My tech was awesome. He fixed the issue super quick. He answered all my questions and gave me good tips on caring for our hot tub. I would call this tech out anytime!The gentleman scheduling our service was not very professional and almost rude. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for his lack courtesy.
Bought a hot tub almost 10 years ago from this location. I forgot to leave a comment when I had my issue. They came to my house several times to repair our light but could not get it fixed. After a year of trying they said warranty was up even though they never fixed it. They claimed they had no documentation of ever coming to my house. I told them the name of individual who came out to repair and still they would not honor. They dont honor their warranty and lack organization and communication. Ended up selling to a person who repairs hot tubs. Once they have your money they do not care.
We absolutely love our Vacanza Vanto hot tub purchased at Sweetwater Hot Tubz! If youre currently in the market for a hot tub go see Sandy or Wanda who are super friendly and knowledgeable at the 1604 West location. We ordered our tub, and it came in just as advertised. Very smooth transaction! The hot tub is now a great place (other than the dinner table) to spend quality time with our family. If you have questions about chemicals, Skyler was super helpful in explaining a short version of maintaining water quality.
We recently purchased an Endless Pool and love the pool. After the install of the pool, it’s been a bit frustrating. I barely received any instructions on how to use the spa and what I did get from them I had to drag out of the installer. The ’delivery’ of the spa in terms of making sure I know how to use it or any follow-up call from them on how I like my new investment is nonexistent. They also had to come back out and fix how they installed the cover arms 2 times. I also can’t seem to get follow-up from my sales person on adding the Fit@Home option for the swimming feature and had to call Endless Pools myself because they don‘t seem to completely understand the product the are selling. We have pretty much been completely blown off even after a call to one of the owners on how to add the Fit@Home feature. I am happy with the pool but super disappointed in the lack of service after spending $40k with this company. I would not purhcase from them again.
Although I purchased a quality hot tub here a few years back the customer service afterwards has been hit and miss. The lady employee in the store yesterday was so rude that it’s no longer worth the horrible customer service to ever return. It’s no wonder Amazon is making so much money.
Absolutly do not purchase form this company. I ordered December 1 and was told it could take up to 6 months to recieve it since it was a custom design. The contract states 8 weeks but I am reasonable and would patiently wait a few extra weeks since our sales rep said 6 months at the most. After 7 months I had not been contacted so I reached out. I called 3 times and every time I was told they would look into it and get back to me. No one ever called me back each time. On the 4th call I said I would stay on hold until someone could give me an answer on when I should expect delivery. That is the only reason I got an answer. However the answer was that it would be expected to arrive in October or November. Mind you I ordered Dec. 1. So they were saying it would basically have taken them 11 months to have the hot tub to us. I asked to cancel the order since that is unreasonable and I was told I would have to pay the cancelation fee wich would be an additional $2,027.75 on top of what they were holding as my deposit. They stated that I signed a contract that says they have 12 months to produce the product. NOWHERE on my copy of the contract I signed is that stated. The line item that outlines expectations of production time is 8 weeks. I have had a lawyer review the documents and Sweetwater is at fault and I hold no liability to the company. My order should be canceled and money returned but they refuse. A fraudulent claim has been made against them for failure to produce goods purchased.
Great experience!!!!We bought a Caldera Seychelles model for our place in Johnson City.From the sales staff (Wanda and Sandy) the delivery men (Pancho and Javen) to the technical guy (Paul) we had a very positive experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful through the whole process.We had to wait a while because the factory was shut down due to Covid. Felt bad for them because it was out of their hands, but they kept us up to date on progress.Well worth the wait!!!Pancho and Javen noticed a scratch on one side; they took pics of it. We were contacted by Paul and he drove to Johnson City and buffed it out. I would say that goes above and beyond.Thank you SweetWater!!!!

Businesses that refuse to openly price their product is a sign something isnt quite right. This industry is like buying a car... Prices fluctuate per customer so I suggest you do your homework and know the lowest price before you go in. I was quoted a very different price than my girlfriend for the same spa on the same day. Do your homework, and if all else fails - buy from an online only distributor - they offer the same manufacturers, same products, same warranty (sometimes they offer a better warranty!), same everything at much lower prices! My fellow Americans, dont spend your hard earned money without the knowledge! We can do better!
I cannot tell you the benefits a hot tub can bring you. Weve had the hot tub for one week and used it since. Feel so much better. If you want one, there is easy financing. I dont sale them. I just believe in them. I know who you can reach out to if interested. My legs are not blotchy and my heels dont feel uncomfortable anymore. I sleep soundly. The benefits are incredible!

