I hate to say it, but this place could use some love. Prices are amazing on SOME products, but others are less expensive at off base grocery stores.Veggies are hit or miss and the selection could be better.Tons of cereal and AMAZING deals on them most of the time.Staff is very nice.

Such great prices here! Usually not packed here. Look for the coupons at entry and near the items you want to buy! I save so much with their coupons and great prices.

Love the service I receive from the employees. So ready to help. I watched the self checkout clerk help an elderly man with us purchase and placing his bag in his cart. Never once did she show signed of impatience. And when my turn came she chit chatted and helped me with the screen a couple of times. Such a thoughtful woman sorry I didnt get her name.

Doing the inventory was not bad. Clean place with friendly staff.

There is a wide array of choices. They have a cute little bakery section that also serves fresh sushi. The prices are decent, but Walmart is definitely better price wise. The lines here are usually pretty long, and so it takes a while to get in and out.The employees are all so kind and respectful! They always help me find exactly what I’m looking for. They even help me find coupons before I purchase!The facility is clean and well kept. The shelves get a bit bare and the selection isn’t as bountiful as I would like, but it’s very convenient since I can’t leave base during training due to COVID.

On the smaller side but still pretty decent selection but the order or placement of products in the middle isles makes absolutely no sense

Great prices on everything compared to other local grocery stores. Meats last longer and most of the fresh vegetables are just as good as you can get anywhere else. Always slow to checkout though. Never seems to have enough registers open for the number of customers in the store. Still faster than some major grocery chains. Occasionally cannot find items common to other grocery chains.

Good as always. They just installed modern checkout terminals throughout. Some areas are lacking in products but overall well stocked. Some items have a maximum quantity like water and T-Paper. But only during shortages like early pandemic phase, polar freeze.

So many elder Veterans and Families members there also the Media staff, News paper Aditors...I went to my Husbands grave yard on Memorial day 💓 at 8:30am.The service was at 9am.Return back home at 12 noon...

Took my friend there today. Store was clean including restrooms. Baggers and carryout were great.

This place is always sold out of salad bowls. Just order more, its really that simple! Obviously the demand is higher than what you have on the shelfs. Dont you see that its empty daily?? Seriously whos running this place!? Same issue with a few other items (coffee creamer, vitamin water) and Im sure others that I just dont shop.. the manager should have a look at the shelfs. Its annoying and unnecessary

Very well kept and a good variety of products. All staff was very polite and helpful.

Its a nice place with plenty of options. Its nice for the students to have food in their rooms for snacks and meals and such. The sushi is amazing. I get it all the time.

Biggest issue is self-checkout experience. Produce does not scan properly, bagging area consistently flags-incorrectly-that you have not bagged your item or bagged the wrong item. Lots of time wasted...

Great service, great selection, I normally have a hard time when I buy groceries because I try to make the most healthy choices, and this place has everything flr any lifestyle you have, if you are vegetarian they got you, or if you arent they have think lf everyone. Clean, freash, polite and friendly staff. The only reason I dlnt gove them 5 stars kts because I wish their produce was more organic.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. Of all the commissaries Ive visited this one falls subpar. Its small and customer service is one of the major lacking points for me. Major turnoff between the frontline staff and management. Also produce selection there...just dont do it. You can find items here at a value price (not much cheaper than HEB and largely overpriced for some). Meat selection is cheap and plentiful but I dont go there much despite living close by beyond it working for me in a pinch.

Adequate military grocery style store. The more popular items are almost always out of stock. Does not compare with the commissary at Lackland AFB for example.

Its cheap but not that much cheaper than heb.

Been out of distilled water for three weeks. No Hungry Jack pancake mix for months. No child with beans. Always out out items.

I shop exclusively at this commissary!Stocked products are comparable to civilian stores!I think prices here are much too high for the lower grade, enlisted, but I question overall prices!Efficiency in stocking so that there is no outage, is unnecessarily in question!!!

Great meat prices and always fresh.

Be very careful of expiration dates on your products. Numerous occasions where Ive purchased items and discovered later that the item had a use by date that in some cases expired weeks before I purchased it.

