I discovered this amazing coffee spot in March with a friend. Since its so good, I visit usually every 1-2 weekends. Im a huge fan of the Nutty Professor latte - its perfectly sweet with nutty flavor goodness. I usually grab a cinnamon roll or whatever delicious pastry was made that morning. Follow their insta to see what fresh pastries they are selling that day. The front area is a great spot to wait for your to go order and there are two rooms toward the back where you can chill if you want. Everyone working here is kind and patient, quick and efficient.
Best coffee place in town. Delicious! Plus homemade everything! They close at 3. The pumpkin latte is killer. Not too sweet. Just right! They make everything from scratch!! And they have gluten free items. Its tiny but there is some seating inside. The staff is friendly and one of the only places around that isnt understaffed! There are also smoothies available. They have homemade sandwiches, scones,, and cakes as well! I literally took a sip of my coffee and thought, I shouldve gotten two. Its in a plaza so there are quite a few parking spaces. Its in the corner, kind of hidden. A hidden gem. Its been there over a year and I went because everyone in my neighborhood was talking about it. So worth it!! Way better than Starbucks or Dunkin by far!! Ill go back as much as possible!!
The brownie and Day Dream tea are delicious! The male barista was very polite and asked specific questions about how we wanted our beverages. BUT the female barista with the glasses and purple hair was super rude to her coworker. She yelled at him about the drinks and was throwing dishes around as she washed them, she made a very hostile work environment and uncomfortable experience for customers.
On Friday it was the first time coming to this fantastic coffee house. They took the time to explain to me that they roast their coffee and bake all their items. They were so friendly; I felt like Ive been coming here for years. I had a brisket, egg, and cheese kolache, but eat it before taking a picture. It was so delicious. The Texas Bourbon Cold Brew was phenomenal. I will go back and have some more and get some to take home. The cinnamon roll was Texas size and outstanding. I found my coffee house!!!
Cute little coffee shop. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I ordered the Nutty Professor and it was yummy. I also ordered the bacon & egg biscuit - it was fresh and delicious!! Homemade biscuit for the Win 🤩
This place is awesome! All the iced specialty lattes are fantastic. Kolaches, Breakfast sandwiches, and all the pastries are great. Ive been going here as often as I can its my favorite place to go on my day off to relax and have some coffee and a pastry. The lobby is surrounded with some nice art as well! Staff is super nice and I always feel welcomed.
First impressions mean a lot and let me say first that Im impressed. The corner coffee shop will always be in the corner of my mind, pulling me to return. With a selection of coffee flavors to match the number of my taste buds that sing their kolaches praise, theres bound to be something here for everyone. Teas, lemonades, coffees and lattes. I was pleasantly surprised. What I appreciate with the coffee is that I can still taste the actual coffee. Its not pumped full of syrups and sugars. It means pairing it with one of their several pastries isnt going to leave me feeling super unhealthy and gross in the end. An iced coffee and a warm sticky bun can feel like a comfortable fleece blanket on a cold winters day. They also seem to have a few art and jewelry pieces you can buy too. Its a quaint little shop and Im looking forward to trying out more from their menu soon.
Amazing sandwiches and coffee. Worth the price 😃
Recently found this little hidden gem on the NW side of SATX. I usually drive across town for quality espresso... now I’ve found coffee me crazy and their espresso is so delicious. As well as their brisket Kolache‘s >>>Highly recommend an iced latte with lavender and vanilla! The baristas are also super nice too!!
One of those places you wish you could walk into on a rainy day that has the perfect music playing and has that cozy atmosphere.Barista was extremely nice, the kolaches are humongous. And the coffee is perfect. My only complaint is they close way too soon. I would live here if the were open till later.
Cool, relaxing atmosphere. SO MANY yummy flavor combinations in their coffee. Kind staff that support local artists and provide home-made pastry/foods. They even offer a punch card and a discount for teachers, people in the medical field, and military. (Im not sure about first responders.) They also have WiFi and a small private room for study groups! TRY IT!
Awesome neighborhood coffee spot! Had an excellent cappuccino this morning with oat milk. The lemon raspberry scone was sooo delicious. It was a bit fluffy like a British scone. We loved it and the giant breakfast sandwich. Definitely will be back.
