I brought my Jeep in here a couple weeks ago as someone had kicked/hit it with some kind of object multiple times - I had to get a few doors and I think the hood replaced and was on a timeline. They made this happen for me, were super communicative through the whole process, and the car looks perfect - paint/parts/etc. Would highly recommend for body repairs, and probably everything else, too! Erin helped me and she was awesome.
Extremely confusing area to find, but cant fault the place for it, with maybe the exception of some extra signage. Had a quote done, seemed a bit extreme but also need to do my research in all fairness. Overall the place seems well run, and *most* of the staff had helpful and friendly attitudes.
I called this company about 3 weeks ago for some information on getting my bumper. I already had the claim form the insurance so it should have been pretty straight forward. The phone call wasnt very assuring. The person I was speaking to sounded rather jaded and unconcerned about 1) getting business and 2) customer service.When I arrived, she was on lunch. Someone else helped me out. He seems more uninterested and unbothered by the whole ordeal. Maybe my expectation where too high but its hard to have high expectations when they werent even that hard to meet in the first place. I didnt get a call back or any sort of notification regarding my appointment. I didnt take my car in, needless to say. The lack of customer service and professionalism was enough of an answer to not take it here.
I dropped my truck off 9/13 for what was supposed to be an estimated 3 day repair. The shop said theyd have the truck for 3 to 5 days to repaint a front facing trim piece that had been scraped by another vehicle trying to park. on 9/17 I called to see if my truck was done. I was told I would receive a call back from my advisor. 2 hours before they close for the day I had still not received a call back. I called again and asked and they said it was not done. I told them I needed items from it since it was not scheduled originally to be there over the weekend. They told me I may not be able to get items from it if it is in paint. Ultimately, when I get there to retrieve items I find that they have taken 5 days for disassembly and to do initial prep work on the trim piece which had still not been painted. They told me it would be done Monday 9/20. Finally, I call them on 9/22 and they say that it was done and that I hadnt received a call because they hadnt finished the paperwork for it. I pick it up and they said $0 due and I had to remind them that I had received partial payment from insurance that we had spoken about last week. They acted like it was the first theyd heard of it. I get the truck home to realize that the paint has flaws in it and my invoice showed it was ready 9/21. Not happy with quality, communication, or time.

Absolutely disgusted with this collision center. They should not be Jeep certified & should be ashamed to run a business like this. My 2019 Jeep rubicon was rear ended and I was recommended here by Jeep Sunroad & it was being repaired here for two weeks. I picked up my Jeep today and was disgusted by the poor quality of job they did. From cheap used parts like the spare tire, scratched rim and over spray, to my tailgate & hinges not painted properly & shutting correctly, to chipped paint on the body, scratched panels & lose parts. Keep in mind that my Jeep was just purchased two months ago fresh off the lot & my spare tire & rim was not used and was brand new. I have no words to describe how angry I am and I do not understand how they think it is ok to return a vehicle like this. PLEASE if you take your vehicle PLEASE CHECK YOUR VEHICLE ALL AROUND! I DO NOT recommend anyone to do business with this collision center because you will be let down, disappointed, frustrated and angry with the results. Here are some pictures.
Nothing can express how absolutely frustrated I have been with working with Sunroad Collision. I 100% regret coming to them with my car after my accident.On April 8th someone had slammed into my vehicle while my car was parked in my apartment complex parking lot. Per Kearny Mesa Subarus recommendation, I took my car to Sunroad Collision.I was without my car for 35 days with very little communication or updates on the repair of my vehicle. Any call to ask for updates on when my car would be completed or an updated ETA on completion time was met with Todd will call you back. Any call from Todd would simply be Were working on it, Ill let you know when its ready.Any collision is going to be a stressful experience, but this experience was DREADFULAfter finally getting my car back I had to return several times to get it looked at.1. Doors wouldnt close properly. - I was told that because theyre new theyll be like that, keep using them and theyll go back to normal They didnt go back to normal, I had to get then adjusted.2. My mudflap had completely fallen right out and was hanging from my car after driving it less than 20 miles. - Was there no quality check to make sure everything with the car was good before sending it out?3. The WORST part of the experience that cause me to to write a review. A year after getting my car back, I was told that my rear tires were worn down to the tread. I have a 2020 Subaru with 17000 miles and my treads are gone on only the back tires?After doing research, I found out that Sunroad never performed an alignment on my vehicle AT ALL.Their excuse: We cant do alignments checks unless we see something wrong with the tires or the insurance will question us.You think another car slamming into the side of my parked car wouldnt cause an alignment issue?Needless to say, I would not recommend Sunroad to anyone. They arent even covered by State farm anymore, probably because of complaints of their terrible service. They wouldnt even accept that they messed up by not checking their alignment and said Sorry Statefarm doesnt cover you here anymore so you have to go somewhere to else

