I went in because my laptop suddenly stopped working, I was able to get service the same day and even had my laptop returned less than two hours after I brought it in. After fixing my problem he even added virus protection and now my laptop runs better than it did when I bought it. I’m so glad I chose this place over others.

This place goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Took my Early 2014 MacBook Air in to get serviced. I had noticed the MacBook wasn’t recognizing the charger when it was attached. Only when I jiggled the charger then the MacBook would pick up the signal. Then it just finally stopped working. These guys were able to resolve the problem, replace my battery, and even went ahead and upgraded my SSD to a 512gb. This was my first problem I ever had with my computer, and was also my first time doing business with Computer Repair Plus. Went in with a busted Mac PC that was to old for anyone to take a look at, but thankfully the owner is especially great with Macs and helped me out immensely! I was fixing it for a new at home job so unfortunately I didnt have a load of money to get all the upgrades but the owner was very sweet and negotiated to best help me out and ended up going above and beyond! After I had waited 2 weeks to get my pc fixed from some other pc repair I was looking for another pc repair store and stumbled across here . Let me tell you the guys here know what they are doing . They are fantastic they fixed my pc in a couple of hours . They are the best at what they do and won’t let you down . I started having issues with the drivers on my Dell Laptop and had to completely restore it. Geek Squad/BB were charging me $260 only for the “analysis” and diagnostics. The repair itself was going to be $1,000+ according to the employee. I am SO thankful and glad I didn’t go through with it and through my search, found this little gem of a place! It’s a small hole in the wall but it’s the people who run it and they way they do it that matters! Navid and Mark are seriously the best team. Super friendly, down-to-earth and extremely helpful. I ended up paying less than GS’s diagnostics fee... that should tell you something! And my computer is better than ever. I am freshly moved here in San Antonio. My computer crashed and had a error with bios being forcefully loaded. I called him and he already knew what the issue was and said he’d fix it quick. On the other hand pricing for services can stand an adjustment and I suggest that the company be more respectful of pandemic damages to society as far as employment.Parking appears to be a problem as there is a tattoo shop next door that seem to have a lot of customers. It would be nice if the company could work out specific parking spaces to for people to receive services. My car which is a large size sedan had to be place on a side street where it could have been accidently sideswiped.Again, the services were done and finished in a professional manner. I dropped my laptop, a Macbook Pro, and shattered the screen. I dropped it off and was pleasantly surprised by the price to repair, which was almost half of what I had been quoted by others— the screens themselves are very expensive, and Computer Repair Plus gave a great rate for the screen and the repair. They responded back quicker than any other company I sent for a quote. They also don’t charge for diagnostics! The turn around on fixing our computer screen was way faster than I thought possible and now it works perfectly after previously being told the whole all in one computer needed to be replaced. I took my aging custom built gaming PC that I had built back in 2014 to this store to have them install a graphics card I had purchased. This was back in January of this year.Not only were they able to upgrade and repair my aging gaming PC, they updated all the software related to it all and did all of this customized work for a great value.A lot of computer repair shops in San Antonio will refuse to work on anything custom made and for understandable reasons to avoid the risk that comes with custom made computers.If you are in the computer repair business though, you should be able to work on custom computers like an automotive shop can work on custom cars.This was the only computer repair shop I found, days searching online, within this city willing to take on my issue and lives up to being called a computer repair shop.Excellent service and great value with pricing for my repair.I will continue coming here for computer hardware issues and will be referring my friends and family here as well. I had been thinking about upgrading the capacity of my SSD for a while and when the battery starting swelling and popped open the case, I figured it was time to do it. One of the big electronic chain stores wouldn’t even look at it unless I already had a new battery ready to install. They wouldn’t even order a new battery for me so I didn’t even ask about upgrading the SSD.Called up Computer Repair Plus San Antonio, told them about the battery swelling and about upgrading the SSD capacity and they said they could help me out. I went over, Navid opened up my laptop and showed me the pillow shaped battery. He ordered the battery while I was still there, agreed on the capacity of SSD and few days later I had my laptop back.New battery, the case was back to its normal shape, Windows operating system was updated, all my files and music were saved to the new SSD. Friendly folks, took care of my 6 year old HP Spectre x360 laptop for a decent price. I’d go back if I ever need some more work done on a computer.

