clothes fit me so much better. Horrible experience and would not recommend. I had to keep following up and it took almost a year, a full remake, they forgot the order again, then it didnt fit well at the end either. I was in the market for a new suit and after some online research decided to give Tailor Cooperative a try. Upon arriving at my initial fitting appointment, they kindly greeted me at the entrance of their brick-and-mortar shop and offered me a drink to unwind. Carlos, my personal clothier, took the time to meet me personally and explained the fitting process. After that, we began sorting through the different fabrics and he provided me some personal recommendations for what to look for in a core suit. All said, the fabric decisions, suit preferences, and measurement process took about an hour, which to me indicates their commitment to providing the best suit for my style and body type.After about 5 weeks, my suit was ready for a final fitting. It looked incredible and fit perfectly in all spots except for a small wave between my shoulder blades. The fitting assistant, Adam, provided insight into the need for an additional alteration and worked with the tailor to get the final adjustments completed within a week. Again, I felt their commitment to altering the suit to my expectations and in a very timely manner.My experience at Tailor Cooperative went well above my expectations as the employees there seem genuinely interested in style and provide their customers a courteous, but realistic outlook. I can’t recommend this shop enough if suit shopping for a specific event or just a core suit for my collection (like my situation). My only caution would be to expect to pay more than a department store but know that your money will be well spent and you’ll look and feel great about choosing Tailor Cooperative.

The pant taper is off, or the suit coat length is odd, there is always something not made for YOU.My suit is a thing of beauty. It fits perfectly, and they were sure to take my personal tastes into account. The seemingly small options they provide for personalizing your suit are what make it feel unique. From the color of your buttons, to the width of your lapel, or how many pockets you want, and not to mention the inner lining, they will help you find something truly bespoke.Are there other options? These guys were AMAZING! I had a crazy request (a fitted tailcoat) and they went for it and it turned out absolutely beautiful! They also worked with me to ship my custom shoes to my destination wedding since I suck at planning and didnt order them in time to pick up before I left. All the details they were able to put in the tux (my wedding date embroidered on the cuffs, my wifes name on my shoes, and of course the TAILS) made the first look a step above- I cant say enough good things about Adam and the team!

Dress clothing and formal attire have always been uncomfortable and binding for me so the prospect of being an attorney and living in a suit for the rest of my life filled me with dread. I decided to get a custom suit because, while not being the most fashion forward person, I do have particular likes and dislikes and I felt like I deserved to give myself something that looks and feels good. I met with the men at the Tailor Cooperative and it became very evident from the get-go that this was the perfect place for me.Surprisingly, the process was not overwhelming and I had a lot of fun selecting cloth, buttons, lining, and style. I am a woman that identifies as a woman, but Ive never actually liked the fit and look of womens professional clothing so I opted for a masculine 3-piece suit. It went off to be made and then I came for a second fitting where we made some minor adjustments on the pant and vest length. I could not believe how comfortable the suit was and it wasnt binding and uncomfortable and I actually LOVED wearing it. I was also astonished to realize how poorly a lot of my other clothes fit/felt and wish I could just live in custom tailored clothing! If youre buying formal wear and want to look AND feel good, you really do need a custom suit!Derek was great working with my schedule to find time that I could go in for fittings. I worked primarily with George for my suit and he was amazing dialing in my personal style and balancing it with the traditional formal wear I would need for school, court rooms, and job interviews. I also had equally valuable input from Ralph that made me feel like every decision I made was spot on. I am so excited for my blossoming professional wardrobe and plan on going back to the Tailor Cooperative again to get a few more things made before school starts this fall!

I went into the physical location last November while I was considering moving to SLC. The atmosphere is amazing. Great customer service as soon as I walked in. I saw on their Instagram that they had masks for sale, I work at a customer facing job so I decided to get one of their masks from their online store. Best purchase in the pandemic so far! It is my daily companion on my commute. When I posted a question about the washing instructions on their Instagram I received a text from the company with instructions. On top of all that, they have a huge range of materials and their product is top notch! If you want quality tailored clothes from a company with a focus on customer service, you should stop by the Tailor Cooperative.

If youre looking for custom denim, look no further.Finding raw denim in Salt Lake is a bit of an ordeal. Finding bespoke raw denim? Impossible!--until Tailor Cooperative. I just picked up my pair of straight-leg 21 oz. jeans, and I couldnt be more pleased with them. The fit is exquisite, the denim a pleasure to wear. My hands are already blue from the indigo rub-off, because I cant stop running my palms across the fabric. Breaking them in will take a while, and Im looking forward to the entire process.Stewart went over every detail with me: rivets, buttons, stitching, fit, fabric, and embellishments like monograms, pocket patterns, and more. My jeans are thoroughly mine in every respect, and I reveled in every step of designing and fitting them with Stewart and the others there at TC. Highly recommended.

Treh, with the Tailor Cooperative, was very professional and accommodating in helping my fiancé and I customize my suit for our wedding. The whole experience with Tailor Cooperative was great start to finish. I doubt I will ever go anywhere else for a suit, shirts, or jacket again. Their attention to detail and the offering of fabrics, styles, fit and finish were second to none in my experience. From measuring to fabric and component selection to the first and second fittings, I never felt rushed and they demonstrated that they understood what I wanted and made intelligent suggestions for accomplishing that great look. For a bespoke suit it was on par with what your would be into a top of a line off the rack suit would be. Definitely will be back for the next suit and for some shirts.

10/10 you need to get your suit here! I found that most places will get you a quality suit without variety of fits or styles at a price that will break the bank. Or you can find a nice variety at a cheaper price but the quality is very poor. Not at tailor cooperative the quality is amazing the variety of fits and styles are limitless and they can work with your budget! The staff were honest and helpful and so kind! I enjoyed every second I spent with this company

Stewart made the experience very enjoyable. The quality of workmanship is top notch. I am normally a Levis and t-shirt guy but after my time at Taylor Coop I think I may be wearing more suits in the future.

When I thought about designing a suit, I thought of the John Wick Style process and it was above and beyond everything I expected. Walking in I didnt know what to expect. I worked with George. George greeted and treated me not only as a person who was interested in designing my suit, but as me as a person. We went through the whole process building the suit from the ground up. Discussing how wool is chosen to choosing the fabric and the designs. He was also able to answer all the questions that we had and knew it in depth. I was even given a drink prepared in advance before I got there. While we were designing the suit, George gave me advice, and gave me superb choices on what would look best. Being prior military, they gave me a superb deal. George deserves the credit and more and want to work with only him from now on and for years to come. You have earned a customer for life. If you want a professional suit go no further go to Tailor Cooperative.

Not having any experience in getting a custom suit, I was a little concerned about the process initially. I wanted a quality suit that fit and looked great, but I was worried that my lack of experience would lead to problems in the decision making process and potential errors in fashion decisions. What I found at the Tailor Cooperative was a open and supportive atmosphere, where Adam took very good care of me as he guided me through the process. The feeling of confidence that wearing my new suit gives me, was exactly what I was looking for.

I had an awesome experience! Treh was very helpful! I live out of town and after my first fitting they found out the material I originally wanted was no longer available. They went through similar materials and emailed me pictures. The suit turned out amazing! I would recommend them to anyone who wants a perfectly fitting suit!

My experience with them took longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth the time and effort.I ordered several items at once, and I had very specific expectations for how I wanted the items to look and fit.
