I have absolutely loved them since their old location! All of the staff is so friendly and I had a great time visiting them at their new location a few weeks ago! Such a great place, I thank you all for your hard work at making this all an amazing experience for customers.

I love this place. The employees and regulars that frequent the shop are so welcoming and helpful that its my favorite local game store in town. They also try to actively promote a friendly Tabletop, DnD, and MTG community, whether new or experienced. The owner cares about his customers and is very open about how he does business, which I appreciate a lot!These are the things I cherish most, but it does have some caveats for those checking it out. Much larger than their previous location, but still a small store in an off the path part of town. Parking isnt ideal, but serviceable. Its very pet friendly, especially to dogs, so those with rough pet allergies be prepared.

We went to Warp Riders for a family miniatures painting session. Our family consisted of 8 people ranging in age from 7 to 73 and we all had an amazing time. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were great with our kids and the store is trying to do more activities for families and kids. They had a wide selection of miniatures to choose from and had all the colors of paint you can imagine available to us. They gave some painting guidance and let us loose to paint and enjoy our time at the store. It was a great experience for us all. I highly recommend this store.

Great store with a friendly staff, good prices, and player friendly environment. Magic, 40k, Sigmar, Infinity, D&D, Star Wars, board games, and more! And since the pandemic it is time for us to build those gaming communities back up and support our local game store!

As nice as the staff is, I hate to say that this is a game store I wont be returning to. My experiences there have been some of the most frustrating I can remember, which is really saying something given how low the bar was to start with. Ive repeatedly been given the runaround on orders that never showed, citing supply issues that seem to not be a problem anywhere else in town. The store is disorganized, has one of the most disgusting bathrooms Ive ever seen, and reeks of resin fumes from the unventilated print shop they have.Speaking of which, the owner is quick to hold you verbally hostage about the superiority of his resin prints (most of which are just blatantly skirting copyright infringement from Games Workshop, but not so quick about getting you your product if you order some. Ive had multiple orders arrive warped (is that the namesake of the store I wonder), defective, broken, or missing parts while paying well over what I would have expected in both dollars and patience.I would highly encourage you to avoid this place altogether, or keep your visit to just as long as you can hold your breath.

Just found my new friendly local game store. Larry greeted me quickly and made me feel like a regular immediately. Its clear he cares about the games as well as the hobby end of things. Honest and friendly service. Glad I found them. Also not one, but two very sweet shop dogs!!

Ready great selection of products. Awesome customer service. Its small, but jam packed with amazing miniatures and paint, books and accessories. Very happy to have found this place.

Great people, awesome figure capabilities. Its like a mad science lab in a dusty little corner of San Diego. My only sadness is in the dice collection, not that much going on there.But its absolutely worth it anyways, they can make anything.

Great store, great owner. If you need any 3d printed (they have a merchant license for almost everything) or even normal models like gw, crisis protocol, board games, ect, the staff is forthcoming on when new srock arrives and will help out in any way possible. Larry and his staff are incredibly friendly and they foster a fun gaming environment for the store.

These are some of the nicest people you will meet when it comes to helping you find new games or finding groups and a community to play games with. The people at Warp Rider are some of the nicest you ever meet and some of the friendliest when it comes to talking with games or playing games. I couldnt recommend a better place to go.

Had an excellent time. The 40k tables have great terrain, owner seems like a nice guy, and all of the other customers were very friendly.They also have a full paint rack. It is very hard to find a store that keeps thier paint this well stocked.If you are anywhere near this store, go. They earned my business within 5 minutes of walking in the door.

Unlike most hobbie shops where NECKbeards judge you for not knowing all the lore of Star Wars, this place is polite and chill.My check arrived late to pay for a commission, but they were very patient with me. Larry Dent is laid back yet runs the store professionally. Benjamin Cornelius is a BRILLIANT painter. He also knows how to communicate with you for specifics on your items.If youre looking for a chill place to meet fellow tabletop hobbyists, a place to purchase items without being manipulated, or to get your items painted, I HIGHLY recommend WarpRiderGames

Amazing staff and community, they always have time to help out with any question pertaining to the games in their store. Its my go to spot for Paints and Warhammer, especially their eBay page, it makes my life so easy.

Easily the best game store in San Diego county. Larry and the employees really go out of their way to make you feel at home and part of the community from the first minute. They don’t try to push sales, but instead clearly want to just chill and make friends. Of course if you want to buy, they know everything about the hobby. I really like all their used items, it helps me save money and stay in budget. Basically, the store has a clubhouse feel and has become a go-to when I need to de-stress.TLDR: Go to Warp Rider. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place for gaming. Whether its board games or tabletop games this place has it! Its always expanding so its always great to come back and see something new in the store.

They have A/C and it doesnt smell like nerds! :D Also, staff is super awesome, family owned and very knowledgeable about the various games. Huge amounts of second hand minis available, organized and bagged for sale. Definitely some gems
