Ive been here twice - once was grab and go but the second time l hung out inside for an hour. I get greenhouse in the middle of the city vibe and l love it. I watched over and over while people struggled to figure out where to snake a line in the teeny bottom floor lobby. Im glad l havent had to figure that out myself. Btw there are a lot of steps in this place. The espresso is strong and delicious. The drink never disappoints. And the staff are always friendly and seem energetic.
A bit expensive, but 5 stars for the atmosphere. The perfect nature/rustic spot, amazing natural lighting, and next to the park. I absolutely loved this place to go do work.
Great coffee, nice vibe, lots of room to sit in or out... beautiful location...
The coffee is great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. But the music is played very loud to the point that I could hear it over my headphones with volume increased to its max. I asked if they could turn it down just a little bit and they said sure but did not change it.
Get coffee for wife and her co-workers here. Super friendly staff and no one has ever complained about the coffee I bring and are super stoked when I bring Press and not something else.
Ive been coming to this location for years. Their consistency and love for the craft has never changed. Its an amazing place for a first date, studying, or catching up with a friend. Its a San Antonio treasure.
Its a really beautiful location, but I was not a big fan of the cappuccino I got. It wasnt bad by any means but the flavor didnt really come through like I would have liked.
I love trying new coffee shops. My husband and I came to Press and the barista told us it would be a 20 minute wait on all espresso drinks. So we got cold brew, I got caramel with oat milk, it was pretty good, and my husband got mocha with almond milk. Total was $16. For 2 coffees. How. Also, the mocha was undrinkable. Though the shop had a cool asthenic, we will not be returning.
We are from Florida and wanted a small coffee place. This place is perfect. The staff is crazy nice and happy. The vibe is very chill and airy. Again the two ladies that were behind the register were so awesome. Not sure of their names but it was may 14, 2021. Best coffee I have had in my life! And the hand pie was killer. Wish I could move this whole place back home so I could go every day.
Cool, vibey place with nice outdoor seating but the coffee was just not that good.
Cute place to study and really good coffee! It is a little small inside but that makes it feel more special!
A cell cappuccino coffee drinks Etc. The customer service is great. People who work there are polite. They sell coffee that is ground in bags such as Black wood and ALAMANCE, etc. This coffee shop is popular among the college students and professors. It is right next door to the college on Broadway street.
The bakery is sooooo tasty!! Also had spiced Apple cider with sparkling water with it
I wasnt sure what I wanted to get and the barista at the time ran through some options and made sure I was getting something Id enjoy. The atmosphere is really great but tiny. Due to its limited seating, I sat outside. The weather was.nice but I was eaten alive by mosquitoes.
PRESS is certainly a hidden gem off Broadway. The space, while quite small, is extremely gorgeous and the ambiance is fantastic. The prices are a wee bit high compared to some other coffee spots, but the coffee is tasty nevertheless. The space can get crowded quite easily but that adds to the appeal. A definite must see for coffee lovers!
Press Coffee has by far the best espresso in town! Love the aesthetic of the shop and the service is always prompt and friendly!
Its good. Kinda spooky sometimes, very good spot for an alt croud
We went to 3 local coffee shops while in SA. This was our favorite for great coffee and great building! Not right on the road, but that’s ok. Quiet and charming.
My favorite coffee shop of all time. Love the atmosphere and how accommodating and welcoming the people are
Very neat little coffee shop hidden in a little shopping center. Wife and I had a Earl grey late and a dirty chai latte (has a shot of espresso), both would order again. Seemed pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon, even a few people in the outdoor boardwalk space. You can enter from the parking lot or the boardwalk. Service was friendly and helpful.
Second time being here. First experience was awesome that’s why I came this place for the second time. First latte, had the just right temperature of the milk, making the perfect sweetness just out of milk. 5stars. For the second latte, i guess the barista steamed it little too much, the latte was too hot(about 160 degrees) lost all the sweet flavors of the milk. However, will give an another try next time I visit San Antonio. The interiors are so great. Nice place to relax and study.
This coffee is very deliocus. So smooth. Great location and I love the atmosphere.
This place is cozy coffee shop which has a unique facade. Its slightly tucked away on the side of the plaza. I needed a caffeine boost and have been loving cold brews so I thought to try it here. I like mine topped off with half and half which they had on a side counter with the sugars. It was quite full since its a Saturday afternoon so theres limited available seating. I decided to take my drink to go.They have baked goods which Ill have to try next time. The tea latte options looks good too. You can pick up a Thanks a Latte card as you check out.
They sell plants which is cool. And the coffee is really good.. like Ill drive 30 minutes here everyday just to get an espresso drink with their Montenero dark roast espresso... And the pastries are fantastic. Very delicious blueberry scone and chocolate chip cookie....
Favorite coffee spot! beautiful inside just tight parking!!! look up peak times to get a good spot :)
Beautiful location and baristas were welcoming and attentive. so much better than local coffee and merit. smoothest coffee ever
Great atmosphere. Awesome service
This place was the cutest little quaint place. Super clean and very modern. The waitstaff was friendly and professional and the coffee was sooooo gooooodddd!!!
