Very pleased with our experience! Tom was extremely helpful and THE NICEST person we’ve ever dealt with at a mechanic. Most employees at mechanic shops are entitled and rude, but not Tom!! He was very nice and friendly. Management, Tom deserves a raise! We road tripped down to San Diego from Seattle when our rental car started throwing an Engine Maintenance Required code on the dash. They got us in quickly, fixed the issue and had us back on the road in no time. Thank you Firestone staff!!!
THESE PEALPE ARE RUDE,UNPROFESSIONAL AND DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE WITHOUT TAKING OWNERSHIP. WE SPOKE WITH CHLOE FIRST TIME EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHE DISCONNECTED CALLS AS SOON AS WE WERE EXPRESSING THE ISSUE. SHE ALSO CLAIMS THEY HAVE NO WAY TO PROVIDE COPIES OF RECEIPTS! ANTHONY ALSO AS A SUPERVISOR HE NOT ONLY WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL,DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE, BUT ALSO MADE AN ERROR ON OIR CLAIM WHICH HE DEMANDED RUDELY WE HAVE TO GO BY HIS TIME AMD HIS TERMS IF WE WANT HIM TO CORRECT HIS OWN ERROR!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARA TO THIS SHOP WE HAVE 3 CARS ANS WEVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY BUT WE REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE AND THE ASSOCIATES!!!We dropped off our vehicle for brake repairs it needed on 6/17/21 at this location. We picked up the car on 6/18/21. They failed to provide us with a copy of the inspection report, and only emailed us a copy of transaction receipt to show the amount of the transaction. We spend over $620 at this store. As soon as we left the store we had noticed a small crack on our windshield underneath the wiper blades, close to the hood area. We previously had no damages on our windshield. We contacted store 6/19/21 spoke with Anthony, he wanted to check the inspection report and call us back. We recieved a call back on 6/19/21 at 2:53pm from Anthony confirming the damages happened while our car was in their shop. He stated on the inspection report it was scratches and marks were checked only.. Anthony advised us he will be opening up a claim for the damages to be paid, and someone will call us on following Monday! Not only we didnt receive a call on Monday as we were told, we didnt receive a call even the next day! We called spoke with Anthony on Wednesday to follow up, he stated that he opened up incorrect claim, and we have to wait another day for him to correct his mistake! I found it incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful and I requested for him to escalate it, he simply replied as he wont be escalating it, and if we want our damages to be fixed, we need to wait until he fixes the claim! I also advised him that Ill be reporting this to their headquarters, and he simply said prior to hanging up that he wont be taking any responsibility. All calls are recorded by Firestone. We tried to obtain a copy of our inspection report on Wednesday 6/23/21 from the store. CHLOE one of their associates at front desk advised us that they are unable to provide a copy. At first a gentleman simply was willing to help us with providing a copy, however he was not able to find the inspection report, so he had to ask Chloe to help! Chloe grabbed our inspection report from the office! As we saw the inspection report to quickly at least take a picture from it, we saw someone altered our inspection report. The section that covers the damages as far as bodily or cracked windows, scratches &marks were checked however someone scratched the whole thing off without initial or details, and circled the cracked window. We simply provided pictures of it to their district manager, John H. Not only he refused to listen to the recordings or do more investigation by reviewing the camera footages. He simply replied not taking responsibility and saying the work wasnt even done near the windshield! So we are still awaiting for our 2nd email sent to this district manager to be responded as it makes no sense if there was a crackedwindow marked on the inspection report then why Anthony confirmed on 6/19/21 and opened up a claim? Also, how come a copy of inspection report wasnt provided to us as every other stores provide copies? 3. Why further investigation has not been placed to review recordings of the incidents? 4. What kind of a company trains their employees to hangup phones when their customer is complaint? We need for our damages to be paid in full.
These guys ripped my daughter off. All she needed was a plug in a tire for a nail and they claimed she needed all her tires replaced (they are about a year old) and further claimed she needed a new battery. Then claimed they had to at least replace the one. She decided to tow the car to another place and ask them to put the old tire back on. When the car came out it had a new tire on it and they claimed they couldnt find the old one. She paid for the tire. Totally railroaded by this outfit. Do not go there.
