This is a great store however, the online service is a complete MESS. I ordered a driver for my son who was looking forward too, and wanted to surprise him for his birthday for making varsity at his high school. Well… of course they were fast enough to charge me for the driver as well as for the expedited shipping and took advantage silly me trying to get the gift to my kid as soon as possible….. world wide golf is a scam. They messed up my order and failed to give me answers about it. I am yet waiting to hear from them regarding when I will receive my order (SINCE THEY ALREADY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD) save yourself some time and walk in the shop, they are great people, but the website or father company does not live to their or our expectations.

Fantastic customer service experience. Got custom fitted for the new Callaway irons. I would highly recommend going and visiting this store for any of your golf needs. Their staff is extremely professional and has great knowledge of the product lines they have in stock. Never a pressure sale - which allowed me to play a little before deciding on clubs.

Have been here in the past but this time really warranted the 5 star. Previous experience was sketchy as the service was mediocre, probably because I am not a big spender. That said, this time my budget wasnt as limited but here I go with the same attitude and approach to buying my gear. Guess what? The service was top notch. They matched Amazons price, and was more than happy to help with my meager purchase. Cant say I would have recommended them before, but based upon this visit, the folks their have earned my repeat visit. They are friendly, will happily talk golf, and really worked to make sure I was happy with my purchase.

Aaron is always helpful. Multiple times Ive been able to get re-gripped and lie adjustments on the spot. Takes the time to answer questions and watches putts/swing. Reason I choose Edwin Watts over any other spot around the area.

Stopped therefor the first time to look for a new driver. I was fortunate to have Tony work with me to meet my needs. He spent the time necessary to help me select the best club for my skill level and also provided some tips about improving my game.

Wow! I was going to write a review saying how awful and unwelcome I felt in this store. It seems like I’m not the only one who feels this way. After so many bad reviews saying almost the same exact thing, TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM! Not one employee ever said a word to me and I was there for almost an hour. I don’t want to say they are racist because I don’t know, but I see a lot of people with Hispanic last names writing the same reviews. Oh well, I went and spent my $1600 at golf galaxy and received great service and got some brand new Callaways! Thanks for nothing!

I went there with my husband. In my opinion the associate that assisted him was an average representative. If it was me I wouldnt have bought anything. They have plenty of accessories and evrything you may need to play golf though. Its a shame that with time is harder to find nice and attentive personal on the sales side.

Today is the second time I have been in this store to purchase clubs. The have absolutely no desire to sell to women apparently because I am not even acknowledged, while men who parade through the door are greeted and helped. This happened the first time I was in there as well, but I thought I would give them a second chance. Too bad because I was ready to make a set purchase, but I guess it was just ridiculous that I was expecting customer service at a golf shop. What was I thinking, in my silly little woman brain? So, if any of you know if a golf shop who appreciates selling to women please share that info.

Great guys that work here. They are the reason why I come to them for all my club work. Aaron has always been extremely helpful and gone out of his way to help educate me on aspects of the game that I’m lacking in. Their prices are always decent. I’m glad we have this store i. San Antonio!

The store is packed with customers so thats great. The staff helped me getting the correct equipment 4 my grandson who is now playing golf.

I believe this place is 4.5-4.8 but definitely higher than a 4. San Antonio does not have good golf shops with the exception of this one. The selection is good for new stuff; prices are high even when things are on sale. Staff is professional and courteous.

Went in to either have some work done on my clubs or get a new set. I had mine fixed, the staff here is amazing and very patient with people who don’t know much about golf. They have earned my business from here on out.

Hit or miss. First time I went, had a great experience. One of the trainers helped me correct something a Golf Galaxy member grossly misjudged (recommended I get an undersized grip vs the midsize I needed, 2 sizes up).That said, today I walked into the swing bay fully intending to buy a new Ping 410 hybrid. The rep who I was trying to get to assist demoing it b-lined out of the bags right as I was entering and hid at the front.Just when I thought I finally found a reliable golf shop in SA...

Awful customer service and very unwelcoming atmosphere! My 6 year old was so excited to buy bigger clubs. He went in to buy some with my husband and nobody bothered to help. They were just looked at and 100% ignored. Shame on your staff! We will take our business elsewhere.

Visited to shop for a couple wedges. The staff was very helpful and spend a lot of time with me to go through different options, prices, etc. They were knowledgeable and ended up regripping some clubs for free. This is now my go-to for golf equipment.

This place is garbage!!! Customer service is garbage! I went in to trade in a few clubs and buy a new driver... I guess because Im a military age male I dont get any help... Im looking at buying a 500$ driver and no one asks if they can help. I had to go up to the desk to figure out what my clubs where worth even after they said they would come find me and help...ya great help!! They had one extra stiff driver in the entire store... once the sales rep knew I wanted an extra stiff he basically gave up.. no effort in trying to sell me anything or order anything... I felt like a second class citizen in this dumb store.. I have been a long time Edwin watts and Roger Dunn supporter.. I will never step foot in one of there stores again or spend another cent there. Very upset!

The staff here is very helpful, and they also offer club repair services. Huge selection. They also have indoor simulators and a nice putting area.

Every time I go into the store I get the feeling I am not welcome. For example as I enter the store the attendants at the desk all turn and look at me and then turn away without saying a word. I have to wonder do they treat everyone who comes in the store that way or is it a select few.

I went to Golfsmith first and didnt feel like I got any attention. I came here and James was really helpful. Didnt feel like I was being pressured whatsoever. Bought some sweet irons and Im excited to get out on the course with them!

If you want to lower your handicap, go see Baird. Hes taken me from a 10 to a 5, and hes working on getting rid of my 15 year casting problem. I hope to break par this summer...Go see Baird. You wont regret it. Great teaching style. Great communicator.

The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible! While standing in line to check out behind a large group a gentleman cuts in front of me speaks to a gentleman behind the counter in another language and the gentleman proceeds to check this individual out completely ignoring those Standing in line before him! I asked aloud, why stand in line if youre going to check out random individuals who just happen to speak the same language as you? After ignoring me the first time the gentleman responds with, waiti in line someone will be with you shortly! Unacceptable! I will encourage people within my organization not to support this store!

Spoke to John on the phone about a driver and he was very easy to talk to and very willing to help. In person it was the same. Very easy to work with. Not pushy, no high pressure sales. I would buy from John because he was the opposite-patient, more than willing to help.