Sweet spot, one of the pricier cold brews you’ll find in the area.
Vegans rejoice you too can order safe vegan friendly baked goods! Great coffee, great combos of flavors and a great vibe, this is aside of the very nice people working there. I feel very lucky to have such a place close to my home.****Update**** they are so good about asking about what “milk” to use in the drink. That is very much appreciated because often I come in tired and I forget.
Alert and friendly staff! The berry creme iced tea is probably the best tea Ive ever drank. And you CANNOT go wrong with the dealers choice! I thought itd be malicious but it was delicious. Definitely will be back, a new favorite of mine for sure!
So I only tried out this place because my mom loved it and always tell me how amazing their bakery is and their coffee combos are. So I’ve tried it out a few times and my mom was not wrong(this time lol), the pesto sandwich thing is great and so is the coffee everytime. Forgive me as I do not remember her name, but she has blonde hair and is always nice put me on to oat milk in my coffee and I wont go back lol
Staff is very friendly, coffee was ok. Decent pastries.
This place is our friendly neighborhood go to coffee place. They have always served us with great customer service and delicious drinks! My favorite thing they put me on was adding oat milk to my lattes, which Starbucks does not offer. I recently left my wallet there one morning and they held it for me. When I returned to pick it up they greeted me with such excitement and were just so welcoming. This is exactly why I love giving them my business.
Amazing coffee shop! I took my mom here because she wanted a local coffee shop close to her. We tried it out together. They were super nice and helpful and had great suggestions based on what we told them we liked! The coffee is delicious! I had the nutty professor and it was so good! I definitely recommend this place! Their baked goods are delicious as well!
Im in love with this coffee place. Way better than Starbucks, better atmosphere and better service. I love their lattes and their bourbon barrel items r to die for. Can order some cakes or pies. Always have bakery items to go w the coffees and always a smile too. This couple is sweet as candy and I am forever a customer ! !
I discovered this coffee place and it has become my favorite, I just love how friendly they are when taking your order, the coffee is delicious I am in love and their pastry is exquisite
Great service from the staff, great coffee. This place is an awesome addition to the neighborhood.
Really liked the natural flavors of the specialty lattes. Not too sweet just right. Breakfast sandwiches were great too. I got the Everything Bagel with Egg & Bacon. Homemade deliciousness vibes.
This is a very cute and cozy little coffee shop. They make everything in house. The coffee, the treats everything. They have a ton of different coffee and lemonade options to choose from. The lemonade are delicious and so is the coffee. Everyone who works here is so sweet and inviting. We can see ourselves coming back for another good cup of coffee. Thanks for the amazing first time service. ❤
Super cute coffee shop! Kinda hidden but worth the search.
This business refused me service because I would not wear a mask even though I told them I have a medical condition that has me not be able to wear a mask. I even have a letter from a doctor stating this. The ironic part is that the employee telling me this was not wearing a mask the whole time. Also the older gentleman, I assume the owner, had just pulled up his gator (don’t get me started) will this conversation was going on. He was not wearing it when I walked in while he was prepping food forThe day. Interesting. Do not recommend this place.
We love this place. There are art shows here about once a month as well.
I Ordered the Banana bread and the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread and both were really bad. They need to reevaluate their bread recipe. And they need to switch up their house coffee choice, they rely on Ethiopian bean way to much. Or maybe they can have two different type of house coffees, for those of us that realize that Ethiopian coffee is not really the best bean.
This is honestly the spot to be. Its relaxing, but also upbeat, the foods are fresh and have healthy ingredients AND taste delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and always makes you feel like part of the gang. 🦋 the coffee is a whole other story as well. Its fresh always for one. Never lacking in flavor. The lattes are my favorite, they have certain ones on discount for everyday of the week as well! I guess I could just say I love this place but I had to describe my favorite parts. Definitely worth the visit. Youll forget Starbucks exists. ✨
Coffee was good. I also ordered a pastry the pastry was good but they didnt even offer to warm it up. Usual local shops try to be a little more friendlier. But didnt get that here. Just eh customer service.
