This place is ran by an old man that needs to retire he got upset that I parked in front. He started to say that I needed to move my car. The lot has many businesses and I went to visit the cell phone repair shop. He started to follow me and take pictures of my car. I told him if he was so upset about my car being their to call the tow company. He followed me and started to disrespect me in front of people.
Family and I are staying in Mission. Kids wanted donuts. Packed up and headed to Lucky’s. BEST donut I’ve ever had!
Just left this place and wow these donuts are amazing! Best in Pacific Beach hands-down.
I think Covid has slowed business b/c selection is way down. Also, I had a cream filled that was definitely past due freshness (had a sour milk flavor). Hope they can get back on track.
Unlucky donuts! How about YUCKY donuts? Donuts are a treat but not when they taste like disappointment. Tasted like they were fried in OLD oil. Should have gone for a breakfast burrito next door.
Lucky donuts is a real treat. I love their selection of traditional donuts, but really enjoy their alternative offers. Such as their fried apple burrito, it literally changed my life.My kids love the donuts with cereal toppings, and my wife loves the authentic Mexican pastries. Their breakfast sandwiches are good too.
Everyone at our table was enjoying everything. Service is consistently good. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.
Pretty standard donuts nothing special
Very kind employee. bread was amazing
Amazing donuts, often come here every other week to pick up a dozen
Food was so yummy. The service was very friendly and kind. The bill was decent for the quality. I can see why they have a lot of great reviews.
It is the WORST it made me sick and I was sad.
I love the guy that works there! Always friendly and always throws in an extra donut!
A little to expensive. 8 bucks for donuts
Owner of the place was really nice and prices are good. The baggle sandwiches we got were really good and everything in it was freshly made.
Our family has gotten donuts from Lucky Donuts 4 or more times. They are not the most amazing donuts... they tend to be either too dry or too greasy. But, we keep going back because the staff are friendly and its the best donut place in Pacific Beach.
The bacon rag and cheese croissants are the best I’ve ever had! The employees are so nice too!
Food was so fresh. Service is typically great. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.
Get there early, if you don’t want to settle for the reject donuts. No negotiating apple fritters for donuts if you want a dozen so you get stuck with lots of sprinkles. Next time I drive a little further
This place does it for me. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. This place has a cool design.
Shop is unassuming but hands down the best donuts I have ever tried. We tried regular glazed, chocolate with sprinkles, blueberry and maple.
Had the chocolate croissant and it was amazing. He warmed it up perfectly. Boyfriend had the cinnamon roll and he loved it. They had a great selection from donuts to authentic mexican pastries. Great to grab a pastry and hit the beach!
Good 🍩, live to give to local business
Says they open at 5 am. Was outside at 5:20 am and door is locked with no lights on. Guy in the back cooking saw me and just went behind the wall so I couldnt see him anymore.
Awesome light, fluffy donuts!! Apple fritters are amazing! Coconut glazed and lemon filled equally as good!
Ive had my fair share of donuts and these donuts are up there. I had the Bulvarian cream and it was delicious.
Great selection of donuts and Mexican sweet breads. The Apple fritter is to die for! There is seating inside or you can take your food to-go.
Just okay
Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. nothing but pleasant experiences here. bring your appetite because portions are large.
Simple. Simple and Simple. But, sort of good quality.
Delicious donuts!
One of the few early morning spots open in the area. Delicious Boston Cream donuts! Friendly staff
Great donuts. Been going here since I was 5 love it
Love their sugar donuts. Their coffee is Farmers, a local brand. The prices are average but they do bake and sell mexican bread along with a variety of donuts. They also make breakfast sandwiches using coissants and bagels, to include eggs, ham, bacon or sausage.Their open from 5am -2pm, Mon.-Sat. and Sun. 5am-12pm.
A little too greasy (fritters) for my taste. Doughnuts were OK but nothing amazing.
What a treat! An authentic Mexican pastry shop open from 5 am to noon daily. Hard to chose just one...
My fav donut spot in PB. The owners are also really friendly and awesome!
Great breakfast bagels, donuts and Mexican pan dulce. Also, milk and coffee.
Vacationed at Mission Beach. Kids wanted donuts. Found this little shop. Very friendly owners.
Love this place! They have a huge variety and have Mexican bread like conchas!!
Solid donuts
Delicious homemade donuts. Mom and Pop shop.
Really wanted some doughnuts for the office. Passed this place several times before, decided to give it a shot. Lady working has a horrible attitude, poor costumer service, just angry maybe because it was so early. Not sure, but made me decide not to buy the doughnuts.
Not much of a selection of donuts.
Greasy, delicious donuts. Awesome pricing
Arrived at five, it wasnt busy.
Great local place for donuts!
Just dont ask if bread its fresh, because the clerk will became Godzilla.
I appreciate that Lucky Donuts opens at 5am
Hot chocolate is pretty weak
Good, but overcharged with attitude
Worser than any place I could imagine.0 star
Apple burrito
The worst customer service. They are the slowest, period. Even online/called in orders. Not pleased.
Fresh, fluffy, soft donuts
The best!!!
Good coffee
Good donuts !!!
I have many times that the truth is, the lady is very rude to her clients, despises deciding never to go so they have a business but they know how to treat their clients
Good place for coffee and donuts
