For those rare faucet and shower parts you cant beat Ajax. Theyve been there like forever. As soon as they see the part you bring in the staff know the brand and have them in stock. The prices are competitive and sometimes beat the big box stores.

This company hires people that are not license and doesnt even pullout permits when necessary.Also installs used parts that are no goodand then doesn’t warranty it for that matter.Next time ask for the persons license to make sure you are getting a license plumber and not just anyone from under the bridge on commerce st. They’re real good at sweet talkin the customers because they work off commission meaning more money to they’re pockets.Don’t recommend this junk to no one.

Hired company to fix tub faucet pressure. Water was coming out in weird not strong stream. Replaced a part and charged $200 for 30 minutes of work. Did not succeed in fixing the problem. I complained and he came out only to tell me this kind of faucet will not have as good a stream as my other bathtub. Could have told me that before taking my money. Money wasted. Would not hire again.

I was very pleased with my experience with Ajax from booking to finish. Our water heater went out, so we had no hot water; not an emergency, but a major inconvenience that you would like to have rectified quickly and easily. I booked an appointment for the next day, and when the guys came out, they were very polite and professional and SUPER fast. I had my new water heater and updated fixtures installed in less than 2 hours. It wasnt cheap but seemed in the ball park, and having hot water back on that fast combined with a really great experience seemed worth it to me. Ill call them again for my plumbing needs in the future.

They have done plumbing work on our house twice. The last time they repaired a leak outside the house that was about 4 feet deep and replaced a outside faucet. The only thing I had issues is that I wish the faucet was more stable.

This company was awesome from the second they answered the phone. I called them after reading the glowing reviews on Home Advisor. I called them late on Tuesday and Brenda and Tim were great with answering my questions and giving me a fair and reasonable quote over the phone. They had a technician at my house by 1 the next day which happened to be right before a major holiday. Tino and his coworker were great. Very professional and courteous. They explained everything and answered all of my questions. Within a couple of hours, I had a brand new hot water professionally installed by a company I can trust. So I scheduled an appointment to get my drain unclogged for Monday and they called the Friday before saying they could send a guy out Saturday. They came as scheduled gave me a quote for the work. He apparently didn’t have the right tool so he went to get it, got set up and 5 minutes later he was packed up and leaving. Said his machine was broken and I should call another company to do the work. Wasted my Saturday morning. Very unprofessional

My brother went to your store to buy an item that cost 8 dollars a few days ago and someone in your store ramped the price to $65.00. Very shameful to hear that such shameful business is happening in your store.After he left the store without the part he needed for someone in need. A person at the job site pulled up from nowwhere an asked to see if they needed any assistance and low and behold the random individual had the exact part deep in his miscellaneous bag of left overparts and gave it to him for free. These guys gouged me close to $600 for changing one pipe next to the house (exterior) and the creation of one hole under the kitchen sink- no repair made. Promised to come the following Tuesday and completely disappeared. Avoid if possible, they are bad news. Never answered the phone or returned calls. No stars if possible.

This was my first time using Ajax Plumbing Service and it could not have gone better. A Flume device I’d installed a year ago alerted me to a gallon a minute leak. After looking inside and out and finding nothing to indicate the definite source of the leak, I sought the name of a reliable plumber, this after having had very costly bills from a firm I had used several times in the past. From the initial call with Brenda at Ajax to the successful repair by Will, I felt that I was in good hands. What initially seemed like it might be a leaking connection beneath the laundry room turned into a broken connection a foot or so beneath the surface along the house. Will worked on it for several hours and even through lunch, not content to quit without solving the problem.Will was polite, considerate and kept me informed throughout. He did a masterful job. Ajax now has another satisfied customer, one who will be sure to let others know that Ajax is the place to call with plumbing needs.

This crew was the only one available same-day. They showed up in short order, looked at the problem, and went right to work. Really nice guys, efficient and had the job done quickly. And they cleaned up afterwards.

The repair service went better than I expected. I developed a water leak at 5 pm the day before and had shut off the water to the house at the street. I called several companies that evening and received no response. Not knowing what to expect the next morning, I received a call from Tim at Ajax Plumbing Co. He gave me an estimate of their starting price and it seemed reasonable, so I made the appointment. Within twenty minutes, Tino and Ricky pulled up as I was digging in the ground. After locating the leak, Tino offered me a very fair price for the repair and they began. He explained the cause of the leak was due to the sharp 45 degree angle connecting two pipes being stressed by the surrounding tree roots. I could tell he was very knowledgeable as he did not just replace the leaking part with another 45 degree angle. By utilizing two 45 degree angles and a piece of straight pipe, he was able to make the connection with much less stress on the pipes. Both men are very experienced and pleasant to work with. They filled in the hole and even cleaned up the mud on the sidewalk left by the homeowner. Tino and Ricky are outstanding members of Ajax Plumbing Co. I would recommend them and Ajax Plumbing for any future plumbing problems.

