As soon as I showed up I saw men parked by the equipment area so I parked next to them. They were hanging out and no one said anything to them until I parked. This was around 11am today, if you want to check the cameras. So as I was going to park in the back, no one else moved to the back and was not corrected. I was the only one that he seemed to want to tell to move because he didn’t say anything till I showed up. How do I know, because he addressed everyone at the same time as if they had not been told prior to me arriving.One guy even just parked behind us on the same side of the equipment. With that being said, Outside of being told by a worker to park in the back after letting others park in the front and me being made to feel like I was being told to get to the back of the bus, Anthony Scottie was very helpful in helping put my boxes away on my SUV. I told him briefly what had happened. The the five stars go to Scottie. So 5 plus 0 is still five. Adding too. Equipment is everywhere in UHaul in every location that we’ve been in; from the Pacific Coast to the Midwest, so how is anyone not parking next to the equipment at times? So some serious diversity coaching needs to be done on how to address all clients the same. I needed help because he made me move when there were open spots on that same side, yet no one else had to move. So he needs coaching or he needs to get ta steppin!
The Hispanic short man that works outside is a rude a**hole! He was rude to the cashier before getting the whole story, and did it in front of several customers. This place has definitely gone down hill. I think he was even the manager. With all these horrible reviews its evident the owners could care less. Hire new management, I remember this place as the gold standard. Not what its become.
I expect better..there is a factory installed wire harness for trailer lights, it didnt get touched, I assume that harness wasnt in stock at the shop. Sloppy wiring job..and one of the four bolts securing the hitch to the frame is mostly screwed in and crooked (please excuse my attention to detail). Ive tried to call and talk to someone there about this several times over the last couple of days and nobody will answer the phone. I have had great experiences in the past with work done at u-haul which is why I sent my wife there. I paid 230bucks to have this done. I will now be crawling under the vehicle myself to clean up the wiring and finish the job by installing a 4-flat connector bracket and a cover.
I just wanted to pick up boxes I ordered online. While waiting the staff was rude to a customer they were currently serving so I got a bit nervous as I got closer. On my turn they printed out a sheet of what I ordered and told me to find the boxes in the store. What??! They sent me on a scavenger hunt basically. I was so lost. And did not receive any help. Sad.
BEWARE!! I GOT BED BUGS FROM THEIR BOXES!!!! THEY WONT EVEN REIMBURSE ME FOR THE BOXES, NOT TO MENTION THE BED AND FURNITURE I LOST. I bought the boxes from this location on June 1st. BEWARE! If you purchased boxes from them recently, I highly recommend checking your living spaces and the vehicles that transported the boxes.
Treat this as if you were going to the DMV. Expect terrible customer service, a possible second trip there, inefficiencies, and the reality that you might not get what you ordered/were looking for.I had a horrible experience picking up a uhaul trailer. Mine was not the only one, as the people in front of me in line couldnt leave with the trailer they rented. In fact, they were charged an extra day for their trailer because employees at this store couldnt figure out how to unlock the trailer that one of their own employees locked.... go figure...

I reserved a van earlier in the week for a 4 hour rental and received a confirmation of a guaranteed vehicle via email. When I arrived at the store to pick it up I was notified by one of the employees that I was not on their list and that all their vehicles had been rented for the day. They did not care to look at the email confirmation or want to hear that I had a confirmation for the Uhaul location at their address for the vehicle that I rented- the person kept stating thats not us, thats the online reservation as if somehow Uhaul.com and Uhaul arent the same company. Despite them not having my reservation, an hour or so after I got a truck from home depot instead I received an email notifying me of a cancellation of the reservation they said they didnt have.
Guy at the counter was visibly frustrated and showed he did want to be there on September 30th. Was extremely unprofessional and rude. Took my business elsewhere
Although I didnt rent a U-Haul they have other services! Propane fill ups and custom hitches to be installed! They helped me out and I got a very good price for my install as well as my new bike rack!

