Chrislyn was amazing!! This clinic has the best front office personnel! Chrislyn took time to investigate my insurance information and did many calls as why it was not showing us in the system. Long story short she went above and beyond to resolve our situation and stayed in touch with me throughout the process! Thank you Chrislyn!!
Very very disappointed. They lost my frames twice, and when they finally got them they put the prescription into the wrong frame. I paid over 400 dls out of pocket. It been almost two months since I got the prescription, and I just went yesterday to check on my frames since I never received a call from them letting me know the received the glasses so a Big NO NO for them. I understand that things can happen but overall they didnt act like they care.
Worst Experience! I would not recommend this facility. I was scheduled for a routine eye exam. When I showed up, they were already behind. No big deal! I understand with the circumstances that were in with COVID, things are not normal. Once I was done with my exam, I checked out and paid. The lady at the front desk was sending me on my way with no prescription. When I asked for it she said, The doctor didnt give it to you? I showed her what the doctor gave me which was just a form for type of glasses/contacts she recommended. She told me THAT form was my prescription!? I have been wearing glasses / contacts for over 20+ years. I knew that was not my prescription! Instead of asking the doctor, which was in the room with another patient, she had me sit and wait longer for the doctor to completely finish with the next patient. At this point, I waited patiently for my appointment. Now, because the doctor forgot to print my prescription, I had to sit and wait longer for my appointment to be over. In the time I had to sit and wait the facility next door to order my contacts closed. I will now have to make a second trip to order my contacts. I know it may be rude to interrupt the next appointment, but it was clearly her fault for not printing the first time. Why do I have to be punished and wait LONGER?!?! This will be the last time I go to this facility.
Great service. Dr.Emilia Runey is super sweet. Answered all my questions and helped me understand my eye exam and my results. Alex M where you get your frames made is very informative to, and showed me all the prices I needed and what I was looking for in glasses to help me day to day. Both male and female workers at the time of visit were great. The female employee helped me throughout my process of glasses and she was courteous, friendly and overall amazing. She didn’t make it difficult and she made me feel welcomed and at home. I’ll recommend this location and they have great deals too.
My boyfriend purchased some glasses at this location late last year. He is working out of state this week and had a small accident this morning while working that destroyed his glasses. I contacted Michael Morgan at this location and explained the situation. He was able to order an exact replica since he still had all the information on file and ordered the glasses and took the payment over the phone. This shaved days off the wait time. Staff was helpful in suggesting frames that was covered by insurance and the price range. They tried to their best to sanitize everything touched by people and themselves. Optometrists next door was well staffed and kept a clean and sanitized work space and equipment

I went in with my mom during the huge summer sale and we were immediately greeted by the entire staff. Austin was very thorough and helpful with picking out the best frames and lenses for my mom. A week later I came back for adjustments on my own pair of glasses and was assisted by Austin and Michael. They were both very welcoming and made me a priority. I highly recommend going to this location due to the great service and products! I’ll definitely be bringing my dad here next!
Best experience!!! Ive woren glasses all my life and NVR had someone like Arron who helped me with everything from style to pricing insurance . Not to mention while I was being helped his co-workers were attending to other elderly customers and they were being very patient kind courteous and made sure that the individuals understood . You dont find it often alot of people are quick to rush get you in and out especially during a pandemic. But I felt safe as well sanatizer and they give you a tray so every pair of glasses you touch they will be sanatized. Again but couldnt be more happy with my experience definitely coming back !!! Great job and the team next door AMAZING !! DR was very thorough and easy to understand didnt talk dr jargon.
A10* would be a better rating. On my first visit several months ago they were very busy for a store that size. The gentleman that was assisting me took the time to answer all my questions without trying to rush me out of the door. The whole staff is similar in that sense.Today I visited the store because I had a screw on my frames strip and the lens fell out. The representative Jasmine was by herself at opening time and had 3 customers right away. She took the time to help everyone with the attention focused on them and not trying to push them out the door. I waited about 10 minutes which was not long at all.I wholeheartedly recommend them 100% for all vision needs.
We had a wonderful experience here. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a staff member patiently holding the door. We were helped by Michael who was informative, patient, and very kind. He definitely turned a stressful situation into an easy experience. The prices were more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Vision Works!
We received excellent service today at Visionworks Ingram Festival Square. My husband is hard on his glasses, and Austin and Zelia provided personal service and took time to find out what he needed. They helped search for frames and showed us options that we would not have found on our own. I absolutely love this location! The employees were so patient, detail oriented and made me feel like they actually cared about me and my glasses. I was helped specifically by Josh, and I couldn’t have asked for a better EWS! The other employees seemed to have just as good customer service, and they also are really willing to help each other when needed. Go to this store for all of your optical needs!
Leighann was super helpful and responsive with her customer service skills! While I did not have an appointment (after being told by another Vision Works employee at a different location -Ingram Mall that I didn’t need an appointment), I was still attended to by Leighann. She promptly received my insurance and began processing the information. With her support and assistance, I was able to order glasses on the same evening. She even helped to align my current pair of glasses I had on. Thank you to this Vision Works store for treating me with service. Leighann is definitely deserving of an award and/ or extra compensation for these great acts!!