Good service except for the wait time, which Ive come to expect from all service centers.
Even though I couldn’t get my car running because the problem was with my rims (after market rims) they treated me very well. This is my 3rd time visiting this shop and I’m very pleased with the customer service experience and prices. 👍👍
I RETRACT MY 5 STAR RATING ON THIS PLACE! SHOULD BE ZERO STARS FOR THIS LOCATION!So thank God for Marvin K Brown Cadillac, DISCOUNT TIRE and another legit tire place who confirmed the loading capacity should be 114. BUYER BEWARE! WOULDNT TRUST THIS MGR OR STORE WITH MY SAFETY & LIFE! I FIND OUT THAT HE INSTALLED TIRES WITH THE WRONG LOADING CAPACITY/TIRE INDEX...FOR MY ESCALADE TIRES 2854522...THE LOADING CAPACITY/INDEX FOR SAFETY SHOULD BE 114 BUT HE INSTALLS TIRES WITH 110. I SPEND HALF THE DAY YESTERDAY ARGUING WITH THIS GUY TO MAKE IT RIGHT! AND STILL NO APOLOGY! STILL INSISTING HE DID THE RIGHT THING! WHAT A LIAR! THEN HES MAD AT ME BECAUSE WE ARE HAVING THIS CONVERSATION! WELL IF YOU DID YOUR JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME THIS WOULDNT BE HAPPENING! I TOLD HIM MAKE IT RIGHT OR GIVE ME A REFUND! LOOK JUST TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS RIGHT! DISHONESTY AND GREED DOESNT KEEP CUSTOMERS! AND YOU SURE AS HELL WONT KEEP THIS ONE!
Arrived prior to opening, which is 8AM on a Sunday in order to be first in line. Came to have tire patched because I had a flat due to a nail, and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. I could see my vehicle from where I was waiting and noticed that after pulling it into the car bay it sat untouched for over an hour and a half. Then they finally took the tire off, and another hour elapsed at that point. All in all a 15 minute job took almost 3 hours to complete. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
New tire in 25 minutes.I was driving down to interstate 8 to go to a work meeting when my passenger side tire popped. After getting it towed and getting a ride to Firestone, I showed up knowing for sure I wouldn’t make it to the meeting.Brandon was a great service rep. I enjoyed his cheery disposition and sense of humor, which are great qualities for a service rep to have (granted, this is during Covid, which could’ve meant a less stressful work environment, but still, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt). He went over tire options with me, and did not force me to get some crazy expensive tire. He made his suggestions and took my pick, which was the Firehawk AS BL.It single tire cost around $85, but with service charges and taxes the total was about $140, which I didn’t mind paying for how fast they took care of me.Here’s the punchline: they got me in and out in a record 25 minutes. They got my car a new tire that fast.So let it be known, that those kinds of times are indeed possible. Who would’ve thunk?I was smiling ear to ear at the sight of my car pulling up with a new tire in 25 minutes, and I got to the meeting 5 minutes late.I highly recommend this Firestone branch for their top quality service and for getting me in and out so quickly.
Excellent customer service and outstanding mechanical skilled service. Thank you
Drove into Fashion Valley to take my wife to Nordstroms of course. I noticed my rear tire was losing air so I stopped in to see if I could get it checked out. The place was not too busy. I asked to see what it would take and how long would it take to get this checked out. The guy behind the counter asked me a series of questions like how old my car was where did I purchase the tires, was it at another Firestone. He asked me about the other vehicles on my account which came up after I gave him my phone number. He even went out to the car turned it on and checked out the odometer! What pray tell does this have to do with one tire losing air? He told me that it would take around two hours and cost me $31 to get the tire repaired and if they could not safely fix it they would not put it back on. But that luckily they had a matching tire in inventory but it would cost me around $160 plus some other fees. Where is Discount Tires when you need them they do it all for free no questions asked. I said no. He did offer free air if I pulled up to one of the bays so I did, but no one seemed to care about helping me so I limped away with my low tire and called Triple A I had my spare switched out and went to PF Changs for a drink. It seems obvious to me that these guys behind the counter are salespeople with no thought or care for anyone else but their bottom line. Sad that they do not adopt better policies.
