I was not allowed to exchange my foundation within 30 days of purchase because I had a digital receipt. They wanted paper, I never got a paper receipt in the first place. I wanted an exchange for the same thing in another color, not even a return!Their solution is I drive another 20-30 minutes out if my way to return it at a different store that’s 40min from my house!!!

Always amazing customer service. Today was a walk-in for a Wow 15min MU look. & yes I was wowed at how incredibly patient and insightful the Artists were with me. Walked out with two new brushes a new lippie & most importantly newfound knowledge of uniquely applying a Smokey eye onto my tiny almond shaped lids. 🥰💋💕 love my MAC

Had a WONDERFUL experience at this location. We were there at basically closing time for a last minute lipstick for my daughter. VICTORIA was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, sweet and attentive! She congratulated my daughter on her upcoming graduation and helped her choose the perfect color! Great customer service from Miss. Victoria ♡

Friendly people and helpful, but disappointed with the fact that they didn’t logged my transactions like La Cantara Mall does. Now I have to email consumer services to get credit of my purchase history. They acted as if they were taking my information as they should have. Spoke to customer service and they were able to resolve the problem. Good thing those people can fix things.

First time with MAC. Always heard and read that stores were rude and mean. Today was the lip stick giveaway so I decided to try. It was a long line but the staff was great. They immediately explained the procedure. As we stood in line they showed us the selection of colors and let us swatch. They even passed out candies throughout the wait. Very organized, friendly and professional all around. Made my first experience with MAC a pleasure. Will go back again.

This was my first time entering a Mac store, but I own several Mac products ( I order online, because I heard like others such terrible things). The employee who helped me wasnt helpful at all, because well I didnt need her help but she insisted on standing there smacking gum in my face, wiping lipstick swatches on my hand, and silently.. awkwardly standing in my area like a sad fruit fly. If she hadnt pestered me as much I would have left with more products, but I should thank her because she saved me from spending money! haha. So Im not mad at her. Anyways, Ill definitely stick to ordering online.

Been using MAC COSMETICS for over 23 yrs. N By far the best eyeliners n lipsticks n eye shadows.

First time my sister and I went into this store, looking for a specific eyeshadow that she wanted to use for her wedding. We waited in what we assumed to be the line since there was no real direction in getting help. Four people working in this tiny little store with MAYBE 5 customers. We waited patiently until we continued to get passed up for help for people looking more money worthy I guess you could say. So we continued to look for said eyeshadow. SECOND TIME we entered this store thinking it would be better, again there was PLENTY of people who were working even though the store was empty we were still not helped as these snoody looking ladies looked down on us. Needless to say I will never spend my money in this MAC store ever again.

As soon as I walked in every employee greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. Found exactly what I was looking for within 5 minutes! Very professional and kind employees. They even all said bye as I was walking out as well, I thought that was nice.

I love me some MAC. I just wish they werent always out stock on certain shadows. The staff is friendly but sometimes I get the one who just doesnt want to be there.

I was at Mac at north star mall and I saw women trying on lipstick samples,but instead of using disposable applicators they were applying directly to their lips.There is something called herpes and this is one of the ways this spreads . Very inconsiderate of women to do this and very unprofessional of employees to leave this unsupervised. Very disappointed in Mac store, this needs to be addressed!

I have read the reviews and saw that there were alot of negative reviews..... sometimes people post negative experiences but not positive...with that being said...I decided to try anyways and I totally enjoyed my visit at the MAC location in North Star Mall!!! The young lady (I wish I knew her name: short blonde hair) was helpful, knew her product, and applied it appropriately.....I was not rushed!! Awesome job...keep up the great work!!

Horrible horrible experience at the Mac store at norstar mall . I have been a Mac member for about 9-10 years Ive loved there make up and spent hundreds even thousands at Mac. I am a devoted customer and maybe to obsessed I amIn that store once a week buying make up . Enerytime Im there you would think by now they would change there ways. No hi or nobody ever trying to help me or other customers . To busy talking to one another . They have bad attitude all the time!!! I even watch there bad customer service to other customers people have even walked out of the store because of there behavior and facial expressions. I mean I go into the store happy and ready to spend some money but how can that be done when there always rude and when you ask for help they act like you bother them . Like do you not want to make this sale? There lazy! Rude! And obviously making so much money they dont need to attend the customers. I was so upset when I entered the store last week in such a good mood to have the two women upfront check me out and eyes were rolled they were very loud and rude to me . I got to the point were Im even thinking about canceling my Mac Pro with them . Enough is enough ! Ive ignored it each and every time. But Mac needs to hire some positive nice hustling employees because the ones they have now suck!! I wont be going to the norstar location any more .. theres so much more to say but just walk into the store youll feel there horrible vibe .. they dont even deserve a 1 star.

I read some the reviews on here before visiting the store, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I was already going to the Sephora location in the mall, why drive accross town when I want to go to both? I was a little scared because it was my first time going into a MAC store, and reading these reviews made it worse. It couldnt have been any better. I went in with a list of what I wanted, the girl said to to give it to her and she would take care of it. One of the the lip pencils I wanted wasnt on the shelves, but since she was restocking, she went through the order and found that they were in one of the boxes. She went through ALL the boxes for the ONE liner I wanted! She was awesome because that was one of the things that I really wanted besides eyeshadows. I dont know if it was new staff, or you caught them on a bad day, but I will definitely be going back.

So disappointing! First off im 34 and never been to a MAC store and Im a California native new here who has never been to the North Star mall. That said the mall is wonderfull. MAC is not. Im just now changing careers and in school for cosmetology. Ive never owned great foundation so this is why i went to MAC yesterday. The help i received was horrible. The makeup he slapped on me two colors one on ech side of my face was crap maybe because he was so disinterested in dealing with me. Me and my friend went to Sephora where ive also never been. Where we spent a large sum of money from taxes. They really took care of me by puttiing on a primer..and other stuff then appling makeup and wrote me a shopping list. I felt like they cared. MAC the guy was like heres the makeup applied it crappy then walked away. Never again I dont care how great people say MAC is and Im a aspiring makeup artist besides just a hairdresser. Never bough MAC and never will.
