Went here for the first time today and loved it. We had pourover coffee, the PB acai bowl, a bacon egg and cheese taco, and the super avo avocado toast. All of it was great. From a customer service perspective, they did great. Apparently they dont normally serve pourover coffee on the weekends, but their menu doesnt say that. I ordered it and the server turned me down, but the guy actually making the coffee said no worries and made it for us! Only negative is the outdoor seating is only two wobbly tables.
This place is quite small for a little coffee shop but overall nice to place to run in and run out. Coffee was interesting with all kind of spices, so be prepared to try something new! Overall it was a nice coffee shop and would stop by again when in San Antonio to try different things. Got Coffee and a bowl!
This place is great but if you come plan on being here for a while even if you’re only getting coffee. It seems as though the store needs a better system or more staff. We got Revolucion Latte’s which is made with local Texas lavender-infused honey. The latte was tasty and full of flavor. My partner got “Active” cold pressed juice. It was delicious, and the flavors zapped my mouth (good thing). I got “Serenity” cold pressed juice which was super refreshing and delicious! My favorite thing is that the juices are made in glass bottles which we can reuse when you get home!
This place was in a 2 minute walking distance of my hotel and the river walk. Amazing service. I apologize I can’t remember the gentleman who rung me up. He gave me suggestions on what to order. I loved the Mayan coffee and my PB (peanut butter bowl. The bowl was delicious as I ate it in my hotel room. I didn’t realize I had no picture. I also ordered a turkey chorizo. The cheese and avocado lime sauce were missing, which was disappointing. I ate my taco on my flight. The place had unique products for sale, such as the Golden glow up (tumeric latte).
I ordered the More Power to you bowl and the feel better pressed juice. They are both phenomenal . Flavor is on point ! The only thing I would suggest is the make the bowl more filling since it was a small portion but for the price you would hope for a little more . (There is the option to get add ons for extra $) Overall its very tasty and fresh and I would buy again.
As of the time of this writing, they had run out of espresso, so no espresso-based drinks. I just got their drip coffee. For $3 at 12 oz, it was a typical price. However, it was probably one of the best drip coffees Ive ever had at a coffee place. It tasted like a medium-roasted African or Colombian coffee, with some acidity but not too much, and notes of cherries and blueberries. It was extremely pleasant to drink. I would get it again.
Superb coffee with a creative line up of food and coffee beverages. Fast service with outdoor seating options. Within walking distance of The Alamo.#coffee #theAlamo #San Antonio
Couldn’t find celery juice no where in the world in San Antonio till I came across this place! It was so frikin good! And the size was so big for a good price!
I got a smoothie for breakfast that had banana and coffee. It was a good smoothie that felt healthy but wasn’t as smooth as I would like - avocado as an addition would be great.
Maybe Im missing something and it was supposed to be very light taste, but the cold brew genuinely tasted like water with the essence of coffee - like the melted ice coffee water at the bottom of an iced coffee. My friend got the cold brew latte, they should have probably advertised it as iced half and half.It screams they were running low on cold brew and rather than tell people they were out they just added water and kept selling.
ABHORRENT COFFEE PRICES! I paid nearly $8 for this latte with Oat Milk and an extra espresso shot. I was unaware that they charged extra for Oat Milk and they dont mention the size of the drink so I was shocked to receive such a little cup for the price I paid. (Ive never even been to a place that charges extra for Oat Milk, and an extra $1.50 is outrageous). This is the worst deal by far from any coffee shop Ive ever been to. I feel so cheated that I felt compelled to write a review for the first time ever. The coffee was okay at best for anyone wondering how it actually tasted.
Such a cute place to study or work on emails! Plenty of food and beverage options and the staff is very friendly. 10/10 recommend this location!
Really cool menu and delicious food. Amazing coffee and smoothie options
Tacos is delicious, we got bacon egg & cheese, good portion for a light snack. The black coffee is really flavorful, & mayan mocha has chocolate taste & it’s good.
Breakfast was good. Wife enjoyed having multiple vegan options.
Nice little vegan spot for quick bites. Excellent assortment of fresh juices and coffee. Fair prices and good value for health conscious foods. A lot of good looking items on the menu, I look forward to visiting again in the future to try a breakfast bowl. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the neighborhood especially for some coffee.