Spicy chai! Love itHome made food as wellCan’t pass up the local shop
You feel right at home, pastries are delicious and coffee is amazing! Will definitely be coming back!
My fiancé and I made a trip to San Antonio randomly and decided to try a local coffee shop. I was genuinely excited to try to this place after reading the reviews. To my surprise I didnt enjoy the environment I felt like I was interrupting their conversations for any type of service. I really didnt enjoy the way the workers were having loud conversations and not recognizing their customers. It was an unfriendly environment and I dont recommend this place if you want a great friendly experience. We left for Starbucks after 10 minutes. I am a barista at a local coffee shop as well and I know what should be and what shouldnt be.
I really enjoyed my experience here. Ordered a Blueberry Hill coffee and cinnamon rolls. Both were very tasty, I definently recommend coming here.
I have come here a couple of times, and it is my new favorite coffee place. They have a lot of flavors you would never even think of, some places to sit in the front, and a study space in the back.
Their coffee was good. In fact, it was very good. Their kolaches are ridiculously large and great tasting for the price, which is awesome for you as a customer. Hopefully theyre making a reasonable profit on them. They roast their beans to order (I get it, fresh roasted beans are best) if youre buying beans by the pound, so be ready to wait or come back. I passed on taking some beans to go because I didnt have time, but otherwise very happy with our visit.
My first impression was a lady named Paige. She made me feel like part of their “family “. She was warm and sweet and friendly. Other employees there are just as inviting: Kelsey, Dresden, Amelia, James and Natalie (the owners), Sean, John and Leah. It’s the people who makes me come back- not to mention the best Tiramisu I have ever eaten! Update: they allow me to put my jewelry out in order to raise funds for local charities. So far we’ve raised $300for SAMMinistries, $200 for the Battered Women’s Shelter, $200 for CASA and $100 for the Helotes Humane Society . God bless Coffee Me Crazy!
The people there are extremely friendly an helpful. Soooo many options on drinks. Not just coffee but lemonades an smoothies too. The place is also part bakery as well. So have deciding what to get between the pie, scones an pumpkin chocolate chip bread. They even put there coffee beans in a used bourbon barrel, and a array of countless milk options for the lactose people. Combine that with a great couch an awsome chairs. Plus a little room with a table an chairs an a door you can close for privacy. All of it with some awesome choice in music, I got yourself a coffee house that truly stands out among the rest. Ive been to coffee shops in washinton, Oregon an California. Coffee me crazy will definitely be a place I will remember for a while. Top 5 for sure.
They make you wear a mask even if you are fully vaccinated. Ordered a Chia Latte and the chia they use is very peppery didnt finish my 12 oz. Drink.
Delcious- the peanut butter coffee are my favorites. Will definitely add some time to my commute to stop by more often.
A blessed family running ‘the show’. Power people.
Amazing little coffee shop hidden in the corner. Almost every single thing is made in house. So many specialty coffee options.
Love love! Wonderful customer service and the coffee is amazing! Oh and their pastries are homemade and delicious. The ambiance inside is so welcoming and it will definitely be a spot we will visiting again.
First time customer (my girlfriend is a regular). Really nice coffee shop and the service is outstanding; very friendly and personable. Their coffee is very rich and full of flavor. I love that they have lactose free milk as well as dairy alternatives! I would like to go back and try out their baked goods and the brisket kolaches.
This place is a hidden gem- so glad I found it! Ive been looking for coffee shops that arent Starbucks 😆 Ive ordered from grubhub multiple times now, and the service and food is always great! They have a very wide variety of coffee specialties, but their food is also very good and well sized for the price :) I also like how they drew a cute picture on my bag!!
Amazing! They do everything from roasting, brewing, and baking their items in-house. We tried a bagel and Panini and they were absolutely delicious. Their coffee and iced lattes were also amazing, I wish we found them sooner!
I live in the area, so decided to stop by for a great cup of coffee, and I wasnt disappointed! I asked the owner to make me something great, and he absolutely did not disappoint. The shop was quaint, cute and clean, the owners were smiling and the coffee was great. They have bakery items and savory lunch sandwiches. Come support this local shop, youll be happy you did.
