Please avoid this company. We had them come to repair one of our shop bay doors ( merely a cable and pulley/sheave replacement). I have attached a pic of the pulley/sheave (Part cost $99.00) they replaced. It took them over a month and 4 technician visits to fix it. CHARGED US $2300.00 One of the techs spent 85% of the hours (3 days worth) he spent here with someone else trying talk him through the repair. They finally sent a guy who got it done in 3 hrs. I gave them 2 opportunities to correct this with us and they only adjusted the bill down $247.00.. $99.00 of which was for a part (Pulley/Sheave) that WE NEVER RECEIVED for the other door. The balance of the $247.00 was for one of the service call fees... HIGHWAY ROBBERY BEWARE

First off I would like to say what an amazing team Vortex has! Thank you!!I manage 12 properties from Payson to Salt Lake. Each of my site have at least one mechanical gate. Every time I have requested a repair to a gate or i am in a pinch, Vortex and their team have always assisted me with my needs! They listen to my concerns, answer all my questions and follow up with me after each repair! I highly recommend Vortex to anyone wanting great service and repairs done right the first time!

We called Vortex to come out and repair a damaged door that would not shut. We were very concerned about the security of the warehouse and needed a quick fix. They came out and made a difficult repair in a short time frame, and then came back to install replacement panels. Very professional people from customer service to installers. Would recommend them to anyone.

We just recently had Vortex doors out to our company to do some repair work on one of our overhead bay doors. The technicians that done the repair work (Kyle and Carl) were EXTREMELY professional and courteous and fun to just B.S. with. They explained everything that they were going to be repairing and why it needed repairing and the functions of the parts they were repairing so we knew what to look for in the future before it became another BIG job. I would ABSOLUTELY 100% recommend them for ANY garage door repair. Whether for your business or your home. Thank you guys again!!!!!

Sheldon was very professional and not at all pushy in trying to get me to immediately adopt a long-term solution for my front office door. He showed me how to make a small adjustment to the door on my own, which allows me time to get funding to have the door fixed permanently. He didnt charge me for the visit, and he also advised me to check with the property owner to see if the property management agreement would cover part of the cost of the permanent fix. When it comes time to get the door fixed for good, I will definitely call Vortex! Highly recommended!

Dishonest company. Had them come out prior to service a bay door that had the cable come off the track. First time they came out the tech was very professional and fast. Second time they came out couldnt have been further from the first. Tech was very rude and unprofessional. Got aggressive and confrontational with one of the owners after they had been on location for more than 6 hours (first tech was on location for less than 2 hours). Tech did work that was not approved because he couldnt figure out how to do the job as one man so he proceeded to cut and replace things that didnt need to be replaced. After talking with Vortex about the issue and the insane bill, they said that they had already given us a price break, which again, was dishonest because the bill was more than double the first service call. Very unprofessional tech and management. They should send out more qualified techs, like the first, instead of hitting people over $750 the realign a cable. Definitely shouldnt allow techs to yell at business owners, especially when it is because the tech was extremely slow and was still working hours after close of business, even though they showed up in the late morning to get started. If you get work done by them, make sure that they tell you ahead of time what repairs are going to be done because if not they will do things that are not needed.

I absolutely LOVE Vortex Doors! Their technicians are so professional, pleasant, and informative. Very reasonably priced with a quick response time. They have saved my property more than once and are one of my favorite, if not the favorite, vendor to work with. Thank you for all you do guys!

As a project manager of several secure commercial buildings, I’ve required same day service for overhead door repairs on several occasions and Vortex has been the best fit for nearly 20 years. I have always been extremely satisfied with both the technicians work and the office scheduling service and accounting personnel. Even if the part(s) need(s) to be ordered and full repair at a later date, the technician secures the site and will make it manually operational if possible. I have been in the Property Management business for 35 years and I have never seen such an outrageous bill. I have never written a negative review on any company before this but felt I must warn others about my experience. I hired them to repair a door at a commercial building that was not locking electronically at night. I received a bill for over $3,800.00. I was shocked. I complained about the bill and they credited me a whopping $244.00 plus did not charge me for their first visit to the property where they did not fix anything (such a deal). In reviewing the bill, they charge $125.00 per hour. I was charged over $1,472.00 in labor to change out a couple modules and a power supply to the door. The parts were $1,906.00 of which they would not tell me their cost because I am sure they were embarrassed to tell me how much they are marked up. No bid was given to me ahead of time or I would have never allowed them to do the work. I will never use this company again.

Worked with Ryan and they were able to save me up to thousands of dollars by fixing our store front door rather than replace something that did not need to be replaced. Great service highly recommend.

This place has the worst business ethics I’ve ever seen I called him to come in and look at a rollup door they come in they took the key out of the door which disabled it. Tightened spring on the door.They was there about 4 1/2 hours they charge me $1000 and some change they didn’t fix either door and did not fix either door.I have never wrote a bad review on anyone but this company is ridiculous.

Expected top of the line service and ended up with no results. Had a break in need glass, it took these guys a month to get the glass in and then showed up with the wrong size. Told me it would take another week to a week and a half to get a new one in. My land lord thought I was trying to get away with using wood it took so long, nieghbor businesses complaining. I went to a local mom and pops glass shop and will have it in 3 days installed. The plus side is vortex was available on a Sunday to board up my window but was charged after hours cost. They didnt discount my invoice for their incompetence...they didnt have anything to offer me to make it right whatsoever. Lesson is dont be fooled by big company image.

Installers did an excellent job, courteous and thorough.

I am a contractor, trying to get a price for replacement of a store front double door and a hollow metal door. Left 3 messages with the receptionist before a sales man finally gave me a call. Gave him an address and a follow up call twice about getting me pricing, was told he would get me pricing. 3 weeks goes by and not another word from him. All construction fields are busy but give it to me straight dont make me call 5+ times only to be told one thing and then ignored.

Vortex Doors services many of our Theatre doors including our automatic entrance doors. They really came through for us when our entry door wouldnt open for the day. Fast Service!!