Look no further, I brought in a Dell tower that my wife needed to work from home and mentioned that my wife needed it as soon as possible and computer repair plus was very understanding and had it updated with a new SSD, latest windows 10, updated drivers, anti-virus software, and Microsoft office all at a very affordable price and excellent timing. I also brought in a samsung laptop with a bad CPU fan and windows 7 that was on the verge of fully crashing. Computer repair plus informed me that the fan was a little difficult to locate but came through with replacement and kept me updated during their search. My laptop now runs fast and smooth with no more grinding from the fan and the latest windows 10, anti-virus software, and Microsoft office. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly and will never make you feel ignorant.

These guys are the true computer Gods and know what they are doing. They recently helped me upgrading my IBM think pad and installing the best operating system for my 13” Mac book pro (2015 model). I Highly recommended to stop by and check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

I went in for some pc trouble although they couldnt fix my issue due to one of my components being dead they gave me a part so I would still be able to use my pc as well as advice on what to do with my dead component. Very nice of them and would recommend to everyone.

Marc went above and beyond to fix a power issue on a laptop with a shorter board. He took the time to try and find everything wrong with it to make it salvageable and save us as much money as possible and though we couldnt save the board, he brought it back to life and it works great.I will definitely be using this shop again if there are further issues with my computers

I highly recommend this repair shop run by Marc and his employee Navid. I had to take in my cyberpower (junk) pc due to having the motherboard die less than an hour after getting it back from the manufacturer who supposedly fixed it. I was not interested in going through the manufacturer again so instead I looked up these guys and was told that they would do a free diagnosis.Found out my motherboard had died, that I had a no-name power supply that would not last very long and that my fans were not installed in the best of place to keep the unit cool. Within 30 minutes they were able to tell me everything and give me suggestions and options while explaining the why. Gained quite a bit of knowledge and felt very much taken care of. While there will be a wait due to waiting for a part to come in, ill have a much better PC than what I originally purchased that will have a 3yr warranty on the pieces they are replacing and most importantly, a piece of mind!Very fair pricing for the services as they were more interested in having the customer satisfaction. They definitely have my future business!

Very friendly and knowledgeable could be hard to get into at the wrong time of day

Quick story before the review. Or skip to the last paragraph for my verdict.I had my computer from Originpc.com and I spilled water on the computer a lot of water. They told me to just buy a new one because they would not help me despite the fact I paid for said service well that went void when logistic bout them out. That is what bought me here.I brought my computer in after letting it dry up for a week to make sure the water was completely dryed up and the computer would be safe and it was. Despite the huge amount of water I poured into it almost all of it into the graphics card it worked. But the graphics card when getting into a game started to have sever taring even though my numbers were just fine.As it turned out the damage was never from water but from defective hardware that was poorly put together from origin. With my mother board having things put into the wrong slots causing cooling to fail to just not even plugging thing into the mother board that needed to be plugged in the failed was bound to happen.Well Mark took a look and we discovered all these problems and that the graphics card was missing key components. EVGA ended up replacing the card as it was a factory issue.From there on his advice I grabbed a new case and cooler and spent the next little while waiting for the magic to come together. Here I am today with the same hardware in a new case with a graphics card that is actually working and im amazed. This computer its the same hardware just a new cooler and case and im blown away by the difference Mark has made.The sound on this computer its under my feet at the moment 9 fans in the system 7 for coolers 2 on the card and the one in the power supply and there is no sound at all. My xbox One X is louder at idle then this thing when its running a game its amazing the work hes done. I have honestly had to check if it was on while playing a game to make sure its still on its that quite. Compared to the sound that came with the Origin quality of work that was louder then the AC unit in the house at idle.Now I know this review ran long and has a lot of filler but its because Im genuinely surprised by the quality of work. I cant recommend this place enough the quality of work and time he spent setting up the computer is far and above what I expected given my experience with Origen and the massive cost of there computers. If you need work done on the computer come here. If you want one built this is your guy. Worth the money you wont regret it. Just be patent and ready to wait a little but I swear its worth the wait.

I took my Macbook Pro on 02-06-21. I spilled a whole cup of coffee. It splashed and spread on half of the keyboard and side. It was terrifying!!! I turned it off immediately. My wife had read, to open the Macbook Pro and turn it upside down for the coffee to drain out and stop any further damage. I had spilled coffee that morning at 7am and called Computer Repair Plus, at 10am. they said to bring it in ASAP to disconnect the battery. A young tall dark headed man with a cap, I didnt quite get his name, but kindly helped me by unscrewing the back cover and disconnected the battery. I got the chance to meet Marc, who worked and fixed my Macbook Pro. He explained to me that there is a very strong possibility I might loose all my files and pictures. I just got it back today 03-08-21. They were not able to save my work files and pictures due to the extent of the damage, but he was able to get my Macbook Pro working like a champ. I just downloaded my Photoshop, and Illustrator. Im totally grateful and am excited to get back to work.