Fantastic coffee, Fantastic food and pastries, Fantastic owners and staff!! Highly recommend the Bourbon Barrel Beans to give your coffee a nice twist ❤
Great coffee place! The selection of drinks is so vast and so creative. The staff was so friendly and upbeat. They seemed so enthusiastic about explaining their products. Will definitely return again!
Ehhh... I wanted to like the place because the people working there are super nice but my latte was barely warm at all and my sons Frappuccino tasted watery like just blended plain ice. Yuck. And these were made right there while we waited so its not like it sat out or anything. The baked goods looked nice. As a major coffee lover I just cant give a good rating when the coffee isnt good and trust me, I am not a complainer or hard to please. I still tipped them. Lol
Had my order delivered by Grub Hub. This coffee is delicious. Purchased the gingerbread latte. OMG! Thats all I can say. Then also ordered a latte with marshmallow syrup. Will drink that one later today. Def a place to visit!
A nice nook to take time to enjoy a meal that is wholesome and nutritional. No bell and whistles to attract you to the establishment, but the scent is all that is needed to find you way. Presentation is organic and humble just like the owners; who during COVID-19 maintained to the rules and pray to prevail.
Didn’t greet us upon entering. Refused service which is a violation of the ADA. I have medical issues and PTSD which do not allow me to wear a mask.
I discovered this place as they were the only ones open on NY day. Omg the coffee is so good and staff is so nice. Will definitely be back.
Love the food and service here and also decent prices.
Came with my niece. We got red velevet slice coffee cake one of the massive brown sugar poptart and two drinks! Everything was wonderful! The service was awesome. My favor local coffee dessert spot
Friendly service, great coffee, and an extremely cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I love this place. Its cute and cosy, the drink menu is amazing and the baked good are awesome. The staff is so great as well very friendly personalities. Definitely going back.
Very nice staff, excellent service. I came here with my wife and we were treated very respectfully, the staff are happy to answer any questions you have. As coffee natives in Houston, visiting San Antone; we enjoyed this place a lot.
Just a great group of people serving great cups of coffee and unique eats! If friendly neighborhood feel is what you like, particulaely with the absence of social interraction as of late due to Covid, this is a great place to get your fix. They do a really nice job with their house baked pasteries, cakes, kolaches, deli sandwiches and more! Enjoy a fun little treat, in a fun little spot.
Required masks, out of a lot of flavors
Been coming here since about 2 months after they opened for business. Fell in love with their kolaches and especially their jammed radar drink. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend. Skip the starbucks and come support a local business. You wont regret it.
Loved it real cozy.
Great service! Amazing blueberry muffin😋& That snicker doodle oat milk latte🥰🥰 Im in love🖤
Good place, great coffee. First time there. We had cheesecake; it was delicious.
Amazing drinks and food! I love their blueberry coffee! Such great customer service
Cute local business serving fresh coffee. I stopped by today and I already want seconds. It’s really good and they offer “skinny” add ins such as almond milk, coconut milk and oat. Also have sugar free flavoring as well.I would recommend!!
The owners make a great cup of coffee. This is my favorite cappuccino in the area. Their baked goods are made fresh daily in house and are worth trying. Cheaper and yummier than Starbucks.
We were super excited to try this new local coffee shop after seeing pictures on Instagram and reading the reviews. The shop decor is cute and the food is decent; However, the staff wasnt very friendly at all. When we asked for something, their body language showed we were bothering this couple. In addition, the employees do not wipe down tables and chairs in between customers which is a concern given the current pandemic. The employees were not wearing hairnets or masks when preparing food which is also a concern.Overall, the drinks are good, food is okay, setup is cute, cleanliness is mediocre, and the staff is very unfriendly.
First couple of time at this coffee shop were wonderful plus its nice to support local business. However, this last time 12/5 service was poor and after explaining my drink order twice with finally pointing to the sign I gave up on the drinks and started with my panini order which when I ate the sandwich it was cold in the center with unmelted cheese. Prior visits the drinks panini and customer service were phenomenal helpfully this was an aberration...will wait a few days and try again
Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and wonderful atmosphere! My friends and I loved it!
