My garage door spring broke at night and couldn’t open the garage in the morning. I called Precision the next morning and they had a tech at my house within an hour. Jake was great at explaining what needed to be done to fix it and made sure the entire door was is tip top shape. Great experience.

I called at 8:30 am. And by 12:40 pm Jeff Zinz was at my home. He was very efficient, and knowledgeable about what he was doing. He would answer all my questions. And within an hour my garage door was back in working order. With some recommended repairs too. Thanks for coming so quickly.

Have had a great experience from start to finish. Scheduling online, and them sending a technician out within 24 hours. This was for our business warehouse, so timing was crucial. Dylan Leonard was very professional and efficient and had us up and running very quickly. He even helped me reconnect the garage door to the digital app, which hadnt been working for a couple months, and wasnt the reason for my service call. Precision inspected my old garage opener and showed me the shavings in the box as well as the very loose chain and scrapes on frame and grease on door. They tightened chain and said that I should change out the old system. I was concerned that the old chain might break and door fall on my car. Tech said the door wouldnt fall on my car, but system was very old, and needed to be replaced. June 2, 2021, I had Precision install a Synergy 370 opener which included 2 remotes & deluxe wall console, with 850 newtons with LED lighting, a 7 belt rail, and keyless entry system. Also had rollers on rail replaced. ($769.85) Supposedly they did a 25 point inspection of door and opener. November 2, 2021, I had to call Precision again because the new system failed. The door went up and I started backing out of my garage only to have the door come down on my car. ($249.80) Vincent (Tech) came out in a timely manner and said the problem was that the motor was laboring because of scraping along door frame. I told him that the grease on the door and scraping was from the old system. He said swelling had caused the scraping problem. I again told him that came from the old system. He said the track was too close to the frame from the swelling and needed to be moved out a little and some of the rollers replaced. Vincent is very good at his job and works in a timely manner. I showed him the damage to my car, and he indicated that he thought the antenna which was damaged just needed to be pressed down and the scratches could be buffed out. I took my car to Ken Garff and was told that I would have to take the car to a body shop because the scratches had gone through the clear coat, and the antenna had damaged the roof and all this would have to be replaced (one bid for work $1600). When I talked to the manager, Steve (I believe was his name) he informed me that Precision had no responsibility to help in the repairs even though there was a limited warranty on motor, gear assembly and rail system. Eight years limited on electronics, one year limited on accessories-including wall station, remotes, safety eyes and keypad. He also indicated that had the system been installed in the winter they would have noticed the close proximity of the track to the frame, but it was installed in the summer. Really? Again, Vincent was very professional, but the company he works for has alot to desire and I will never use them again, as well as never referring anyone to them. They take no responsibility for their work (initial June 2nd- Tech should have noticed close proximity of track to frame if he did 25 point inspection of door and opener). Very upset about having to pay over $1600 for car damages and their $1,019.65 charges for a new door opener system. I will be reporting this to BBB and would be interested in how the BBB process rates them with A rating. I certainly disagree with the rating and notice that others have had the same complaint. Dont use this company.

Spencer was punctual and very respectful. He explained what he would do and gave a time frame to complete the installation. Leaving him to his work, he finished around the time predicted. He replaced the door with all components and trimmed pieces, apart from the opener, all in the time frame. We went over everything after while Spencer explained the benefits of some of the products we received. He made a mistake when cutting the trim piece and admitted to his mistake, assuring me that he would come out and fix it next week. We are delighted with his work and know we will get much more extended use out of our new door.

Scam artist. Just wanted a new remote programmed for my garage door. After spending 80 dollars for them to just come out they told me I needed a part for it to work and would be better if I just bought a whole new motor and would run me 700 dollars plus. Told him I would think about it. Specialized garage doors called as they left and their service call was only 40 dollars. And programmed a remote control and gave me a spare for a total of 100 dollars. On the circuit board a button was just pushed in that he popped out. Stay away from precision.

