Been taking all my cars to Option Muffler for all my muffler needs.Just recently took my sons BRZ and the quality of workmanship is top notch and the pricing is awesome. Now we have a custom exhaust that sounds and looks awesome!!!

I came in with a used performance exhaust and down pipe. It needed some modification, and the took on the job with a smile! Very friendly family owned business. Im not from here and the staff treated my very kindly. My exhaust turned out great and I just mite have to bring my jeep in for some work too!

Ive been trying to reach this shop for nearly two weeks and they never pick up their phone calls. Anyone happens to know if this shop is still open or closed for good??? I dont want to drive for an hour only to find out this shop no longer runs.

I explained to the mechanic how I wanted the exhaust and he understood immediately. While I was waiting for the work to be done, I hung out with the ladies in the office and they were a lot of fun to talk to. The job probably took less than an hour and I was very happy with the result. This was the first time I let anyone work on my car and I was very nervous at first, but they knew what they were doing. So, I would definitely go back. The price was very reasonable and the items they had in stock were fairly priced as well.

The building is small and doesnt look so hot, but everyone there was super nice and had me in and out pretty quick. They replaced just the section of tailpipe that had a hole in it, too, rather than the whole thing. And the price was great! If the rest does end up needing work, I know where Im going! Glad our regular repair shop recommended them.

Great service! Showed up at 8 and they had me drive my car up the lift and verify what I wanted done. Took them about 15 mins to complete my resonator delete. They were super friendly and did great work. Also a great price when compared to everyone else in town, Highly recommend!

Had my catalytic converter replaced, they were friendly and professional. From diagnostic to repair they were exceptionally efficient and forthcoming. They likely have the best cost for service in the area. I highly recommend using Option Muffler if you have the need. I felt like family the whole time I spent with them.

I wanted a rear exit dual exhaust on my truck. I already had my own dual-in dual-out muffler and tips, I just need some custom work with bending the pipe. I’ve had/seen the job done four times on previous vehicles, so I already had certain expectations. After explaining what I wanted, I was quoted a price that I though was very reasonable. The quality of work appeared to be good. Especially considering that the space to work with was very limited and tight. I also appreciated that they continued to work despite their lunch arriving (and getting cold). One month later, I have not had any issues that would suggest that they did a poor job. Therefore, these guys will be my muffler shop of choice for future work.

Rudy and Maria make a great team and exemplify character traits often quite difficult to find in business these days: honesty, integrity and compassion. If you have an issue needing to be addressed, they will let you know...however, and possibly even more importantly, if you do not have something needing to be fixed, they will also let you know that as well. Im the type of customer who is very picky with customer service and quality of service. I always view reviews before i go to a place, so i checked this place out and the receptionist Mary was outstanding! Very informative and patient, Rudy the mechanic and his team did absolutely perfect on my vehicle installing a deep-quiet but aggressive quad exhaust on my audi. I was extremely satisfied since it came out EXACTLY how i imagined it. I was so excited and still am so i will be back to bring my second vehicle in later this month/year for some exhaust work.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I cannot recommend this muffler shop enough! I installed an aftermarket exhaust on my Tahoe and the y-pipe was supposed to be a direct bolt-on, but it turned out *not* to be a direct bolt-on. The main guy at this shop really knows his stuff and was able to do some quick and thorough fabrication to mate the y-pipe to the rest of the stock exhaust system. He didnt bat an eye at the aftermarket headers or the fabrication work involved. Their work was thorough, affordable, and VERY fast. I will be converting the rest of the exhaust to a true-dual exhaust at a later date and I WILL be bringing my Tahoe back to have them work on it again.

WOW! THIS IS THE BEST SHOP IN SAN ANTONIO!!! I took my 1989 325i with E34 motor swap to them and they gave my baby a voice! Previous exhaust was a hack job by me, now it hangs and fits perfect. I called ahead and asked if they had time to look at it, they said, come over we can fit you in ;) I pulled up expecting a quote and they asked me would you like to do it now? Hell yeah! After only under an hour they had quickly transformed my car! Okay now Ive said enough about the quality of work, lets talk prices. Lets just say Meineke quoted me the same job at 11x the price! I was so happy with the price Im making it my mission to squeeze in a fat tip next time I go. I didnt even have to mention it was my birthday to them, which it is. ha ha What a wonderful shop and a stellar day!

