If you are anything like me...Im one that will follow you anywhere for fresh baked cookies. Well Uncle Biffs is that kind of place. I went for the half dozen deal (buy six and get one free). It didnt require any arm twisting, for the server to sell me on that one. The trouble is trying to decide while salivating over the variety of options. And if I may be so bold as to make a recommendation...dont deny yourself of the most amazing Oatmeal Raisin cookie you will ever eat. Sorry Grandma.

Uncle Biff’s makes some dang great cookies! Some of the best in San Diego. They have around 15 types they make, maybe a few more. You can also buy dough from them. The cookies are a little pricey but definitely worth it. My favorites are the peanut butter chocolate chip, the double fudge, and the killer with nuts.I want to mention a recent experience I had at the store. I was unaware they had a five dollar minimum for credit/debit purchases, having always paid cash before. I was only purchasing two cookies and was a dollar short. When the clerk informed me of the minimum I was a little sad because I didn’t really want a third cookie. The clerk only charged me a total of five dollars though, instead of full price. I just thought that was very nice of her, and I think Biff’s has amazing customer service!

I had called at least 15 other cookies shops to find oatmeal raisin cookies - places were either sold out or did not make them. I called uncle Biffs which was a good 30min drive away but it was well worth it! The staff were so friendly, when I called and explained my situation they told me they would hold the 6 cookies i needed with my name on it. Not only were the staff so kind and friendly but the cookies were LITERALLY THE BEST EVER 😋 I tried the oatmeal chocolate chip and it was incredible! I will definitely be a regular customer here!

Fantastic cookies! The half dozen is a great deal to share between 2-3 people. The cookies are on the softer side and delicious. Our favorites are any of the ones with nuts. Staff are consistently friendly and welcoming!

Uncle Biffs California Killer Cookies was #154 on my bucket list. Id recommend adding them to yours as well and putting the Oreo Stuffed Cookie at the top of your list. I appreciated being able to use my own container to reduce waste and will definitely be back to try other cookies.

Good cookies, all pretty similar. From what I saw they have 3 base cookies:peanut butter, oatmeal, and standard (you know what I mean) then they have different things mixed in like chocolate, nuts, etc. This is fine because theyve nailed these styles of cookies, everything I got there was quite tasty. Especially the california killer cookie. But theres no short breads, no sugar cookies, nothing dipped in chocolate. If you want a classic tasty cookie check it out.

The dark chocolate peanut butter was good but kept falling apart on me.Oreo chocolate chip was not as good as I had hopped both by themselves is betterOatmeal chocolate chipWas probably my favorite wasnt too sweet and had the right texture. It was solid yet soft.Semi sweet chocolate chipJust like mom used to make is what I would say about this one. Except moms were always burnt, and this one was done to perfection.

It’s a shame, I think their cookies are decent but the customer service is absolutely terrible. I live less than a block from here, visited most recently on a Monday just before 3pm.The girl taking orders is consistently inconvenienced by you and is definitely not happy in the work she’s doing. The guy in the back making cookies who wears the baseball cap is an absolute jerk. He could really use a heavy dose of humility or a job that brings him joy. This man is miserable and was incredibly passive aggressive towards me and another customer today which prompted me to leave this review. It’s no wonder the cashier has the same bad attitude.Can I get some kindness with my cookies? Or is Uncle Biff’s above that? It should feel good supporting a family owned business but I’m very turned off in this case.

I love this place! The cookies are so good and never dry! When I pass it the smell makes me go in. I recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice little treat. Plus, it’s by a good ramen joint.

Beware when you order: We ordered cookies to be shipped to a friend in Indiana. Ordered the 2 dozen tin for $62.00 which is pricey but our friend loves the cookies from here. Without any indication of shipping I was charged additionally $60.50. I figured there would be a shipping cost but had no idea it would double. Needless to say that will be the last time we do this. I called hoping that it was just a mistake but it turns out it was not. Now Im just wondering if it is worth it to file a charge back for the additional charge since I was not notified.

Solid cookies! Delicious indeed, quite pricey for the size but worth to try.My only issue was the employees attitude, somewhat rude and acted like me asking for a warm cookie was crazy... Especially in a place that ONLY sells cookies I would expect them to be able to warm them up without crazy looks.

Expensive cookies, but so worth every penny!!! Giant, soft, fresh, variety of delicious, melt in your mouth, perfect soft dough, slice of heaven. This place even makes raisin cookies taste like heaven!! Ha!! A dozen cookies will set you back a little over $20, but they do offer day old cookies (still delicious) for a lower price, and they also give you the option to buy in a box or a paper bag for a small difference in price (get them bagged, its cheaper and they wont make it home anyways so the box is overkill). Parking can be chaotic depending on day/time of week you visit as parking spots are a little reduced. Easily accessed right off the freeway.

Was in the area and was craving something sweet. The cookies are basic, nothing special and very expensive.

They make the cookies fresh at the store (you can see the workers making the dough in the back). Their cookies are soft and flavorful. I love the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin flavors the best. I like that the cookies stay fresh for days so you can buy a bunch at once without worrying theyll go hard. Highly recommended if you are in the area. They even have their own free (tiny) parking lot; a rarity in Hillcrest.

Lots of cookie flavors from which to choose. At least $2 per cookie. Some cost more. Carryout boxes and decorative containers are available! Parking is horrible in the parking lot and in the surrounding area. Bring two people so one person can drive around the block while the other goes in and purchases the cookies.

These cookies are the falling apart, soft, with a little bit of crisp type cookies.. THE PERFECT COOKIES!! Thick dough and cookies right in front of you getting ready to be put in and pulled out the oven!!! A must. I got three cookies because its a $5 min for your card. But it was worth it! I got walnut semi sweet, White macadamian w/ coconut and a white chocolate cookie!!! I RECOMMEND ALL THREE! but if I had to choose which one is my favorite defiantly the WALNUT SEMI SWEET! second would be macadamian w coconut 💕

Seriously tasty cookies, with the Dark Chocolate/Walnut and White choc/Macadamia being my favorite and all others not far behind.These baked goodies deserve everyones attention and, short of making your own with choice ingredients, this must be one of the best commercially available cookies in SD.I have actually seen these guys mixing the dough and they use strictly top notch stuff - quality chocolate, good grade flour, Costco premium walnuts and, of course, massive amounts of butter.Also available is ready made cookie dough, that one can take home and bake when cravings occur.Try them, theyre worth the calories but opt for the just-out-the-oven ones - theyre even better!

These cookies are amazing! My favorite is the California. It has everything in it. I like the variety they have. Some have the option of with or without nuts which makes me happy because I hate walnuts in my cookies. Cookies are fresh and cooked perfect. They have a parking lot which is great for being in Hillcrest. They are a little pricey so I wont ever be buying a dozen but two or three is reasonably priced! Keep up the good baking Uncle Biff!

Heard about this place and heard it was the best. Wanted to do something special for the offices I work with so I asked my wife to stop in to get some cookies that I could share for the holidays. She was mistreated pretty bad, they told her they only take orders over the phone and that it was too busy this time of year. She asked if we could put an order in and come back and get them and they would not give her an answer,very short and extremely rude. my wife felt terrible and we are very dissapointed... I dont care how good the cookies are, you dont treat customers that way in any business. 1 girl at front desk and 1 guy making cookies were the ones... Made her feel very unwelcome and it felt like she was inconveniencing them. Maybe they are no longer the killer hole in the wall Bakery they once were, this arrogance is unacceptable.
