I was just shopping around to get pricing on vehicles. Everything was going good I had a great experience with gene. And the price I got was just above my budget so I told them I will think about it. That’s when Mustaq chaudry took over trying to give us a better pricing but still didn’t work out. I had an estimate paper for my vehicle trade in when I asked for it Mr. mustaq just threw it on the desk for me to pick up where he could’ve handed it to me. The disrespect! As of I wasted his time. Sir this is your job. I was willing to come back to take that deal but because of your attitude sir you lost a customer. However if I do consider this location in the future, gene will get my sale. Thank you Gene, with less experience you gave me a wonderful service.

4.66 Stars. The service was not perfect, but it was REALLY close. Not all MB dealers are built the same, nor do they adhere to the same standards, but MB of San Diego is a true mark of excellence and does indeed embody the brands sense of quality and professionalism. I say THIS is after some initial push-back, misunderstanding, and even ever so slight accidental chip in the paint (damage done to the vehicle while it was in their care). ALL of which are being made right as we speak; all of which are of minimal consequence in the grand scheme of things. Sergio Valdez, our service advisor, has been clear, honest, completely transparent and very responsive to every e-mail and communication I have had with him. He has gone out of his way to even answer distantly related automotive registration questions, as we are newly arrived to the State of California. I could not recommend him higher, nor the dealership better, in this regard... as you truly are treated with respect and sincere welcome and thanks at MB of SD. I only hope, when our lease terms are complete with this vehicle, we are treated with the same professionalism and courtesy by their sales staff and finance officers, as we will be looking forward to acquiring the new E-class (Motor Trends Car of the Year 2021) when the timing presents itself. Mercedes of San Diego is a terrible dealership. If you can avoid it, please do. I took my car there to have a fuel pump replaced. They held it for 5 days with zero updates. I contacted them to ask for an estimate, they had nothing. Said they couldn’t replicate the problem of the car not starting. I took the car back and it stopped again the next day. I got it back in there again and another week, they diagnosed it as a key issue. Quoted me $1k. I got another key, car died again. Independent mechanics said it’s a fuel pump issue. They suggested Mercedes is trying to avoid paying for the repairs because that is under extended warranty right now. Very disappointed in the whole experience, customer service and ethics of the dealership.

I’m not one to leave comments or reviews but honestly felt I had to ! Had the worst experience this pasa Saturday and this is not the first time my husband had warned me that this was not the best dealer to go to ! I don’t want to think that all Mercedes dealers are the same but by far the worst customer service from the moment we walked in to after trying to get pricing on a lease. Decided to leave and go to BMW to order an X7 and wow what a difference ! I’m leaving a 1 star but could leave none ! I know to drive a little further next time! Don’t want to add the agents name but zero customer service skills and even rude ! Lesson learn 👌 will never go back

Absolutely the worst service experience Ive ever had. Car went in for blind spot monitor error. Its been 2 weeks and I havent received any update on my car. And good luck with trying to talk to an advisor, they will put you on hold for 10 mins and then just hang up on u.

Quick, informative and thoroughUPDATED REVIEW: I have been back to the service department a few times, and spent quite a bit of money this past year. This last time, was absolutely horrendous. They treated me like they didn’t care, over quoted my repair, and made me feel bad for asking questions on a $5k repair. Their quote was 50% over what other places quoted. When they “washed” my car, it was still dirty. After pointing it out, the service advisor wasn’t helpful at all, shrugged his shoulders and went back to his office. Expected great since I had great service before, but It’s gone downhill fast. After complaining, their “remedy” was a 10% discount on service and a free car wash. Lost my business as a loyal customer. Won’t ever buy or get my vehicle serviced here again.

I usually write my comments and rate honestly with respect to business,Dear Mercedes-Benz USI write this email because I need to report some problems before I rate you on social media2 or 3 weeks ago I saw the pictures of one Mercedes 2014 GLK350 dark color on your website because of covid pondemy I try to buy that car on your website I did all things that to buy the car online, but because of the car isnt brand new, and trade with my Hyundai sonata, the website make  schedule on 2pm to meet on local Mercedes dealer on SAN Diego,  with the agent, when I reach there the agent told me the car is not ready to drive test but he told me we can do part of paper work and he will contact me by late day to pick up ( I don’t use the two agant I work with them because its not personal) he did not call me that day next day I called Mercedes-Benz san Diego, they told me the agent is not available by tomorrow but some one else ask me to meet him so he will help me when I meet him he was talking with another costumer so I seat there about one hour to talk with agent,  ( one hour)After that long time he told me the car is not available I didn’t even see the car I wanted to buy, I thought the already have my application on website because I offer 15 thousands dollars but the didn’t even see that, unfortunately because I needed SUV car I continued to make deal because I really trust Mercedes-Benz and I think buying car from Mercedes us will more confident and more trust, after 3 days after I sign all papers and trade my excerpt finally I could see the car with  very high interest rate I could see and drive the car unfortunately because I was too busy I couldn’t ask about one of the most important option for me about rear view camera to drive more safe right now I already trade my 2016 Hyundai with older car 2014 black Mercedes with no rear camera so I try to put this option to the car but I find this car has accident perivece on back door on license plate side I spend one thousand dollars to put rear camera but I was not success because the car has no option and has no interface to conect rear camera no carplay filming on windows which is very dark to see rear .no warranty and very high payments for old car .I don’t even talk about agent behavior when I talk to them .That’s itThank you for reading this.I send a copy of this emailMERCEDES-BENZ USAGoogle mapsYelpInstagramInternational Mercedes Benz