If you are in need of quick service for a tire, whether getting a flat fixed or purchasing a new one, this is definitely NOT the place to visit. I was told the wait to get a flat repaired was 90 minutes; my fault in not paying attention to the name.of.this place... Complete auto care. The inside of this place is reminiscent of a car dealership and I dont doubt that if you drive up in a Dodge Viper that they would try to sell you a muffler bearing.Anyway, I didnt have time to wait and my tire had run completely flat. So I asked one of the guys in one of their service bays if I could get some air and he was kind enough to stop what he was doing and kindly got me on my Merry way with some air.
Very pleasant experience. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The new tires were mounted balanced etc. in under an hour. They explained the work that was performed and suggested additional work not pressuring to be done immediately. Highly recommend this store.
Mike was great, I got great service and they were super supportive here.
Came in for a couple new tires after visiting another Firestone and they recommended it. Chose this location since this was closer to my days errands. Staff was professional and very friendly the waiting are was nice and comfy and theres wifi. The staff remained very professional even when an unruly customer came in and attempted to make a scene and then came back with her husband. As they started swearing the staff remained professional. They explain all your service needs and recommendations. Will definitely be back when I need more tires.
Fast service, fair prices
3 hours to get an oil change with an appointment. 1 person working the counter on a busy day. The lady working at the counter was great, but just couldnt keep up with customers and phone calls. I actually felt really bad for her. Hopefully this isnt how they normally run this place. Luckily the mall is right there so you can go eat or shop while youre getting a 3 hour oil change!
Told 90 minutes to change my passenger rear tire, said thats fine and left the vehicle at the shop. Came back 3 1/2 hours later and car has yet to be touched. Extremely annoying. Now being told an additional hour. Definitely didnt imagine waiting 5 hours to change a tire that I scheduled an appointment to do the day prior. Id hate to be a walk in and have to get something done. Ill give two stars because when I did have an oil change completed that was done roughly near the estimated completion time.I come to this location due to it being close to home but may need to expand my horizons elsewhere. Literally my only review given on something. Time is finite and theyve certainly wasted a good chunk of mine.
Arrived at 10am for oil change appointment. Was told 1.5 hours. 2.5 hours later finally get a call wanting to upsell me. Been waiting over 40 minutes for them to get my car off the lift. What’s the point of making an appointment?? Only one person on a Saturday. Give me my car!
Wasnt able to use this location as it does not offer a truly touchless service. Cancelled the appointment after finding out. The Firestone website advertises a touchless experience but thats only during drop off and pick up. Perhaps clarification is in order.
Really awful. Came in because my engine was dripping oil. They called an hour later and said there is a problem with the engine and they can’t do that. I asked if they could refer me to somewhere else and they offered nothing. They were more than happy to charge me $70 to tell me the same thing I told them when I brought the car in.Would not wish this on anyone. Be sure to avoid.
Better to call ahead and set up an appointment, I found it better not to rush the work.
Had an 11:30 appointment on a monday for an oil change, tire rotation, balance, and alignment. Was told car would be ready between 2 and 3 depending on how bad the alignment was. Came back at 2:45 and it was still sitting where I parked it. They gave me some bs excuse about running behind. If they had told me that when I came in or even called me i probably would have shrugged it off. Ended up needing new tires as well, which I didnt have time for given the circumstances, so it ended up being 4 hours for a 20 minute oil change. Unacceptable customer service.
I explained I had done my own brakes and rotors and my front caliper bleed bolts were seized, and therefore I could not flush my bad brake fluid. I asked for a quote to fix the issue (which involves replacing the calipers, then flushing the lines), and they said they cant recommend anything without their free safety inspection.2 hours of waiting, and I was told the inspection was done, everything looked good, and I was good to go. They didnt listen to anything I said. Further, my brakes were barely usable with an empty truck, theres no way I could tow with the amount of bad fluid and air in my system. I find it amazing that they could send anyone on their way (most people who are probably less knowledgeable about what good brakes feel like), with the dangerous brake lines I had. And I saw them test drive it, so how could anyone think that freshly done brakes feel that bad?Evans brakes on sports arena by home depot quoted me $100 less than Firestone, and took care of me as soon as i got there.
