Jeff and his crew installed St. Augustine sod for me in early March. I waited to make this review to see how well the grass would take and how good it would look after a few months of care. I had the benefit as well of having 2 neighbors install sod by other landscape companies for comparison. Its my opinion that based on what the grass looks like today compared to my neighbors that Jeff installed a superior sod as well as taking additional steps to assure success. After clearing the old bermuda grass, he added an insecticide and high quality (though smelly) compost layer before installing what appeared to be a better quality sod. Over the last months, my neighbors have thinning and blade yellowing while our grass has remained thick and green. While I have taken great care to mow, treat and fertilize our new sod as needed (and I cant speak to what our neighbors have done), I am certain that Jeffs installation process and sod supply was a factor in how great our yard looks. We great constant praise from neighbors about how fantastic our yard looks again!

Jeff and his team installed new sod to include compost soil, trimmed my oak and red tip trees, and added new mulch to my beds. They were timely and cleaned all the trimmings. Jeff provided insight on the sod and soil composition thats best for my yard. Also, identified the issue of grubs which were taken a toll on my lawn and included preventive care when laying the new sod. Additionally, Jeff provided literature on the type of sod, watering, cutting and fertilizer to maintain my new lawn. He is affordable and does great lawn care service. I would recommend his lawn care services.

Jeff and his crew did an amazing job on our yard. They installed a flagstone patio extension, top coated our lawn, removed a tree, and trimmed out an area for our trampoline. Our grass is so green and beautiful. I would recommend him to everyone!!!

Mr. McCain and his crew are very professional and diligent in their work. He has provided us his services for over 5 years. For all of our lawn, landscaping and exterior maintenance needs, we will continue to utilize McCain Enterprises.

The work they do is shoddy at best. Jeff, the owner talks big, but does not deliver!  He subcontracts his concrete and miscellaneous work out and uses the cheapest possible materials, while he tells you it is the best quality.The masonry people left a huge mess behind in the yard, pieces of concrete and brick. The owner tries to blame the fact he doesnt speak alot of Spanish as to why his masonry people do something different than what he tells the customer  will be done.We had them install a gate. They used spray foam in the post hole (instead of cement) and covered it up with dirt and rock in hopes we wouldnt see it or know the difference!We can not comment on their lawn care abilities, but after the other work we had done, we were not even about to hire them to do anything else because we figured it would be the same poor quality of work!

Littered their advertising in the middle of my lawn in a clear dog waste bag with a small brown rock inside which originally look like dog feces. I would definitely rethink their marketing and advertising tactics especially if you are trying to acquire new customers.