We have had to split up a move over 3 weeks. All doing 1 way drop at this location. Today is the 2nd day out of the three weeks. 2nd time dropping and being attended by Nicolas James.This dude deserves a raise. I am so happy to be moving back to San Antonio and each visit he is professional and quick.

Every time I call the unit to resolve my payment issue no one answers or they are so busy I get sent to a call center and now I’m worried I’m going to lose all of my things. Due to pandemic things have been difficult for me and I do not have the income I use to and no one answered my calls or returns my email

Awful experience. They charged me for two days because I took my truck back 20 minutes late and most of this delay was me staying in line waiting for someone to check my truck because no one was there. Also even if I checked in online and I still had to wait for 25 minutes before getting my truck. So basically they charged me for two days when I had my truck for less than 4h! This place is a scam. Never again

Manger called to confirm my reservation that I made online. He was upset with me for not verifying my license online (I wasn’t aware I needed to do that) so when he started listing all the rules of rental his tone was confrontational. I asked why he was having an attitude as I was more than willing to comply with his rules. He called me a sensitive baby and cancelled my reservation and hung up on me.When I called back to see if I didn’t really dream this actually happened he told me to go ahead and complain to corporate as they wouldn’t to anything to him. Gotta better deal a different location so I guess it worked out for me.
I had a terrible experience at this location. I signed up to complete a self pick up meaning my rental would be completed without having to go to the counter and with COVID, I was very happy this was offered. Come to find out, when I went to pick up my rental, the extras(dolly, moving blankets) I had already paid for were not in my rental and they did not have my keys in the vehicle as they were supposed to be I was forced to go inside anyway. The employees Gloria and Isiah were unprofessional in addressing these concerns. Gloria went to pick up my rental and did not notice or pay attention that the rental had a check engine light on. This delayed my rental start time even further. They only gave me a replacement after I told them I was unwilling to wait for them to take even more time to figure out the codes. There is absolutely no care given to anything they are doing based on my experience. After speaking with a 24/7 customer service manager I was assured a call back from the general manager. 3 days later, still no call. Given the previous reviews I shouldnt hold my breath. I would not recommend to rent here. Use someone else or another location.---Update:I did receive a call from the General Manager, Daniel, who was apologetic and offered me a credit based on my experience with the branch.
Left me and two others waiy outside for propane for 15 minutes than finally came outside to tell all of us they cant do refills. They could of put a sign are let all of us know instead of ignoring the doorbell. And not saying anything til we went inside poor service.
I had the worst experience ever at this location. I arrived a few hours late from Austin. I was told that I would pay for an extra day due to the extra hours that I kept the vehicle, and I was fine with that. When I received the final invoice, it showed that I had been charged 47 dollars for fuel. I emailed customer service and explained to them that this was a mistake, as I had refueled the truck 20 minutes before returning it. The rude and completely unhelpful representative emailed me back and told me that “perhaps I had been in a rush and forgot to refuel the truck”. He stated that he “checked the fuel himself” ( he doesn’t even work at that location) and that a few other employees had verified that the tank was not full. I find this odd as there was only one employee in the return bay at the time. He took forever to check me in, and at the end of the rental stated that “ his tablet was running slowly”. I returned at 1:51 PM, and I show that this location did not close out the rental until 3:51PM, therefore they did not even complete the return procedure correctly. When I stated that I wanted a fuel refund, the representative quit responding to my emails. Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from U-haul. I have never had such an awful customer service experience in my life.
I came to this location in need of some very last minute help. Tony was extremely pleasant, and eager to assist. We worked through many, many options and when we finally settled on a solution, Tony worked diligently to come to a very satisfactory resolution to my specific set of needs. Tony and his crew are absolutely the best and I am forever indebted to them!
Was trying to rent a truck, I was at the stoplight in front of this location and they were about to close in the next 5 minutes. I called just to let them know I was at the light and about to be in. I figured if they needed info of mine it would help get a head start. I was greeted with “yea, well you got 3 min to get here haha!” Like I said, I was at the light. So it didn’t take me 3 minutes. Anyway the door was locked of course and the 2 employees inside didn’t acknowledge I was there. I walked around to the other side of store and was ignored.I’m not special, I understand That businesses have operating hours and sometimes people can’t stay late. This was not the case. Just bad attitudes. Not only did they close 1 min early to go out of their way to not be helpful, I called and the call menu said they were open.I should have just planned ahead better. This virus has everyone closing early and considering that not everyone’s website is accurate as far as closing times I get that the posted closing times may be different than actual. Still, I had the feeling when I was at the light that whoever I was speaking to was rushing over to lock the door before I got off the phone.
This store manager is extremely condescending and does not represent uhaul well at all. The company process is actually easy and fast once you figure it out, but talking to they guy he tries to make you feel like an idiot for not knowing the process by heart. Times are hard enough right now, and no one needs to have the guy helping you sigh loudly and act exacerbated and irritated the entire time — apparently, the manager no less.

