For now on, this is my woodworking store to go to. They have a wide selection to choose at really good prices. They pretty much have everything you need, top quality products. I dont know why I never knew about this store, they have everything I need to start on new woodworking projects.

These guys have a great selection of wood. The only issue I have is they are so far from Carlsbad.

Place is awesome. It is a little bit out of the way for me but my friends told me to take the trip and it was well worth it. The prices were very reasonable and the selection is amazing. This is the only place I go now to get my lumber.

Best domestic hardwood and exotic-wood supplier in San Diego. Period. Great selection and great prices. Very friendly staff. I almost dont want to give them a good review so I have them all to myself. They also carry tons of finishes, sand paper, and woodworking tools and bits.

An excellent resource for cabinet makers, wood workers, and finish Carpenters. They carry the full range of festool products, as well as many others. They have a great selection of hardwoods and plywoods, as well as prefabricated butcher block, and a good selection of corbels and other applique moldings. They also stock many paint grade crown, base, and case molding profiles. This is the place to go when you need something now.. you might pay a little more but if They have it in stock and it keeps you moving then its well worth it. If you have time to shop and special order something on line you might save a few bucks. Nevertheless, I prefer personalized service and being able to talk to someone who knows the products.

This place is geared toward pro carpenters and serious woodworkers. I am neither, but I found the staff friendly and helpful. They have an outstanding selection of woods, hardware, and tools. I bought a sheet of high quality plywood for a couple of bucks more than the big box stores charge for an inferior product.

Mu husband loves this place. Employees are very knowledgeable and they carry a large assortment of wood for all your woodworking needs.

Came in for a few scrap hardwood pieces for various craft projects, so I had no dimensions or wood types in mind. Came out with way more than I anticipated, but I was happy with the options from just the scrap bins and precut chunks! My next stop will probably be for some exotic veneers!

Excellent selection of quality hardwood, plywood, exotics, tools and finishes. I deducted 2 stars because of the confusing way hardwood is measured. I called to try and figure out the discrepancy and a rude customer service rep confusingly explained that they try to estimate what the original rough sawn lumber dimensions would have been to calculate the price. So a board that actually measures (real example) 89 x 6 x 1.75 will be calculated to be 89 x 6.5 x 2. So I purchased 6.5 board-feet of product from a board originally estimated to be 8.0 bf, but somehow my invoice says 8.3 bf. I never was able to resolve the 0.3 bf because the rep started to get agitated and wouldnt answer my questions anymore.

Great place to shop for my wood stain and spray finish guitar project...I was helped by a gentleman named Tom... knowledgable and very helpful in finding what I was looking for...this placed was highly recommended by a guitar shop in La Mesa...MOZE !

I live in Murrieta so I’ve always driven to Riverside because it was familiar. I decided to look around and found TH&H. This place is the Las Vegas of lumber - “If they don’t have it, you don’t need it!” The selection of lumber, veneers, tools, supplies, live edge and hardware is unbelievable. After several trips now my enjoyment at shopping here has only improved. I mostly work in quarter sawn white oak and walnut but their giant selection of wood is making me widen my horizons to other species. It’s more than worth my drive to come here.

Before walking in I asked if it was open to the public (wasnt sure because of all the work trucks in the parking lot) and one of the many guys behind the counter said, no, you should go back home...even though he made like it was a joke why do I believe thats what he truly meant. I gave it 3 stars for their good products and for an employee named Paul who was helpful. My experience with all the other employees was a one star. I guess because I was a mom with my kid I didnt count. Everyone should count this is America!

They have the most helpful staff. As a newbie in the furniture industry, this place was a breeze to get through and had staff available and willing to answer any and all my questions. I absolutely recommend this place.

Very clean and very organized. If you cant find it, ask one of the very helpful people behind the counter. I asked and ended up alittle over budget but thats only because I found more than just what I wanted. Awesome visit will be repated much to my pleasure and wife only giving me cash next time.

Im a total noob for the lumber they sell there. Im used to easy dimensional stuff from a big box store. Tom took the time to explain it for me and in 1 trip has gained my loyalty. Happy to go back to get all my supplies there.

Received thorough and friendly help from their staff. I purchased several baseboard moldings and they arrived in much better condition than ones I purchased at the box store. This is where I purchase materials for my remodeling projects now.

This place is a carpenters wet dream. They have such an amazing variety of products it can be a little daunting. Found some amazing aged pine and cedar that floored me.Perfect for not just contracting needs but also for that home enthusiast. They are very helpful and have a unbelievable selection of amazing hardware, lumber, specialty molding, power tools (Festitool rocks).The prices are decent as well and having the actual samples of stains and other products makes selecting the right stuff a breeze

Always enjoy shopping here. Good selection of woods, domestic and exotic, at really good prices, the staff is always friendly, and they have all kinds of tools, paints, stains, just a great spot.Although it can get a bit busy at times and you might need to wait a few minutes, be patient and courteous, and you should have a good experience.

Home Depot didnt what I was looking for. Found this place on line and was totally impressed with their selection of exotic woods. I must have spent all morning walking around the place. At the end I I bought something all together different than l went in for. Cant wait to go back and try other woods!

TH&H has a wide variety of trim, moulding, casement, and similar products. Staff was very friendly and helpful on our visit, and the free baseboard samples really helped make the right selection when we got them back to the house. They also have an unexpectedly good selection of raw wood slabs and reclaimed wood. TH&H is a worthwhile stop for all your wood work needs.

Awesome place, with awesome people. If you need 2ft from that 14ft board, they will help you out. Most lumber yards wont do such things.

Great inventory of hard wood. really everything you need in one spot. the only thing which I would give them the last star on is the cutting service. You drop 1k on wood the least they could do is do more than 2 cuts.

I have been doing business with Tom and his associates for over ten years. Their product knowledge, and experience have been a blessing. When ever I have a question, a difficult situation, or a problem they always take the time to help me find a solution.The store is filled with everything a wood worker or cabinet maker needs and if they dont stock it in, most cases, they can get it for you quicker than anyone else can.

The store also carries a lot of tools and hardware. Festool is available with a lot of instock supply. There is plenty of parking and its easy to find from the street.

Im very new to woodworking and have been shopping around for a place in San Diego with a quality tool and lumber selection.On my first visit, I was really floored by the variety of exotic wood available, but was completely ignored while I walked around for about 20 minutes and was acknowledged only as I was walking out the door.2nd time I came in was today (with my boyfriend who has little to no interest in woodworking) and he was greeted repeatedly and asked repeatedly if he needed any help.We were approached by Tom and when I explained that I was the one interested in woodworking, was very new at it and really liked the store - he looked as though he couldnt get away fast enough and we werent spoken to again.I ended up going to Rockler where I received great service, great information about tools and resources.Everyone who worked at Rockler was just genuinely welcoming and helpful.
