This is the only place I take my car to get worked on. Even if Im going to do the work myself, I get the parts from them. Dealerships price tend to be higher, but I never worry about the work they do.

Very disappointed. Made an appointment for today at 9 a.m. Was told they couldnt diagnose my problem today. I needed to make another appointment for a day to diagnose the problem and least 1 more day, possibly more, to fix it. A big inconvenience. That is why I made the appointment today to get it fixed and not to have to go back. Told them my problem when I made the appointment. Wasted my time and my daughters time today. I was prepared to leave my car all day. By the way, same problem I had a while back. My service advisor was pleasant. Im really upset that I have to go back.

Writing on behalf of my girlfriend (who bought a truck) but doesn’t have a google account so couldn’t write the review.First visit to the dealer was very pleasant. We were looking for a 2020 GMC Canyon SLE, which they had a few different options. She found one she specifically had looked at online (and came to see), and Brandon got us the keys and we were off for a test drive. Everything went well, we were able to ask every and all questions, and during the whole visit we never felt like Brandon was trying to push us to buy anything, but instead just give us information and create an experience for us. We ended up leaving because there were a couple features about the truck she wanted but didn’t have (ex power seats on both driver and passenger).A day and 2 car dealerships later, we found ourselves calling Brandon just to take one last look at the truck since we were passing by on the way home. We arrive, and he has the truck pulled up for us and hands us the keys to take it for another test drive (without him).Although the truck didn’t 100% have every feature we wanted, two things brought us back: 1) the experience and customer service we received from Brandon 2) the trade in value/deal we received for the truckFast forward over 2 hours after closing, we were still receiving great customer service. One of the other salesman came over just to talk about his time with the military (he found out I was military). Overall, we are extremely satisfied and happy we chose to go with Cavender GMC
Had an service appt. At 8am, got there at 7:45 for oil ch. Told it it would be 1hr. 1.5 hours later Im still sitting there and yet I can see my car. They forgot to come and get me. All service reps had their faces buried in a computer and on the phone instead of helping the people right in front of them. Not sure Ill go back.

We spoke with Jarrett Perkins, who is the best car salesman I have ever met. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He went above and beyond to help us find cars in our price range. I regrettably did not find a car there that I was interested in purchasing. I would have loved to buy from him, just because he did his job so well. It would have being nice if they told me that the vehicle that I was BUYING is 99% CHINESE and 1% American i would never buy it. As a Buick dealer I am thinking American product BUICK never again.

So disappointed made an appointment on Saturday to service my car for my sun roof went in was told that I would need to reschedule cause it would take a whole day to fix it so they reschedule it was also told they would have a uber ready for me so I wouldnt be late to work... went in this moring then was told by vanessa that it would only take 15 minutes to fix she insisted to wait canceled my uber and it literally took 30 minutes to fix and was late to work 😡 such an inconvenience hopefully this wont happen to other clients in the near future

