I trust Andy and his team. Ive been going to Western Auto for almost 5 years for oil changes, tune ups, and inspections. If you dont have auto repair knowledge or you are femme identifying (and dont want to be treated like youre stupid), go to Andy. Andy performed the inspection of my 2005 Scion TC when I put it up for sale in 2018. It was Andys inspection that helped me sell for a fair price. Another reason I appreciate Andy is his moral and ethical stance on how he operates his business on the foundation of trust through high quality and safe auto work for repeat customers. He has experience working at big dealships and left that work culture because he didnt want to continue in the unethical practices of dealerships that are the norm - scaringfscaring into getting new equipment or services to make commission off them because the customers dont have car repair knowledge. Andy always communicates your options, the prices, and the short and long term consequences of the various options. He is throrough in his explanations and cares about his customers. Make an appointment, especially if you have schedule constraints, he does get booked, so an appointment is the easiest way to ensure fast service the day you bring your car in. I will always be Andys loyal customer because of how he treats his staff and customers.

An unexpected car problem happened with my Honda Pilot off the 805 freeway & University Avenue, I asked Siri for the nearest Honda repair shop and was directed to this car shop. I barely made it! A special SHOUT OUT thank you to Andy and all his staff for their professionalism, honesty, and quality work on my car. Then, also had the battery die on me and they provided service to my residence, which I am extremely grateful to them for their support! They have definitely earned my business. I searched on internet which Honda Specialist Repair Shop in San Diego will accommodate and repair my Saturn Vue with Honda engine on it specifically J35A3 and they are the only one who welcome me. Ive been told by the other shops that they only repair Japanese brand car and my Vue is a GM.Im very satisfied with their service. Andy is very welcoming and very nice service advisor. I know that its hard to find a shop that you can trust this days but I trusted this guys especially when it comes to the engine itself.If you want a great service at the right price, just come in here. I assure you. Your car is in good hands.

Great repair shop very knowledgeable and honest, my wife took her car there a couple months back and they diagnosed and fixed it. Car is running great. Highly recommend! Took my Acura RDX 2007 in and they treated it with love and care. Had a hideous dent Id had for years and never dealt with it. They fixed it up beautifully and my car looks like new. They even realigned my tires at no charge. Andy is a great to work with. Clearly explains everything and is honest. Ill be taking my Acura here from now on!