He took his time, wasn’t overly aggressive and wanted to insure that we had the hot tub that met our needs.Having the ability to test out the different spas’s was a huge plus.My neighbors have tried it and fell in love with the experience.If you have lower back problems from your military service like I have, a hot tub is an amazing experience!
I had a positive experience with Sweetwater Hot Tubz. Sandy, Wonda, and Paul represented the company well. Paul did a good job delivering my swim spa two days ago and was very helpful during the orientation. I am a happy customer so far.
If you asked me when we bought our hot tub, I would of said great customer service and experience. At this moment, NOT so much. We had our hot tub delivered on 22 Jul. The delivery folks were great, its not their fault, but when they brought the hot tub their was miscommunication with the store and delivery folks. Our lift was not delivered. He called his boss while here and we were told they would bring it to us that Saturday (3 days after it was delivered). In the meantime, they said not to add water until they deliver it. They said it was due to having to put part of the lift under the tub and it needed to be empty. After several days of trying to call certain people, we finally got a response back saying it had to be ordered. Tomorrow is 1 Aug, and we are still waiting. I feel we paid good money for our hot tub, and cannot even enjoy it!! We are very disappointed and just want to be able to enjoy an expensive item😡
The worst communication!!! Placed our order in early July and have been trying to get a straight answer regarding the ETA of my hot tub. 5 1/2 months later I finally speak to an owner who still can’t provide an ETA. Very disappointed and wanted to save anyone the frustrations we’ve experienced.
Rather disappointed. We contracted for a R200 Endless Pool this past July and were told by the Saleswoman, Sandi, that it would be two, no more than three months. We had the slab poured and the crane company is ready to go. I dropped by the store off 1604 today just to check on the progress and was told by Sandi that it would now be December, more likely January. This is really, really disappointing. If it was going to be six months, we should have been told so right up front. Had we known, we probably would have done something else. Not good. Is it too late to back out of this bad deal? Ron was very helpful, knowledgeable, and very patiently took the time to explain how everything works. We will definitely be back again. The show room was also easy to find and get to. The show room is very clean and there are good examples of different options. If you have a sensitive nose, there is a strong chlorine odor, no surprise. We are still shopping. Its a big 1st time purchase.
Experienced some upfront scheduling issues, but the owner engaged and addressed the issues respectfully and got the job done. The service tech that worked on my spa was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will continue doing business with Sweetwater in the future.