I called Precision Garage Door repair late on a Saturday afternoon when my garage door wouldn’t open.Jon came out early Sunday morning to get us working again. He checked our system and gave me all the options. He had all the materials on his truck to make the repair and was fast and super courteous. He completed our repair and made sure everything worked as it should. He kept me informed and answered all my questions. The cost of the repair was reasonable and my garage door works great!I’m very pleased with Precision Garage Door Repair and highly recommend them to anyone needing a repair or new garage door installed.

Great service. But....The initial service and installation is always great. But replacing parts later is IMPOSSIBLE and expensive! Precision door hides the brand of garage doors they use so it makes it VERY difficult to order parts on your own. If you want a new remote, you cant use a universal remote that you buy at any home improvement store. They dont work! You need to call them, a technician comes out and programs it! I needed a new keypad. It cost me $160. I ultimately found the same keypad on eBay for $25 with a 5 step programming guide.I recently replace the LEDs in the unit. First question though, why on earth would the unit use a non-standard LED lighting strip?!?! Instead of a $2 bulb they decided to put in an LED strip. Fortunately, I found them on eBay for $30, but i assume i would have paid another $150+ to have the LED strips replaced by Precision. Seriously?!?!

We just had our garage door replaced by Precision Garage Door. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and professional. We got the exact door we wanted. The door arrived and was installed weeks before their estimate, which was terrific for us. I would highly recommend them.

Overpriced ServiceThe technician that came was great and very knowledgeable. He did a great job.However, in my opinion the parts were extremely overpriced. They don’t tell you the price of parts until they have your door disassembled and at that point there is no option for you as a customer to say anything because the price cannot be changed. It is fixed in the system.Also when I called to schedule the appointment they said that the $80 service fee would be applied to the total cost of the job but that was not the case. It was added separately to the total cost.All these pricing tricks are not very honest but I guess they are part of their business model.

Jon from Precision Door performed prompt and superb work in fixing my garage door that I backed into with the car after the pull cord got attached in the door, causing the door to fall as I backed out. Worried and anxious, I felt comforted when Jon calmly assessed the situation and went right to work fixing the door. Competent, professional, punctual, competitively priced, and easy to work with. I’ve had occasion to use them on two different garage doors over the last couple of years and they’ve always been great to work with.

The tech called me at 3:15 and asked me when I would be home. I told him I expected him at 4, as quoted, and I would be home then. He informed me I was his last job of the day and I needed to be home before 4. The techs showed up shortly after I got home. They looked at the garage for about fifteen minutes and then informed me it would be $670-$1,100 for the repairs. I had done some prior research and knew the price was too high. I told them that and they said that it wasn’t. I told them I would shop around, paid them their service fee and they left. I called around and found a company who came in less than an hour and did the work for $350. Shame on you, Precision, for trying to take advantage of people.

They fixed a broken spring but the door was not level, leaving a gap under the door for snow to blow in the garage and then tree blossoms. Didnt have the problem before. Great experience with installation. Came home tonight and door wasnt working. Solid red on the opener and flashing blue on the wall mounted control. Called and was told they dont help with any remote problems over the phone. Strikes me as poor customer service. We paid many thousands of dollars for the installation. I expected better.

What an experience! Not that anyone cares, but we had a shuttle van crash through our old garage doors at the height of the snowy winter. After much work, we have had installed new garage doors, Tony just left and he did an adjustment on the rubber seal, and it was an extra above and beyond with the service to get things all in place. Precision team was able to leverage their relationship with the garage door manufacture of the doors we picked and get them to Park City and installed and in perfect shape. Appreciate Tonys attention to detail as the project comes to a close! Cory Glover and Dave Gruenawald also helped get all of this handled and their efforts are appreciated as well

Jake was very helpful when he came out to look at my garage door. He was very helpful and honest about the situation. He gave me options of repairing or buying a new door. I ordered a new door and Spencer installed. Spencer did a quick, neat job and was very professional. The price was fair for the work and door. Thank you. I did have to wait several months for the new door but that was due to the manufacturer, not Precision Door. Precision Door gave me prompt information about the manufacturing delay and then called me as soon as it was shipped to them as they stated in the email about the manufacturing delay. 2008 was the first time I used their services to install a new overhead door. Back then they did a top notch job. 2021 I had a broken spring and had them come back again. They took care of what was needed and clearly explained other recommendations, which seemed like a good idea at the time.Im happy with the job they did back in 2008 and again in 2021. I would recommend PGD to anyone who had a need of servicing or installation of new equipment. Bottom line - they know their stuff and stand by their work.

