Taking pictures of kids when they’re not ready making students super insecure about their picture which the whole school would see. Terrible photographer (s) and just overall seem like their goal in photography is to make students feel insecure.

Were given photos today of my childs cheer photos, and says have to pay a late fee because the date was August, 2021. Not my first run in. Ive loved their photos with both children, so Im not sure whats going on

They printed my order incorrectly and refused to take ownership over an unfulfilled 8x 10 photo. This shows their pitiful level of customer service. They’re willing to offer poor customer service over something that costs them less than $2.. what a shame. I’ll be giving my money to fundraisers that actually serve a good cause next time ;)

Bill miller has been a great part of my family as well as my childhood. Their pictures are amazing and well priced. Absolutely love the styles, and friendly photographers who work well with the children. Plus they are based in my hometown bring ngs back so many good memories as a child

I just received the packet to order Spring photos for my son who is in kindergarten. I am disgusted by the fact they even printed this out and if anyone saw this picture and made fun of my son. His eyes are barely open and they look crossed. The person who took this photo obviously saw this and did not take the time to snap another photo. Completely unprofessional.

They have done my daughters pictures from school for two years now. The quality is good. Eye to detail could be a little better, but with the time constraints and mass number of kids they have to do I can see how that would be an issue.

I ordered dog tags at the beginning of football season with my daughters picture on it of her in her drum major uniform. Hoping to get to wear them to the football games. Im still waiting. I called and was told that a separate company handles that stuff and they would check into it. They told me this twice. I really wish they would just refund my money back.

Unorganized, forgot to put the card in the camera to save the pictures, students had to waste another day to have pictures redone. Girls had to pay to get hair and makeup done for a second time. Do not use.

If I could give them zero I would. My daughter had photos taken for her senior year. I contacted them via text message, the number I was given and had zero response. Weeks later I received and email with the link to her photos and I was mortified. The photos seemed unnatural and rushed. My daughters neck look twisted to the point that her neck cords were bulging out. Some had her with angles that were off and made her eyes look abnormal. Then the photographer took photos of her looking off and told her to not smile and they look like she is mid blink and expressionless. When I asked if they can be retaken they said “sorry about the inconvenience”. So now I am paying another fee to have them retaken. Very unprofessional and rushed. These photos are forever photos and they need more attention not to mention better lighting. Also, they need to give you some sort of date on when to expect anything. And maybe, I don’t know answer their phones. I will not be using them for my other two children.

Wish I could give zero stars. One time I bought pictures they took for Loxley Elementary and they were fantastic. Every other time my girls have had them taken at this school they have been awful. The background is off and they stand weird. But mostly could you at least let them straighten their hair before taking the dang picture. These last ones took the cake. Ill never buy another. I take great pictures of my own for free!

Just received a black and white of my daughters class picture. Not just her but three other students were placed where you can barely see them!!! All you can see of them is a shoulder, half a mouth, nose and up when there is clearly pace for them to step over just a bit and all can be seen. Horrible work! Parts of the group is hugely spaced out while others are extremely close! Cant wait to see how wonderful the individual pictures are🙄🤦

I took my daughter to have her Senior Portraits taken. Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly. The business is very family oriented. Bill Miller Jr and his Mother were there walking around and talking to everyone making sure everyone was having an enjoyable experience. The photographers were professional and persononable. My daughter felt very comfortable with them.

A business run by stupid and unknowledgeable people. Would only recommend to an enemy.Bought a $30 school picture package in September. The check bounced. Instead of calling the number or writing to the address written on the check, they conducted a nationwide manhunt to track me down, going so far as to issue a warrant for my arrest. The address - which is printed on the checks - was something that they apparently could not find. They sent notices to each of my past four residences trying to collect, but those were returned, because of course they were.The arrest warrant finally caught up to me today. I called to clear it up, and the late fees made the final sticker price $240. Id consider small claims court, but that would be a further waste of my time. Do not give these awful people your money.

They did school pictures for my kids. They turned out horrible, they had one of my boys stand in a weird way. Tried to call the business during business hours and they are already closed 1 hr before they should be. These guys are bad. Maybe they should focus on better customer service and better photographers.

I just called Bill Miller Photographers, 254 Miller Road, Ohatchee, AL 36271, regarding a question I had about a photo package that we just received of my granddaughters elementary school pictures.I was met with answers that were excruciatingly rude and condescending. Of course, the reality is that the customer is Providence Elementary School and not the parents/grandparents so there is no hope for an individual to get a positive response. My only choice is to write this review and hope that there will be improvements to next years order.

This place was beautiful. The photographers were great and took their time.

It looks like Bill Miller Photogrraphers are for quantity not for the quality. The photographer who took school pictures this year at my daughters school most likely was unprofessional, because the class pictures and individual pictures turned out terrible, very dark, blurry, childrens faces were greenish pail. When I call to complain, the customer service person told me that there is nothing wrong with the picture. That made me very disappointed, because this is completely unprofessional. I can tell the difference between real quality and fake quality which they are trying force us to accept. And many people will continue to buy bad quality pictures, because they do not have time to deal with all of that and want to keep memories of their children growing. It is really sad that we have to deal with unprofessionalism and bad quality.

They took my cousins high school 🎓 photos and they were nice.

