Purchased a motorcycle out of state (14 Aprilia) Cycle Rider made the process extremely easy! Murray, the salesman and Mary the finance manager were attentive, and very quick with paperwork and titling. The motorcycle had to be shipped via third party- however when I received the bike it was clean and exactly as the images showed. I would definitely recommend this dealership, and if I was closer to them, they would be my full time dealership.

The only I guess negative is no test rides are allowed unlike all other dealers I dealt with in looking for a Gold Wing. Although they did offer to cancel the deal within the first half hour if I didnt like it, but I would not have wanted to test that verbal statement after the closing. If you can do without a test ride, this family owned place is good place to do business.

Brought in my 2012 Triumph Thunderbird Storm that needed a big overhaul due to shipping mistakes.Other shops put me on a waiting list (still waiting since June). Shane at Cycle Rider got me in the day after I called. One week later after waiting on new tires, oil change, brake checks, electrical checks, battery change, and full head to toe inspection. They put in a full tank of gas and I road it home today, putting 40 miles on it after a brief joy ride. It rode like it was fresh from the factory.Id recommend giving them a call!

What a wonderful experience purchasing my first motorcycle from the Cycle Rider team. This was a completely on-line purchase and there are always some concerns buying a big-ticket item like this site unseen. However, after reading so many positive reviews and the incredible communication from Murray and Mary, I was very quickly put at ease. After I arranged shipping from San Antonio to Florida, Murray and Mary stayed with me the entire way, making sure that the shipper properly secured the bike for transport and sent me photos from inside the trailer. I came here on purpose to check on a bike for a friend of mine who lives out of state. I was surprised by the quality of the used inventory they have. They even had a used bike with 60 miles on the ODO! I am not on the market and I would certainly consider them, too bad they are almost 200 miles from where I live. Staff is very friendly.

If there is one thing one must consider when buying a used motorcycle from a business, it is the level of service and dedication the staff shows in dealing with you. I flew in from NOLA to buy the bike of my dreams and I had barely set foot in the door that Murray said you made it. He knew who I was and what I was there for. The bike was spotless and ready to go for my long journey home to New Orleans, La. Financial institutions being what they are, I had some difficulties making them understand that I was buying a large ticket item and that I needed them to approve the transaction. Well, it took a good part of patience and time to get the money. Mary was so patient with me and even volunteered practical solutions. She asked the young man at the counter to take me to my bank to finalize the purchase. He was a wonderful and kind gentleman who took it upon himself to drive me all the way out there fast and safely in the San Antonio traffic. I was able to get my tellers check, pay and be on my way in no time. The FJ-09 I bought is a tremendous bike and ran like a charm all the way home. Thank you all so much!

My wife and I are new riders. We were recently looking for two used bikes under $4k to help us start our motorcycle journey, checking out a number of dealerships in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and even Austin, online. Cycle Rider in SA was top of our list to visit, due to the wide selection of used bikes available at affordable prices. The store’s online inventory was up-to-date, so that when we visited the shop, the bikes we were hoping to find were still there — a Honda Shadow Spirit 750 for my wife, and a Honda CB500F for myself. On a side note, I agree with another reviewer that this is not your one-stop shop for gear. They have some gear, but you’ll want to shop around.Murray and Shane were very knowledgeable about the bikes, and answered any questions we had. In addition, they ordered and installed the additional components we requested in a timely manner. When we arrived with our trailer to pick up the bikes, both guys were great in loading the bikes up and tying them down. After an hour’s drive home, the bikes’ hadn’t budged a bit.We don’t want to rush our learning experience, so we’re going to take our time enjoying our “new” used bikes. However, I can say for certain that when it’s time for us to move on to our next bikes, we’ll definitely be returning to the Cycle Rider shop. Thank you Murray and Shane!

I have nothing but pleasant interactions with both Mary and Murray during my visit in San Antonio. I flew in from California because they were one of the very few dealers who had the victory gunner that I wanted. It took a total of three days of talking to convince me to fly all the way out there to buy this bike. I do not regret a thing, it was fast, easy, and one of the best decisions Ive made. Even after buying the bike and riding for my two day journey back to North California, they called me to make sure everything was going well and made sure I called them when I made it. Came from Houston, didnt even bother calling. Bike was super clean and service was quick. They assisted with loading and were very kind and helpful. Arrived and left in about an hour, kept my timetable on schedule for the day.Price was ok with mileage and aftermarket parts. I purchased a absolutely beautiful Yamaha Raider from Cycle Rider several months ago. The purchase experience was nothing short of outstanding from all perspectives. Murray, Shane, Will and Mary were extremely friendly and very easy to deal with. After I had the bike about two months, I started having difficulty with starting the bike and it actually died on a few occasions. I took the bike back to Cycle Rider and they insisted on repairing the issue at no charge to me even though I had purchased the bike as is. I got to know Victor, the head mechanic, and he was just as easy to deal with as the rest of the team!They successfully resolved the issue by by completely removing and cleaning the entire fuel system from the tank to the injectors as well as replacing the fuel pump. I know it had to cost them over $1000 to repair this issue and they REFUSED to accept any money from me!It is indeed refreshing to find a company that values their integrity over the letter of their contract. I recommend them without reservation and I intend to purchase many more bikes from them in the future ... I strongly suggest that you check them out should you be in the market for a used late model bike at a great price.

Great selection on variety of bikes. Foriegn, British and American, a few are overpriced. As is, No warranty. Some bikes are not what they appear to be. Ask about look-a-likes if you notice something unusual. A change in policy to test drive would bring better sales, Im sure. No credit cards. Cash, money order, or debit cards accepted. Ask about financing and delivery of vehicle.

This place is the definition of true customer service. I brought my custom Bobber that I had at the time to them to service and they were always up front with suggestions and advice. No surprises. Then i got to know the Cycle Rider Family and there brand more to the point i took a step to purchase a bike from them. The Best decision, advise and process I ever had. No headache. Cleanest Bikes in town and best prices. They give you the space to decide on your own and then add in there experience. This is the last and final place I would service or buy another bike.

Interested in a ducati1299, called them if it is available, they said yes. After three hour driving, they told my friend and I they didnt have the title so they cant sell it. Its fine, we left our contact information, telling them call us as soon as the bike is available. And yesterday called them again, and they said the bike has been already sold. So frustrated. They dont care about their customer anyway since theyre still selling the bikes anyway.

So when the Fund Run for Julio Cavazos came up, I immediately thought Will, Murray and Mary could help. I came and spoke with Murray about posting an 8x10 flier, but got much more than I expected. Within a half hour Mary had transformed my plain flyer into a very nice post on the web site. When anyone looks at the Cycle Rider web page, the first thing they see is this huge full page flier for Julio. Not straight forward. Did not honor appointment, despite scheduling a week in advance. Little regard for customer service, except to get approval for small work mattters. Returned my bike with a spark plug undone from the time I turned in in. Meaning: they didnt even check. Claimed to put two (2) gallons of fresh fuel in my bikes tank, but did not. I ran out of gas 0.5 mile from shop, on San Pedro, in the rain. Expensive. Labor cost way-exceeded reasonable or going amount. The response to this post is bunk: 1) I was no more than 5 minutes late for the originally scheduled appointment.
