Went in early on Saturday, got exactly what we needed. Had a great selection of fishing equipment. David at the door was very nice.

Nice, clean store full of so many things! They even carry spices and flavorings for cooking! Theres a BEAUTIFUL gas bar b que grill that Ive been dreaming about owning from this store. Wishing one day to see it in use in my own backyard. They even have SOLAR cell phone chargers for under $20! You should come see for yourself. And if you have the Academy credit card, you can get 5% off your purchases EVERY DAY! WHAT A DEAL!!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR CREDIT CARD. This was my sons first credit card and boy will it be his last! He didnt see the due date because it is not posted on the payment voucher. You have to read the fine print to find it. He payed two days late on a purchase of 37 bucks and was charged 29 bucks for a late fee!!! This is outrageous and in a pandemic!!! BEWARE!!!

Its soccer time for my daughter and 1. Our last time here we purchased the same thing but the Pandemic hit. Now we back a year later lets try this again.

There were no messy aisles, nothing strewn on the rows of products and no clothes on the floor. The shoe area was totally picked up and inventory was easy to comb thru and find what youre looking for. I like going to this Academy store. Even the guy who rang up our purchase was friendly, yet professional. The parking lot was clean and no trash floating around.

Love Academy! Its always my go to place for any type of outdoor gear. They have a great selection, great prices, and friendly staff. We were here to buy a pool today. They were able to help us in locating the right one, and a couple of the employees helped load the large, heavy, box into my car. Academy has my business for life!

Love this store BUT. Just they need more cashiers. When there are only 2 and there are 4+ people waiting in each line yall need to put more cashires in. Its not fair to the two who are working and they get irate customers. Also good grief have yall tried finding a shoe in your store? There is no rhyme or reason to how you stack your shoes. If I cant find a shoe in 5+ mins Im shopping online not at Academy. Just FYI. Over all the store was clean and neat and everything else was easy to find.

Dropped in for a few mens shirts, specific belt I wanted, and looked at some tackle. It seems the loop 410 location didnt have my size shirt but they did.It was a family shopping day so had my girls look around as well and told them to grab what they wanted.

Store was great. Cleaning was on point. Did not like their selection in coolers. I found one and got it. It was the one with less scrapes and damage to it. Their selection im assuming took a beating while shipping and stocking it. Most of them had some sort of defect to them. Not much to pick from either.

Tried to get help with bows for 40 min, none of the employees could be bothered to try to help. Waste of my afternoon I should have known better...

Not so hot. The whole time I was able there I could get no help, but several clumps of employees standing around laughing joking and seemingly having fun. So cust svc sucked

It is my nearest location but I decide not to go there anymore. It’s not about Academy Sport but the staffs and services.1. I bought a bike from this location. Someone helped me selecting the bike I want. The guy that help me has no knowledge of biking. He just walked around and gone. He could not even differentiate between 24 and 26 bike rim. The bike that I bought got a flat tire. I brought it back to the store and met with the same guy. He checked the bike and told me swap another one. However, he was disappear from the scene. I have to pull down the bike and get it myself.2. Customer service and cashier are so unprofessional. I was at the store at 6pm and no counter was opened. Few people come and check out at the customer service desk. I was waiting to switch the bike. A lady in staff uniform walked by and help nothing. Thank to the guy at the front door. He could not stand with his college attitude and came to help.I wonder how these people got the jobs.

Service was great, prices werent as competitive as I had hoped with another store that sells the same type of stuff. Either way Ill probably still check it out when the need arises

Great place for out door stuff including camping gear, ice chests, swimming gear, life vests for boats. Also, they limited amounts of ammo, but they have it. Also a good place to get knives and machetes. They sports gear too

HAD STOCK OF ALL PRODUCTS EASY TO FIND.

Footwear department is a disaster. Has been since the day the store opened. The runs are no where in order and everything is so out of place from the display to the actual item. The lack of customer service is even worse than the zoning. Asked an employee if another location had the size I needed, and was told I could look online.

