Navel, daith, and conch all doing really well. Isaac is cool and professional and makes you feel very comfortable. They also went out of their way to go to a nearby store to find a different jewelry I wanted for the navel which was really nice.

I had the best piercing experience with Isaac at Sideshow Tattoo and Piercing! He as well as other staff were very professional and friendly. It was my first cartilage piercing but isaac made me feel comfortable and it didn’t hurt that much. A week later and the piercing is pain free and looks good!

Walked in on a Friday night when they were busy and they were able to fit me in. I got my second lobe piercings and they turned out amazing. I’m in love with them. They really took their time making sure the piercing was how I wanted it and the pricing was really good!

Went here first for my nose piercing, walked in and only waited about 30 minutes on a Friday night. Really quick and friendly people working here! Had absolutely no issues with the piercing and it looks great. Went back for a tattoo about a week later, only waited 5 minutes for a walk in on a Saturday night. Got a Friday the 13th tattoo here yesterday and was extremely disappointed. The person who did my tattoo (an apprentice ?) seemed like he had never held a tattoo gun in his life. While tattooing my arm, he had me rest it on a paper towel roll over the back of a folding chair. My arm was literally twisted around as he was tattooing me, so the tattoo was bound to come out lopsided. Extremely unprofessional. The tattoo itself looks horrible and nothing like the stencil. Went back to the shop expecting some kind of help or at the very least a refund since I now have to get it removed. They said they can cover it or “fix it” through shading but that really doesn’t help me; I don’t particularly like shading and there is literally no way to fix crooked line work. Not sure why they can’t refund a badly-done $50 tattoo. An hourglass with minimal detail should not be this difficult to execute. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Isaac pierced my daith & I can honestly say it was the least painful piercing I have gotten! (And I have over 15 piercings) He was super knowledgeable on the piercing and healing process. I will most definitely be coming back to add more bling to these ears :)

He took one look at my nose and knew the exact size ring to fit my anatomy. I then went back in the following weeks for a rook piercing and conch piercing. I decided to come here to get a third earring hole on both ears and to fix my “botched” existing earring holes. The staff was so attentive and friendly and didnt make me wait at all which was awesome! The piercer spent a lot of time making sure that both ears were identical to each other which I appreciated A LOT as I did a lot of research on where to go. Im so glad I came here because he executed the job perfectly and he was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable as he could prob tell I may have been a bit nervous. My tattoo artist was Ronin. The first photo is what I got and the second photo is what I wanted. Overall I like the tattoo, I believe that some of the lines in the elephants are not straight and could’ve been better. As you can see there are some inconsistencies in this tattoo. Once he was done and I looked at it in the mirror I was unable to see the mistakes made since it’s on the back of my shoulder. Hoping I could get a more experienced tattoo artist to fix this in the future.

Came in to get a nostril piercing and it came out great! My piercer was Issac and he was super easy going and professional, he was quick and kept a super clean station. Jedi was great! Two of my friends and I walked into the shop Saturday. We all got very different styles of tattoos and Jedi was able to accommodate them all. For my tattoo, I didnt have a specific image of the swallow bird I wanted but I showed him a couple examples of the style I liked. We picked one out together & he sketched it out really quickly. His advice for placement & size were spot on. Definitely a much better result than I would have guessed for a spontaneous walk-in

Isaac is an extremely skilled and efficient piercer. I have experienced the lowest amount of pain with my piercings with him as opposed to other places. He also will give you good jewelry recommendations based on your ear (or other body part) and willingly changes jewelry after a piercing heals at no additional cost other than the piece itself!

We should of looked at the reviews before walking into this shop. We had Ronin doing our tattoos. Hes a nice dude, but his prices do not make sense and he made some mistakes. He was trying to charge my nephew $100 for a very small tattoo on his wrist which I know is the minimum, but for the same sized tattoo he was originally trying to charge me $250 on top of me already paying $300 for another one I was getting. We were able to work with him to make the prices make a little more sense, but he had some mistakes in the work he did. My daughters name he put on my arm is slightly off center and does not match the straightness of my sons name on the opposite arm. There was also slight line work on our other tattoos that you can tell was not thought out or stenciled right. We did not really notice much while we were in the shop, as the lighting is very dim. We were also on vacation, and leaving the next day so even if he offered to fix anything we had to leave, but you should not expect that in a professional shop in Cali where tattoos really originated from. The final reasoning behind my 2 star rating for this shop is, the way we were told to start the tattoo healing process. We have many other tattoos, and normally you remove the wrap 24 hours after the work is done, use A&D ointment, and keep out of sun/water. Ronin told us to keep our tattoos wrapped for 3-4 days, and to use non scented lotion for a week or two after. We took ours off 3 days later, it was very painful and took off layers of the tattoo without the peeling process. Please do not tell your customers to do that anymore, even though you say you do that for your tattoos. The original way we were healing our tattoos was so much more effective, and even some of my older work is darker than the work just done, because of that instruction. Please take my criticism and improve, because our experience was not good.

I took my daughter to get her nose pierced for her 15th birthday and I also ended up getting a Medusa piercing as well. We felt very welcomed by the staff, from the guy who checked us in, the manager/owner, who double checked all the legalities, and then of course our piercer, Isaac. Isaac was AMAZING! Super friendly, professional, CLEAN as well as being very thorough with the location of our piercings and making sure they were just perfect! His friendliness and calm nature made our experience incredible!

Isaac is hands down the best piercer I’ve been to in San Diego. He never disappoints, keeps his station sanitary, is extremely kind, and is honest in his work. He will never let you walk out with a crooked piercing and if you ever need jewelry changes he’s always available! I have very sensitive skin and he always gets me the jewelry I need to avoid any sort of irritation or infections! He’s also super decently priced and will never overcharge you for a piercing! I came here to get my first piercing ever on my earlobes, and Isaac did a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable and safe. This is the 2nd time I was pierced by Isaac. I had two different piercings each visit. My original visit with him was to correct a Monroe piercing I had done by someone who claimed they knew what they were doing...Isaac took the time to hear what I wanted, what had happened and helped me decide the best placement for the piercing I wanted. My first session I had a Monroe & a dermal stop my cheekbone.Second session I had both my naval & the Monroe repierced. I came back because of the great experience I had the first time. This session there was an apprentice doing the naval piercing (which I agreed to) Isaac walked him through the process before hand and closely supervised the procedure. They did a great job! I am more then satisfied with my piercings and will recommend him and the shop to anyone looking for a top of the line experience.The follow up care is just as awesome as the initial session.👍💯