Ive been having my car serviced here for years. Reliable, honest and straightforward employees. Very busy shop so drop your car off early and expect to come back later to pick it up. I wouldnt trust my cars to anywhere else.
Great customer service and they are very friendly and treat you very friendly to you and your family and friends!!!
I was assisted by the service manager Brandon. He was very personable yet professional in handling my issue. In addition I overheard another employee discussing options with a customer who was confused with appointment scheduling over walking in. The employee exhausted various way to give the customer clarity with much patience. Over all I didnt expect the level of professionalism from the site, as I initially braced for the mechanic stereotype of talking around customers in an indifferent attitude, but I witnessed none of that. I was impressed.
Staff was very friendly but the wait time is unacceptable - they told me it would be 2 hours for an oil change, seemed long but I was a walk in. 2 hours later my car hadn’t gone in yet. Approached the counter and was told I was next in and would be on my way in 30, that was 45 minutes ago and I’m still waiting. VERY nice staff but be up front with me about how long my wait will be, going on nearly 3 hours for an oil change. Not sure I’ll be back. Was going to give 1 star but the guy was so nice. I can handle a 3 or 4 hour situation if necessary just keep me updated, respect my time and I’ll respect the situation.
Very honest shop. Took my car in for a rattle after the dealer couldnt find any thing wrong. Identified the heat shield as the culprit immediately, and actually recommended taking it in under warranty work rather than try to sell me on them doing it! How many shops will do that? I had them fix anyways as I trust them more for actually finding it, rather than the dealer that couldnt. Have done many oil changes through then as well and never had any pushy upsell attempts.Asked about tires during an oil change once and they said that I still had about 10k miles on the ones I had. Again how many shops these days will turn down an easy sale with integrity like that? Theyve earned all my car related business in the future because of it.As others have noted tho, they are very busy. Expect several hours to get most things done but for honest work the wait is worth it.
Exceptionally clean. Clean cut workers. Extremely nice. I took care of my 27 Nissan oil change. In actually half the time. Thanks guys Melissa Session.
Over 5 years Ive bought 3 life time alignment guarantees for 3 different cars. The 2nd. time I took my X5 in I was told it could not be aligned because the tie rod was rusted. It could be fixed for a bit over $1000. It was rusted and I took it to a small shop and had it repaired with genuine BMW parts and labor for $200. Today I took it in for an alignment, made an appointment, and after 3 hours was told the tires were not up to snuff. But I could buy new tires for $800 and they would get me on the road. Need work on your car? Is your time worth anything? Find another shop.
Their staff needs to be taught proper customer service. I spoke with a Mike who put me on hold for 30 minutes and never got back with me. I had to call back and got somebody to tell me what was wrong with my car. They never bothered to call me prior to let me know what the problem is. This is the worst repair service center I encountered. I get it that my car is broken but at least let me know whats going on. Car is still in their shop and that was from Sunday, today is tuesday so go figure!
I had a previous review that wasn’t very redeeming. Long story short the manager Brandon handled it professionally and resolved it satisfactorily. I’ve since been back and things have gone very smoothly.
Good place to take your car the employees are nice willing to help you
Great customer service! Informed me of all charges prior to services so no surprises here. Same day repairs for my vehicle! Highly recommend. Any questions they answered immediately.
3 hours for an oil change and a tire rotation with an appointment. Valvoline changes oil in 20 minutes. So 2 hours 40 to rotate tires? Will take my fleet vehicle elsewhere in the future. Nice staff though. Review changed now on 3/14/18. Post review- I will change this to 1 star. I noted for a few weeks prior to my visit that my passenger side front valve cover was missing on my vehicle. I noticed the day after I left Firestone it was now still missing on the rear of the vehicle. Meaning that they did rotate the tire, but didnt go the extra mile of giving me a 5 cent rubber valve stem cover. Lazy and slow. This place needs a manager to teach them customer service at this point. Ridiculous.
