They are pricy comparing to other repair companies, poor customer service, poor technician, lack of management support, they dont honor their warranties. I regret it every time I deal with them. NEVER AGAIN

I bought a used (commercial) Imperial range which weighs close to 1,200pds. I contacted Imperial and they referred me to this company. Because I want to use the range in our home, Imperial told me I need to bring the range to Commercial Kitchen Parts and Service. It is not easy to move a 1,200 pds range. Upon arrival, Commercial Kitchen Parts refused to inspect the unit because it is going to be used in a residence, which is not illegal nor prohibited by the manufacturer. The store quoted lawsuits, liabilities and court hearings as the reason as to why they refuse to even look at it. I did not ask them to install it. Just to verify that every works. The range may or may not have a gas leak, but they dont care about my or my familys safety. They only care about themselves. This company puts their needs FIRST. And then they may consider the customer. If you ever have an issue with this company, you can rest assured that they will do what is best for THEM.

Worst company ever, super shady. They charged us $200 to come out, tech was here for ten minutes and was basically like, no idea what to do with this problem but Ill check it out and see what I can find. Weeks go by, no word from the company or response from the tech who told us to call/text his personal number. I figure Ill give them a covid-19 break since Im sure theyre busy. Finally get in contact with someone who said that theyre going call me back, four or five days go by, I call again they say the exact same thing with no update. Finally we got a hold of the tech, and he basically just said he cant help us out, doesnt know where to get the motor that we need for our commercial shredder because its from Germany. I dont need the same manufacturer I need any motor that will run my shredder!!! I thought they were the experts and would know or be able to figure out a solution. Im not the expert and thats why I called them, unfortunately they arent experts either!So weeks go by and I just noticed a new charge of another $111. so I called them and they couldnt really explain the charge, they said the initial $200 was a deposit towards the invoice, but she also said thats the zone charge for them to come out to where we live. Two stories still no idea whats true. Now shes saying the additional charge is him charging us for more time. She said that she doesnt know why hes charging me the additional amount and that that is unethical but she can only remove a portion of it which was only $26 off. What?!?!?They never once explained to us that the $200 didnt cover the service call. He never did any work I dont know why hes charging us more money than the $200 that we had already paid the company. She said that he billed us for 3 quarters of an hour but he was only here for 10 minutes. She said that she will check the GPS logs. I reminded her that she admitted hes unethical in regards to his conduct and time hes charging us for. At the end of the day, they couldnt actually do the job, so there is no reason to keep charging us weeks after he came out for 10 minutes, and now Im out $311!Were a struggling small business, having a hard time staying afloat in these chaotic times, and its really rough being taken advantage of by this big company, and we still dont have a working shredder.

Jennifer- CK hot side equipment tech, was very professional and helpful with getting our new equipment set up and calibrated. I believe this is the 3rd set up she has done for us and she has done a great job at each site. She understands the equipment and knows her stuff. Takes time to explain the issues and very thorough. Was charged a $200 trip charge to look at my four month old fryer, tech said he didn’t work on propane to often told me the fryer was ok that I needed a new regulator, I installed a new regulator and fryer still not working. The next day they took another $75 out of my account for parts that they never used. I have called and left several messages with the manager and have never received a call back. I am out $275 and my fryer isn’t fixed, this is a scam of a company.

Total scam!! I have you used thier service and they over charged me. And they bill me for part I told them I dont want to replace. The worst thing is they feel comfortable to charge your card with what ever they like. Good luck communicating with them back to clarify it!!!

I had purchased a commercial airpot coffee maker over the internet trying to save money. When I tried to install the machine I discovered the unit had a special water inlet port which was not standard pipe threads. I searched the big box stores and three appliance stores no one had a the right adapter. No one really tried to help except to refer me to another store. By accident I discovered Commercial Kitchen Parts & Service in Google search. I decided to give one more store a try. When I explained what I was looking for the service desk attendant did some searching, tried a few options but none worked. I expected him to say he could not help me but instead he went to his manager (I assume). The manager then spent at least 30 minutes searching around, checking out the actual unit and ultimately found a part from another manufacturer that would fit. The problem was the part I needed was piece of another packaged unit. Rather than tell me it was an all or none purchase the manager had one of his staff look up the packaged part and see if the piece I needed could be ordered separately. Tuns out it could be ordered so he sold me the part I needed at a price far less than the package price. I would have bought the whole thing because I was desperate but they went the extra mile to get me only what I needed. Total sale about $15. Total time with me nearly an hour. How great is that? Got to love that kind of attention to a small purchaser. Great experience!! Thank you very much!

Rude. Don’t care about customers. Just tell you it’ll take 48 hours for someone to come fix an issue. I’m sorry but 48 hours doesn’t cut it in the restaurant world. No one is going to wait on lost sales. Ridiculous company. DO NOT USE.

We used Commercial Kitchen Repair for the first time yesterday, they were recommended by the manufacturer of the dish washing machine we have. Tech arrived at 8:00 am on site, nice gentleman.CKR has our credit card on file prior to any work being done. Tech was on site for 2-3 hours. We spend $400.00 and my machine is not fixed. Our credit card was ran prior to even knowing what yesterdays labor cost us. They want another $400.00 minimum in parts in labor to come back out to our site and use those parts that could possibly fix the issue.We feel completely ripped off from this issue. Again the tech was very nice man, we just dont agree on the rates charged and business practices. Seems like others have ran into this same issue. I was hopeful but, we were let down.

Let me say up until this time, Commercial Kitchen has done me great in the four years prior to this time, always fixed the issue. But this time around has cost me so far close to $1500 and the ice machine issue is still not fixed, still has the original code from the first service call. The first time the repairman said the water pump wasnt working, filters needed changed and the machine needed cleaned. Really, the machine had just been cleaned 10 days prior to it breaking down. Had everything done (there went close to $1000), machine made ice for about 3 days, then the same codes came back up, same technician came back out said he forgot to erase the codes, machine works again for 1 day. Call them back, waited over a week, still no call back, called again seems service call got lost, next day technician shows up, now he claims machine was turned off, funny thing is a block off plate had been installed over the buttons, so it couldnt be turned off, when I said that he went into this spill about how the machine is not meant to be in this heat. Come on now, weve had this machine over 4 years and never had a problem during this South Texas Heat and the machine has been in the same location since new, of course this wasnt covered under warranty (close to $500 bill). Machine made ice for less than a week and now another call to Commercial Kitchen with a request for a different technician, since it still is showing the original code. Request that since this should be a warranty call to expedite the service and get told its all up to our dispatcher, probably the same one that lost the ticket last time. Im beginning to think they do that so the warranty time runs out, then you have to pay again.

These guys are padding the hours worked, and trying to pass on warranty work as billable. Very shady. I would recommend a more honest service provider. Review your cameras to make sure that all hours claimed were actually spent working.