An excellent coffee shop for coffee and a pastry. Not sure what brand of coffee they used but it was delicious and we both had refills. Friendly staff, good prices and excellent coffee earns this shop 5 stars and two thumbs up!
If your looking for a healthy plant based option this is a great option! Food, cold pressed juice, and coffee were all delicious!!
Just finished the new Hamburguesa. It is, hands down, one of the best burgers I have ever had. If I was able to recreate this vegan burger at home, I could easily transition to a fully vegan diet.Aside from the great food, the building and dinning area is very clean and has a great atmosphere.
I got an iced latte and it wasnt bad, but I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese taco and there was almost no cheese on it. Very little on the very bottom but you couldnt even tell. If I had just ordered bacon and egg, it was pretty good but cmon.
Got the bloody Mary juice - mind you I love tomato juice and spicy tomato juice - and it was just way too intense. After maybe 1/3 of the bottle Id had more than enough. It was $9 too - yikes. Not too spicy just too sour/zangy I think - probably the ginger. Came back later and got a cold brew though which was pretty good and priced reasonably given the context. Outside seating is kind of fun since its downtown.
Excellent coffee! Acai bowl was outstanding! The $5 coffee+taco is a great snack.
Best place for coffee in San Antonio! Josh the Barista always greets me with friendly convo and goes above and beyond to remember my regular order. Highly recommend the Chagaccino, or the matcha with spirulina! The food is also wholesome and well made. Thank you Revolución team!
The coffee tastes like coffee, the food is a little on the pricey side but still affordable. The bottled juices and the bowls are delicious. I havent tried the tacos yet but people do like them a lot. Absolutely love the banana bread, sweet tooth.
Everything was excellent from the coffee drinks to the sandwiches. They take avocado toast to a new level!
Great acai bowl! I recommend the pb + jelly bowl
Overpriced food and low quality customer service.
A bit of less then stellar experience, coffee was not really great, milk was not steamed well, and staff seemed overly annoyed at most customers. It pays to smile ;)I get only having 1 cook in the kitchen, but this food took a looong time. Over 25 minutes—
This place has a great atmosphere and friendly guys making delicious lattes. Definitely recommend.
Good acai bowls and coffee, nothing I didnt like, just nothing Id completely Id rave about other than theyre all plant based
Agree with KateThey REALLY need a better system of taking and fulfilling ordersHere in a Saturday morning with 6 people and it was soooooo slooooow😔Great concept though
The staff is amazing and sweet, we actually went back the same day for more. The Mayan Mocha hot is a must try, its my favorite.
They have detoxing drinks as well as decently priced coffee. Some other stuff aswell.Mini coffee/health store so to speak.
Pretty legit coffee. Along with the other fresh options. A must try
Wow. Literally the best breakfast tacos I have ever had. I had the Mayan mocha with oat milk. SO GOOD!! Just a heads up that they dont put real bacon in their tacos, thats ok with me but my husband is a meat eater. They do have a turkey chorizo taco though (delicious) and we also got the potato egg and cheese tacos. Both were really really good. I wish they would open one of these in California
Nice place. Awesome atmosphere.!!
Loved it! The strawberry cheesecake is straight up a savory snack 😍👅
I ordered an acai bowl and waited 10 mins before I saw someone pull it out of the window where it had been sitting for several minutes. After I left and opened it up I found it to be completely MELTED! Very disappointed and even more irritated that I paid $11 for it. You also dont get much for what you pay considering the pricey bill.
The PB+Jelly Acai Bowl will wash away any hangover or stress. Pair it with a Turkey-Chorizo taco and youve got a healthy, flavorful, fresh, filling, and unique meal. I sometimes dream of these bowls. Theyre like a big bowl of ice cream, if ice cream made me feel like I just went for a run and ate a kale salad.
Great food and coffee! Cool, hip place
Pleasant staff, delicious coffee, and fresh + vibrant ambiance!
The coffee is excellent love it and the place is good too.
The cashier looked like he already had a bad day .
A surprise gem location. I like to explore new coffee shops and this is definitely a wonderful spot and great staff.
