We rented a couple of boards here for a couple hours and had a ton of fun! Nice rental boards for affordable prices, Id definitely visit again next time I want to surf in PB.

Best place to rent wetsuits/surfboards. Prices are great and it’s super close to great surfing on Pacific Beach. Owners are fantastic and outgoing.

This little surf shop is bitchin’! Lots of ‘80-90’s retro clothing labels…. Not really a board shop (they had a few and some soft tops), but for wetsuits, board shorts, all other surf accessories…. This place is legit (and Benny and Amy who run the place are 🔥🤙🏼).

Great variety of products and good value. Locally owned by Benny and Amy who couldnt be nicer people. I reccomend this store for all of your beach and surf needs. Good clothing options too!

They were really helpful and awesome here. When you go into some surf shops they either dont care if you get something or make you feel like a total kook - Mikey was super pumped for us and gave a great deal. Highly recommend.

Rented a wetsuit here yesterday for my cousin who was visiting from out of town. They had free 30 minute parking for customers (super convenient in PB) and the customer service was fantastic. Wetsuit was nice and would definitely rent from here again.Lots of wetsuits for girls/guys and they also sell Rainbow sandals. :)

Awesome experience. The shop is super cool, and the business manager was even better! He got us a great deal for rental suits and boogie boards for multiple days. Great quality gear and service! Definitely going back again every year when we come to San Diego.

Stopped by with the hope of purchasing a surfboard that was no longer able to be rented out. Had the pleasure of meeting Ron, a super friendly, knowledgeable guy. Ron set me up with a board at an extremely fair price. Ill definitely be back to this shop again.

Benny was awesome, sets us up with everything we needed and more, very welcoming when we walked in, kids had a blast with the surfing . Surf board rentals very reasonable, definitely coming back when I get a chance, thanks again.

Ron and Melody are just Absolute Angels... I have had such great experiences with these people and just enjoy going over there just to visit... Stop on by by some goodies for him theyre great people... If youre in disturbing they rent surfboards wetsuits the whole nine yards theyre super easy going just head on over there!

I was happy to have come with my boyfriend, the Berkeley Apple Genius, to see the town he grew up in and the cool places that he went to, MISSION SURF WAS ONE OF THEM! So he bought me a pair of shoes as a souvenir to remember my trip to San Diego. But when they didnt fit right, we had to come back to try and fetch the right size but...we lost the receipt.But Mission Surf was able to find a way to help us out! We were so grateful to have had such awesome service! Would definitely recommend this place to just about anyone who loves California and genuine customer service. Was walking along the street while I was on vacation and stopped in just to check things out. Hadnt been in a surf shop since I was 18 and joined the military. I ended up spending 5 dollars on Mr. Zoggs Sex Wax air freshener...didnt even know that company was still in business..the owners were amazing...they struck up a conversation with me about a hat I was wearing and treated me like I had just spent a grand in their shop. Amazing experience.

Thank you for the excellent service! This is the Tops among the San Diego bike rentals shops. It is a great place to get bike rentals especially if you are looking for a shop near Pacific Beach. The staff is great, very nice and helpful. The rates are really good and the bikes top of the line. They also have bikes for sale. So what I would suggest is renting a bike to check it out and then if you like it buy that model. I prefer Mission Surf as my number one choice for among San Diego bike shops.PS: They also have a great selection of sunglasses and surf apparel. Mahalo!

The owner Ron is so laid back and nice! We had an amazing time chatting with him! The surf was great and we also had a phenomenal time with skateboarding by the waterfront on a crazy carver and cruising longboard. He also runs a solid air bnb. Super comfortable! It made our trip amazing!!

These guys and gals are total pros. I have rented SUP boards from places that dont ask many questions and dont know what the proper board is for you. These folks are different. They listen to you and know which gear will fit you properly and what will make the the experience on the water fun. If you have the wrong board for your needs, its either a very short day or a long frustrating one. Get your stoke on with Mission Surf

They didnt have side torpedoes for my SUP, and Spinner claims he rides for them, otherwise cool shop.

Purchased first board here so has sentimental value. Include this place and craigslist when youre searching for boards.