Horrible customer service. Took my mother to get her glasses, upon receiving them immediately she tells the person she cannot see well. They asked the to give them a try it was a new prescription. Waited a few days and still not able to see well with the new prescription...bifocal part only, she was seeing objects in an oval shape. We went back to get this corrected. They gave her some push back then finally agree to make her a new pair. 2 weeks later when the new glasses arrived, same issue. The lady dispensing the glasses laughed at my mom. There was nothing funny other than frustration from my mother. As she was trying to explain her concern once again this person tell my mom well next time order yourself a single vision and a bifocal and it fixes your problem in a very sarcastic way.Paid 350 dollars for glasses that are now in the trash can. Experienced humiliation when they dispense her glasses and laughed at her.Moral of the story.... Don’t shop Visio works.... lenscrafters told her the prescription vs her glasses was not aligned. We paid another 300 dollars but superior service and customer service#shoplensecraft. As I type this review I am waiting for store to open to put a complaint.
Had a very pleasant experience with my elderly father needing glasses, yet resistant to getting new frames. The employee Michael was very helpful, respectful and wasnt pushy about a new pair. He provided information about the quality and advances made with the glass and frames today. With my dads fixed income in mind showed him glasses within his means and my dad ended up buying 2 new pairs and Michael replaced the lenses on the old pair. My dad is very pleased with his trip and praises for a young man that would be so patient to really listen to his wants. The stores location is easy to get to off 410 and parking is very close to the door.
Visited this location not too long ago and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of the staff here. I only had a simple question on if my insurance was taken but a young lady named Katie not only explained that they accepted it but also delved into what exactly was covered under my plan. She also explained that I would be able to obtain my glasses the same day because they had my prescription in stock! Very satisfied with her knowledge and the overall ambiance of Visionworks. I felt the positive energy as soon as I walked in from ever associate that greeted me.I’ve never been in glasses before, so a few associates were able to give me their opinion. The lady, Kassandra helped me pick the perfect frame and I left satisfied. Great price. And I got my glasses in 1 hour!

I got two pairs of glasses here: regular everyday pair and sunglasses. I had a hard time finding a good pair, but Katie was really helpful in finding a style that worked for me. She was very patient and honest with her responses and I would definitely recommend anyone that needs help picking out good frames to ask her for help.
The 2 gentleman that helped us were awesome. They had 1 frame we needed. They waited for us to get there because we had missed the exit and they were about to close. I wanted to buy a total of 2 frames but they only had one in stock. They took down our information and said they would call us once they located the other 2 frames. They called like they said they would and held the frames like they said they would. They went out of their way to help us by contacting the other stores to see if they had them. once they found them they had them shipped over to their location so we can pick them up. Micheal was also nice enough to ship the frames to us since we were unable to pick them up, due to our work hours. I really appreciate their help;-) The frames had been hard to find & will soon be off the shelf. I contacted 3 other stores and none of them helped the way they did, except a girl at the forum location. The only difference was she said she would call me back but never did. I bought a total of 3 frames for $160.00. Thank you Scott & Micheal @ store #5 for making this process easy and stress free. We will continue to do business with that location even if it is 45 mins away, thanks guys.
I was recommended by a friend went into the store for a pair of contact lenses. I was attended by Christian. I found the contacts I wanted that fit my budget. All thanks to Christian for showing me the different options I had. I rate his service a 10/10 definitely will be coming back.

I’ve been going to this location for years the staff is great...very patient, I have very specific needs for size and fit and they have always done a great job helping me find the right fit and if for some reason they didn’t work they happily helped me find another pair for exchange. Even though I may look at other stores since I travel, I always come back home to this store for my glasses.
The entire team was wonderful from the minute we walked through the door. They went above and beyond to make our purchases easy. They even helped us with our insurance information so we could be reimbursed. Our sales person was Leighann and the fact that she thought about taking care of us beyond “the sale” was priceless.