The almond milk made in house was the star of the show in my matcha latte. Seriously phenomenal. The smoothie bowls and plant based tacos all impressed and the decor is breezy and light. Really enjoyed this spot. My hubby who usually is super picky and rejects a lot of vegan dishes enjoyed the tacos as well. Definitely can recommend!
Sign outside is very misleading, it says 100% juice coffee and food made daily, making you think you can go in and order without worrying about dead animal, menstrual matter or breast milk in your food
Very cool place to get something healthy or vegan. Juices, fruit bowls, brunch and coffee are all on offer. We had banana toast, a fruit bowl and blt. All were very good. Nice minimalist layout inside too. Id recommend.
This place is quite small and cute with a good selection of juices. The juice was really fresh and yummy, if a bit spicy. However their coffee is the absolute worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Save yourself and walk across the street to the bakery instead where they make much better lattes and brews.
Great quality, a bit expensive, terrible service! Here is my experience: I’m visiting from CA and have several coffee/drinks/meals here. I enjoyed the quality of their stuff even though it’s on a pricier range I believe it’s worth it.However, today I experienced a very bad behavior fever I asked a question about the price of a product and how it was different from the day before. The girl gave me an eye roll and “whatever” as a response, even with spending almost $30 for a coffee, drink, and an açaí bowl. It’s very disappointing that how a bad experience can ruin a nice place for you. I believe management should be more careful with their employees selection as much as they pay attention to the quality of their products.
So far Ive only had the smoothies but will definitely go back for the rest of the menu. The vegan chocolate pudding looked amazing.
Great food, outdoor seating, music, and vibe. They also use compostable take out ware, which every restaurant should be using.
I was very happy to find a place downtown to have a vegan breakfast with plenty of protein and fiber. In addition to their daily prepared entrees, Revolucion offers acai bowls and tacos made to order. They sport a full coffee menu with beans from Phil and Sebastian as well as a number of house squeezed juices and not milks. The atmosphere is quaint and chic. In the future, Ill schedule business meetings there or go alone with a good book.
Cold pressed juice on deck excellent breakfast tacos
Love this place!
Great coffee find. The taco+coffee combo deal was pretty cool and the taco itself was very good even though it was on the dry side. Havent tried any of the juices but they all look very fresh.
Decent expensive espressos. A bit of a long wait. He had to remake mine because he forgot I wanted a single shot, and that wouldnt have been a big deal but he seemed to have an attitude when he realized it was wrong. I have to say the place is too modern for me and a bit cold esthetically but the checked out behavior of the barista is why I wont be returning.
Very quaint and local coffee bar that my husband and I enjoyed. Both my Turmeric Spice Latte and my husband regular Latte were very delicious. (Something different for me to try!)The barista really took care in making each drink perfect!
Very good first experience! Definitely will be going back!
Awesome place, friendly staff, great food. Love it, will definitely go again and highly recommend!
Juices of all colors and tastes in glass containers (Sustainability appreciated)Good espresso (Italian taste approved)Friendly and helpful staff!Enjoyed
Their Budda Bowl was filling and didnt spike my sugar levels. The peppermint hibiscus tea was wonderful with a bright refreshing taste.
Its good, but I feel like Im paying for the location of the business; more than anything.
Didnt know that the default for here was in to-go cups. Ordered two double espressos and an oat milk cortado, both espressos were presented in to-go cups, so I asked for my cortado for here. Barista didnt fight me on it so that was good. The espresso was quite under extracted. The oat milk cortado mellowed the under extraction out. Bummer because this place was highly recommended. :/
Best bowls and excellent service!
Their meals are good but I placed an order online and I got 2 confirmations and 2 order updates. I only wanted to place 1 order, not sure what happened to their system. So I go there, pick my 1 bowl up and they said “did you want 2?” and I said no, I ordered 1.They said “well we can just give them both to you because we already made it”. I said they don’t have to do that and thanked them.Come to find out, they gave me both because it had already charged my card twice. So they pretended to be making an exception and giving me a 2 for 1 due to their system error but instead they lied to my face and knew why they intact gave me 2.I will not be going back because they clearly are customer centric and are money hungry.