Great 16 bike selection for my 5yo toddler! A lot of other stores didnt have anything her size.

I love this store. The selection, sales, and staff. It was hard to decide on what to buy, with so many different things in the store.

A bit frustrated with my visit to academy. I received a coupon in the mail and kept trying to order online for curbside pickup in order to avoid getting in and being around crowds after Thanksgiving. The items I needed and wanted could not be ordered for delivery or curbside either one. Did not have a choice but to go into the store. Went into the store and come to find out the coupon expired the night before. They would not allow me to purchase a gift card to make up the difference in using my coupon but then also told me I could not use the coupon because it had expired the day before. I realize I could have tried to buy something else just to use the $20 off but what was the point if its not what I wanted or needed? Pretty frustrated that they could not bend for one day especially with all this covid pandemic going on. I take care of my mother who is a high risk person so did not make sense for me to go out 1,000 of other people were out. I hated even going in today but felt I had no choice. Turns out it was a wasted trip not to mention a risky one for no reason. Very disappointed

Look for ammo on a 38 special, cant find any in stock. The ammo is hard to find & frustrating.

Only problem is the gun and ammunition dept. Ammunition is at an all time low. As well as certain maybe all guns. But it is because of the pandemic and cant really be helped. Im sure they are try their best!

Not a very enjoyable experience. Karen us alive and well at this location. Every time I looked up she was eyeing me with disdain. And one of the managers actually thought I was a thief until they saw i bought over $300 worth of merchandise. This will be my last visit and purchase from Academy.

Wouldve given 4 stars, but its not their fault COVID lunacy has gripped the country... not talking about mask requirements... Im talking about in stock ammo and exercise equipment. This Academy, like most, is clean, well lit, well organized, and unlike some, seem to be very vigilant and aware of register line sizes and quickly open more if needed. Employees are kind and helpful and plentiful.

Accommodating and just all around outstanding customer service, from the the guy that works in the fishing area, that came over to help with a basketball goal, to the cashier and all the way out the door to load our vehicle. My husband and I drove from Converse Texas. It was worth it!!!

We stopped at the 1604 & Military location. They did not have the item in stock but the young man helping us called another store, very close by, and told us they had 3 in stock. We now own one of those 3. Thank you Academy Sports.

So disappointing going to this store to just get fusterated with the laziness of the kids they hire. Constantly I have look up prices on fishing poles and gear. I spent some good money in there lately and regret it because I was sold a baitcasting rod with my spinning reel I happen figure it out later before my trip. Took it back un used asked if I could swap it out that moment and they said yes but kid put the money back on my card which took 5 days to go back in account so I was out 109 bucks with no rod to fish with I planned for. Constantly this store fails me they also put knots on my baistcasting reel with braided power pro line I purchased from them. it was in a first cast when I found out it had knots and lost 100 yards of line.They also sold me a used buddy heater that was repacked box but missing the stand for propan bottle tank. Id double check anything they do, i no longer shop at academy because of these issues.

Store was very well kept, and was able to find the ammo we needed rather easy, I bought quite a lot of summer clothing too. Thank you to the manager for acknowledging my first responder husband and for going the extra mile. This academy is out of our way but with the service we received, we choose this one every time.

Good selection of outdoor apparel and goods. The store is always very clean and organized.

4 stars overall due to their prices and the knowledge of the sales associates. The pros are the overall selection of outdoor sports equipment and you can sometimes find ammo on thier restock days. The main Con is their clothing is almost always overpriced. However, you can usually find some really decent deals on shoes during the holidays.

My experience was not so good 😕 had a hard time getting an umbrella out of rack cause they were jammed together so tight i will not be going back

This location always has what I need and am looking for. This store is very clean and maintained. And Academy has the best prices compared to anywhere else one of the reasons I like this company great deals. Plus I have been wait over 10 years for them to put a store in this area.
