Here was a friend’s suggestion. We went there on Sunday morning around 11 AM there was a long line but it was worth it. We ordered a Breakfast Sandwich 🥪 and a Breakfast 🥐 croissants plus two Donuts 🍩. It was the best donuts I have ever had in San Diego. Sandwiches were fresh and delicious!I saw in reviews some people were saying it is Cash only but they take cards.It will be my go-to breakfast place!

What stands out here is that the doughnuts taste very fresh. They taste better than Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts but not as good as Krispy Kreme. Had the chocolate sprinkle glazed and it was a plain yeast donut with a nice chocolate icing glaze and sprinkles. The old fashioned donut was quite mild and bready. The best one in my opinion is the plain glazed donut.

If you see a line out the door here, its for good reason! The line moves quickly anyway. I havent tried any of the lunch items, but the donuts are delicious and still taste fresh the next day. My favorite is the maple frosted cake donut. Its hard not to come every week!

During Our stay in San Diego we stopped and had Thai for dinner, After we walked out of the restaurant we also wanted something sweet and notice this doughnut spot. I ordered in Apple fritter my honey ordered a cream cheese croissant and a chocolate donut. All were fresh and very good. The apple fritter was very big. They also served ice cream and coffee.

Absolutely delicious 🤤 my husband randomly came home with donuts and got them very early in the morning (around 4/5am) he said this was the only place he found open near us and I’m so glad he stumbled across them. We will make this our go to spot for now on. The donuts are amazing!

These are hands down the best local donuts in Linda Vista! Been going to Rose Donuts for 15 years now and trust me they are delicious. The donuts are always fresh and well made plus their sandwiches and drinks are great as well. The people at Rose Donuts are like family now, we love visiting as often as we can!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I called today to preorder 9 dozen doughnuts for next Friday. I anticipated putting down a deposit for such a large order. The employee said that I would have to come in person to do the preorder. I explained that I am out of the area and wouldnt be able to come before Friday. I offered to fill out a credit card authorization form or process payment over the phone and she was zero percent interested in helping me. When I mentioned that my clients love the product and I would hate for them to loose the business, she said we dont care about your business. Naturally, I then asked to speak to a manager or the owner and she hung up on me. I am truly appalled at the lack of willingness to find a solution or direct me to someone who could. And wanted to make sure the leadership team at this establishment was made aware. I would really like to be contacted regarding this.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches served all day, and you can get one as a combo with a drink and regular donut or six donut holes. Had ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant, and it was both reasonably priced and huge! Also, the Google description says cash only, but they do take cards, with just a small surcharge of 0.50 per transaction.

These are probably some of my favorite donuts in San Diego. Plenty of options and really good flavor. They have coffee, juices, milk, etc. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing and really well priced. You definitely have to get the combo to add a coffee and donut for just over$1

If you go on weekends, there will be a line, but the donuts are worth it! I am not a regular, but I was there on a weekday while waiting for my dog to be seen at a nearby vet, and the employees knew their regulars and their orders! We love their donuts, and recommend the sprinkle donuts, maple bars, and jelly-filled donuts. Prices are reasonable and donuts are great!

Wow! Just wow! These doughnuts are fire! Probably the best in town. So good! Cake doughnuts are light and moist not the dry dense ones you find at most shops. They have a maple bacon that is to die for, sweet, salty not a bit porky highly recommend!

I struggle to understand why this place is only 4.5 stars! The place is clean, the Doughnuts are crazy delicious, friendly staff and coffee. My only issue would me that they dont have real cream. The line is out the door so make sure that you have time, but it does move fast. If I lived in this area I would go every day.

Im afraid I barely remember the visit. If I recall correctly, the staff was incredibly friendly. Im partial to crullers, which werent available at that moment; so, the cream-filled pastries were truly Rosey.

This was my go to spot whenever we visite San Diego. They even remembered our names after a year of not visiting! Delicious. Love the sunrise Bagel our absolute FAVORITE!

We found this place while on vacation. The breakfast sandwiches were amazing. The southern was so delicious and filling that we went back every day. The old fashion chocolate donut was very tasty as well. The coffee was great. Each time we went, we received impeccable service and their prices were reasonable to boot. I highly recommend.

Love coming to Roses! First off the donuts, sandwiches, and coffee as well as the pastries are phenomenal! when ordering a donut if you let it sit all day it doesnt get all gross like most donuts too if they keep their freshness very well. I dont think Ive ever had a donut or anything from roses I did not like at all. The prices are great! The staff is super friendly all the time. We are actually thinking about moving (trying to get closer to the beach) and one of our top picks to move to is to The neighborhood behind roses because we love being so close!

Donuts are fresh, sandwiches are great, and workers are always super sweet whatever time of day I stop by.Whenever I’m flying out of SAN, i stop here and grab a croissant sandwich for the flight. But it usually doesn’t make it because i end up eating it while waiting to board.

They have maple old fashions and nice customer service. Thats a double win in my book.

I dont get donuts very often, so I cant compare Rose Donuts to any other. It has been a long, long time since I have been to a Donut shop. Truth is I am not sure this should qualify as a donut shop because of the extended menu of sandwiches (breakfast and lunch), beverages and treats.However, I can say that I received very good service, it was clean, and the donuts (about $1 each for a dozen) were very good. There is a decent selection of donuts.Having driven by many times I have noticed that it is rare for Rose Donuts to be empty. This says something about their quality and prices as they are across the corner from a Starbucks, and they suffer from a small parking lot. I will need to stop in some time for lunch.Rose Donuts does not have a printed menu or a web page for a menu, but the lady behind the counter stated I was welcome to take photos. They are attached. I have shaky hands and must apologize for the poor quality. I hope they prove useful.

I went for breakfast and got some donuts and breakfast croissant and was very pleased in the quality of how the food was prepared and presented even though its a in and out breakfast place. Flight landed very very late. Couldnt find anything open on our way to lodging. This place was OPEN! AT 1 AM! We were hungry and thought wth. AMAZING DONUTS! We knew we found a gem.
