Lids is a great store. They are nice. I wish the app was a little better but having the fitted hats delivered to store is really a nice situation. I was able to exchange for a better size so that was nice. Thanks
I called LIDS in Fashion Valley and asked them to hold a hat for me. When I arrived at LIDS Iwas greeted by Talon and Gerren.They were really professional and informative.They hadMy hat and told me about customising it, I was unaware they did this service. Gerren & Talon both helped me with my order. I was very happy with the results of my hat & I enjoyed my experience at LIDS today. I just wanted to say thanks to talon & gerren both for their help. Nice staff. Was really helpful, and I tried too many on. Not pushy and didnt mind I tried on multiple multiple hats. Just walked out with a nice fitted SD MLB one . Not sure why others reviews said anything else bad. I recommend this location. Most Likely different staff, other reviews from long time ago.
Three guys behind the register and one other customer in a shop the size of a walk in closet but none of the three of them could be bothered with basic courtesy like hello or eye contact. Hat is nice though. Id suggest just going online.
I got the Google offer for $5.00 off a purchase of $30.00 or more and when my husband went to but our son a hat with the coupon, the clerk took the coupon ripped it up and threw it out and told them the coupon was expired. The coupon didnt expire until 8/30/2013. The clerk also, didnt like the team hat they were buying and made a comment about that. Do not recommend this store. Poor service.
I am a big lids fan and spend over a hundred dollars a month at lids mainly in California.I have never left a bad review for lids and have never had any issues at any of the stores I have been to.I have been to this store at least 4 times and every time come back I ask my self why, why did I come back?On my last visit I stood in the counter area for over 10 minutes and was not acknowledged by any of the 3 people behind the counter.(Its not like they couldnt see me, if you been here before you know its a small store.)When I finally got one of the employees attention he told me to wait, I did 5 minutes later I was asked to wait again and in the nearly 23 minutes I was in here several people got helped before me but came in long after me.I am not disappointed because this store has NOT been the friendliest of all the ones I visited.I will still shop at lids because I am a loyal customer, to bad the customer service is not goodat this location.Come and visit and see for your self.

Called ahead to see if there would be basketball apparel available. Frank (frankie) was professional and courteous. Even though there are no clothes available at this location he offered I contact a Lids locker room at another location closer to me. Thank you!

I was informed the hats arrived and were ready to picked up in the Fashion Valley Store, when I arrived, only two of the hats were there. I was promised they would be shipped to my home. They never arrived. I called today, a full month later to check on the status and the manager, Allen at the Fashion Valley store was rude, and said he would check the mail today and if they didnt arrive today, we could discuss a refund. He was condescending, interrupted, and raised his voice. It is ridiculous to have someone with this attitude in customer service.When I told him, I highly doubted that if the hats didnt arrive after three weeks, that it was unlikely, they would arrive today, he interrupted again and said he would call.He didnt seem to listen or save the time and patience to understand or solve the problem. I will shop somewhere else in the future.

I was taking pictures of some of the hats and conversing with my sister thru text over which one would be a good birthday gift for her husband. One of the employees (white, skinny, with glasses and tattoos) was really rude and aggressive when telling me that it was company policy to not take any pictures. So I challenged him on it and asked for proof. He said he was too busy to just have it laying around. What? Thats an illogical explanation but whatever. Its one thing to tell someone politely and another to act as though I had some plan to go home and stitch a replica together. If this is a real policy, which I have a hard time believing, then NEWS FLASH! Theres a website with all of the pictures on it!

Today, Sunday January 4th my dad visited the Lids store in Fashion Valley (my mother and myself went about our own way)...not even 5 minutes later my dad caught up to us. When I asked him if he found the hat he wanted and was looking for his response was NO, THE EMPLOYEE WAS RUDE AND I DONT KNOW WHAT HE WAS THINKING. HE SAID IF I WANTED TO SEE SOMETHING I NEEDED TO ASK HIM FOR IT, I WASNT ALLOWED TO GET IT MYSELF. HE LOOKED AT ME AS IF I WAS GONNA STEAL SOMETHING AND MADE ME FEEL HARASSED (mind you, we had just gotten out of church, so my dad was not dressed like any thug or anything, hes a respectable 54 year old man. Just because hes mexican doesnt mean hes going to steal anything. Trust me, we will never go there again! I am disappointed, disgusted and upset about the way my dad was treated

I was welcomed nicely and well advised immediately. The price / performance ratio is good. And the waiting time is not a problem, since you have to roam the mall.
