Sold a heavy duty piece of kitchen ware and NEEDED a box to ship in. My wife looked on line for a resolve and found this place. I was reluctant but desperate! Boy am I glad I went. They had EVERYTHING I needed for a reasonable price. The saleswoman there was SO helpful and I was able to ship my item for some extra cash!

Stopped by to pick up some moving supplies about 15 minutes before close. Staff was very friendly and did not push to get me out the door. They helped me pick the right boxes and packing material and then loaded everything in my car.They have a ton of options and are fully stocked.If you want to support a great group of people, get great service and leave with a smile then come to this place!

Same price as Home depot/Lowes/Walmart and half the quality. Really dont undstand the appeal. They were friendly but I cant get better boxes for same price pretty much anywhere.

Chelsea was such a blessing to us. Because of problems with our packers and my inability to recognize how much stuff I had to pack, I was in the store at least six times. Chelseas expertise and suggestions helped my packing process so much, and of course, the prices were excellent. She even helped us resolve an issue with the company who packed our Pod for us. I felt blessed by all of her help and am so thankful! She made a very stressful time much easier with all of her good ideas.

Thoughtlessly showed up with kids in tow and cargo packed with various things since I forgot boxes take up a lot of space even broken down. Owner is a Tetris master. Helped me fit a whole house moving package 2 (so many boxes) in my 4 runner so i wouldnt have to come back. Will definitely come back for future needs and highly recommend. Very friendly too.

Loads of box options. For those doing a self pack, the prices of the boxes are so reasonable. It’s so much easier than trying to collect boxes from other people. They loaded my purchase right into my car.

I didnt even bother with Lowes or home depot to get boxes. They have packs of boxes which runs about $1-$2 per box. The gentleman who helped me even helped me get the boxes into my car! Im so happy I went here!

To be served by and get a carry out to your car by the owner of the business is not something that you experience every day. Chelsea and Colin always treat you with authentic respect and still remains professional. They treat you like a real person (not just another sale) when you come in. Better than one on south east side of town. Nice people work here. They say they buy back unused boxes, so I will see, I have one left to turn back in.

These are hands down the best quality boxes and moving supplies you will find in the San Antonio area and at the most competitive price. We made the mistake of initially purchasing a few boxes for our move from Lowes - Lowes boxes were terrible and did not do well in the move. These boxes.. OMG these boxes from 1/2 price boxes are legit. Even our movers made a comment about how we got good quality boxes and not cheap ones. The owner is extremely kind and very helpful. You just cant go wrong. And FYI they sell all size of boxes for different packing and shipping needs.

Ive been going to 1/2 price boxes for well over a year. When Eco Box changed locations. I had to find another shipping supply source. Even though 1/2 Price Boxes doesnt have the largest selection..I continued to shop there. I have two businesses online and purchase shipping supplies monthly. Everything I sell has to be shipped. I buy bubble wrap, bio-peanuts, tape and boxes. The only problem Ive had is their selection, but I decided to just cut boxes down for shipping purposes, etc.This week I purchased some things that I buy on a regular basis. After thinking about it and realizing that its not cost effective to purchase such large quantities any more from 1/2 boxes...I turned the car around and went back to return everything. Colin said that he sold me 5 boxes in a particular size...when in fact, he sold me 4. I explained that I brought everything back, did not get out of the car after I left, I went and looked in the trunk a second time...just to make sure I didnt miss one. I didnt.Instead of telling me or discussing it further, he kept the money for a box that I did not receive. I noticed this morning that the refund and the original charge didnt match, so I called. Colin told me that he knew without doubt that he did in fact give me 5 boxes, but he didnt. Unless a box magically vanished into thin air. I depend on my two businesses online to support myself. If I had the box, I would have paid for it. Unfortunately, Colin and 1/2 Price Boxes dont seem to understand the concept of good customer service. I wont be buying from them again. Im very disappointed in Colin. I thought we had a good vendor/customer relationship. He lost a customer over a $2 box that I do not have and he did not give me. Even though its a small amount, 1/2 Price Boxes and Colin stole from me. I have always trusted them, but I do think I should have been counting everything over the last year plus before I left the store.If youre looking for steady and reputable company to purchase shipping supplies from, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Inexpensive boxes for moving. Large boxes for storing paintings. Priced a little high on the auxiliary supplies, but good in a pinch. Moving blankets. Not good for shipping product, since they have moving specific printing on the boxes.