5 stars for my service advisor Gustavo Ponce! He was very transparent and personable with me during my 20k service. Unfortunately, my vehicle did have a few issues present that required attention; however, he always kept me in the loop with regard to repairs and the estimated timeframe for the parts to arrive. Jimmy Cao, the loaner car manager, was similarly accommodating and empathetic during an unfortunate situation with the loaner car I was provided. These two are the pinnacle of customer service and are the reason I will return to MBSD for service in the future.

An honest advice from someone that has 2 decades of costumer service experience and is very patient and friendly: If you want to buy a car (used or new) don’t go there! Most of the salesmen are very arrogant and don’t care even if you ask for help. An attitude that is out of this world. Someone needs to tell them to come down and act like a human, they behavior is like “I own this place and I don’t need to assist you.”And when you find a salesman then they really try to rip you off! Absolute insane!

I couldnt be happier with the service that was provided by Sergio V. From the second he introduced himself, he made sure that I knew exactly what was going to happen with my car. I dropped the car off way before the scheduled appointment time and he was very accommodating. He pulled me into the office right away, got all the paperwork settled and walked me to the front where he had an Uber drive me to work. Throughout the entire process, which lasted less than 20 minutes, Sergios customer service was magnificent. He is the main reason I am writing this review. He was straight forward, honest, and very efficient in the way he took care of all the paperwork work and everything in order to make it as easy as possible for me. When the car was finished he gave me two different calls because I had some special requests and he was more than willing to help. Definitely made me feel like I was his most important customer!! I will not be working with anyone else other than him when I need a service from now on. Peyton was the attendant who helped me when I first pulled in. He was also very helpful and made sure I had a VIP experience. Great work to both Peyton and Sergio!!

I got a punctured tire on Monday 08/09/2021 call the number to let the dealer know the situation. The person who answered the phone scheduled me at 5pm with Shea, she said they have the tire in stock and it will take him about an hour to get it replaced. I got there on time they checked all the tires but didnt find the punctured one so I took him and showed him. Shea took pictures and start the paperwork but then he said it wont be possible to replace it becuse I have the Wheel and Tire protection and it needs to be approved first and theres no one here to do that and we dont have a loaner available to you, but Ill give a call Tomorrow once I have the approval and you can come back and we will get it fixed/replace. Well long story short, its Friday and he still hasnt called me.Good thing theyre not the only dealer around I took it to MB EL Cajon and they got it replaced same day. The service rep honor 100% what the person on the phone told me. Nice team work.

He made the purchase process simple, and moved at my pace; answering any & every question.As I purchased a used vehicle, I wanted a few items corrected/added, so I scheduled a service visit shortly after purchase. That also was easy to set up, and my items completed quickly & correctly.Francisco, Mike and Marc are the gentleman in the service department that I dealt with. All three of these guys went above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was completed as I wished, keeping me up-to-date on the status, and also provided a beautiful loaner car in the meantime.My experience at this location has been nothing short of amazing. I bought a used suv from them. The salesman was very nice. But the mechanics must be not very good there. They delivered the vehicle with a horrible starting problem. Starts and shuts off. Sometimes takes 7 to 10 time for it to start and stay on. Has a shake in the steering when the brakes are applied. And there is a coolant leak. And Ive had the vehicle less than 2 weeks. I have tried to contact them to see if they will do anything but have heard nothing. Not happy with my vehicle at all. If a mechanic went over the vehicle these issues should have been caught. Or they ignored them.

I went there today. I met a guy hi told me he is Pakistan. At the end I said my comfortable price for monthly leasing of GLB is $420. he replied me it is impossible and never possible. And I asked him how about $420 for GLA, and he replied me with the same answer, telling me it is impossible and never possible. Well, and there is another guy standing next to us and listen to the conversation. He keep laughing next to us, like mocking us. When me and my wife leaving, both of them laughing and shaking their head. All I can do is use my whole life to tell all my Asian friend don’t buy cars from here.

I am posting this for my son, he does not have Gmail. He just returned from a 7 month deployment, USS Teddy Roosevelt, only to have his 16 CLA 45 AMG not start. Long story short he ended up at this dealership and the store manager hooked him up with Mike back in service and they were able to see my son right away and the manager thanked him for his service and gave him an insane discount on replacing his battery and installation! What a class act they are at this dealership! He will only go to this dealership as long as he is stationed in SD. Thank you for your outstanding customer service!