I find that the prices are great compared to anywhere else and the associates are kind here, as well.

Clean and well stocked.Although they had none of my choice energy drinks. This was the 1st time they were out.Cashier and bagger were friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, many shelves and coolers were like the proverbial Mother Hubbards cupboard, sadly, quite bare. But the store was clean and employees helpful. The social distancing was followed as much as possible. I appreciate those who have continued working thru the virus. Be well and stay sanitized.

Much larger selection than rafb commissary, they also tend to restock faster as well.

Great selection of items. The cost is a bit high on various items. Good deals are to be had and the customer service is great. One vendor almost ran me over with his cart to get to the shelves to restock; I thought he was in a rush to get to the next location...well that was incorrect, the rush was to get to one of the young ladies changing prices. It is convenient to shop and get everything in one location.

Now that things have somewhat calmed down things are better at the commissary. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and respectful. Prices have gone up but thats due to the pandemic. Still a better value for your dollar.

To my fellow veterans who are Commissary eligible, the Commissary is a great place to get many of your cleaning supplies and laundry supplies at lower costs than most competitors. Food prices will vary but you will save money. Best time to shop is first thing in the morning. Ample parking and nice staff. Save yourself some money and shop with the Commissary.

I went to get a few things after work. There was not many people there. It was an hour and a half till they closed.I found what I needed quickly as I could move freely from aisle to aisle. There was only one register open a d they were switching cashiers and that caused a short delay. Overall I would say a great experience. I was in and out.

Hard to blame the commissary for being so limited on meat selection during this pandemic, but also difficult to give 5 stars when that wasnt the only issue. Self checkout devices are in serious need of upgrades, the teller helping customers is wearing holes in their shoes daily for sure. The scanners are so glitchy its like every other item or more they need to override/reset/or whatever magic they perform to get it going again. I still enjoy my experience there & sprinkle a trip in with closer local grocery stores to keep myself entertained.

On my usual q two week shopping trip today was able to obtain most everything I needed, except for toilet paper and my preferred laundry detergent for sensitive skin. Also, meat counters and refrigerator units were absolutely bare except for a packaged hams and corned beef briskets. For a house that needs chicken, turkey and lean beef, not a good thing.

Love being able to shop here! Shopping trips are always way cheaper when we go here.

It wasnt crowded when I went. I was able to find everything I needed. I Used the self check out register. Friendly staff as always.

I was looking for an item and I have to call out that a few individuals went above and beyond searching the whole store and checking with folks around every department to check for this product.Clarence, Autumn, Andre, and Toni were very helpful, friendly, and funny as we walked through the store checking for the item I was looking for. Awesome group of folks.

Severe shortage of cashiers. Lines to check out were very long at 4:30 pm.

Decent prices on some, lackluster produce no tax, and all the refrigerated items are sweating. The cuts of meat look like a 4 year old buthered them, not many thick cuts. No tax helps. IMO close the stateside commissaries, reinvest in the overseas ones, everyone can goto HEB or Costco.

Shopped for a few items. Commissary floor is labeled for proper distancing re: Covid-19. In & out in no time.

The employees are very curteous. 20 % of the shelves are not stocked including the meat freezer. The baggers need to get basic training on how to place food in the bags.

1st visit. Stood in the self-checkout line for 5-10 minutes without moving except for those leaving and going to other lines. Something needs to be corrected with that. Never stood in the self-checkout that long at Ramstein without moving over there.

Plenty of grocery selections for authorized patrons at a competitive price.

Great people but keeping the placed stocked is something else. Appears to be an issue with all Defense Military Commissaries.

It was clean & the employees were very friendly. Some things were a little more than other stores but you are getting name brand instead of store generics. Overall, our bill was a little less than local stores. Love it here & will shop here more often.

LOVE grocery shopping here. Less people than HEB although weekends before the pandemic and paydays get packed...so if you can...definitely avoid paydays lol.

It has a good selection and variety of foods, friendly staff. And they really try to keep things clean and straight on the shelves. Only down side is that their isnt many cashiers so the lines tend to get long.
