Mr. patten was very knowledgeable and had a pretty decent assortment of rifles and pistols. I went in looking for an entry level hunting rifle and he was able to hook me up with a great price. Will definitely be back to get some knives and advice.

A small hidden gem amongst a sea of rocks! The place may be small, but the prices are worth the visit. Inventory is not like the chain or larger gun stores, but has a selection of value and quality. Suggest you call ahead and ask before visiting to ensure your inquiry is in stock or may become available.

Mr. Patten is awesome! Super knowledgeable about all things guns but still easy and fun to talk to. I have had two great experiences at Patten Guns and I’m sure many more to come in the future. I’ve been to tons of different gun stores and have found many rude sales people who have either ignored me or tried to tell me what I want or should buy. None of that to be found at Patten Guns. I especially like the atmosphere of the shop because it is in Mr. Patten’s home and doesn’t feel like a normal gun store experience. I genuinely feel that he wants to provide great service and answer all of the many questions I ask. Perfect gun store for anyone buying their first gun, to the lifelong shooter. Cannot speak highly enough of this business.

This is my favorite firearm shop in the region. Paul Patten is an extremely knowledgeable, experienced and friendly owner. He has an encyclopedic knowledge about all firearms from ancient muskets to the newest releases. He has the passion of a true collector. I have bought or transferred several items over the years with Paul and his prices are competitive and reasonable. Service is always top notch. He frequently has hard to find magazines or accessories. He built me a fantastic rifle from a parts kit. From the youngest novice to the oldest, experienced collector, I strongly recommend you give Patten Guns a try. He is trustworthy, honest and always forthright.

Great guy, runs a nice shop out the back of his house, reasonable pricing for the times, bought a hellcat from him, will go back. Only 4 stars because he stocks no ammo. 5 star service though. Should at least stock some boxes to sell with firearms. Recommend!

Actually, Im Fred. Its certainly worth a couple minutes of my time to say that I picked up my Browning Safari Grade rifle I purchased from Paul last week. I live in Louisville, KY One can only cross their fingers, and hope when buying on line. I happened to have a few extra minutes while waiting for a (work related) ride. Using my phone I noticed a rifle Paul had, phoned him, closed a deal. A phone isnt the best way to see a rifle. Ill just summarize by saying Im well pleased with Paul, the rifle, the sale, and delivery...

Ive used Patton guns before for a seized up rifle and they did a great job repairing it. Took a shotgun in today that kept jamming etc.. They took a peak at it and told me whats wrong and sent me on my way in about 15 min with easy fix that I could do myself. I will recommend this shop for any gunsmithing needs.

I dont think there is a place with better service. For being such a small store, they sure do have a wide selection. My only regret is that i didnt have more money. I will for sure be returning for all my reloading needs.

I used Patten Guns for a FFL tranfer and was pleased with the transaction. Also bought a Kel Tec KSG shotgun via layaway while I was there. Firendly and a nice stock of the kind of guns I really like, handguns, rifles, semi-auto rifles and shotguns. Some used inventory as well. Lots of magazines and good prices on ammo.
