As soon as I walked in, I was greeted as if I was a regular, asked how my day was going, and a very enthusiastic What brings you in? How can I help you?You might think that I was the only person in the store, but no. There was a good amount of customers (3 to 4) and players at the table (6 to 8). With the store busy, Damians customer service was above and beyond.Im new to the hobby and Damians experience showed by answering all of my questions in regards of where to start and the many options to expand in the future.Ive been to the popular game stores in San Diego, Games Workshop has been the best game store experience Ive been: customer service, in-stock products, and a friendly community.Stop reading reviews, walk in and say hi!

They have Warhammer stuff but the guy wouldn’t let me just browse around and ended up calling some under cover cop. Wanted to get a lot of other things but left with only a few items, very awkward place from people who do models

If you are looking to get into the hobbie of collecting and painting Warhammer then there is no better place to start.It a one man store but the guy running it is really helpful, friendly, and never makes you feel dumb for asking questions.I have never had a better experience at any game/hobbie store ever!

While I have no problem with the store itself gamesworkshop has recently changed its copyright laws which dictate any and all fan animation or use of their IP is grounds for legal recourse. This is unacceptable for me and I shall be boycotting all gamesworkshop works. Until such time that gamesworkshop changes their draconian and harmful rules I will not buy the book, models, video games, apps or any product made by gamesworkshop. I love the games and I love the world they built but now that these fan animators have brought in new fans GW is pulling the rug out and are closing off the playground like a child. BOYCOTT GAMESWORKSHOP

While we didnt buy anything the gentleman there was exceptionally helpful. I would recommend calling ahead as the store is currently in store pickup. We will surely be back when it is more feasible to browse.... whenever that is.

Fantastic hobby store catering to all your needs. Specifically sells products geared towards the Games Workshop/Citadel brand, so do some research before browsing! Superb customer service and events.

Been coming to this store for several years now. Though time allows for less and less, but store seems to be doing better than ever. They carry just about everything there is for your Warhammer needs and Damian, the manager, as always courteous and formative and extremely knowledgeable about the product and I always see him with new people in the store teaching them about the hobby. Even with the Cove Edition limiting customers access into the store, hes still bright and chipper as always. A high recommendation for anyone looking for a hobby or fur a hobby for your kids to get into

I called and they informed me they had what I wanted in stock and held it for me. Everytime I come in here its great experience and wonderful customer service. Support your local GW!

Neat little shop carrying tons and tons of warhammer stuff along with a huge selection of paints! They carry exclusively warhammer minis and kits, so theres nothing else if youre looking for minis or accessories for your other table top games. Prices are standard and fair for warhammer things, so it is a bit premium.

Damian is a great guy with alot of knowledge on the game. Its always nice coming down to see what hes got. Just chose my army and Ill be coming back shortly to get more.

Damian has been super helpful since Ive jumped into the hobby just over a year ago. Helped with painting tips, army building, and just having fun with the hobby. The veteran player base has also always been helpful getting started and continuing to enjoy it. New hobbyists are always welcome and given a great start to the world of warhammer. Was proud to say this was the store where I started my journey into the table top game of Warhammer and Warhammer 40K.

Damian is the best. He has been gaming for longer than many of his customers have been alive, and he still brings incredible enthusiasm to everything he does. The store is a great place to start learning about Warhammer and 40k if you are new to the hobby, or to pick up some friendly games if you are a veteran. There are also regularly held leagues for those interested in an ongoing challenge. Those who are more into painting models than waging war will find plenty of guidance and ample supplies. What I like best about the store is that it is not full of tournament maniacs out to win at all costs - that kind of nonsense is actively discouraged by many of the regulars, because after all, these games are supposed to be FUN, rather than providing a forum for aging manchildren to work out the aggressions on innocent youth. Tournament doofs, stick with Game Empire and At Ease Games.
