Outstanding dive team! They keep my hull in great shape and are very fair with their billing. My wife accidentally dropped some keys over the side and Brian was able to retrieve them. Another time I won a years worth of bottom cleaning from a competitor. After about 3 months I told the competitor not to touch my boat and went back to Brians team. I will not make the mistake of leaving Dockside Divers ever again.

Im on my third boat using Dockside Divers. Brian and his crew are very professional. They ALWAYS do a good job. Their prices are fair and everyone of them has been a pleasure to work with. I recently purchased a new center console powerboat. The dealer forgot to put zinc anodes on the trim tabs. Having new bottom paint, the boat did not need to be cleaned for a few months but a diver came out anyway just to take an underwater look. He immediately spotted that there were no anodes on the trim tabs and let me know about it so I could have the dealer rectify the problem. This simple thing saved me a bunch of grief later on. I am extremely appreciative of his attention to detail!!

I am the former owner of Cruising Yachts, the largest yacht dealer on the West Coast. Very simply, I wouldnt let anyone other than Dockside Divers touch our boats. Always reliable, always professional and always very responsive to our needs. I recommend them without qualification based on years of experience having them clean our boat hulls.

DONT USE DOCKSIDE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Let me start off by saying I have used Dockside Divers as my boat cleaning service for 3 years now. After having issues in the past with overcharging for work I did not authorize I told Brian to please never just assume I will pay for services before we discuss the problem. My cleaning bill is normally $70 per 3 or 4 weeks, depending on the season. Fast forward to a year later and again they performed work without asking. I go to pay my normal monthly bill and was shocked to see a bill for $450 for the second time. I contacted him about the problem and he agreed to adjust my bill accordingly. During this phone call he told me they would be switching to a 4 week cleaning schedule until next spring. The last cleaning on my boat was on 11/27/17 so I assumed the next would be around Christmas time....got to my boat today (12/13/17) and they are cleaning it again? 2 weeks later?? They also told me it looked like the zincs were already pretty worn only 4 weeks after they had supposedly just been replaced? (the reason for the $450 charge) Were they ever even replaced? The divers then told me they wouldnt be back until the second week of January. So again I called Brian and said whats up? 3 cleanings within a 6 week period, AFTER just telling me we were moving to a 4 week schedule? I told him it was very unprofessional to just assume I would pay for an additional cleaning without prior consent and he told me I would now have to find a new cleaning service! I was shocked. After 3 years of paying this company (probably in the neighborhood of $3,000 + ) hes telling me I have to find a new company because I said it was unprofessional to charge for services I didnt ask them to perform?! Ridiculous. Still not sure if you get it or not, but that IS very unprofessional. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!

The owner, Brian, is completely unreasonable and treats contractors unfairly. My husband saw a chiropractor for a muscle strain that happened while at work. He needed time to heal but wanted to come back to work ASAP as we have bills to pay like anyone else. Brian concluded in his own mind that my husband simply didnt want it and told him he wasnt actually injured and let him go. If this is how he treats his employees, I cant imagine how he treats his customers

I hired dockside divers to inspect my propellor after it had fallen off and had been reinstalled by a recreational diver while we were at Twin Harbors on Catalina Island. In August, Brian sent me an invoice and said the propellor was all set. I paid the invoice. 2 months later the prop fell off again and I called him about it. He asked me if I had used the boat since they finished their work and I said yes. He essentially said it wasnt their problem. Not the kind of customer service that I would expect from a professionally run business.