Great coffee, my mom and I loved it. I originally gave it 5 stars, I changed it to 4. The setting is great inside but the staff is way too loud. Cant read/ study. Which is a bummer since its a cute spot. Customer service is average.
Cute decor, staff is not the friendliest but maybe they’re stressed/overwhelmed with running a new business. The food is great but as a middle class family with a small child, we probably won’t return just simply because of the pricing. We have talked to neighbors about this as well and they’ve said the same thing. The kolaches are expensive for what they are, as are the drinks. For a Saturday morning breakfast to be over $30, just seemed really excessive for baked goods and some tea/coffee.If the prices were better and the food prep was cleaner (hair up, gloves, etc) we would return! We love small businesses and love the location, we just can’t reason with the prices.
I woke up this morning and all I could think about was their Coconut Latte and their Srawberry Cheese Danish. My daughter and I are Starbucks kind of gals and the both of us are salivating to get back to this little nook in the wall! Friendly staff to top off this wonderful experience!
This place is awesome went here today for the first time super friendly staff great coffee they seem like they roast there own coffee it has a really fresh almost citrusy type flavor but not overbearing like a few other coffee roasters I have been to cold brew was also really great they have some amazing looking baked goods but I havent tried them yet I certainly will next time
There is not a single thing on their menu that is not worth trying at least once. This store is what every Starbucks location strives to be. Seriously if this place is open go here for your coffee/tea/pastries.The ownership/staff is very friendly and genuinely cares about the quality and effort put into their craft. EVERYTHING is full of flavor and quite filling. I personally drink my coffee black so it is easy for me to taste the amount of effort in each roast and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed; very rich flavor. They sell, HANDS DOWN, the best kolaches you can find at the price they sell them at - THEYRE HUGE. The bread they use to actually make them is home made. Again just full of flavor. I cannot fathom any person with a full set of taste buds/brain cells actually leaving this place dissatisfied.
Cofee was really nice, I was not a big fan of the ambience though
Phenomenal little coffee shop. Weve been waiting for one like this in this area for years. The staff is friendly, the oat milk lattes are divine, as is the house blend, and the fresh baked goods (made in-house) are out of this world. Leaps and bounds better than starbucks. Ill be frequenting this spot.
Only our second time there and definitely our last. My wife & I were starving and stopped by for a coffee and to try their food. We got there at about 1:35 PM and they close at 2:00 PM. When my wife attempted to order a panini, the rude blone girl at the register legit said Um, can you not? Its just that we close soon and I want to go home. Meanwhile 3 other employees could be seen not doing much. It wasnt like they were backed up, she was just rude and lazy and it was a HUGE turn off. Definitely not the way you talk to customers and not the way you run a business.
Trying to support local small business and my niece has been sharing locals we can support. This place came up.. happy it did!! Tried latte with oat milk, cinnamon roll and kolaches. All amazing! Dough on the bun and kolache were homemade and delicious! Coffee was great as well. Actually more of a tea drinker and now that I know their tea selection, I will be back for tea too! Will definitely be back!
Nice small local coffee shop with great brews and treats. Lunch too! Best of luck to the crew there. We will be back!
Went by this morning and ordered their regular coffee and added cinnamon flavoring. It was so good and a great quality coffee. I ordered ahead on Yelp and my order was ready when I arrived. I highly recommend this quaint and delicious spot.
Such a sweet place! Only been a few times to get things to go, but everyone is always friendly and the treats unique!
Very impressed, and coffee taste very good. Staff super friendly and helpful.
They have great coffee and wonderful tasting pastries and lunch food! Their humus is really good with their raw vegetables.
Great beverages, great food, and great service!!!! What more do you need?
Unfortunately my visit to coffee me crazy was not a good experience. The two young employees seemed to have sassy attitudes when I walked in, I was not greeted and placing my order seemed to annoy the cashier. The pastry I ordered was very very hard, and did not taste well.I’m surprised this place is still in business during the covid pandemic, I will not be shocked if they go under within the next couple of months.
