Unfortunately someone thought they needed my catalytic converter more than I did, fortunately they were only able to get away with one out of two. My truck was towed by AAA to the shop recommended by AAA, I read the reviews and felt at ease about where my truck was going. Being from out of town, a long ride home, holiday weekend, they were able to take care of my truck as soon as they could. Circumstances out of their control could have made this much more difficult than it was. While picking up my truck, the mechanic was asked to check fluids and tire pressure before we were back on the road. Very much appreciate their professional, caring attitudes. My family made it home with no problems and no worries. Thank you for taking care of us!!!

I have a northern car with alot of rust so my fuel line rusted out. The fix was was originally quoted and I attempted to ask for patching, and they attempted patching to no avail. In the end got my gas line fixed with no extra charge despite the extra labor put into attempted patching. So I really appreciate them as they attempted an alternative option, my car just wasnt having it. They repaired it well and I am satisfied with their services. Thanks for dealing with my requests!

They looked at my car to diagnose it free of charge. They also gave me a ride to work. They were reasonably priced and friendly. The only think th at wouldve been better is if they couldve picked me back up to get my car. Im grateful for the one ride though!

Paul D. Hooks has betrayed my trust due to unfair prices for an inverter replacement in my hybrid Civic. He was going to charge me around $2800.00 dollars parts/,abor to replace the item. The dealership charged only $1400. for part and labor. I thought smaller auto repair shops were better priced for labor, not this one. Take your vehicle to Hill Country Honda if you are looking for similar replacement of an inverter-type job. At first they seem to charge reasonable prices but once they have you hooked their prices seem to magically increase as if the customer is stupid enough not to know that they charge customers according to what personal/business expenses they have for that month and not the true value of the repair received. Stay away.

So yesterday I was my first time with you guys. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You got my Jeep tower from the side of the freeway, in your shop, diagnosed, and fixed immediately. You were so quick. And you turned a bad day right around.And even when the bad day kept up, and I had a crazy incident with getting a ride and getting by the store to get money, and I was almost 30 minutes late! One of your very awesome staff stayed late until they could run my card, and I could get the Jeep.Because of y’all I was able to get my two little girls to their Christmas party and pick up gifts to put under our Christmas tree— which is very special for a single mom. And we even got Christmas pictures with Santa! Thank you for not just keeping me mobile, but helping me make a merry Christmas for two little princesses!

I was prepared for them to tell me I needed several repairs done that would cost me an arm and a leg. They were honest and only told me I needed brakes on two tires. The work seems to be good. My truck was fixed and seems to run strong. However, my truck took 4 days longer than expected to fix (including the weekend) and I received two different stories as to why it took so long. Either the communication was bad or one of the stories was used as a cover up to make it look like it wasnt the shops fault. Also, I asked multiple times if they could check with the paint and body shop to see if they could correct my front bumper. I never heard back on this. Obviously, the work they do seems to be good based on the reviews but my experience was not the best. I spent a lot of money here and its a bummer that I didnt leave feeling respected as a customer.Update: I changed my review from 2 stars to 4. My check engine light turned on and my truck faced similar problems that it had when I originally took took it to get fixed. Paul kindly checked it out and solved the issue without charge. While Im still disappointed about my first visit, I was very happy when I left the second time.

I recently came to this place to get an estimate to get my vehicle fixed. The man at the counter with his two dogs, this info is so you know Im an actual customer and not a competitor. Quoted me at 7 hours labor for $470 dollars, when I told him no he said your more then welcome to try doing it yourself and see why its quoted like that. Well boss I did and it took me, someone with no mechanical experience only an hour. So as a business owner myself, if my employees take 7 hours to complete a job that should only take 30-45 minutes with someone that supposedly has experience. Id be looking for some new employees otherwise your just overpricing your customers either way you are in the wrong as a business and a manager or owner, whatever you are. Good luck on running your business, but in my opinion you need to go back to school to learn about improving your pricing and time management skills. Also, another question do your employees get paid by the job or by the hour. If its by the hour Id be milking your clock too. If you pay by the job your employees are more app to finish it faster so they can stack hours. So, hmm if you charge for 7 hours and only takes me an hour I still have six hours to work and stack my hours for less of a wage, then if I milk it being paid hourly. Instead of gouging your customers prices you should think of alternative ways to save on your expenses. Labor is one of the highest, your rent/mortgage should come next. If you dont know these simple things why are you in business, go flip burgers or spin a sign on the street, doesnt take much to figure those two jobs out. Might be ideal for you.

