I use to frequent this store on a regular. My last experience was my last experience with them. A young lady complimented my braids at which point the owner chimed in saying I would’ve “been one of those slaves that was real good at picking cotton.” I felt very uncomfortable but walked out the door. Clean store, Lexi was awesome. She took her time with showing me wigs. Cashier were friendly. I would shop again there.

Found what I wanted and the Staff was excellent.

Needed a last minute wig and got there 20 minutes before they closed. Female in wig section worked with me according to what i needed and made some great recommendations. I was able to find one for $26!! Plus free samples of hair products when i purchase typed.

Its new years eve and I walked into this store to buy some last minute nail polish and I tried a nailpolish on my nail that I was gonna buy and turned in a dried out nailpolish that was on the shelf and the young ladys got upset said i was giving her attitude and kicked me out of store started grabbing products out of my hands very unprofessional young ladys wow 👏 what an experience Happy Newyears Eve

This was the best place to find quality hair with a vast quantity of selections to choose from! It was a long over-due undiscovered gem that I finally stumbled upon after I had moved I ended up having to search all over town for a place closer than the usual wig boutique that I used to go to.This place was a huge surprise to what I assumed was going to be a minimal amount of selection to choose from, but turned out they had JUST as MANY wigs to try on as all the other places in town!The entire staff takes every bit of their time to help you find the items you are looking for. They even keep up with ALL the OTHER BOUTIQUES around San Antonio comparing in order to compete on wig prices!

This store is close to my parents house; and I always stop here to stock up on products when I’m visiting on the weekends. I am big on customer service; and no one in the store speaks to you; From the time you walk in, to the time you leave. I get what I need, and I leave. Great selection, but not a very friendly staff.

Beauty plus always has what you need. The only problem is they are overcharging for their products to make more profit. I only go there now if I cant find the product anywhere else. I can easily get most of what they sell at other hair stores for lower and more affordable prices.

There was a old white man working there with his kids behind the counter.HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ANYTHING RELATING TO BEAUTY SUPPLIES.He was overly rude and made seem as if we might steal something.When I pulled out a 100 dollar bill to pay the apologies started flowing from his mouth. UNBELIEVABLE.GO TO BLACK BOX OR KINGS!

The manager of this store is rude, arrogant and full of pride. Prior to my final purchase at this store, the managers harrassment was so intense. He told me he did not care how much money I had spent in this store and I had spent a huge amount in his store. I told him that I would not spend anymore money in his store and I have never gone back. We dont have to accept mistreatment from these people. Black women we can order beauty supplies online. Stop shopping at businesses that do not respect black women.

Wide variety of products and deals for discount card over 30$ spent. Very Nice staffOutside of building looks shabby a refreshing coat of care on logo sign cause I thought they were closing 😮, but inside is very nice and not packed whenever I go.Also has security for those kleptomaniacs 😇

An amazing selection of wigs, hair products, inexpensive make up for when you want something different and exotic. The young lady who worked in the wig section was super nice and I’m very excited to know that I have a cool little shop to go and browse around and spend money in that is just 55 minutes from my home!

Ive always had a positive experience @ this store. The clerks are nice enough. Not overly friendly but nice, which is just fine with me. Every time I go there I buy something.

This is my go to spot for personal beauty supplies.They have a large selection and the store is always in order. I like the fact that they dont eyeball you or follow you around like your trying to steal something.They let me shop in peace!I like to look at their wall of shame for shoplifters lol.

Ghetto hoodrat that stands by the wigs in the back of the store didnt help us at all. Just went in to look for clip in extensions and I basically color matched my mom myself. She was mute throughout the entire time we were there. I dont live around this part of town but I wouldnt waste my gas driving all the back here for nothing.

They have a great variety and were very helpful. I like that they didnt ask me too many questions while I was shopping, but let me approach them when I needed assistance. Will make this my new spot to get product.

Me and my sisters went on 4/23/16 to try on wigs for the first time and the lady in the back i didnt get her name but was so friendly and was very helpful! I am definitely going back!

I have to share this. The selection was nice but what in the world was up with that security guard in the yellow shirt. My Mom and I were in the area and decided to stop at this store. We have been looking for a beauty supply store with a good selection I make special wigs and some of my clients prefer special hair. We are not San Antonians and have been ordering our hair needs offline since we have came here for family. My Mom was just here to visit and was looking for a ready made wig with a part down the middle which is something different for her. We made a special trip to this store by recommendation and it was awkward. That guy was staring us down like we were going to steal something. It was soo uncomfortable. I get it people are sick and steal things but man I will never get over feeling just violated like I was expected to have criminal intentions. It felt ugly. We could take a step with out the googly eyes. Then my Mom overheard him talking about some situation he was in and he told someone he would shoot them. She was freak and immediately wanted to leave. She is a sweet lil timid Christian lady. She was done. I saw some nice wigs and great brands in there. The lady at the wig counter was nice enough. My Mom asked for a suggestion, she gave a simple answer and that was it. Mind you there wasnt anyone else there, she could have gone an extra step. Then maybe that is asking too much for above and beyond customer service. I am not used to the bare minimum but I guess that is the standard here?. We had gone to the other two stores on that strip prior and they cared even less. This is why I gave one extra star.My suggestion: Customer service is everything. Engage everyone regardless every time someone enters. We were greeted with a Militant Macho Older Midget Guard (?) with a gun at the door. Who had a fixed gaze on us as we browsed. Hell I was afraid to touch the price tags or ask a question. Develop a process or a system for the staff to recognize suspect behaviors. From the Cashier to the wig counter lady. Tap the Guard brain. I am pretty sure he can help develop some training or invest in some. I highly recommend. Reach out to a Security consulting firm. No matter the size of a business having tactics and procedure of this types helps everyone and reinforces the responsibility each staff member had to the business. This made us leave and we came prepared to stock up.If you must have a guard. He needs to refine is process. He can be just as friendly and vigilant at the same time. A dishonest person would not know where he was coming from if something happened. I would be more shook if the guard with the smile on his was the one that whooped up on me. Scare tactics are distasteful in business these days and intimidation eventually will be bad for business. I suggest a more psychological approach.At the same time I truly am sorry that this shop has to have this level of security. That makes me sad. Everyone there is probably decent honest folks trying to run a business. Where there is decent people there are weak minded individuals. God bless everyone there. Been coming to this place since I was a student at Williams barber college in 2010 and today the new cashier made me pay full price even after I informed him i was licensed barber. Not to mention 1 of my teachers was in there and asked me if I was still cutting while I was paying and the cashier still didnt believe. Asked for my license like who Carries their 5×7 license on them all the time smh