My Jeep is WORSE than it was a month and $3000 ago. AND it is being held hostage because Firestone did not pay the bill they agreed to on a computer that I did not need and is actually making my Jeep worse.I have a business and employees and have not been able to come into the office. Besides what I have paid out I cannot even estimate how much money I have lost dealing with this nightmare and not being able to see clients and employee’sSo if you would like to spend a ton of cash, loose your business because you can’t be there and have your car hijacked, by all means use these guys.BTW no call from Firestone today . You would think 1st thing in the morning they would have been on the phone trying to make this right and giving some sort of solution on how to make this nightmare better!
Came in for an alignment and a muti point check, they used my lug nut tool to remove my tires and never gave it back, now they dont know where it is. Not very helpful in solving that at all. On the multi point check I have green boxes indicating good for my coolant level (which was 1/4 inch below minimum) and in my oil (which was 3/4 quarts too full)Edit: got blames for the oil magically filling between leaving and getting to my house and the coolant being low. But I did get another (not mine) lug tool (curious whose it was and if they ever got one after Firestone took it)
Todays service was excellent up front! Able to walk to T&CO to drop off a bracelet 4 service too.Wait was approximate 20 minutes but comfortable in AC. Thankfully cause I had 2 lildogs in toe with today. Thanks Firestone, this may be the Best Location Ive had business at!
Mall discount code for employees ask for 10 percent off :D
My A/c in my 2014 was blowing warm air, I called made an appointment for 8:30am on Sunday, they didnt take my vehicle in until 9:45am, I was told that the system is good, I authorized for the mechanic to add freon. Within 2 days later, it was blowing warm air again, I took it back down there, and then was told that there is a hole in the system, by that time all of the freon has leaked out. I was told by the mechanics that only store manager can do refunds. I called and spoke to Brandon, and he absolutely denied that there was anything wrong with the system. And refused to refund the money for the freon. Not a good location to deal with, so do yourself a favor, go to somewhere else.
Scheduled an appointment for a tire rotation on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the crew was understaffed, and I ended up waiting a couple hours to get my car back; they made it right in the end. I was given a complimentary oil change for my inconvenience, which they normally charge ~$110 for (BMW e46).Thank you very much for valuing your customers and providing top-notch service.
Excellent customer service. Our experience with Firestone was exceptional. Our situation was a tricky one, however, Ricky really made our day and sent us back home safely.
I had been a loyal customer for 10 to 12 years but no longer. I first started seeing some mistakes made by the technicians. I had to return the next day twice for work that wasnt completed properly. Both times warning lights were triggered. The front end guys made up for it as they were friendly and accomodating. They now have new people up front and the service has deteriorated dramatically. I went to get four new tires on Saturday. One of the tires had a stem valve that wasnt properly sealed. As a result I had a flat tire the next day, which crushed the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor. They replaced it with an after market sensor which made it impossible to reset. The wanted me to drive around to other locations to try to get it reset. Needless to say that wasnt going to happen and other the other two Firestones shared that opinion. Long story short (I know, too late). It took me three days of running around to get it fixed. They could have resolved it once they realized their mistake by giving me a rental until it was fixed properly. That process took two additional days because they wanted to save a few extra bucks by putting on an after market sensor that couldnt be reset. So they lost a lifelong customer by not wanting to put in a $200 part, bad business practice. I guess thats why so many Firestones are closing. See Pacific Beach and Los Alamitos.
I came in for an oil change and was quoted 1 hour or wait time. It took 3 hours but they gave me a free oil change for my next visit. The customer service was friendly both times. Calling ahead to make an appointment is probably the best way to have a quick visit as this is a busy garage.
Went here because my company uses them for their fast oil changes and general maintenance of company cars. My own car was having problems, but Farzan and his team took great care of me and my car. The location is great too, because you can walk around Fashion Valley mall while they do their thing.
Very professional. Our electrical company uses them, and I use them for my person vehicle. Their protection plan for tires is fantastic, and they have proven to me that they do a better job than mom and pop shops. I am debating wether or not to go to Costco for tires because I really like Firestones protection plan.
2 hours to rebalance 2 tires with an appointment. Not unexpectedly, I got a shopping list of unnecessary maintenance. Also, I was told coolant was low when it was at maximum.