Straight to the point they know what theyre doing especially when it comes to paint. The 2 ladies one being Erika unfortunately I forgot the name of the other helpful lady they were very helpful as so was Todd who kept me on the loop from when my truck would be done. They even gave my truck a good detail clean which I appreciate soo much. This place deserves more than just 3.6 stars.
From when I first walked in I felt I was in good hands. The office staff was attentive and gathered my details quickly. Todd came over immediately, and sat down with me and explained the process, the next day I got a detailed estimate of what needed to be done. I dropped by to get a paper copy, and a detailed explanation of parts and terms. I was reassured that my airbag sensors were still working, too. He kept in contact with me every couple of days with the progress. Enterprise, at the same address, my reservation that Sunroad had made, had a rental ready. When I picked up my car, it was AWESOME, clean and shiny and drove like a dream. THANK YOU ALL!
Todd and his team is great! Worth the wait for the car to look like it did the day it got it.I bought my car with premium paint on my car they matched it up perfectly.I wonder if their detail shop takes customers on the side. Theyre good.The ladies at the front desk are attentive and courteous.It was a great experience after a bad car wreck.I like their automated emails when your car moves to the next phase in repair.

These guys did a great job on my truck. I expected it to be fresh and clean when done... but man!... they detailed it and it looks better than new.. and its a 2002!Great job guys.. I really appreciate the extra effort!

I came here after being rear ended and Sunroad was able to complete the job in about a week and a half. The job they did was phenomenal and made my car look brand new. The staff there was amazing and friendly (especially Tiffany who helped me when I picked up my car). I highly recommend this place and will be coming back if I ever get in an accident (which I hope I never do again).
Very honest competent work. The customer service here is way above average. They are fast and friendly, even on a busy Monday morning, with free shuttle service to and from your house. They had the chance to make money on me on the door dings that I have acquired over time, instead they referred me to a mobile specialist that they use, and he was very reasonable.

My experience at sunroad was horrific. The director Stephen claimed to have fixed my bumper, but ended up breaking a bracket on the inside. After taking the car back, he walked away in the middle of our conversation and blamed me. I highly recommend staying far away from this company. They are corrupt and have no respect for their customers whatsoever.
I would not recommend this place as we had a very bad experience with them. The manager was not wanting to listen to my complaints and made me feel like he did not have the time of day for me. I complained multiple times and requested resolution which I feel I has to fight tooth and nail with them. I informed my insurance company and complaint against them. Final solution I was authorized by my insurance to take my car to a Better and more reputable place to resolve our problems.We only used Sunroad because they are the certified Honda repair place but we wont be taking our cars to them ever again unless its a warranty issue.They tried their best but failed in my eyes and in our insurance companies eyes as well which they are now looking into this issues since they happened to be a certified company with them. Keep it up and you wont be for much longer.
Took my Jeep in to get the door fixed because someone tried to break into my car. Replaced the door and fixed another dent in just 2 days! Even washed and detailed my car for me for free!!!Would highly recommend this place! They went above and beyond!
The staff here is amazing, they all are very happy and upbeat. I dont know how i can show my gratitude after they calmed me down and reassured me after my accident. They worked with the insurance, gave me updates and got my suv back on the road faster than expected. I am forever grateful and inpressed by them all.
The service here is exceptionally courteous and friendly. I have done business at this place more than once because of a lack of parking skills on my part. The repainting of my bumper was perfect the first time, the second time I had the same bumper painted (my bumper lost a fight with my gate when I parked too close to it) I was not satisfied with the job, so they redid it for no charge and made it perfect. When the job took a few days longer than expected, they reimbursed me for the rental vehicle I was in. The work here is amazing and the customer service is very friendly professional and polite, a real pleasure to come here and I will go nowhere else. 5 stars for the service and for making my 2013 white GT Mustang look brand new again. I frequently enter my car into car shows and take it to car meets so I appreciate their attention to detail, one can never tell that anything has happened.