These guys are jacking up the prices on their parts 1000%Watch out people they dont tell you accurate prices on thephone they wanted to charge us a grand on the spot for unnecessary parts and if they do come out they charge you an$80 fee.

Update:Our door started to squeak so we called to see what the problem was. Chandler came right out and fixed it in under 10 minutes. Im very impressed with the service people weve had contact with. They have all been respectful, knowledgeable, and quick.------We lived with a broken garage door for years before we realized it was broken. As time went on the bars bent more making it harder for the motor to pull the door up. This all lead to a very loud garage door. We had several people give us a bid for the door and decided to go with Precision for their price and warranty. Everyone has been great to work with, especially through Covid, while waiting for the door to come in. The only thing I would have liked was for the company to give us updates rather than us calling them. We were hopeful for a December install but things were so backed up from Covid our install ended up being in February. Blaine, our installation tech, was awesome! He Is super friendly, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make sure the door looks amazing. The best part is how quiet it is!

I was out of town and my mother was at home, for some reason our garage door kept opening up on its own. Jeff came out to see what was going on with the garage door. He felt that it may be the fact that somebody had installed or was using the same code as our garage was on. Jeff reprogrammed the garage door opener that my mom had as well as the motor and keypad, however I had the other one with me.When we purchased the system from Precision the original Technician programmed both buttons to the opener’s to open the door. So when I came home I used my garage door opener not realizing that both buttons were the same.Jake explained that I somehow reprogrammed the motor with my garage door opener so we went back to the same frequency that we were on before. So that meant that we were back to the garage door opening on its own. As you could imagine I was pretty upset that the work that was done and paid for was not working for us. I called them and told them that the work they did was not working. The girl Kristin who answered the phone tried every manager and couldn’t get a hold of one at that moment. Jake called me back within 15 to 20 minutes setting up a time to come and check out what was going on with the garage door again. So he reprogram both of the openers did the keypad as well as sprayed the rollers on the garage door. He showed up with a mask on and was very professional and helpful making sure I understood what happened. I appreciate the service and professionalism.Thank you to both of you for the service!

We had Precision replace the spring in one of our garages about a month ago. Im sorry to say I dont know the technicians name, but he was outstanding. He was competent, efficient, and offered me a range of solutions without making me feel like it was a slimy sales pitch.

The sensors of our garage doors stopped working for us and we had to manually close it from the inside every time. So I called Precision Garage Doors and they offered a appt window to come the very next morning. The next morning, the technician called and texted me to let me know he was on his way. Dylan was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. He fixed our problem within 30 minutes. Our garage doors are now working properly again - Yay!

Precision Garage Doors is LEGIT!! Jake Wardrop was an amazing technician, fast, reliable, friendly and most importantly honest and fair. He didnt over charge us, didnt try to sell us parts/equipment we didnt need, and was truthful about the whole thing. We HIGHLY recommend this company and Jake for any and all garage repairs/installations.

Charged $760.00 to replace the opener which took about an hour. Amazon has an equal opener for $250.00. The thin aluminum sheeting had a cut top center(see photo) it’s been like that for 24 years and is not structural at all but the guy said the whole door needed to be repllaced I said no. He filled up my garbage can with his stuff now I can’t even take my own garage out. I will never use these guys again.

Our technician was Spencer he was on time and communicated very well with us about what the problem was and even helped us figure out why it happened.