I have used this service department in the past and received mediocre to fair service. However I recently called to get a part number for my car and they refused to give me the part number. Only saying that they had it in stocks and I could pay 3x the amount I found online. Ive called many parts departments in the past and have never heard of them not giving out the part number. Really a sleazy attempt to get my money. Would not recommend buying parts from here if you can avoid it.

Here is a warning from my experience dealing with Mercedes. They will do nothing to help you when it comes to a defective Benz. Ive had my Benz for a little over two years and haven’t even driven 20k miles and I have to get a rotor changed, but they don’t just change one they have to change out both and quoted me a ridiculous amount of money for something that should not have happened. I received absolutely no help from the dealership or customer service. It’s unfortunate, but this will be the last time I purchase from Mercedes. If good customer service is something that you look for in a car service then don’t look to Mercedes. They don’t seem to care much for their customers.

We had such a horrible experience back in January where we paid for our car to get 2 new tires and an alignment. The previous advisor Josh only aligned the rear tires and when we tried to call we left numerous voicemails and he never returned our calls. He also entered the wrong vin# so when we tried to call to speak to another advisor for help they were unable to find our vehicle in the system. This time around we needed front new tires and we were a bit hesitant from our experience prior. Trudy helped us and she was able to find our previous transaction from when we got new rear tires (had to look at our bank statements for the exact date and amount) and she was able to locate it. She gave us a complementary alignment due to all the inconveniences. She was able to get our vehicle done the same day (it took Josh 3 days to get it done) and she answered all our questions and calls that day. She was very professional and timely. She gives advisors at Mercedes a different name. Thank you so so much Trudy! you have given us an amazing experience for the first time at this dealership!!!!! We will be requesting for you for any future services for our vehicle!!

Since not all MB service centers are created equally, as we have learnt on our many cross county road trips, we truly appreciate the quality and sincerity of MB of San Diego. Ask for Kari, the sales associate we was very fortunate to have from start to delivery of our new ride.Our new GLB250 is a solid modern stylish commuter. 7 passenger seating with generous legroom for driver and 2nd row seats; the 3rd row seat is perfect for children 55 and under. When 3rd row seat is down the rear cargo space is just as roomy as its GLC sibling. The 2.0L 220HP turbine 4 cylinder powerplant and dual clutch transmission compliments each other very well. Standard safety features on her base model is ample for our conservative leisurely driving habits. The state of the art MBUX information and entertainment system is supported by two 10.25 inch displays with 3 user friendly ways to view the driving, performance and entertainment via steering wheel controls, touch screen and center console controls. We opted for the no panoramic roof as I never ever saw her open the roof windows of the GLK350 she traded in for the GLB250. ☺Our MOJO is telling us... we have a need, a need not to speed 😛

FRANK was insanely knowledgeable, kind, and never pushy! I never imagined that I would actually enjoy my time at a car dealership, but I felt like I was hanging with my fav uncle! He was really patient with me, as I test drove a bunch of cars and asked a ton of Qs. Collette was really great in the financing department, too! I highly recommend heading to see Frank if you’re thinking of buying or leasing a Mercedes...he is top notch!

My father is a senior citizen and wanted me to come with him to negotiate and look at the GLC. He bought the car from salesmen Frank. That was last month. Everything went smoothly. Last week my father got a notice that his GLC needed software update. He got an appointment and came in today 6-2-21. They refused to say how long it would take and it seemed nobody knew who was doing the update on the software. They refused to give him a loaner because they had none left. They had a guy from the service area take him home then 6 1/2 hours later they got him an Uber to take him back to the dealership. Mind you my father just spent 58k on a car here no less then three weeks ago. He was a loyal Lexus owner and now misses them very much. This dealership is truely one star once you sign on the dotted line

After my diagnostic with Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel for my smart car EV, which told me that I needed a brand new battery for a quoted $32,000, they also falsely claimed that my battery had been illegally swapped out and was no longer under warranty. Luke Morgan of Mercedes-Benz San Diego stepped in and earned his nickname Skywalker. Not only did he go the extra mile to show that my battery was indeed the original, he also diagnosed the issue correctly, finding that faulty electrical wiring was the cause of my HV battery error. I ended up only having to pay $300 out of my pocket for the fix. I almost gave up my vehicle and sold it for parts because of the Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel diagnostic. If it wasnt for Luke and his team giving me a complementary diagnostic I probably wouldnt have gotten the second opinion. Now I have my car back running great. Mercedes-Benz of San Diego is surely the only dealership I would ever take my smart car EV. All Mercedes-Benz dealerships are not created equal and the team at Mercedes-Benz of San Diego proves it.

Best service department Ive worked with. Prompt with communications, transparent on quotes and provides options when applicable. Helpful and caring in the truest sense. Ross (my service advisor) is amazing. He recognized that I have an unhealthy attachment to my SLK and took the time to thoroughly explain the work being done. I trust this shop to do right by my car and me.