Im an Uber driver and was dropping of a rider. This literally takes 30 seconds. I pulled into a large area that was safe to drop off. An employee came out and yelled at me for dropping off my customer where I did. Beware of unprofessional employees.

Charged me 25.00 cleaning fee when it was cleaned already 20.00 after hours fee and dont explain that if you check it in online they dont charge that. the manager is not very knowledgeable about his own job and very rude they dint tell you or explain anything so they can screw you at the end go somewhere else
I came here after a frustrating experience at a U-haul community dealer after trying to pick-up equipment I had reserved. Donna was such a huge help. She was able to secure a 20 truck at a big discount. I will definitely come back to this location if I have any other moving needs.

Had a horrible experience with a different U-Haul dealer and Tony helped solve it quickly even though 1) it could have waited until tomorrow as they were closing when I walked in the door 2) the reservation transfer didn’t even occur so they had 0 record to go off of and trusted my word.They got the trailer off and settled and they didn’t make me go home with it to accrue additional day charges. Haven’t had a bad experience yet!
Will not answer the phones. Placed on hold 20 plus minutes multiple times. Hire more people if you cannot take care of potential paying customers or even current customers. Same goes for inside wait times are outrageous. Will definitley shop around for services elsewhere

Man...so much has went wrong with our rental when we started out in Washington state. We made it to our new home in San Antonio and had so other issues but with our apartment. Long story short Adam took care of us! He made everything right when we came in to return the truck we seriously appreciate him and his crew! They were knowledgeable and even fixed the fact that uhaul traffic control routed us to a whole different spot! Thank you so much. You have know idea the help that you gave and how it was a domino effect of good things to come after!
Twice now Ive come here to wait in line over 30 minutes because they only let one person work the register at a time, despite the fact Michael kept walking around back and forth like he had nothing better to do and when asked if he could help the one guy they had checking out his response was that he doesnt make the schedule and walked outside... Then he came in to tell the customer in front of me that because people have rented a truck and trailer and steal it to Colorado, so (he) must leave collateral like (his) car and keys... When the customer questioned the legitimacy of this policy, Michaels response was that this is what he has to do to protect his equipment. I will never bring my business to this location again.
My experiences at this store have been very positive. I have seen people come in with attitude and in a rush because they were coming in to get moving material while their movers were home. I would say, if you cant prepare ahead of a move do not come in irrate. These guys are filling propane, loading trailers and selling stuff and always with a great attitude. Plan ahead!
Nice guys here. Ive used this location 3 times in the last month and these guys have been really helpful. The line gets a little long at times bc its busy but they take good care of you.

I have never been more abused as a customer then in this store. The customer service guy wanted me to worship him before he would take my information to rent a truck. He kicked me out of the store, for no reason! He said the reason I should leave is because I was chewing a granola bar.
Top notch service and plenty of moving supplies for your needs! Not to mention, didnt even have to walk inside to pay for propane, Pay at The Pump now! Super fast!