Visited 12/27/2017. Did not know what to expect coming here, but I wish I had just started my new glasses shopping here. It was a very pleasant experience, and everyone was so friendly, patient, and helpful, especially David the GM, Michael, and Josie. Josie did a great job explaining how my benefits would apply to my purchase, which was very affordable! I was told they would be ready on or before 1/6/2018, but they were actually ready on 12/30! I was surprised by the quick turnaround, especially since it was busy time for them. I would definitely come back here and recommend this place to others, especially my fellow NISD employees! I visited this location recently and was greeted by a lady named Katie who was very rude and seemed to be upset upon helping me . When I asked her to review my benefits she asked “ would you like me to stop doing this to do that for you “ I apologized and let her finish what she’s doing when she helped me look for frames she rushed me and seemed to not be giving very helpful opinions. When I heard the total it was about $50 more than I expected so I explained that I would come back the next morning and Katie got up from the desk, said “have a nice day” and left in a rush. She seemed to be only interested in the money she receives from customers and it embarrassed me a bit. If you’re on a budget I do recommend visiting a different location because it seemed more than obvious that Katie at Ingram festival is only interested in customers who are lucky enough to have the full funds upfront . She was terrible and if you’re greeted by her I do suggest requesting a different associate if you’re not able to leave immediately. Katie offered the WORST customer service EVER. DO NOT VISIT KATIE .
Suzanne was very helpful with my mother at time of glasses fitting. Eyeglasses were too tight initially. She adjusted glasses frame width several times until my mother was satisfied.

I just want to recognize the exemplary customer service provided to me by Zackary, Katy & Scott. Working with something so sensitive such as eye care is an important & hard job to do. After having a terrible experience at the Northstar Mall location that left me feeling unheard, distressed & miserable. I reluctantly went to the visionworks location6035 NW Loop 410San Antonio, TX 78238United Statesto see if they could do anything to help me. THANKFULLY, Katy saw that I was visibly upset & in tears, Katy was extremely CALMING & reassuring that she would do her best to resolve the issue of my glasses, just not being right. While listening to me & giving me her FULL attention she was able to take measurements of my glasses & found the issue. She then brought her manager Zackary over to explain the issue with my glasses. It felt great to know that there was something wrong & they were going to fix it. Zackary was patient with me & explained things clearly & REASSURED me that he heard my concerns & that they would be addressed without me having to return to the previous location. I have now picked up my glasses a week later & they are 300% better. Scott was able to set my lenses in my frames correctly & polished them so they didn’t look like goggles & also reassured me that there was still room for adjustments in the event that I needed any further adjustments. I have been wearing glasses for 20 years & know when something doesn’t feel right. I am big on quality sunglasses so I decideded to stop in at VisionWorks to see about repairing an old pair of Maui Jim Cahuna sunglasses (my favorite pair) that I have had for over 14 yrs. and had recently broken. I did NOT wish to buy a new pair. lnstead of trying to convince me to buy a new pair which they had hundreds to choose from, the employees actually listened to what I wanted. They took the time to explain the difference and advantages of all the different lenses they could offer me.We picked out some newer, lighter, bettter and up-to-date shatter resistant replacement lenses and the price was actually quite reasonable as well. The entire VisionWorks team actually made me feel appreciated and they were all eager to help me with my needs. I really enjoy shopping at places that make me feel like they genuinely care about you and where you do not feel taken advantage of. My sales associate was friendly, courteous and just all around great and I could tell that she consistenently strives to put her customers needs first. This is definitely going to be the place where I plan on taking care of all my future optical needs for my entire family. I love my NEW (actually old sunglasses). You have gained a lifetime customer. Had a great experience at visionworks... I went to a previous vision office and was told my glasses would not be done until Oct 11 that was on Sept 27... I was told that if I took my prescription in to visionworks that they would work with me and try and have them made way faster... Today I went in and within 5 mins of speaking with an employee Michael Morgan he helped me not only pick out a pair of glasses that looked good, felt good, but also for my personality he also help me pick out a pair of ray ban sunglasses so I could get a pair of prescription sunglasses for when I drive... He was very professional and made the appointment easy and painless... After I had my frames picked out he went to the back and found the lens that I needed and had my glasses done in about 10 mins and my sunglasses done in about 2 hours... It was a great staff very friendly, professional, and super fast with great results.. I would recommend them to everyone...

I bought a very expensive pair of guess sunglasses and they broke after wearing them three times. The short time I owned them, they had only been on my face or in their protective case. Clearly they are selling inferior products and probably mishandling them during or after shipping. When I brought them back, I was not helped because I didnt buy their warranty.
My experience extremely unprofessional and lack knowledge of billing/benifits. Furious I was misinformed about my eye exam benifits but yet when I spoke to them about the situation bad thing about it was they act as if it was told me..thats a lie! so I ended up paying out of pocket $150. ridiculous!! call ur insurance and check ur benifits before u go to this place cause so u can compare what they say to what ur insurance tells you.

I then called the store to make sure they got the right prescription and they said yes. After going to the store, they told me that only my eyeglasses prescription was sent over. Horrible horrible customer service at the store in Westminster. Im going to another company. I dont recommend you going to Vision works.
