I am truly surprised to see so many negative reviews for this location. I popped by earlier today with my boyfriend just to grab some cups of ice cream and was impressed to see so many flavors available. The employee was patient as I asked to sample two of the flavors which I ended up ordering and my boyfriend also tried one. She quickly scooped our ice cream, inquired about topping choices, and helped us check out. We sat down to eat our ice cream and ended up eyeing the cookies & cream stuffed cookie - that’s right.. an oreo stuffed inside of a cookie - YUM. We ordered 4 since they are running a special where if you buy 3, you get 1 free. The place was clean from the counters to the tables and the floors. The staff was friendly & the ice cream was delicious. I had a scoop of coconut & a scoop of amaretto ice cream. My boyfriend had coconut & birthday cake & we both enjoyed it very much. We definitely wouldn’t mind coming back!

Me and my friends came to this place to enjoy some ice cream, we got here at 9:30pm and bought our ice cream. Our friend and her sister arrived 5 minutes later and the doors were locked and they were refused service. On the website it says this location closes at 10:30pm not 9:30pm. I’m not sure where the miscommunication is but you might want to update your website.

Google lied!! I went last night to marble slab with my boyfriend. They have new summer hours. Make sure you call to check time they may still be open!! Soo good love the customer service and samples before actually picking my flavor!! Great customer service great ice cream 🍦 Must go!!!

Have always been a fan of MSC. This store was awesome! Attached with a Great American Cookie too?? What! Yes. The owner was very friendly and helpful with making a choice instead of trying to decide 20 minutes later. Definitely will come back. Thank you! Loved the whiskey ice cream!! Had to bring some home!

My family and I love this location. The customer service is the best. The staff have always been so nice even with our group of 6 being indecisive. Best shop in San Antonio by far

I purchased a cake I had specially made for my mothers birthday and my entire family was thrilled with it. Visually it was beautiful and taste wise we were quite impressed. Highly recommend this location if you need an ice cream cake (get the snickers!)

This location is amazing!!!! It gets very packed on the weekends but the staff is very nice and attentive. The owner/manager is fantastic! He always makes ours and our 4 year olds experience wonderful!!! Oh and the ice cream and cookies are on point!!!

Service was awesome and the ice cream was really good. Had different flavors that you won’t find at your common ice cream stops. It is definitely worth checking out.

First time coming to Marble Slab Creamery and Great American Cookie and it was GREAT! The ice cream was awesome… the sweet cream ice cream was so good! The service was great and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We were a pretty large party and they were very patient with us as we chose what we wanted. Great service and products! The kids love it and me too. Always friendly staff that helps you mix flavors together for a brand new taste (try coconut and dark chocolate or pecan with almonds). Military discount too. Easily the best location around here! An easy A+

It is the most disgusting Marble Slab location. It was super dirty. Cashier’s apron, gloves and Ipad everywhere in the store were gross. I tried to buy quart icecream containers from the refrigerator and all had dirt on the cover. Behind the cashier, they were making ice cream cake and also get the payments with the same gloves. Be careful!

Ice cream was tasty, but for a small you get literally like a gram of ice cream. For $5.00, I expected a little more. The guy also left like a third of it on the slab, a third outside the bowl, and the other third made it into the bowl.

I happened to be working in this shopping center today, and stumbled on this Ice Cream place. I have never had Marble Slab Creamery before. It was delicious! I had a half cinnamon, half amaretto ice cream, topped with dark chocolate chips. The staff is really patient with sampling, and complicated orders. The ladies in front of me, ordered 5 multiple-mix-in blends. Thank you again!

Super stingy with the ice cream. Ive been here 3 times trying to give the location a chance to redeem itself only to be let down each time. The flavors are great but not worth the price considering the small amount you get. I asked for 2 scoops and got whats basically 1. I then asked for 3 and got basically 2. Ill be visiting elsewhere from now on.

We have been buying these cookies for years from many locations and this is by far the prettiest and most delicious cookie cake! I was really impressed by the ladies who helped me when i ordered and picked up the cake. Great service and product.

Was hoping to have a good experience here but unfortunately the comments about cleanliness were accurate. Place was very dirty. The dirty windows and door should have been a sign. About 2/3 of the tables were filthy. Looked a bit understaffed so I think there are things that are neglected. I wouldn’t call the staff friendly. Very direct and not a lot of smiling behind the counter. Would recommend going elsewhere.

My order was incorrect. I requested Birthday cake ice cream and that is not what I received. I was very disappointed.

I wanted a chocolate sundae classic and they had no clue. So I show them the picture on the menu. They had no hot chocolate fudge that was hot. So I said never mind. Opt for a small cone and they had none. Finally got a small cup and praline flavor had no pralines . Will not go back

Awesome place for family

Jeez. People are so critical and get butt-hurt so easily over the wrong thing. This place is fine, yet small, but they have ice cream as advertised. Customer service is good too. This area contains a lot of “accomplished” people anyways, so that says a lot right there. If you don’t know what accomplished means, simply put, snobby nose up in the air and rich. The ice cream here is great quality and the people that work here are nice as well. We will be back! As for the “accomplished” reviewers, go somewhere else if y’all aren’t happy.