Made an appointment in person and was impressed with the customer service. Arrived for appointment today and was greeted by a sour-puss chick. She was rude, abrupt and a total hag. I called the closest Firestone and went there because her attitude was crap. Spectacular service (Kearny Mesa). Not sure how this person got hired to work with the public. What a b****.
Good, fair service. The bathrooms at this location need to be cleaned more often.
Always great service
As far as customer service goes the guys in there were so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, I definitely recommend going here.
Great service, they listened to my concerns and took time to look into them and assure me that they were addressed properly.
Made an appt. Still was made to wait 3 hours for service. They charge extra to balance and rotate tires. Sale Prices are higher than orher tire places. And quality of tires is questionable!! I will not be goung back.
Had a 9:00am apt to get a Brake Inspection, dropped my car off at 8:30 got a call at 11:00 (2 hours for a quote with an appointment is insane) which was $1,200 saying I NEEDed front and back brake pads/rotors, 4 tires, alignment, and brake fluid exchange. The lady who called me was extremely rude. However, the guys in the store were super nice and friendly. Told them that was outrageous, called around other places and found quotes insanely cheaper. Called Firestone back and asked them to put my car back together and they called me at 1:45 saying it was ready to pick up (for those who arent good at math thats nearly 3 hours to put my car back together), over 5 hours total my car was at their shop for NO work to be done. I then brought it to Midas where they quoted me only $393 for front AND back brake pad/rotors and brake fluid, my tires arent as bad as Firestone told me nor were the rear brakes. They had the quote done in 30 minutes and my car was out with the work done an hour and a half later. Do not recommend Firestone.
I was on a girls trip and when we got into San Diego on sat, I noticed the rotors were making a noice again, they had just been worked on 2 wks prior, luckily they were able to get us in on sun and repair them. I want to thank the guys for doing an excellent job and getting us back on the road safe again. This location will be my daughters new place to go from now on, thanks for your service
Told me on the phone and in person that they could install truck tires on my 1 ton truck with a service body after waiting for about 30 minutes in the parking lot the manager came out and told me they could not service my truck if you have a one ton truck go somewhere else
Do not bring you car here! Purchased 2 Firehawk Indy 500s from here (great tire would recommend). Will the guy who helped me was really helpful and a straight shooter; the girl however (didnt catch her name) was rude and tried to up-sell me on parts and service i didnt need.-Once i got my car back i had a terrible scraping noise come from the rear of the car that was not there before, got out to inspect; and the dust cover for the brake rotor was pushed up against the rotor, it makes a hell of a noise, This sort of thing doesnt happen randomly, i believe they caused this so i would require more work. SHADY place would not recommend.
THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS! Dont bring your vehicle here. They tried ro take advantage of my standed wife 1yr old son and 3yr old daughter. They quoted her $1200 to put a new radiator in our Toyota Sienna. They quoted her $510 for the radiator, alone!! 4hrs labor @ $150/h!!!! Needless to say we went elsewhere.Ace Radiator replaced the radiator and a vaccum line for $500 out the door!
Great customer service. Good prices. Toyo brand tires available
I stopped by for an oil change in my fleet van on a Tuesday afternoon. The guy at the counter said it would be 2.5 hours before they could get it in. So I made an appointment for Saturday morning at 8:30. On my time. Got there early. The guy at the counter says it will be 2.5 hours before they can get it in. Why did I make an appointment? I left. To me thats poor customer service.
They were professional and knowledgeable. Addressed the reason the car was brought in and found the fix for another concern we were certain would be more of a problem.