We purchased our tub at the NE store location in August 2019 after veiwing a similar type hot tub at the NW location. The sale was easily accomplished and delivery was a accomplished a day ahead of schedule the first week of September 2019. A leak appeared on the tub in the second week of ownership. Service repairs were attempted but did not resolve the leak. After many phone calls and text messages we received a brand new hot tub the first week in January 2020. The new tub of the same make and model seems to be a much improved tub. The pump seems stronger and at this writing we have not observed any leaking as was present in the first unit delivered. We very much enjoy the tub and even more so without a leak. In my opinion; the first tub was flawed in some ways during the manufacturing process and Sweetwater Hot Tubs did everything they could to make us a happy customer. Patience was a plus in trying to resolve the issues and it did take some time to acheive the final result.
We have had a great experience with Sweetwater and our new hot tub. Shout out to Kenny, he spent hours with us answering questions and helping us with NO pressure to buy. He even came to our house early on a Saturday to take a look at our deck and make sure we’d be getting exactly what we wanted. He really made the process easy with our hectic work schedules and without any sales pressure. All the staff there are super nice and helpful. We are extremely happy with our spa!
I bought my hot tub back early in 2018 and I have to say it is one of the best things I have ever done. I have bad back problems and use my hot tub nearly every day. It is very relaxing to get in there and soak. In the summer time, I turned the temperature way down and it was a great way to cool down. Now that it has turned cooler, I turned the temperature up a little and it is still really nice. The water is so easy to maintain. I just add a little chlorine or acid, whatever is needed and I haven’t had one problem at all. They staff at the store was very professional and helpful. I am one of the most frugal people you will ever meet. I work hard for my money and I don’t make major purchases without shopping around very carefully. After looking at a couple other stores, I decided that Sweet Water had the best deals. The installers were very helpful and professional. Overall, I am quite pleased. Also, the water is really good for my skin. I touched my forearm to the bottom of my gas grill turning off the gas and got a pretty good burn. It healed really quickly from being in the tub. If you’re thinking about a hot tub, this is the place.
I just purchased my first hot tub and the experience was amazing with Sweetwater!! The deliver was on time and the service was amazing! Not only will I be a customer for life but I’m sending everyone there! The chemicals and scents for the tub are very well priced based on my searches. Thank y’all Sweetwater!
Very bad company. We had the technician come diagnose the hot tun which was not working.We got estimate for water pump replacement.We scheduled repair and the tech NEVER showed up. We even followed up md they said he was coming. We wasted ALLday and finally hours later we said we were not waiting a y longer. They could bot have cared any less. They just said okay and didnt even apologize. Really!???? Our time is important as well! We just got someone else to come see the tub and found also leaks and the water heater not working.So not only did Sweetwater hot tubz did NOT show up for repair appointment, they also did NOT ecen diagnosed the issues with the tub proeperly.I called them back to request refund for fee charged since they fail to actually show up to do the quoted repair, but they also did not even diagnose it properly.They have failed to call us back when we have called them for months regarding request for refund. I have already told them today to do refund or I will file a complaint with the BBB and anything else.This company is a scam and should not charge customers for incorrect diagnosis and specially if they do NOT even show up for repair appointment!Do NOT recommend them, they are a scam.UPDATE The seller wrote a response to my review as if it didnt know about the situation!? This has been going on for months and last time I spoke with Wanda, she said she spoke with you so please do not pretend you were bot aware. You did bot provide the service and wasted our time. You should be ashamed for charging people for incorrect diagnosis AND not even be professional to show up for repairs!
Weve had our hot tub for about 2 years now. The delivery men were excellent. Wanda at the 1604 location is always very helpful if you have any questions. We love our Caldera hot tub and get in it every night. I also like the Hot Tub Express service they provide where you can order your chemicals with free shipping for all purchases over $45. It saves me the time of driving to the store. I highly recommend Sweetwater Hot Tubz.
My husband and I went into the store on 1604/Hausman. Our salesman, Kenny, was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered all our questions and addresses any concerns that we had. We told him what our specific needs were and he suggested a hot tub that met all our requirements. When the hot tub was delivered the delivery guys were quick and fantastic. They went over everything we would need to know. There was a drink bar that went across the hot tub that was forgotten. They brought the piece the very next day. When they delivered the forgotten item they didn’t just drop off the part, they looked at the tub again just to make sure everything was warming the way it should. It is a good thing they did because the had only warmed up 10 degrees overnight. He knew exactly where to go and made the minor adjustment to a wire that had come loose in transit. Kenny even stopped by our house after delivery to personally go over the chemicals to make sure understood. If you are thinking of purchasing a hot tub, I would definitely recommend Sweetwater Hot Tubz

My husband chose the Caldera Tahitian tub. We were not disappointed! Nothing beats coming home after a long day at work, and jumping into our hot tub. Why didnt we do this sooner?Thanks!
Super friendly and helpful staff. They have what you need, or will get it quickly! We were looking for a pre filter to attached to the garden hose. Called all over town, they were the only ones who even knee what we were talking about. And, while they were sold out, they got one in and held it for us the next day. Prices are better than youll dind online and I got a bigger smile than on the side of an amazon box when I walked in the door.

The staff in the store are so friendly and helpful. They seem to anticipate my questions and needs. I have had very few problems, but when I did need service, Mike and Daniel really went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. I am so happy with my beautiful tub and thankful I decided to make the purchase.
Got my Prestige Hot Tub by Vita Spa last week and have been in it every day since. I am the first in San Antonio to have that new color Glacier Mountain and it looks awesome! The installation guys were awesome as well! Great Job Sweetwater!
We recently bought a new hot tub from Sweetwater. This would be the 3rd hot tub that my family has bought from them, and each time has been a wonderful experience. They gave me a great deal and their staff from start to finish was nothing but wonderful.
Tried to get info on a hot tube at the home and garden show. Personnel who were working the both were to busy talking among them selves then answering questions. I will not be buying our hot tube from this company.
Wanda is very friendly and helpful. We only had to travel a few miles to see examples of hot tubes and all the accessories. If youre looking for hot tubes dont buy until youve seen what they have here.
The overall experience was great. Our salesperson, Wanda was extremely helpful in assisting us with choosing a model. She never pressured us to buy just gave us suggestions. In service, Helen was great. She answered all our questions concerning preperation and scheduled the delivery. TJ, Chris and crew were awesome when delivering the tub.
So tired of this place never opening on time. We have come countless times and they are always late. Its now 10 minutes past opening time and there are 3 of us waiting outside. This is unacceptable!