Went to grab some ice cream from here today and was pleasantly surprised! The chocolate ice cream tasted amazing and the service was great. The young man and woman behind the counter were very helpful and respectful. Overall a great marble slab. Definitely coming back!

Last two times I have come here they have been out of Vanilla Ice Cream. They were even out of Chocolate the last time too. I wanted a Sundae on a Sundae just had to take my business elsewhere to get it. You would think they would keep their shop stocked better.

My son and I had the best experience when we came in for ice cream around 9:00 tonight. We were greeted and helped by the sweetest young lady who was kind, helpful, and you could tell that she was just happy to be there! In a world full of stress and busy moments it sure was refreshing to see someone take time to show genuine kindness! #kindnessrocks

Great service!! Malik and the rest of the staff showed great Hospitality and gave everyone their full attention! It was super busy but this didn’t dampen their exuberance. Would give 10 stars to all the servers if I could!!! Obviously top notch training and management.

I don’t usually give reviews, but I definitely think everyone should know this. I’ve never been to Marble Slab, so I thought I would try it. Went in & ordered a small Cotton Candy shake. When the shake was given to me it was a little warm but I thought maybe it was just the mixer that made it that way. Payed & left. Before I even made it out of the shopping center I had to pull over because I thought I was going to vomit. Which is exactly what I did. Throw up my entire shake. It seemed like the milk was a old & the ice cream had been sitting out for more than an hour. I’m never going back.

Went there to have a strawberry mango smoothie but they didnt serve those at this one. I got a coffee shake instead and Im so glad I did. It was a scrumptious surprise✨

Extremely tasty ice cream!! But I now realize I can buy a whole half gallon of another brand—for the same price!!!

I’ve been here a couple times. People are normally pretty friendly/accommodating. (I never go to the cold stone creamery side) Anyway,this last time I got 4 domino cookies. All which were hard as rocks when I got home. Super disappointed as it’s my favorite cookie and the reason I go. (the last time I went they didn’t have them at all!) Also always very disorganized/messy looking but it’s close to my apartment and stays open late so it’s convenient.

Walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile! This staff obviously cares about their image and the ice cream was so delicious. ALL toppings are free but I added a cookie, that was not for free, but it was still so very delicious!

The employees are great.The ice cream is mediocre at best -- it turns to soup as soon as its in your cup. Theyre always out of something. For example, no lids for a bowl size, out of a particular mixing, and etc.

People have a nasty disposition about their self and attitude towards colored people

Wanted a smoothie, machine was broken. Wanted a regular size soda, only had a large. Didn’t mind since she charged me for a regular size. Wanted Dr.pepper, they were out. Needless to say, just wasn’t my day lol. The staff was very friendly though and my son enjoyed his ice cream.

Took my family here last night. Ordered one of their designer ice cream mixes in a cone. The girl helping me and my family gave it to me in a cup instead of a cone. I asked for two scoops and it looked like one large scoop in a small cup. It was already well on its way to melting as well. I told the girl I had ordered a cone. She apologized and literally just moved the ice cream from the cup to a cone. She gave me the wrong cone but I didnt notice immediately because the cone only had enough ice cream in it to fill the cone up to the bottom of the opening of the cone. The upper 3rd of the cone had no ice cream. I was going to eat half the cone before I got to the ice cream. I looked at her, looked at the pictures of ice cream cones all over the display case (showing a huge dollop of ice cream overflowing the top of the cone), looked at my cone, then asked her if this was two scoops of ice cream. She just said yes and kept looking at me. I wont be back. We usually go to the Marble Slab off 1604 near Academy. Never had any issues there after multiple visits.

A girl slipped and fell on the floor. Got up and laughed continued making my coffee shake without washing her hands. My shake looked nothing like the one pictured on the wall, didnt taste coffee flavor either.

The cool mint ice cream was really flavorful today, the location is pretty accessable, considering all tthe road construction going on with 281 right now, and theirs plenty of parking. The service was a little slow, disorganized, today for some reason and the low-fat selection was slim at best.

The kids that work there dont keep the place very clean. One of the freezers was not working and some of the flavors of ice cream were not available. Hardly any of the cookies were available.

The guys working are so adorable and helpful!! Wonderful experience.

This marble slab sucks! Go to the one on bitters! They went cheap on every thing...for cookie dough they have the cheap nasty little balls like at DQ instead of real cookie dough. They dont have the chocolate Swiss ice cream they have a nasty chocolate. Strawberrys are sour and frozen...drive 5 mins down the road for real marble slab!

I asked for mint chocolate chip and they gave me more dark chocolate than in a chocolate bar. The server was in a very sad mood compared to other places.

Very disappointed,,, My boyfriend and I are on a very strict diet, and decided to cheat just one time and have a banana split.Well as we rush in to indulge our craving, the guy at the register informs us that they ran out of bananas. We were extremely disappointed . This happened at the location on Broadway a couple of weeks ago as well. We will indulge our craving elsewhere from now on.

They are rated as one star only because I can’t leave zero stars. We had a party of six and I must say the service was terrible. $25 dollars later I will never return.