They have very bad cashiers working there, they are very biased. We had the reservation and we went there 3 times. The first time they told us we had to make a reservation, we made a reservation and went there the second time and they told us our reservation didnt go through so I called the customer service on the phone. They told me my reservation was confirmed and I can go pick up the truck. I went for the third time and they told me they can only give me a one way truck and chargeme extra. I was a regular Uhaul customer but after today they lost me forever. I dont even wanna give them one star but unfortunately I have to because its required.
Adam Pena, the manager, was extremely rude when my truck was not available that had been reserved. Rather than apologizing for the mixup and helping, he called out snide remarks as I’m leaving. I turned around and came back to him and asked for his supervisor’s number he took it even lower! He said “leave now you are obstructing the peace.” Thankfully, when I called the president, Sam Molina, I was treated with kindness and respect. Thank you Mr. Molina!

This was the worst experience with a Uhaul store that I have ever had. Trying to get a hitch in my jeep. I was told by phone to bring my vehicle in so they can put the hitch on. I arrived to check in and no one knew about it and they didnt have the part. They said they would call other stores to get it. I waited over 30 minutes waiting to be told what the next step would be. Finally Leslie said oh well we can get it from another store but you have to pay 152.50 freight charge because we dont have it in stock and even though you were told to come in Im not going to eat the freight charge so you will be charged. Are you kidding me? Charge me for their lack of professionalism and communication and their mistake? Terrible customer service.
THIS IS NOT A REVIEW FOR UHAUL BUT FOR MIGHTY MEN MOVERS IN SAN ANTOMIO.I left a review for this moving helper named Freddie. The review I had left for Freddie had stated that he could not taking the unused moving blankets back to uhaul, and instead took my dining room chairs. I had to drive the blankets back to uhaul on the same day. I drove to California that evening. Also to add, Freddie had called me personally about the review I left for him to tell ME, that wasnt appreciated and that I was wrong to leave a bad review of him. I have absolutely a million nasty words to express myself here. To also top this entire situation off, of the 2 UBoxes I ordered. I discovered that I had so much room left in my first UBOX that I could have actually taken and/or fit in my chairs. I noticed Freddie had continually stated that I could not fit all my things in the boxes. While I had accepted that I would need to leave items out, I now feel that Freddie took advantage of me as a Moving Help customer, in order to come up on any of the items I was forced to leave behind.
The return policy is well stated and spot on. Needed to return an extra lock...no problem. They often dont have a lot of staff up front resulting in long waits...primary reason for lower rating.
Is there an option for no star? The General Manager Adam Pena was verbally abusive towards me without instigation. He accused me of being confrontational when I asked questions ab UHaul products, and that I was interrupting his time to ‘count his cash.’ He commanded me to sit down and threatened to cancel my order, remove me from the property and call the police. I really hope the store videotape has the audio. He was so out of control it was like a comedy. I couldn’t believe a General Manager was behaving like this. Either he hates his job or he thinks he get away behaving like this or both. I’ve reported this to UHaul, ref #2223332. I will not be satisfied until a specific individual in corporate leadership is aware of this incident.

The guy that attended me was very rude when I got there. All I did was ask if they had trucks to rent because it was my first time. I told him I saw some online but I decided to go in person instead and his response was “ why didn’t you reserve it online?!” I told him I didn’t know anything about renting trucks. Every time I spoke to him it was a very rude response. He talked with so much anger to me and bragged about how not to believe in the reviews online and has a trophy. I don’t know what was up with him.
I have several rental homes that often require an extra truck or trailer to fetch sod, soil, move furniture, carry lumber and building products, etc. I have tried other U-Haul locations close by and even the competition. This U-Haul location is the best. Some folks are just prude nay-Sayers, I have found all the help to be friendly, helpful, and polite. I have rented there at least 20 times in the past four years. By the way the manager (name left off on purpose) and his wife just gave birth to twins, congratulations to you both! Some of you negatives need to get with it! The best path in life is to treat others the way you want to be treated! IF YOU DO, IT ALWAYS COMES BACK!
Incompetent.Was unable to include insurance over the phone before pickup was told had to wait for pick up.I was not the one picking up so I was told a note would be put on my account to GUARANTEE the insurance would be added at pickup.This did not happen.And since I was not told until an hour after pickup that this happened they were not going to be able to add the insurance.This location was unable to honor a mistake THEY made.Would not recommend this location, unable to follow a simple note left on an account.
The cheapest place to go to get propane tanks refilled. During the week, they have certified propane techs available on-site, so you can pull up to the large tank, ring the bell, and have a tech meet you out there to refill your tank. They even have a mobile app allowing you to pay outside without ever having to go inside. This is preferable, because if you DO have to go inside, the line is usually deep and slow moving.
Fast service. Truck was clean and did it’s job. Love this location because they have mechanics and service staff on site. Not just a “pickup” site

