For us Picasso doesnt even mean the painter anymore... if you dont understand this, order this sandwich next time. Rented a spot from 710 Vacation Rentals fairly close to Olive Tree. If Im close by, Im going in!

I used to live in OB and went to Olive Tree all the time, and this deli and South Beach fish tacos are the only reason I keep coming back since moving out of the neighborhood. The deli is great and the George Washington is my favorite sandwich in all of SD, but its worth going to the market just to check out the eclectic mix of goodies they carry. They have Julian Apple Pies! And Salsa Chileana (my favorite salsa) and a wonderful beer and wine selection. The staff is really friendly and some of them have been there for many many years.Pro tip: their sandwiches are really popular and the wait can be a while so I always call my order in ahead of time.

This is my favorite little corner shop ever. I live about two blocks away and I get worried if ever having to move because I would not want to move away from this store. The staff is unbelievably friendly. It’s truly like a small town store vibe- something you cannot get anywhere else! They have an amazing beer selection at all times. The rotisserie chickens are DELICIOUS (for such an amazing price)!!! The deli sandwiches are out of this world. I can go on and on. If I could give this place more than five stores, I would. Probably my favorite place in all of San Diego!!

Really cool little store. My sole purpose for going to Olive Tree was their craft beer selection. I had high expectations going in due to various things I read. Expectations were exceeded. Large selection of one-off beers and special releases. The guy at the counter was great. Managed to be friendly, knowledgeable, and attentative. All while giving me adequate space to ponder my selections. Ill be back next time around OB.

Great place to pick up dinner on your way home from the beach. They have a great variety of delicious foods to choose from.

A little expensive but they have a small basket with items marked at reduced prices. Easy place to get in and out of in Ocean Beach. $6.00 Rotisserie Chicken every day great for soups or tacos.

I bought a sandwich and a fruit salad from the Olive Tree Market, Ocean Beach to eat on my train journey to LA. The sandwich seemed fine and I assume was freshly made. However the fuit salad was cut and packed 5 days ago (10.31.19). Pieces of watermelon were mouldy and the strawberries were half rotten. Not acceptable! Check your stuff more carefully. I did send an email to the company and they responded promptly offering a refund.

This market is really convenient when im in OB and need a few things. They have a good array of items as well as a deli. The wine selection is decent as well. The people are super friendly and helpful lending to a pleasant shopping experience.

Great cuts of meat, baked chicken is awesome. I love looking through their wines and doing their little tasting room in the back. An OB staple!

Stopped in for wine and found ourselves enjoying delicious sandwiches and kombucha. We even grabbed a bag full of fresh produce! This place is full of yummy everything! Need a beer suggestion? Just ask. Friendly, clean, convenient... wish I could take this place home with me!

God help you if you look like you dont have any money or use any card to have them deduce that you are poor because they will not serve you I literally went in there and I got something for somebody who was scared about going in and they gave me their EBT card and I was paying cash the for my order I gathered up my things for me and my new friend went up to the counter of which I noticed just about the best death stare I have ever seen in my life outsidefrom a cheesy super villain cartoon character and they literally told me to my face I could not shop there and they will not accept my payment. if you want a small dose of racism in the ocean Beach area this is the grocery store for you! This is on top of them being ridiculously expensive.

This place is a classic deli with an awesome selection of food and drink and other basic goods... Bonus because there is a good beer selection and seating outside. The sandwich I got here was delicious. Down side is there is no public bathroom.

I love this place. They talk to me as if I live in the neighborhood. Very friendly. I eat there giant sandwiches on their patio. Their giant chocolate chip cookies are bigger than my hand and they do have lots of chocolate chips...... Once again I get treated like family at The Olive Tree Market. Something that happens more on the East coast or Midwest than in California.

This market is all time! A perfect example of what a little store can be when the owners put some pride in it. Awsome bottled beer selection and the sandwiches are really high quality. Top shelf breads and meats. Employees are always very very kind and helpful. Place is always clean and tidy.

I love this corner store. They have a great selection of meat, cheese, veggies & wine. Not to mention the last minute recipe items forgotten at the grocery store. Everyone is friendly and so helpful. They always joke with my husband (especially after his second or third visit picking up things halfway through cooking dinner). Super little market

Olive Tree is a fancy corner store. They carry many gourmet items, but its small and everything carries a convenience surcharge -- expect to pay 150-300% of normal grocery store prices. But if you just need a few items and youre nearby, this is a great place to visit. They carry quality wines, fresh produce, good cheese selection, Bread & Cie products, Julian pies, great sandwiches and prepared sides in the deli -- just about anything youd find in a full-sized grocery store except a bakery.Unlike most places in OB, they take credit cards and have a private lot for your convenience.

The best corner market in Ocean Beach. These folks make great hot and cold sandwiches. Beer and wine selection is outstanding for the size of the market. They also have a tasting room!

This is my go to for sandwiches or beer. They have a great deli counter. I always get the Charlies Choice and have never been disappointed. The beer selection is massive, you will never run out of options.

This place reminds me of the old town market places that you would see in the middle of no where but its small and the only one in town so it has EVERYTHING. They have an amazing Boars Head deli selection. Great liquor wine and beer selections and the beer is cold!

If wine is not your thing this corner store has the best selection of beer in all of Ocean Beach and Point Loma. I recommend the beer on the metal rack with a cork. Ask for Mike if you need assistance with finding something that matches your personal taste.In the fridge is a wide assortment of locally crafted beers chilled and ready to go.If youve never tried a Julian Apple Pie I strongly encourage you to do so. They are available at the counter and are seasonalky delivered from near by community Julian in the Laguna Mountains.Having guests over? Stop in for the tasty cheese and cracker selection. Or grab some of the best tortilla chips available in Ocean Beach. Be sure the grab some fresh salsa when you do.

Small, intimate tasting room in the back of Olive Tree Market..This is a great place for beer connoisseurs. I really enjoy the beer flights with portion sizes just right. This past weekend I tried Sahtea from Dogfish Brewery and since I have mostly been enjoying IPAs and Stouts lately this lightly sour wheat beer was a refreshing option. I would have never ordered that if it were not for the flight!Thanks Olive Tree! Love this place!

I love the Olive Tree. Although it is a little more expensive than going to a larger grocery store, the quality of the products alone is worth the price difference. They have an incredible selection of craft beers and the tasting room gives you a unique opportunity to sample beers and wines and is also a nice social alternative.

When I dont have time for anything else, Ill do a sandwich run for Lunch, the sandwich selection is pretty good, and you get what you pay for. My personal choice is a Manhattan with Avocado, and two bags of Zapps Crispy Crawtator chips.
