In the deater area there is no have hand sanitizer, no are using masks (inclusive the supervisors). . They didnt even have emergency wraps on their faces. We are in a pandemic and cases continue to rise higher and higher.

I would give them no stars if I could, the worst Manheim location I have ever dealt with, I have been buying from Manheim for over 10 years and this location is sugar coating vehicle ratings, not washing cars to inspect them and saying that the seller didnt request a wash. If you cant see a car that is covered under dust and salt, how can you inspect it? After speaking to arbitration Kristy and Nica both are trash, they just read a script and wont admit to anything even if its common sense. The title dept never calls back or picks up the phone. Upper management is no where to be found, Mike Browning was out with a flu and I was promised that he would contact me ASAP within a week, that didnt happen, no one called back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION, and DO NOT BUY ONLINE, youll get nothing but surprises and no one will accept fault at this location, the ratings are exaggerated cars are filthy, the car pics I attached was rated 4.3 above average, and it is full of rock chips and scrapes that werent noted on report and the pictures of the vehicle at the auction were filthy how can you see defects? The last picture below is how the vehicle was inspected and showed on the website 4.3 rating out of a 5 is above average, its covered in dust and salt, how was it inspected? Even my transport guy who has been in the business for 27 years said this location had the filthiest cars that he had ever seen at a Manheim auction.

I would give it 5, but its kinda hard to find your car sometimes. It could be in a weird place where its not supposed to be. But, gotta hand it to the employees, they work hard and theyre very nice. There are a lot of cars there too, so you cant expect it to be perfect and exactly where its supposed to be every time.

Purchased vehicle in early June, here we are on August 19th and I still have no title. I have called many times and been told it has already been mailed a couple days ago. So they mailed it a couple days ago at least 5 times? Voicemail has been full and not accepting new messages for 3 weeks, so you have to speak with the operator and have them go find someone. TERRIBLE service after the sale.Pickup of the vehicle was not great, either. Staff was rude, and unhelpful 100%.

First time buying here, normally but from Americas Auto Auction, and called to check on how to pay before coming, they told me they cant take payment in person anymore because people might be infected with COVID-19 so I had to wait a day and spent $31 to overnight payment, and they told me my gate pass would be ready, then get there Friday July 3 and security said my gate pass wasnt printed, they must have forgot that it was a holiday when they told me it would be ready. Very frustrated. Plus, auction fee is double what the competition cost.

Top notch security staff!! These guys are professionals. I, most of the time, pick up my units after hours and the security team is so accommodating. They are very polite and there have been times where they offered me cold water during those hot summer days in multiple occasions. I did not catch his name but there’s a former U.S. Marine young man whom, I believe, leads this security team and he’s doing an outstanding job.

As far as a place of employment, this company from HR to management, and the people you work with, really exceeded my expectations! The people I got to work with, really want you to succeed, they are always there to provide you with help and assistance. This is a really large place, and when I didnt know where to take a vehicle, I could always count on somebody there to provide me with directions. Truely a place where attention to safety and assistance to others, reigns supreme!! I will have good memories of Manheim and its staff for a very long time! Thank you.

Although she did not close the arbitration case in our favor, she did excellent job explaining the ARB policies and providing documentation. We’re very happy with this transaction. Rude. I dont rate places low very often but this place gets it. I will say though, that my experience was only in dealing with a temp agency within the facility. Everyone else outside may be great. Roadrunner, within the facility, are completely inappropriate and ran in an entirely disorganized manner,...and rudely. A couple of people were nice enough coming in but but going out and never going back were like night and day. If you are considering a tiny job working there, please consider the other temporary agencies that may staff you with them because Roadrunner doesnt appear to be, in any sense of the word, professional, at all. If your standards are low, then by all means, go for it. Dont say I didnt warn you though.

Went to pick up the vehicle and she was sitting on her desk some person told her someone needed to speak with her in regards to a vehicle she just walked around and rolled her head. Out of state buyers run from this place. High fees. Condition reports would list every little scratch and dent but would not report a major damage. Do not trust Mike (General Manager). He sounds like he is willing to help. But at the end of the day he would not honor his word. Please see the attached picture. According to the auction, reporting that damage is optional. My advise if you buy a vehicle there do not be surprised by the repair bill.

Worst auction place ever. They do NOT know how to communicate, made the entire process of picking up a car (that is paid in full) completely difficult, all the way down to paying for it. They did work to the car that was not suppossed to be done, and expected us to pay for it. Amanda was zero help and really rude. Would not recommended this company to my worst enemy. This business is not about helping people at all. I have multiple friends who own car lots and will tell them all to steer clear of this completely ridiculous company.Update: come to pick it up and the undercarriage is HANGING... what kind of dump of a company is this? Charged us an “inspection” fee but you didn’t see the undercarriage is hanging. Joke of a company.

Since Michael Browning took General Management of this Manheim, it has gone completely South. This auction used to mean something where buying Green Light was at least somewhat guaranteed. Now you buy a Lemon Green light and Arbitration will send anything through even with a PSI. Titles are always delayed. Title Clerks have no idea where or who has a title. Arbitration doesnt understand their own policies.