I got to the location right was they opened with 4 other people. I have been waiting in line for about an hour now. I completed the online info to expedite the process.The only staff member they had working was Tony Gosa. He is VERY chatty with everyone, but unfortunately, he cant talk and type at the same tome. Its been dragging out the checking process with everyone.Its inefficient, unnecessary, and is causing anger with the rest of the customer in line.
I walked in without a reservation and was out the door with the truck i needed in about 15 minutes. drop-off took maybe 5 minutes. quick, good service :) 9 extra bucks for driving 5 extra miles is crazy expensive, but that is company policy and has nothing to do with any particular location. just adding it for balance :)
I rented a 9 van on a stormy morning from these guys. The service was quick, the salesrep was pleasant and my experience was great. I asked the rep why his reviews were so low, and he said they were understaffed for awhile so service suffered. Dont turn these guys away; they know what theyre doing and will answer any questions you have.
DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!! I have a signed contract and Uhaul was late in delivering my pod boxes by a week. My contract says they are supposed to pay $50 a day for being late. The General Manager, Adam Pena, refuses to contact me in any way or keep up his end of the contract. This will have to be settled in small claims court. Staff is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, AND LIARS!! RUN AWAY.....FAST...DO NOT USE!
Buyer Beware!!!!!I rented a Truck and Transport Trailer. To relocate to another town 5 hours away. Also a utility dolly and 18 Furniture Pads. The person who brought my truck up said each bag has 6 per bag. He gave me three bags. I only used 12.But when I got to my destination. I found out that I only had 17 Pads.So I called this store. And was told I should have looked at everything before signing.Anyone who has rented from Uhaul knows they make you sign BEFORE YOU GO OUTSIDE.!!But this representative at this location said I should have looked before signing.Bottom LineChange S.O.P.She said I am liable for the Furniture Pad.

This place sucks they call you with wrong info about you having to bring the truck earlier than the time you sign get here and they made a mistake. So there goes my extra hour of sleep. Plus be careful to never overfill the gas tank you will not get credit for it.
Dont trust this location they steal your belongings!! I left a pair of Versace sunglasses on the dash when I left the truck over night. As soon as I drop the key in the drop box I realized I left my glasses in the truck. So I couldnt get them. But I had faith that this was a legit business and it would something like that for a every weekend customer. ( we have a flea market stand so we use there cargo vans for transportation of merchandise) The next morning everyone including there manager Leslie, didnt even show a ounce of concern. Then I called customer service and they are garbage too. Rent from Enterprise! They are cheaper and honest.
They were f***king bastards! They tried to charge me for going 4 miles over my limit but I had to go an extra 12 miles to just get to that location. Then they said my gas wasnt all the way up but I brought it back exactly how I got it! Then they tried to nail me for an extra day for being 10-15 min late.
My return was absolutely horrible my Internet timed out my bank card was still charged however the general manager there has attitude and is very rude when I told him that I was already charged for it because they’re trying to charge my card a second time for $110 in my card declined it
Got into a wreck on Memorial Day weekend where I had rented a trailer for a camping trip for that weekend. Totaled my car. Long story short, I am still fighting these guys for an extra day of charges along with some other late fees. I even called the people at this fine establishment the day the rental was due wherein they told me Well take care of it and call you back. Never received a call back. Never did anything. Now I have to talk with corporate about how inattentive these people are. Never renting from them again.