Service by deception. This Firestone is forging signatures and charging for services not requested.I usually go to the Firestone in La Mesa and they have been servicing my car for over 5 years with zero problems but I recently moved to the area and decided to come to this location and I regret it. I scheduled an appointment online and the services I requested were, tire rotation and other (a belt in my car sounded loose). I went in on Sunday at 2pm where William helped me. I explained to him that my car was making a noise during start up (the only true reason I was there). I also I have a lifetime warranty for tire rotation and figured why not. William went out to check the car’s mileage and when we came back I asked when my last oil change was on record. To my surprise I had only gone 900 miles in 3 months (it’s an older spare car but I want to keep it in the family). I was just curious. I then signed a piece of paper with nothing on it and was sent on my way without any paperwork which I thought was odd by I ignored it, I do admit that was my fault but I didn’t think anything of it. William then told me to check online for coupons which I thought was for the 10% off belt and 10% off courtesy check.2 hours had past as I wasted time inside the mall and I was worried that they hadn’t called yet especially since there might be work that needed to be done on the belt. William called at 5pm and told me my car was all done.???? I asked, “what was wrong with it?” his response, “what do you mean what’s wrong with it?” I said, the belt? And he said, “oh well you’d have to have a mechanic check that and that cost extra.” What the heck did I come in for?! He then told me everything else that was checked on my car, air filter, battery etc. and that the car was in okay condition. I told him to keep the car overnight so someone could figure out the noise since that was the reason why I made an appointment in the first place. He called me Monday morning around 10am and gave me the rundown about the belt and that it was in new condition and is no longer making the noise. I asked what we were looking at as far as price goes and he said $80. I thought that was odd considering that my rotation and courtesy check were free but I figured I’d go to pick up the car and find out what raised the price. I arrived and asked to see all the services that were done and a high mileage oil change was done. I NEVER SAID ANTHING ABOUT AN OIL CHANGE! I HAD ONLY GONE 900 MILES SINCE MY LAST CHANGE! I mentioned that and William became argumentative saying I requested it.If I did request an oil change why didn’t he mention it the 2 times he was on the phone with me in less than 24 hours? If I did request it, why did you as a mechanic see that I only had gone 900 miles since my last oil change and still do an oil change? If I did request an oil change why wasn’t I given proper documentation about it before I left the store? If I did request an oil change then why didn’t you ask me what type of oil I wanted??! Something is smelly fishy here!Brian showed me an invoice with my signature on it and when I got home and looked at the invoice, it says that I declined the alignment and approved an oil change. What the heck?! After closer examination, I saw that it wasn’t even my signature on the customer signature line. I write my name clearly and this was one giant scribble. Someone signed an invoice form with my information and car on it and it wasn’t me.AVOID THIS FIRESTONE LIKE THE PLAUGE, SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT! I plan to take this issue to the BBB and Firestone Corporate. I will also not visit this location.
We purchased tires and lifetime rotations for three of our cars at this Firestone location about a year ago, and we are already seeing the value. The sales reps are friendly and knowledgeable, and they reliably call customers with progress updates during lengthy appointments. It doesnt hurt that this Firestone is located in Fashion Valley, so you can shop, eat, or see a movie while you wait!
Peter was extremely helpful, and understanding that I did not want to spend an entire paycheck on tires.
Walked in and was done in 2 hrs at good $.
Worst place ever. The guys upfront cant even read, they gave us the wrong info. What they told us was wrong with the car didnt match with what the mechanica wrote on the paper. Also if you have an appt its useless to,make one, since you wont get serviced before people that just drop by
My favorite place to take my car. Great customer service, reasonably priced, and trustworthy
Needed four new tires and an oil change as well as a secondary tail light, these guys took care of me, and with extremely competitive pricing and warranties. Always coming here for my auto care needs.
Fantastic experience here while on vacation, the staff was extremely professional, and went out of their way to make sure we were back on the road as quickly as possible.
This has to be the absolute worst place to bring your car. Place will leave you on hold for over half hour and will destroy your car. Buyer beware.
Best customer service and a solid job on my vehicle. Sure, people complain about having to wait a long time, but if your car is broke, its not like theres a magic button to fix it. Why would we need mechanics then, right? Go in expecting it to take as long as it needs to, but you wont be disappointed in the services or pricing.
I love this place all employees there quite nice and polite and there is always coupon for oil change I for sure recommend everyone this firestone location
This place man, got some deals and they always hook it up. And they got some great lifetime deals as well check it out.