I made an appointment and they were pretty quick with my oil change. I did have to wait a bit to drive out since my car was placed in line behind someone else. Not sure if they were suppose to dry the car after it was washed but mine was not dry. Other than those minor things service was prompt.
I drove to San Antonio with no real intentions of purchasing a vehicle (like everyone else does). I was greeted by Brandon Guzman my salesman, I was originally interested in GMC Sierra elevation edition but they didn’t have the color I liked. He then showed me a GMC SLT Texas Edition and I immediately fell in love with it! I went and checked out other dealers but I felt like this truck was the one, over lunch I texted him that I was interested and he quickly sent me a link with an application to fill out. By the time I got the dealer he had the paperwork ready, they took me into finance they gave me an offer I couldn’t pass up on. Overall I ended up leaving with a brand new 2020 GMC Sierra SLT Texas Edition, I highly recommend Brandon especially to those who think it isn’t possible like I was! Thank you Brandon!
Not too good. The rep I spoke too on the phone Angela Riojas told me to text her line when I got near, after I drove 37 miles to come see a car that was available but not cleaned up and ready to be test driven. She did not respond to the text, she didnt answer my call either, failed to let me know that the car wasnt ready, then they assigned me a different salesman KC, it wasnt her fault, but it took her 15 mins to track down the keys, because every other salesman and tech didnt know where they were, she was pleasant and friendly, not pushy at all, and the only reason the rating isnt a 1 star
I brought my 2016 GMC in here because the first service was covered with the purchase. I had three issues with the service when I brought it in.1. They were suppose to do an inspection, but when I got in the washer fluid level warning came on. Given that they missed something that blares at you when you turn on the truck, I dont have any confidence that the other maintenance checks were done.2. I was also just given my keys with no paperwork, no verification that anything was done, and no results from the other multi point inspection that was suppose to be done.3. I made an appointment for the service, then was told that it would take 1.5 hours, it was finally done in 2. If the service is going to take that long, why do we have to make an appointment.Not a great experience to say the least.
The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Not only did they help me find the truck of my dreams, they helped me find all the accessories I wanted to add.
Great place great service super clean
This dealership sold a vehicle and I had problems with it. I went with someone to get the vehicle repaired amd they didnt give the person a rental or anything. Furthermore, they take your vehicle and take it to another shop to get fixed. This dealership does not keep the customer informed as to what is going on with their vehicle amd you have to constantly call to see the status of your vehicle. When they finally contacted the person, they gave them a loaner vehicle with drinlving of no more than 150 miles a day. What if the person worked in Corpus Christi? This repair shop is unorganized and not prepared to assist any customer when needing repairs done or keeping a customer in the loop as to what is going on with their vehicle.
I bought a brand new GMC Sierra truck in May 2019 and a month after purchase the radio started malfunctioning. The radio was changing channels & making random phone calls without pushing buttons and a loud buzzing noise. I have had the truck in the Service Department four times and it was reported that it was my cell phone and not the truck. The Service Team instructed me to buy a new cell phone to correct the problem since it was not the radio. I purchased a new phone and the problem got worse with the truck radio. I was instructed to bring my cell phone bill into the Service Department for a refund of my money. I called the Service Manager (Robert Lopez) several times and also Johnathan but no call back about the problems or my refund. GMC was finally contacted about the malfunctioning radio and the radio was replaced which corrected the problem. I got an oil change today (6-12-2020)and I spoke to Jonathan Ruvalcaba about my refund. Jonathan gave me all kind of excuses today and basically too bad per the manger on duty. I don’t feel that the customer should have to pay for the Service Department’s incompetence, not when I told them the other 5 times that it was the radio when it was in the shop. I am a Disabled Air Force Veteran and I don’t have no money to waste on incompetence. This is not how you do business and I will not buy another vehicle from Cavender GMC West.
Decided against their recommended service. Could not get an answer after multiple calls to find out when I could get my car back. Finally, just showed up, still not knowing if my car was ready for pick up....bad customer service!!!

Customer service was terrible. I was charged for a parts and labor for a part that is under power train warranty. How do they not know what parts are covered and not? After I caught their mistake the second time they try to wrongly charge me they said they would give me a full refund. Well that did not happen. They just gave me a refund for the part not the labor that are both covered under warranty. Dont let them tell you whats covered or not, check yourself. I am currently waiting, this ongoing issue of 4 months to be resolved. Corporate agrees with me 100% and are currently in talks with distric manager. Service manager and staff our terrible. I bought 4 new vehicles at this location and will never buy another one again. #USMCVeteranApproved
We were in the market to purchase a new vehicle and had been to several dealerships and servers salesman. I was recommended to James Karsten by a friend. I was skeptical at first... but James actually made it happen. Within 45 mins, he had every number we needed, found the vehicle we wanted and made the deal happen in under 24 hrs time. ( we arrived late first day). There was no hidden sales tactic, no added dealer fees, just straight up honest sales! Not only did he get us the truck we wanted, he went above and beyond and got me the wheels I wanted. This guy deserves more than 5 stars. I’ve never had this good of an experience buying a vehicle. Paid 1400 for the service department to get a penny out of the dash. During the repair the tech cracked the dash and told the service manager thats how the truck came in. He notified them of the crack half way through the repair. My truck did not have a crack in the dash at all. These people have no integrity do not shop here!
Great customer service even during COVID
Customer service was not good. 50k I paid for my car its overheating and were stressed, but who cares . GMC corporate will hear about my story today. Overheating issue and Im treated like Im a bother to them when I asked for a loaner, talk about how stressful it is without my car to get to work on time that day.
