I liked the shop, can’t complain. I wanted to get a quick bite, so I kept it simple and had the roast beef sandwich. Nothing fancy, which is a good thing. It was pretty straightforward. The people were nice. Good vibes all around. The only downfall is that the airplanes are loud as heck.

I have traveled high and low for the best açaí bowls and no other place beats Newport Quik Stop Liquor! My family has been traveling here from Arizona for many years just to get these açaí bowls. It’s a must anytime we are in SD. The açaí bowls are big, good priced and always full of fruit. $6 for a 16oz and $8 for a 32oz.

Best liquor store in San Diego! They cook all day every day. Breakfast is even served all day. They have a great selection of not only liquor and beer, but delicious food as well. Ive never eaten anything here that wasnt super yummy. Oh! Id also say they have the best acai bowls in San Diego hands down.The staff is great. They are very friendly and welcoming.Ive been going here for over 7 years and can not believe I have not written a review for them. Keep up the great work!

Worst and most greasy breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Huge chunks of bacon fat and cold tater tots. Save yourself the bathroom trips and go somewhere else.

This place is absolutely amazing. On Tuesdays they have $1.25 fish tacos that are incredible! They also have $1.25 Adobada tacos on Thursdays! Lastly, the fact that its right on Newport in OB means the scenery and the vibes are super on point.

Most underrated food spot in OB. Everything from tacos to acai bowls to sandwiches and breakfast! Ive been eating here for a few years and have tried most of the items on the menu. Theres not a single bad thing and its all reasonably priced!

This company is not helping or encouraging our transition towards global sustainability and reducing our single-use plastic consumption. They should have absolutely no problem completing an order and then dumping the contents into a customers reusable container.We are in a global pollution crisis and need to start encouraging customers to bring in their reusable containers not discouraged this ecological friendly alternative.

When I walked in, most of the customers were not wearing face masks. This was disturbing, but I stuck around anyway. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. It was the best one Ive ever had.

The owner isnt friendly, nor is his sidekick. The man who helps set up in the morning is the only one who is people friendly. They changed their menu and isnt like it was. The cook is personable always with a smile.

Great place for inexpensive prepared foods. Homeless kids buy tacos here on Tues and Thurs, so you know the value is good.

We ordered two turkey sandwiches which were very good however the owner came out to tell us that next time we needed to sit on the sidewalk area because we spilled some water on the floor which was on the outside patio! We felt it was rude since we just spent $20 on lunch ..very unfriendly & not good business... we will not be returning there .

The employees/leadership/owner? Have all been really excellent any time I stop by. They are friendly and attentive to their customers. This place also offers a surprising amount of food options like sandwiches, acai bowls, and tacos. All of which are good to very good. It looks and is a quik stop/ liquor store. So I came in assuming and expecting what most liquor stores have and was pleased to say they least. They are also one of the few places I know that has acai bowls past 8pm in San Diego. Definitely worth a stop if nearby or you got a craving a little later at night. Have been a few times and will continue to drop by every so often. Cheers.

Ok so Ocean Beach has an abundance of liquor stores (and bars) that offer a great selection at competitive prices, the only thing that separates one from another is how their guests are treated and the quick stops are the tip of the spear. Im loyal and only because I feel appreciated. im greeted by name and asked about my life outside of just being a patron. These fine gentlemen always accommodate and make customer service their number one priority. Fine work guys. Youve set the standard. And the foods pretty darn good too.

Ive bought acai bowls here for years. Theyre pretty good. But I gave OB Smoothie another try this weekend, and I have to say, their acai bowls blow these ones out of the water- Less refined sweeteners, fresher fruit, larger. We did a head to head test, and discovered we liked OB Smoothie much better. This place is still nice- friendly people. They do make their food much quicker than OB Smoothie. I think we might have waited 4 minutes for our Acai bowls here vs 10 minutes at OB Smoothie. But for the taste, Id walk a little farther down towards the ocean and hit up OB Smoothie.

Food is very old thats been sitting there for a long time and been reheated many times. I felt sick after eating there the first time. They probably dont eat their own food.