Took my C7 vette in to get some work done yesterday. the turn around time was great. Got my car in and did an excellent job in a timely manner. Ensured everything was the way I wanted before finishing up. Friendly staff. I will definitely be returning for future work.

This place is fantastic and does nice clean welds. I’ve had both of my Challengers get their mid-resonators deleted and straight-piped, my Charger with new tips, and another buddy had an x-pipe put on his Vette here. This is a small shop but I’ll take my cars here every time.

Option Muffler Shop offers unparalleled customer service and workmanship for a fantastic price! My husband had his exhaust put on by a different San Antonio muffler shop, and the end result was a leaking, misaligned catback exhaust installation that was melting his rear valance and occasionally rattled off the cars undercarriage. We brought his car in and Option Muffler Shop listened to the exhaust with a stethoscope, identified and repaired a leak, and then realigned the tail pipes, all free of charge! They then agreed to allow me to store my aftermarket exhaust at their shop while I waited for additional parts to come in the following week. My parts arrived earlier than expected, so they had me come in with less than a half hour until close of business, and offered to stay late to complete the job! Instead of using the clamps that came with the exhaust, they welded the pipes together to ensure a leak-free fit, which they, of course, tested before I drove off. They also allowed my husband and I to help install the new rear valance while the car was on the lift, thus ensuring perfect alignment of the tail pipes. Not only does the exhaust sound phenomenal, but they completed the entire job for less than I was quoted from two other shops! This is, hands-down, one of the friendliest and best establishments Ive ever been to. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Make A Long Story Short, When He Was Done I Checked His Worked, He Welded The Dump Pipes Right Next To The Brake Line. When I Asked Him If That Could Possibly Melt My Line, He Said YES, REALLY!!!!!!!! I Asked If He Could Possibly Move It Back Some, He Did Of Course With (Wait For It) AN ATTITUDE. Anyways 2 To 3 Months Later I Was Doing A Oil Change When I Noticed My Brake Line Looked Like It Was Starting To MELT FROM THE HEAT FROM THE EXHAUST. So Me And The Cousin Had To Replace My Brake Line And Reposition And Reweld My Exhaust The Right DISTANCE. The Office Ladies Was Friendly Though.

Love this place, honestly the best shop Ive been to in San Antonio. I needed to do some adjustments to my exhaust and take off put on kinda deal, and they will do that for you without any issues. I got straight pipes one week and went back the next to add one resonator and see what it sounded like and they gladly did it. Other shops will tell you they dont have time or you have to pay to weld it on then well it off and add whatever else you want. But not here, they will literally do whatever you want on your car and will do it the right way the first time! And cant forget to mention their prices, the best Ive seen as well. Other shop on grissom not saying names, but they wanted about $380 for a pair of tips and muffler delete. Im like whaaaaaaaaaat? So yea, come to this place, you will see why its the best. Just dont be stupid and come at a time its packed and expect to be there less than 30 minutes. Come at a decent time and have them take care of you.

Excellent local shop. I purchased a BMW M3 that they had installed a Magna Flow system on. The placement of the Magna Flow caused alot of noise on the interior of the car. Rudy was an artist. He relocated the muffler to the rear and crafted the required pipe bends. Great job! Car still has the great growl but now its not inside the car.

When i first found this shop i didnt know what to expect i asked if they can put a flowmaster exhaust on and i wanted it to be dual exhaust out the back and theyre able to do everything perfect I had the flowmaster 40 series and now Im thinking of changing it to the flowmaster 10 series I will take my truck to that shop every time I need anything done with the exhaust system and even put on a universal catalytic converter for me too and the pricing for everything is definitely worth it WAY cheaper than anywhere else and Ive never been to another shop but I would have to say this is the best shop in San Antonio

Stopped by for a muffler leak repair, charged me $25 for my repair but when I left I noticed there was still a noisy leak. Went back and they told me there were too busy to repair it come back next week. Customer service people, now I need to go somewhere else. Thanks option mufflers