First time buying from this Auction. Ordered transportation and 14 day PSI through the Manheim website. PSI passed. Vehicle took 3 days to pick up and 11 days in transit. It arrived two days later than promised. But still less than two weeks from day of the auction.The vehicle arrived at 6:30 pm eastern time and had issues that should have shown up on the PSI.Called main Manheim number and was told I needed to call the auction location to start a PSI claim. Called the auction and left a message at 8:06 pm. The Next day called and talk to Christina in arbitration. She told me she cannot authorize the PSI claim because the 14 days had passed. What? It was the second wednesday after the auction. By my math that 14 days. Christina says she will ask Nica the manager and see if she will allow it and then call me back.Christina does not call back. I call again in the afternoon and speak to Christina again. She said Nica would not start a claim because it needed to be reported before 5:00 pm central time. I ask here where this is documented and she says in the NCAA arbitration guide (Its not documented there)I call and leave a message for Nica. She never called back.PSI at this auction is a total scam. They demonstrated a complete and utter lack of intent to honoring their commitment to buyers.

This place is dishonest and unfair. Here you truly get treated like this company knows they are too big and one customer does not matter. Every person in a managment roll acts exactly the same. Bring an issue to their attention and watch them go through the motions. They will listen, then explain how there is nothing they can do, then they will do nothing. At least the are consistent. Im not speaking about one instance. Ive been a dealer in San Antonio for years and have been in the business for even more. Whether you want to get screwed on buying a vehicle, getting a fake PSI done, losing your vehicle on their property, having things stolen from your vehicle while its locked up on their property with the fake security they have, or trying to get your vehicle off of their property with the paperwork they give you, or even this new way they found of stealing your money when paying for your vehicle. Dont question them though, because their error proof system was invented by a 3rd grader. When you ask for proof they have notes in the computer. Really? Notes? This Billion Dollar Company has notes? No cameras outside in their auction storage area where they keep millions of dollars of dealers vehicles. No cameras inside that shows where the money goes after its given to the clerk. No, none of that, just notes. 👏👏👏👏👏 Good job guys. Yall really knocked it out of the park.One positive thing about Manheim is it gives me hope. Knowing that it is possible for a company to have HORRIBLE customer service, ZERO accountability, NO moral compass, and yet be so great at making money. All I am missing in my business is NOTES 🤑

The Management at this location has very poor customer service, multiple messages left and no response from the GM. They ran a vehicle through with a Ride and Drive green light on, which means its road ready with no major defects. It has a major engine defect and should never have run with a Green Light. With a major defect that vehicle should have been run as an AS IS vehicle and it was not. When I asked the GM about it he told me he would get with the seller and call me back. I am still waiting. I have not had this issue with any other Manheim Auction but this one. Condition reports and proper disclosures mean nothing to them, its only about the money.

I say most of the folks with negative reviews are correct and I am sure most of the car dealers agree with me... A piece of advice and admonition to all online bidders, stay away from this auction or you will incur huge losses spending your entire time and money on mechanical jobs. Here I am not talking about units running on red light, I am talking about units running on Green Light with sugar coated grading. This auction is all about greed, fabrication, ill and unethical business practices. You folks will understand once you get you get into a situation when arbitration department backs off saying its sold and Its Yours.

This place sucks!!!! All the managers are horrible!!!! The scooters services sucks!! They are all slow and always on lunch!! They dont care anything about customer service they only care about their selves ! This place should be shut down !! Courtesy vans are never available and Roy is a grumpy old man! To be honest do they even read these reviews because if they did, they would see how bad of a place this is and do better !! I think the only nice thing I have to say is security work their butts off to make up for Manheim crap !!

Purchased a lemon from this auction. The sales person I dealt with stated their was a sensor that would cost about 30 to replace. This part ended up costing 1500. 1 month after the purchase there are other things that are starting to give us problems with.

Missed a call from them, Ive never heard of them in my life. I dont go to car auctions, not even 100% sure what they do. I called back and the lady said Well I have over 80 phones I have no way of knowing who you are Yes, obviously I dont know you, you dont know me. We need to figure this out. But come on, theres no need to be rude. I could have been a potential customer/client. Really unprofessional, now seeing all of these bad reviews, looks like a mess over all. Terrible Auction only favors the big dealers and continually screws the smaller independent dealers. Good luck trying to get something arbitrated even if it passes PSI and there is something wrong with the vehicle they will deny your arbitration claim. People are rude customer service is terrible.

When I went there to retrieve my personal belongings from my car, more than half of my stuff was not returned to me. Including a duffle bag of clothes, my iPad, 2 pairs of shoes, as well as a lot of other things important to me. They claimed it wasnt there when it was dropped off, and they say they dont keep any records of who drops cars off to them. I find this impossible to believe and I think an employee of theirs stole my property. Ive already filed a police report and Im going to recommend that nobody EVER uses this business or give them a second glance. Bunch of thieves and liars. This company is more than deceitful, theyre downright crooked

My car was sent there for my fault of my own. But, when I got it back my belongings were destroyed & stolen. A key was made & not suppose to be. So, saying that much it messed up my alarm when I started to use my own key & was not told that it would do these things. So, now fingers are bring pointed as to whom is to blame & I cant get anything fixed. I wish they would just own up to doing what they did & fix it. Sooner or later my gas line will shut down & I cant drive my car. Im curious who is going to fix it then!!

Hands down the worst auction customer service I have dealt with. It typically takes a week to hear back if you leave a vm, if you hear back at all. My Manheim rep told me she gets more complaints about San Antonio than any other Manheim auction. I love Manheim but will no longer do business with Manheim San Antonio. The arbitration department in particular is horrible.

Having trouble with a $16.52 error on they end, sent package to other dealer and used my fedex #. We have called 5-6 times and keep getting the same answer. They have blamed DFW manheim and FedEx, always blaming someone else. I know it only $16.52, but the package did not even come to me, it went to another dealer and they charged me. How is that anyone fault but Manheim San Antonio.UPDATING : as of today they have said that they would refund the $ on the error. Moving from 1 star to 2 stars.
