Staff is totally awesome attentive I came in with five boxes of CDs which staff carried in for me they went through over 600 CDs within hours this is a process and staff was still smiling when I left top dollar for the movies very pleased..

Cool place for mucic cds

Went to the Cd Exchange in Bandera and I got anime and they were cheap. Went to the Cd Exchange in Colonnade had the same anime and some different ones and they were all high priced. Who decides on the prices? Im sticking to the Cd Exchange in Bandera, Thank you very much.

Decent shopping experience, but at least offer semi price matching with other retailers. A used movie shouldnt cost more than a brand new item from best buy or even walmart.

AMAZING, AMAZING selection of everything! I immediately found the things I was looking for today. And the employees were so cool. I had a nice chat with one of them about one of my favorite franchises. If Im ever in the area I will have to stop by again!

College girl running the place is sassy, condescending, sounds full of herself, and not very bright demanding masks claiming that the store will still require masks even after the lockdowns. I cant imagine you do a lot of business and now Ill be purchasing my older video games elsewhere.

This, like the CD itself, is almost an antique.Now, thousand of complete albums can be on a tiny SD card.Millions on other media.And this is usually downloaded.Or satellite, or even radio!Now, streaming is common.Like the payphones, newspapers, OTA television.GONE!Replaced.But vinyl is coming back.Just not quite portable.

You find some rare items but they are severely overpriced they need to get with. Best Buy, Target and Barnes and Noble offer the same DVDs, Blu Rays for less and Brand New. Buyers update your pricing. But in all they offer some cool stuff.

WOW! I live in Austin and I will GLADLY make a trip out here to shop! Tim, the man who runs it is a solid, stand-up guy and the rest of the staff is very helpful. I have done business with many stores such as these and unlike what youve read elsewhere, they are an HONEST establishment with fair prices. On top of that, they are the ONLY store in the country with a big selection of Rock Candy releases and they dont charge an arm and a leg for it!!! THIS IS THE BEST PLACE IN SAN ANTONIO FOR MUSIC PEOPLE!!!!! NO QUESTION!!!!!

Fantastic place to pick up music and movies. It seems like a small place but they have a ton of stuff to chose from. I go there at least once a month and walk out with an arm full of movies. Anything from old classics to new-ish movies on blue ray.

Nice stuff, good prices on most items. Great variety, movies CDs games vinyl etc. Look out for the rare items that have competitive prices.

If youre trying to find some good movies come to this place they have great deals and a bunch of movies. There are multiple location. The staff is friendly and if you have a question they will usually have the answer. They got the 15 day return if the movie isnt working properly. All my movies are from here. They also have new movies

I had an issue with a DVD, they told me I would have to pay. Alright. The way the world works. But when I brought the DVD in question in and had them see it, they agreed that the DVD was flawed. Replaced it at no cost. These are wonderful people. No complains and everything but compliments!

We really need places like this CD exchange to stay around as long as possible... These guys in store were so nice and chill, I needed a old Xbox game resurfaced. While I roamed around looking for a movie title I never felt watched or being judge while my disc was being fixed. After my game was ready and even after I asked for a movie lookup, the worker didnt charge for the resurfaced disc.. the game works again and I could not be more grateful. I really recommend going into this CD exchange and giving these guys a visit. We as a society need that human interaction of going somewhere and talking to someone live, so I feel the need to put out this review with the rise of streaming and downloads. Please help keep places like this alive.

Good place to buy ALL kinds of media, man they got everything! Also a good place to sell anything media you dont want anymore. The staff at s always friendly and easy to talk to, and it usually doesnt take long to find what you want!

Selection is very good for classic rock on cd or vinyl; they are growing quite a bit on the vinyl side. Always come here to browse and always find something used or new. Service is great.

Very good place! I always call in advanced for a specific movie and they hold it for me. Very pleased.

Usually love this place but today the old man with long hair seemed to not have time to deal with what I wanted to sell and wanted me to carry it around the store while I wait 25 min for him to finish the person ahead of me. I didnt mind waiting but he wouldnt take my Id or my DVDs so Im not even in line to be next, Im just sitting in my car hoping I can sell something today.

Always have what I am looking for and if they dont, they find it for me and without charging me a finders fee. Always friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable and the staff is Great. I have bought half my collection of DVDs from them and still adding on. plus they have a pretty good selection of vinyl and CDs to those who still use CDs..

For used EVERYTHING, theres barely anything which isnt priced (overpriced) darn near as a new product. You really have to search for a bargain buy.

I feel that I was shorten off my box sets & blue ray/dvd sets. The person in the evening had better offers.

They have a good selection of things here I walked in one day and they had like six different things that I previously wanted on sale here. I was thinking to my self like what they have this!? And it’s on sale!!! Bet!

Definitely one of the better looking CD exchanges in San Antonio, the staff member that serviced me was very patient. Especially because I payed $8.60 all in dimes. He also saw that the case on the CD i purchased was broken and offered me a new one at no extra cost. I wish this store was closer to my house.

Found the series I wanted at a very reasonable price.

Clerks advised that I look through the piles of movies instead of assisting because it was an old inventory item.

Terrible customer service they sold me a broken Xbox controller and after I clarified before purchasing if I could get my money back because it was not in a box I was skeptical the young man said “yea no problem” and of course it was broken and there solution is in store credit as if I would want to buy 40$ worth of DVD’s terrible manager Tim shame on you never coming back and recommend just buy dvds online!!!!!!

This store is great. Love the staff here as well. they are friendly and very knowlegable about music and movies. And this particular location seems to get more of the newer movies as well. I usually go in on tuesdays and fridays because it seems like thats when they get new stuff the most

The worst cd exchange in san antonio by far. They have no idea how to price music. Especially the more obscure items they have. They find the highest listed price of an item on amazon and sell it for that instead of finding the average going rate. They should be using discogs to price their music instead of amazon. Every legitimate record store i have been to uses discogs for pricing. Also the older man with gray hair told me they were selling The kids in the Hall complete collection for well over what it is going for on the interent. I asked him why he thought it was ok to charge that much for it and he said because thats what it is going for on amazon. I searched and found it New on amazon for a third of what he was charging for a used version. I showed him on my phone that it was going for way cheaper than what he was charging but he did not care. Moral of the story. Anything they are selling can be purchased online or from a serious record/cd shop for much cheaper. Dont waste your money at this subpar establishment.