I have, in my life, rented quite a few times from U-haul and I have never been even remotely as disappointed as I was with my recent experience during and intercity move from San Antonio to Austin.When I arrived at the U-haul dealership at 5810 San Pedro Ave in San Antonio and got in line (something the check-in protocol said Id be able to skip), I watched as it took all 3 service people on duty to assist a single customer who was renting a trailer and a storage unit. 15 minutes into my arrival, when I was finally waited on, the individual finalizing my arrangements was very new and did it incorrectly, necessitating another service person help him to back up and make corrections. While understandable, it took almost 45 minutes to pick up the truck.Despite newer options on the lot and the 90+ mile drive I was about to make, the truck I was issued was one of their older 26 units. It had over 159,000 miles on it, air breaks that whined and hiccuped and difficulty switching between gears. It also had the most body damage I have ever seen on a u-haul, a lot of which was not marked (thankfully, I took pictures before I ever left the lot and asked your person to note the damage for me.)The truck was issued with a bone dry gas tank. When I expressed concern it would run out of gas before I could get to a station with fuel, the service person said well, if that happens just call the number on your contract. Because of the fuel shortages in Texas since the hurricane (since mostly resolved), I actually ended up driving around quite a bit to find a station with gas. It later caused an overage on miles and an additional fee was assessed.Additionally, as the owner of a small, fuel-efficient Japanese car, I dont know how fuel-efficient a 26 foot truck with a 57 gallon tank is supposed to be. When I asked the service person how much gas it would take to drive the 90 miles to Austin, he said Im not sure, you should probably just fill it up to be on the safe side and gave me a fuel credit of 22.00 that was 1/4 tank per my contract. I now know that the answer to how much gas does one need to drive a 26 U-haul truck from San Antonio to Austin is a little over 1/4 tank, or about 16 gallons. Please tell your service person, as it is more important he know this than I.So, lets do some math to elucidate just how much U-haul messed this up and why Im pretty furious– enough to seek other options the next time I move and post this review on Yelp:The truck had a 57 gallon tank.1/4 of which is 14.25 gallons.Gas in Texas is 2.54 a gallon as of 9/9The national average is 2.67 a gallon as of yesterday 9/9.That makes 14.25 gallons about 36.00 - 38.00... which is $14 - $16 less than the 22.00 fuel credit of 1/4 tank.Considering, at the recommendation of their service Person, I put 100.00 of gas into their truck (I am so glad I didnt just fill it up), I essentially gave u-haul 66.00 in gas... in addition to the almost $200 truck and equipment rental. DURING A FUEL SHORTAGE.Down the road, the location in Austin was kind enough to wave mileage overages (accrued during a search for gas to put in a truck their people couldnt be bothered to fuel up) and an extra day that was likely the mistake of the same bonehead who encouraged me to fill the truck. (I clearly told him I would most likely return it the following day.)When I spoke to their service people at the Burnet location in Austin about the scope of the problem, I was advised it was not their problem, to see my contract and that they were just following policy.So thank you, U-haul, for making my move just that much more expensive. I will never rent from you again and I will post this experience on every review site I can find. I am also tempted to report this to the agencies investigating price gouging in the wake of the hurricane... because wouldnt it be convenient if all your customers filled your trucks for you during this fuel crisis?

Have a renting vehicles for 3 years around town, this is the first time renting at this location. Sales associate was very rude when we came in. Be very care and watch all details they will scam you. Watch gas levels when picking up and dropping off.
This is the worst run uhaul facility I have ever been to. The wait is never less than 45 min and there is always an excuse....computers down, employee didnt show up, etc. Today they told me my pick up location had changed and was about an hour away...last time I use this faculty.... Management, which Ive never seen there, really needs to shape up the place. The problem is that they have a monopoly is this area. You should boycott this location.
We were told to return the truck by 11am to not be charged an extra day. My husband dropped it off at 10:52am and they made three different staff members come out to evaluate the truck. They finally ran the receipt at 11:01am (its printed on the receipt) and charged us for an extra day ($60.50). Upon seeing this we called and had to go through a lengthy ordeal to file an official complaint. They called us the next day (Feb 3) and said theyd refund the $60.50. Its been 11 days and the charge is STILL posted, no refund. Ive finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Never doing business with this sneaky group again.
Very professional staff. Friendly and helpful. Dropped off my usual rental trailer here and it was easy.
I was very surprised to bad reviews on this place. I have dealt with this location at least 25 times for my business and I have been very impress with the crew there. I drive a little further just to come to this location.