Difficult to find if you’re not familiar with Ohatchee, but if you get lost, chances are you will be helped by very nice people. Once at the studio, you’ll enjoy top-notch indoor photography and kindness from the staff! We love this place!

I have read many bad reviews, but my experience has been great! On one package I purchased my sons name was spelled wrong. I had no problem contacting them. The staff was very nice & courteous, printed my new photos correcting the mistake, and mailed them directly to my home.

Bill Miller was contacted in February 2017 to reserve today’s date to guarantee that our students would have ample time and notification to prepare for their pictures. The agreement was the same as all years prior, students would be able to take a formal/drape picture as well as a casual attire picture with a $10 sitting fee. Once students arrived, the photographers stated that they would not be able to fulfill their agreement. They were not overly concerned with correcting this issue and even though they acknowledged that it was a mistake on the part of Bill Miller, they lacked empathy stating several times that they were “just photographers”. One of the photographers also made condescending statements about Central being their “favorite school”. The customer service line was unavailable and many students were left frustrated with what will become their first senior moment.

Dont waste your money, twice my kids brought home school pictures with their EYES CLOSED! Do you guys not look at the picture after you take it to make sure, or are you just too lazy to snap another picture? Very sloppy work.

Please parents listen to me. I just received my daughters senior portraits, and the order was wrong. I called them to ask about it, and they told me it was my fault. I’m not sure how that happens when I went to the school and the lady filled the paper out for me, gave me a total, and took my money. The frame that I chose was clearly marked. They told me that I wasn’t charged for it and if I wanted it then I would have to send them $55 more dollars. Please tell me how this was my fault? It was marked and I paid cash for the pics. I’m not happy at all. So please look over your order, it doesn’t matter that it clearly states what you want they are ok with taking your money and not giving you what you pay for.

Couldnt believe that the photographer would let my child have pictures taken with hair a total mess. Atleast they could have told her to run her fingers through it to straighten it some. She looked like a homeless child in the picture. Very unprofessional

I thought you were professionals .. . How could you not see the glare on a students face when taking the picture?!?! I was so excited to get the proofs back but very disappointed he has to have retakes. Then when I call your office to make sure I dont have to pay the sitting fee again the staff is just RUDE. I think the schools needs to rethink who they use for pictures.Also you offer a package for football pictures for the high school but for middle school you only offer $30.00 package, a Team picture or and 2 buttons really?!?

They didnt even send me what was clearly marked and ordered on my envelopes. It wasnt rocket science. And now I cant even get anybody to answer the phone so they can just simply fix it. I only spent about $100 for the pictures of my daughters. I wanted to try to get a disc, but couldnt call beforehand to request it that way. I was fine without it and fine spending the money, until I got the pictures back and didnt get what I ordered. And really, the pictures arent even that good anyway. But all I want is what I was supposed to get.

I have dealt with this company several times and didnt have issues until my sons senior year. I wanted his name and year on his pictures which I didnt get. They did refund the money I paid for the year and name. Then I paid for his picture receiving his diploma. The picture was good accept the other student standing in the picture beside him. The lady said well they run them through so fast. We do the best we can I said you cant crop the picture and get the other kid out she said well you didnt pay alot for the picture. Excuse me you call yourselves professionals. Feeling very aggravated.

Terrible customer service! My child tried to complete her order form by her self- and lost the portion that has all the package amounts on it. So I clipped a note on it saying what I wanted with a BLANK check- and they MAILED it back- not called. and did so without the amounts on it AGAIN!! When you call the number - you cant leave a message- there is NO listing of package amounts on their website. I truly have no idea how you are supposed to get in touch with these people!

This place beats all I have ever known! They didnt hesitate to cash my check on 11/14/17 for fall pics; however, here it is 12/19/17 and I still have not received the disc containing my childs photos. I have called their phone number more than a dozen times today, only to get a voicemail that states their business hours and tell me to call back later. No way to leave a message. No wonder they have a 1-star rating on google and Facebook! Doesnt seem like they read their review posts, or maybe they just dont care. So much for giving my family pictures for Christmas!

So I just received a mailing from the photography studio who did senior portraits, giving me another opportunity to order. This is the first time Ive seen the photo, and they VERY OBVIOUSLY PHOTOSHOPPED her. All images are professionally retouched at NO CHARGE they say. Screw you, Bill Miller Photographers, for making already insecure, self-conscious high-schoolers feel like they arent good enough to be in the yearbook as they truly appear. Im so disgusted right now. Theres no way in hell Im spending that kind of money with a company that does this. I want photos of my child to look like MY CHILD. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her appearance. If there is a demand for this option, make it just that, AN OPTION. The cheapest package is $150 at that. What a joke.

This is a horrible company and the school should look into finding a better company I paid for my children pictures at the beginning of may and never received the pictures but the company cashed my checks and now they will not answer the phone I have made several attempts with no luck to request the pictures or either a refund this had became unbelievable and I will never purchase pictures again from the school

Cant get these idiots on the phone. Ordered pictures of my sons kindergarten photos, baught the largest package & his name is spelt incorrect on every picture. I even corrected it before ordering ! These people SUCK & Ill make sure everyone in Tuscaloosa County knows. I will also be going to the board of education to make sure our schools dont use this idiot anymore !