Out of nowhere my work laptop stopped charging. I looked online for macbook repair and quickly found this shop. I called them up, let them know what was going on; talked with the owner and he said I was lucky because the laptop model I had was still repairable where as newer models were not (I lucked out). I brought it in and again he confirmed battery was the issue. Two days later with battery replaced, the laptop is working perfectly again. I have my work laptop just in time for an out of country trip. Thanks guys! You saved the day.

UPDATE: 29 Sept 21. I needed a computer that could run some data for me at work. I hadnt interacted with the business in 11 months (since he originally fixed my macbook), but I sent them a message with a photo of the specs I needed. He responded quickly with a price quote and information, and was able to build me a custom computer, was very communicative during the entire process about any delays or progress, and also reached out to me after I picked up the product to make sure things were running smoothly. Again, excellent customer service, went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of.Original Review:Fantastic service; I sent a message asking for a quote and they responded with not only a good price but also other things they’d do for my computer while they were replacing the part I asked for. My macbook was broken and the apple store employee said that the motherboard had gone bad. They quoted me a crazy amount but the technician at the Computer Repair Plus fixed my macbook in front of me in just 5 minutes. Only the wire had gone loose. He didn’t try to cheat me for some extra cash like the Apple Store did. He is the most honest man I’ve met in a long time.

I brought in my 2018 HP laptop and they did a very good job updating my hard drive from an Optane to SSD. They also gave me a Windows 10 reinstall as well as put a virus protection on there. They did this all for a good price because they honor military discounts. The owner also noticed my battery and fan were old and ordered a new battery and cooling fan free of charge!

Took my husbands computer. The owner heard us out, took a look at it, was able to tell right away what he thought might be the problem. He quoted us, told us to give him two hours. I looked at google reviews and yelp reviews and I knew I needed to take my laptop to Computer Repair Plus. This shop has the best reviews in SA for excellent customer service and being subject matter experts in their craft!I knew I did not want to keep the laptops but I wanted to keep the data that was in the hard drive. Mark and Navid did not beat around the bush, they said the laptop was too old and if they fixed it, it would have the same problem months down the road, so on so forth.Navid worked fast, he was able to extract the data from the internal hard drive and transfer it to my external hard drive in less than 15 minutes.Computer Repair Plus is my new go to. I have a few other electronics I plan to bring here. Mark and Navid thank you for being honest and helpful.

Computer Tech Mark/ owner did an amazing Job in getting my laptop back into awesome running shape. He goes way above and beyond when it comes to customer service and providing an outstanding return. He’s very detailed and knowledgeable in what he’s does. My laptop was not in working right and he did on outstanding job in fixing it along with making it run on top of the line software. Best computer repair company in town! Was having trouble with keyboard and called 3 different places that all wanted $85-$95 for diagnosis. Called CR PLUS and spoke directly with Marc the owner. He said just bring it by and he would look at it. I went by that afternoon and he looked at it for less than 10 minutes and solved the problem while I waited and at no charge. Try finding someone like that these days! Very honest and personable fellow. I will never go anywhere else and definitely recommend him to anyone that has computer repair issues. Great small business owner located at the corner of 35 and SW Military directly behind the Starbucks. 5 minutes from downtown. Go there, you will not be disappointed. ps: I never write reviews but this experience was extremely satisfying and deserved special recognition. Earned a customer for life!

He took my T-Rex desktop and converted into a beast!! Its faster than when first purchased. My laptop had hard drive damage that took the tech wiz a little sprinkle of magic dust to bring it back to life. I highly recommend his service and reasonable pricing!!

I live over a hour and a half away. Ive been to all the cpu repair, all felt like a car dealership sells men.(too pushy). Mr. Mark is a very friendly guy. treats you like a highly valued customer. As far as his skills....they are top notch, A real craftsman of his work AND the most reasonable priced. I would recommend him to my friends and family, to me the travel is well worth the drive.:)

Marc really knows his stuff! I took my MacBook in and he literally fixed my trackpad in less than 5minutes! He also fixed my keyboard and cleaned out all of the bugs I’d gotten from downloads from unsecured sites. His prices are more than fair, he and his staff know their stuff, and I’d highly recommend him to anyone!

I took my MacBook in and within two days it was up and running! I was made aware of my computer’s issues and kept in the loop during its repair and the steps it was taking to be fixed!! Best Buy told me I would have to buy a new computer but boy, were they wrong!! The price to repair my Mac was unbeat too.