One of the best coffee shops Ive visited. Besides coffee, they have tea lattes (more than matcha and chai). The Earl Grey latte is divine. I only wish they had a shop closer to home. Highly recommended for both coffee and tea lovers.
Very cute place, very nice efficient staff and like it cuz they have a Brisbane zipcode as password. Hidden away, had to look around to find it. Coffee prices seem reasonable. Lots of pastries, which is not my thing really. Funky building and atmosphere...Problem.... cafe au lait tasted like water more than milk (lait) and cafe.Free Wi-Fi.
Quirky, awesome property, comfy furniture, good WiFi. The house coffee just didnt work for me, though my wife enjoyed her latte with oak milk.
Had the lavender honey iced coffee. Very food.
One of the most beautiful coffeeshops in the city!Press has a greenhouse feel, with plants inside and outside, and lots of light: Its cozy, and always smells like fresh ground coffee beans...Its not uncommon to see the owner running around; and all the baristas are kind and knowledgeable, about their menu.Their mocha is dark chocolate, and is incredibly delicious.
I have this place four stars not because of the coffee, I recommend the the dirty chai latte iced with almond milk, but because of the space. It is limited but the atmosphere is very cozy and I had a great experience. Absolutely a great coffee shop in SA
So I’m pretty sure this is going to be my new regular spot when I go out to work somewhere other than home. Awesome architecture and very cozy vibe with good coffee to boot. They source locally and have a pretty good rewards program that’s easy to sign up for right when you check out. Oh! Free refills on the coffee so you can stay there a while. Just remember to tip along the way. I can’t emphasize enough how nice this place looks and feels.
Great folks and iced americanos.
A very unique and cozy atmosphere. Delicious pastries and great tea. I do not drink coffee, but they have this five foot tall glass coffee maker that is very interesting. My only complaint is having a single restroom.
Its tucked away on the side of the plaza and looks smaller than it is because its sunk several feet below ground level, but inside its very well lit from the huge wall of greenhouse-style windows. Really a great ambiance. The employees were extremely sweet and professional and the coffees were great. Wish I was in this area more to stop in!
My mom and I have been looking for a cute little shop like PRESS to be able to sit down, enjoy a nice cup of chai, read a book and/or have some good conversation. The environment is very welcoming although a lot smaller than we thought. There isnt much seating but, it is great if you are just meeting a friend real quick to grab a to-go drink to start your day. The staff was very sweet, knowledgeable and had a lot of great feedback on the items they serve. Also, if you are looking for a coffee shop that has NON-DAIRY options this is definitely the place to try. I personally am lactose intolerant so the option for oat milk was awesome! Id have to say the only downfall here is the lack of seating.
Love the atmosphere (very nice place to hang out), coffee and friendly staff!
I love this place, it’s so cute with good coffee, but the last time I went I ordered a quiche. It was small and so overpriced. I left with my order, and once I took a bite it was refrigerator cold. (I ate it right after it was handed to me, so it should have not gotten cold) I will never come back for a snack again.
What a great spot! Absolutely delicious coffee, wonderful vibe, and friendly staff.
I adore this place. The building could not be better, it’s just so BRIGHT and thoughtfully furnished. They use good quality coffee and their loose leaf tea is top notch.-Pasteries are kindda pricey as they are from Lorraine bakery (very tasty though)-(It does get over crowded sometimes and you may not be able to find a seat inside.)
Super cute! Great coffee drinks!
Their internet never works. Cant do work here, just get coffee and leave.
I really like this place. Its a great little building that is practically like a big sunroom. Lots of light and is pretty cool to be in when it rains. This isnt the best place for group work, but is nice if you are working solo. This place has the best tea latte (London fog) in town, which is important to me since Im actually not a coffee drinker. So a coffee shop with great non coffee options will always get my vote.
Good coffee, cute spot. However-- went there to study and wasnt able to connect to the internet. Barista said network tends to favor Mac connections over others. Would recommend finding somewhere else if you need internet connection
Great coffee & tea, young hip crowd, plentiful parking, and charming staff. What a hidden gem!
Quiet tree lined spot. Meet a friend here for a coffee and a walk in Brackenridge.
Best iced vanilla latte Ive ever had!
Extremely cute/quaint coffee spot with the friendliest staff.
This place is amazing! Love the space and the vibe. The coffee is not great, and slightly pricier that other cafés nearby, but I liked the place so much I’m definitely giving it another chance.
Always love press coffee
Cute location and good coffee
Absolutely love the house blend! Staff is delightful. Worth a shot
Excellent coffee from a unique and quite aesthetic little shop. Definitely worth your visit and eventual return.
Good coffee quality and the place is clean ang organized.
Outdoor seating amongst trees. Indoors theres old saltillo tile and lots of upper glass windows - my kind of feel good quirky and cozy place. Good coffee, and Chocolooza is 2 doors down. Grab chocolate and coffee and a friend or book, and have nice afternoon in the shade.
My favorite coffee shop in San Antonio. From the quality of their drinks, ambience and shaded outdoor seating, I love everything about it.
Love their lemon blueberry scones and their mocha chai lattes