I came in to get my spark plugs replaced a while back and was quoted $500, Not bad for an old school Cadillac. Left for a while then got called back quick, I was told it WASNT GOING TO BE AS MUCH AS QUOTED whaaaaat???? $350. I love this place. They got a customer for life.

Needed an emergency repair to the missus Crown Victoria fuel pump and it was accomplished quickly and at a fair price after her car died nearby coming out of the medical center. Would return if car service is needed in the area.

Took my auto parts myself to save a little money. Simple water pump change. Paid and took my vehicle out. Water pump began spewing fluid had to the home. They pick it up and reinstall water pump. Says the gasket I purchased at the the same automotive store their technician said they purchase is defective. Added something extra. Took absolutely no responsibility what so ever. The owner wasnt man enough to speak to me himself. Sends his lackey. I paid more than I originally paid and truck left in worse condition than I left. Total lack of responsibility. Robbed.

David told me to come over, Blake saved the day.My old truck had an issue with both license plate bulbs and one reverse light. I had no tools in my truck to do this plus my body will not allow me to easily climb under vehicles as Ankylosing Spondylitis sets in....body fuses joints starting with hips and spine.I told Blake what I needed done and he took care of all 3 quickly, friendly and professionally.My 2000 Dodge Ram apparently had one license plate bulb burn into the plastic socket flange. Blake super glued both into place for me since I didnt have time. .traveling....to get the parts.I took a few pics to show you. The plastic bracket, flanges were disintegrating as they were handled. I really appreciate his effort and good work.I knew all was fine as I traveled through Houston, cop on my tail, and I wasnt ticketed for license plate lights malfunctioning.Blake did a great job and I appreciate David allowing me to pull in at 4:15 pm or so for these crucial to me fixes.Thanks guys!I would very gladly deal with them again.PS weeks later, the one on the right failed. Intially mentioned only battery issue and also mentioned need to chage timing belt and oil leek and small issues asked me to spend 900$ to fix. after spend 900$ ac did not work given 400$ extra. still Ac is not working. now telling mount problem and egr volve problem. finaly car is not in a running position need to sell it as junk. please avoid this store in advance. more over he is not working and someine else working. spent 1400$ and stillall problems remains same and added extra mount issue and car is not going more than 45mp speed

DONT COME HERE.3 weeks ago I went to Paul D Automotives. They fix on a number of issues because my car ran hot. Well the first week I didnt hear from the company. I had to contact the company come to find out he was out of town. Well the employee told me one price and when I made it there it was an higher price also I asked since they went under the hood would everything will be under warrent. The employee said yes. Well 5 days after receiving my car my check engine light came on. I returned it and the same employee had told me that my engine was running cooler than normal. I asked is that good or bad thing. He then replied no and Ill just turn off the sensor and if it come back on we will check it. Well I went to visit my mom and the check engine came back on. I took it to my mom mechanic just to find out they didnt replace my thermostat or even put one on. I was afraid to get on the road because my car was hot so i had to get replaced. I took back to Paul D hooks the following week because I was so afraid to drive the vehicle that My Mom drove it. That following week and it ran hot again. I took it back and he told me that he was going to refund me the money that took me to get the thermostat. Oh also my mom mechanic told me that the crank seal was broken.Today I went back and just to find out my crank seal was broke. He wanted me to pay labor once again under the negligence of his employee he wanted me to pay full price which was 663. I ask for the money back on my thermostat. He gave me a check for $40 BTW I paid my moms mechanic $177.55. I left and told him I will be take him to court. I trust him with my vehicle and money. Overall he charged me 2310. I wouldnt dare give him star bUT i had to in order to give a review. This will a bad business decision if u come here.