Liars. Managers don’t care about customers. Had steering rack done there and asked them if the repacked bushings as well because I knew they needed to be done. Was told that they do them. 4 months later I take it back and they tell me that the bushings are shot and quote me another 500.00.i was furious but the manager just made excuses. People do not have work done here it’s the McDonald’s of auto repair
Great customer service, been a regular customer since I bought my vehicle
Do not waste your time and money here. Dropped my truck off at 11am for new brake pads, they said it would be done at 3 or earlier it wasnt. At 630pm they said o just one more hour. They werent done until 850pm. Under staffed and unprofessional.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!For the last years weve been taking our cars to this Firestone and have always been treated with courtesy and kindness. Mostly dealt with Farzan and Brandon, probably others, but I dont remember their names - sorry guys. We used to own a Honda Accord and for some odd reason the check engine light just wouldnt turn off. At times the light would turn off, but then couple of days later it would come back on again...grrrr!! So after numerous times of checking the gas cap, re-setting the cars computer, the light just wouldnt go away! Made an appointment first thing in the morning. I did spend almost the entire day at here, but I wont complain because this place is located in the Fashion Valley Mall... a lil shopping wouldnt hurt while waiting for your car to get fixed. Anyways, to make a super long story short of more than just a one day in the shop type of a day, got a call and I was taken back to garage and showed what was up with my car. What these guys did was something Ive never seen before. All of the back part of the car was taken apart, no tires, no back seat, no nothing just the frame...or what to me seemed like the frame of the car. They said this was necessary because they had to smoke the car to see if it had any leaks. And yup they found a leak, a super tiny leak in some crazy looking tube thing that was coming from behind the wheel - something called EVAP leak?? I dont know..but this thing was something that I was told only the dealers could take care of and i was not planning on spending more than $1000 to try to fix this.Like I mentioned, this was a strange case that I had never experienced before and I did have to take my car in like every week and above all, the best part was that I was not charged at all for the work they did. These guys go above and beyond to help you out and they dont get all frustrated when a girl is asking all these but why this and that type of questions. Definitely give this place a 5 stars!
Poor customer service. Left vehicle for 4 hours with clear instructions to perform work. They called asking if we were sure we wanted the work done 4 hours later, now waiting for work to be done. Lifetime anything means youll be waiting a lifetime to get anything done.
Ive been here for the same problem 3 different times. For the love of God please do not take your car here. They cannot fix my problem. Long long waits and they just fool around. Had an appt. At 1pm and wasnt finished untill 830pm each time. My check engine light keeps commin on. My 4 year old can do exactly what there doing, and thats NOT A DAMN THING!!
As always they keep my vehicle in good order.
Went to get new tires, had a staggered set up wanted square tires, told them my size they charged me told me 430, 430 rolls around call them oh the car had a staggered setup we didn’t know what to do, why not call me, nope car will be ready around 7 end of the day after dropping it off at 2, btw mission valley traffic is horrible this time of year, thanks guys you could of called me but no why do that.
Good guys that dont try to push additional maintenance unless necessary
One person only working 4 guys in the back 2 1/2 hours for an oil change!!! Dont recomend
Great location, friendly service and fast!!
Terrible location, I asked for tires rotation and I noticed that it wasnt done plus 2 missing lug nuts . From what I know Firestone at different locations Ive been to before they always dont do what I asked them to do.
QUOTED $591.76 ... CHARGED $638 ..... ALL OF THE FREE MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION CAME OUT TO $147.00. FOR FUTURE SERVICES THAT THEY QUOTED ME, THEY ARE QUOTING ABOUT 500% HIGHER THAN A QUOTE I GOT JUST RECENTLY.I APPLIED FOR AND WAS APPROVED FOR A FIRESTONE CREDIT CARD. THAT CARD WILL NEVER GET USED AGAIN.
Ive always been satisfied with their services
Great tires and always a friendly staff.
Great hours of service, customer support, and technical work.
My car left worse than it came in.
The worst ever I have had service and they kept me holding for 2 hours for nothing and he told me to comeback after 1 hour
Took me in at two minutes till five! Out of there in only 1 1/2 hours!
Way too long a wait to replace one tire. 3 hours? With an appointment?
Great tire place for big rigs
Very expensive and dishonest auto service.
Ive given these guys so much of my money
Helped me when my car got towed to there to fix it. Friendly workers
Great service and quick turnaround.
Not ideal. Long waits and mediocre work for premium prices.
It took two hours to perform a 20 minute alignment! UGH!!!