UHAUL is the worst company to work with when it comes to moving. I recently moved from San Antonio to LA and the entire process has been nothing short of stressful and frustrating. In both locations the majority of workers were incompetent and couldnt answer the simplest of questions. In both locations the employees were more concerned with their own convenience than providing quality customer service. ESPECIALLY in San Antonio. We werent allowed to rent a second U-Box towards the end of the day because the employees said the paperwork would take too long. Really? The only person who was wonderful to work with was the woman delivering our U-Boxes. She was so frustrated with the employees and their lack of customer service towards us that she didnt charge us for the second delivery of the ubox.Any time I had a question about my account I would have to talk to at least 3 or 4 people to get a response. When I tried to write this review on their website - surprise - none of my contact numbers would actually work to write a review. Never using UHAUL again. Not unless they can train their employees to actually answer some questions.
I feel I was ripped off from this store they claim I did 50 miles and all I did is from blanco to potranco rd and back to theyre store. Then I was told I was over charged and then they go back on theyre word so they lost a customer oh and they wont respond to emails everyone becareful
Ive always received good service from these folks when I have needed a rental or a hitch installed.
I rented a trailer once and I got charged for the rental 3 different times May 21, 24 and 31 I called on the 24 and I was told give it another day one should drop off its Friday 31 I check my account and I got charged again.

They charged $60 for 4 hrs, plus a hold charge of $53, which they dont even tell you anything about. They said it was going to go back to my account and nothing yet.
We had to wait about 15 minutes before we had service. Renting a utility van, we got a brand new GMC with only 7 miles, but as I learned that day the alignment was so bad that anything over 50 mph was sketchy. So accident prone vehicle that ruled out the highways and it was brand new. When mentioned not even an offer of a discount, beware.
Terrible! If i could give it 0 stars i would! Not just for this location but uhaul in general. Second uhaul husband visits to get a tow hitch installed in vehicle. After first visit at Southpark location failed, scheduled an appointment for installation at 7am and when he got there they told him he didnt have an appointment so they scheduled him at a later time and then told him they had the wrong part. About 2 weeks later (today) 800 number from uhaul calls husband to tell him they have the part ready and can schedule him. When he asks for location she gives him the street name and bc it didnt sound familiar he found out they scheduled him in Sacramento, CA. Scheduled appointment at San Pedro location today and when he got there at appointment time they told him they didnt even have the right part. Went back to the uhaul at southpark and they told him the part from his first visit was the right part after all. So frustrating. After an hour of the car being at uhaul for the installation they called my husband to tell him they had the wrong bolts. So ridiculous.
Tried to charge me for gas. They said that the gauge was at half. Luckily I took a picture of the gauge before I drove off with the miles. Be careful and make sure you double check things before leaving.
Went to store on Sunday to have hitch install because website wouldnt take my business debit card. Was told the hitch installer was out so I set up appointment for Wednesday. Went in Wednesday but was told installer was out till Thursday. Went in Thursday, installer was at work but was told the hitch would take a week to come it. There was no information on my work order plus they under charged me.They transferred my work order to another store.
Been here over 30 minutes at front desk, 2 employees came by to pick up their drinks, didnt even bother so give customer service to anyone even though theres 10 other ppl waiting like Jack asses, will never return to this location, they literally dont care about customers nor customer service..
This place is awful!! The manager is a pea-brained nit wit who cant admit when hes wrong, likes to overcharge on yiur credit card, then pass the buck to the bank...
The facility is well stocked and someone is always ready to help you.
