I shop here on the reg over the years for hats, readup on their website the c19 requirements, arrived, cash in hand, only to findout,they no longer accept cash. This should be called the NWO hat shop, i bet the PPPloan they got is why they dont need cash anylonger, put a sign on the door n note it on the website, as you know, just finding parking is a nightmare,total inconvenience

Helpful staff, interested in what I wanted and able to point me in the right direction. Their website highlights expensive hats but they have much more affordable inventory in the store. Well worth an in-person visit!

I lost my favorite hat recently (old, not made anymore), and didn’t want to go into stores because of covid, even if it meant ordering a hat without trying it on. A google search led me to their website. Based on the pictures and sizing info, i ordered a similar hat, and it was exactly what I was looking and it fit perfectly. Shipping was fast, and a very good price. Highly recommended.

Been to the shop and bought hats and also ordered online. Fortunately I never head to return a order bc of any issue.This time I ordered a hat which was way too big.( have a hat of the same brand which is a size smaller but shows the same size as the ordered one. You would think within a brand sizing would match.But the part which enjoyed me the most was that I had to $ 14 for the return shipping. Its 2021 and usually the business which sells should offer a return label and shouldnt have the customer pay for it.

Not so helpful and patient employees. Id rather go a few extra miles and see Reuben at the other store.

I love hats other than ball caps. Whether you are on a $50 budget or $200, the Village Hat Shop will have something for you. Various styles for men and women. A smaller selection for kids, but mainly due to the styles they carry.

Great selection, help was not so helpful though all where nice. We did end up purchasing something we found on are own. Great parking and prices where good, reasonable.

Wow never seen so many hats in one place. The employees need to concentrate on one customer at a time. We found the Fedora but it still was too big. It took 45 minutes for an employee to recommend a Sizer. Finally bought the Fedora and we love it. Thank you Village Hats for a Happy Customer

There is a handful of hat shops I frequent, this one is my favorite. The shop has a wide variety and high-quality merchandise, you can even hit-and-run with a Paperboy for $25. bucks. After I get my new hat I almost always go around the corner to Georges Golden Dragon for a $7.00 takeout of duck, rice, fortune cookies, chopsticks and tea, withGolden Dragon treat in hand I slowly walk around town (savoring the food) looking for obscure and interesting shops and businesses.

Ordered a hemlock hat for my wife for our anniversary, the hat came 2 days early but was damaged. I contacted village hat shop and they sent a new hat after I explained the condition of the first hat with pictures. Much mahalo for helping me get a mint condition hat with minimal stress

I’ve been a customer since the mid 90s, when I wanted a top hat like Fred Astaire and a fedora like Michael Jackson. A decade ago, I bought a version of Steve Martin’s hat from L.A. Story. Recently, I came in for a Baileys of Hollywood hat made popular by Bruno Mars. Their expertise in store has made shopping magical for over 20 years, and online will never surpass the experience of being in a real San Diego landmark.

This is a fun little shop to browse new hats. They have a large variety of hats you wont find anywhere else. They separate the hats by manufacture. You need to look around for your particular style. The staff is extremely helpful. If your are looking for a discount or bargain, they have a location off the 5 freeway near the airport and before Old Town. Plot your directions on Maps carefully, it took me a couple goes to find it. It has a smaller selection but the price are much cheaper. The selection is mainly discontinued items and flawed materials. It is still worth a look for the bargains!

My Bailey Smit Tweed Ivy Cap arrived yesterday. Fast delivery for ground shipping. That alone was impressive. I liked the hat so much that I ordered two more hats this evening. What impressed me about their website was the fact I didnt have to remember any discount code. The offer for the day appeared on the left hand side of the screen and the discount was automatically applied. Far cry from other websites that can take several minutes before you find and then apply any discounts.Im hopeful the next two caps are of the same quality.

Come here for your next hat! Any and every style you can think of. Top brands and wide variety of colors and sizes. I price checked against the internet and they came in the same as lowest in most cases. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also offer free fitting on hats bought in store (stretching and sizing down for in between fits). I highly recommend the Village Hat Shop to any hat conosuer.

It has been a Cornerstone in Seaport Village for over 30 years. It is a shame that that location has to go away. The other spot is a good store and the employees are quite helpful.

The manager is extremely competent and knows what hes doing in sizing and Shaping, blocking hats. I dont know that I would trust secondary employees with my Stetsons.