Staff was unacceptably rude. Candy was merely insufferable but Todd was downright hostile and accusatory. Asking to pay you for a diagnosis is not jacking up insurance claims its asking you to fairly estimate the damage. Collision literally almost cost Kia a sale, that you would treat prospective customers like this is unimaginable and shows your work ethic

This collision center is hands down the best in San Diego. I used them a year ago when my car was unfortunately totaled, so when I got hit again, I knew without a doubt where to go. My car took about a month to get fixed, and they called me with updates every step of the way. I was having a very rough day when I got the call that my car was ready. Two very special ladies, Cynthia and Tiffany, turned my bad day into a good one as soon as I got there. They helped me get my belongings from the rental, helped me put them in my car, and even entertained my four month old just so I could sit down and breathe for a minute. I left out feeling like I made two new friends. I HIGHLY recommend Sunroad for all of your collision repair needs!
Reposting this everywhere I can think of - these guys are that bad.Horrible shop, dont take your car here if youre in an accident. My car was supposed to be done in 3-4 weeks. They ended up jerking me around for 6 weeks. They kept stringing me along and always the day before it was supposed to be done they would tell me they found something else wrong. Like the tailgate doesnt close - You had my car for 4 weeks at this point, you just noticed this a day before Im supposed to come pick it up???I finally come in to pick it up after 6 weeks and theres a big nick in the tailgate. Fine, theyll fix it, one more day. Come back the next day, take the car and the pretty soon notice that the muffler is bouncing around all over the place. They didnt attach the muffler. Take it in for another day.The insurance company stuck me with the bill for the rental. Even the insurance guy commented on how incompetent this body shop must be to take a repair that should have taken 3 weeks and drag it out like this. To add insult to injury I asked Sunroad to provide me with documentation of why it took so long so I could claw back some rental reimbursement from Infinity insurance. They completely blew me off. I ended up getting money back without their help, after going back and forth with infinity insurance.This shop is horrendous, stay away.

My brand new Jeep was put in exceedingly ineffective hands. On top of clumsy alignment and damaged parts that were ordered new, I didnt get 4 hours north of SD without breaking down due to a part installed incorrectly.My well-kept 2015 Wrangler now sits uneven due to what I believe is the front coil installed incorrectly, the brand new replaced fender has a poorly-patched scratch, dust plate is scraping the rotor, interior panels were not carefully re-installed, and the vehicle steers to the right above 5mph. I have an appointment at my Jeep dealership this week in order to truly see what has been done to my vehicle.Their response to this situation assumed full responsibility on insurance, which speaks wonders about the empty pride in their work. The representative staff are friendly, but in the end, I was cheated of the vehicle condition I was promised. If you care about the quality of your vehicle, do not trust Sunroad Collision with your repairs.
I took my car there to have it repainted. For starters they overshot their deadline of having my car ready by almost a week and a half. It seemed like there was no sense of communication and very dysfunctional. They called to say my car was ready but two minutes later the manager called saying that a worker had scraped my left fend and that it wouldnt be ready until after the weekend. After that it was not ready until Tuesday. I personally would not recommend them to anyone, and I will not be bringing them anymore business.
There was a cable hanging out of the overhead behind my rearview mirror that I didnt notice initially when I picked up my truck. I had to bring my truck back in for them to connect what turned out to be my satellite radio antenna.
Helpful staff. We were told the bumper will be replaced, however they put the same one back and repainted it.

Horrible customer service.Todd the estimating guy was rude, unprofessional and didnt want to give me an estimate on repairs on my car unless he was guaranteed that I was going to have him repair my car.Just bad business when theres 200+ repair shops in San Diego

No matter how expensive it is, itβs not worth it for four hours, four hundred dollars, taxes and tips! No matter whether you repair or not, you will pay the money first, and you will not receive the money next time! Today, my black is enough for their family to spend half a year! Ah, ah, ah!