Service techs very helpful and explained everything clearly. Work was done quickly and I was not left with a mess.

Date of service was 8-21-20. The issue was a toilet clog. Although their customer service was excellent, my experience with the work and diagnosis from the service person they assigned was not. After their service person came in to run a drain auger without success, he diagnosed the issue to be roots in the drain, and that we would have to have their specialists dig underneath our home to replace the pipes at a cost of $3K+. Since this was an unexpected cost, we decided to get additional bids and thank god we did. As it turns out, the next company did a thorough inspection (with a camera) and was able to fix the issue via a hydroscrub, for a bit more than we had been charged by AJAX to run the auger. For this reason I called AJAX back to let them know what happened. For customer service, I would give AJAX a 5.0, because their Manager/Owner (Noah) called me back, listened to my complaint, apologized and was willing to refund the money we paid. He recognized his service person was wrong. All I can recommend to anyone out there is to always get a second opinion and to do your thorough diligence and research.

Contacted Ajax Plumbing and spoke to Tim on Friday 19 Feb about our busted water pipe. He sent Tino to us at 12pm the next day (Saturday 20 Feb). Tim called ahead as promised to let us know that Tino was on the way to our home. Tino did a great job, quickly discovering the break in our cold water copper supply line, explaining what was needed, and making the repair. Took about an hour from time of arrival to completion. I called to get a quote on adding just an expansion tank, was told it would be 250. As soon as the plumber arrived, he immediately starting tell me additional work I needed, which I didn’t ask for or want. He then proceeded to argue with me about my inspection report and how I could get sued if I didn’t fix everything on it. Once I told him I was a licensed realtor and I wasn’t paying for that and knew the law he backed off. 10 mins later he was done with the expansion tank and asked for 350. He explained it needed some additional things so we settled on 300 but I still felt ripped off.Fast forward a few days later, the hot water in the kitchen sink wasn’t coming on, then my wife told me the plumber made her turn it on to flush the line when he was doing the expansion tank. It was clear something (later found out it was plumbers putty) from the expansion tank clogged the line to the kitchen sink. The office was extremely professional and nice and sent a guy to fix it. Different guy and within 30 seconds of walking into my home he proceeded to tell me other things I needed to do to get my house up to code. After arguing again about the real estate laws I know, we moved onto the sink. He noticed hot water wasn’t coming on and said I needed to replace the entire faucet set and he would have to charge me! I said your plumber caused this and he replied no he didn’t, things happen randomly all the time...it literally happened at the exact moment he told me wife to turn the hot water on. All that being said, after arguing that I wasn’t going to pay for anything he told me the problem was the cartridge and it was very difficult to find so bc of that I needed a new entire set. So he left without fixing the problem they caused. Later that day I took apart the hoses connecting the sink and wow, full of plumbers putty from the expansion tank, cleaned it out, hot water problem solved.It’s a long winded review but as a realtor and consumer, I would never recommend this company, they have high pressure sales tactics trying to make up fake rules and laws to get you to do work that is not needed. Move onto other must trustworthy companies.

Ajax Plumbing Service and Supply is an extremely professional amazing plumbing service provider. They are more reasonably priced than many other plumbing service providers that I received estimates from. They came out and gave me an estimate, and did not charge. They returned, fixed, and replaced my bathtub faucet. They did an excellent job. At the same time, they replaced my outside front hose bibb. Later they inspected and drained my hot water heater for an extremely reasonable price. These people are honest, professional, and I trust them. That is saying a lot coming from an experienced cynic. I highly recommend this business without any reservations.

Great customer interaction with Tino and his helper. Same day service from quote and cost was reasonable for the job. Tub/shower conversion to a stand-up shower. Done within half day. Left the area clean and free of cement dust from excavating the shower floor to move the drain to the center. I did notice after Tino left that there was cement all over the top of the PCV drain fixture that comes apart for the waterproof membrane to seat. He assured me it was no problem, but my tiler disagreed. I noticed after plumber left that the drain seemed to be set a bit too low and was not entirely level. Called my tiler who came over immediately after I sent a photo of the drain installation and he dug it out from the still wet cement and raised it somewhat higher and leveled it. This type of plumbing really needs to be done in tandem with the person doing the tile work because every contractor does things a little differently. Great experience though with Ajax and I recommend them highly.
