The workers are real nice and the owner is super cool Ill always buy my liquor from there store.

The people are nice and helpful. The store is well stocked.

This liquor store is open daily. Good place to pick up easy items.Atm . Some of the cashiers only talk on the phone and dont consider the customer an asset.

The owner is great, always on time. Knows his products very well. Some of the other employees however, arrive late to open and are inattentive to their jobs. 3 stars for a few lousy fungible employees

Friendly people working the just is a bad area.

I live in the City Heights area. When I moved into my building, when I asked the other tenants where to go in reference to a store, everyone said Discount Liquor. From the .55 cent sodas, to the fun AND FUNNY staff its always a pleasure going there. What makes it even more special is that if there is a soda or food item they dont carry and I ask them to get it, they have ALWAYS came through and gotten that product.From lottery, liquors, cigs and food to money orders, keys made and dog friendly staff, thats what keeps me going EVERYDAY and multiple times on other days.To all those people who say its a bad area...i have been going to this store by an alley behind my complex for over a year now. Light, dark, morning, noon or night; I have never had any problems with anyone. I am from Ohio and moving here, I have not seen anything to be alarmed about or even worry about. Yes I have heard the stories from 10 years ago but its not a bad area anymore.So if you are in the area or live in the neighborhood, stop by and get all you need in a store, not to mention, fun and friendly staff!!

Go here a lot. You can get cheaper elsewhere but it is convenient and staff are friendly.

Excellent service

Tried to buy a lighter (Im 20) and he refused because Im under the legal age. I informed him that the new law only applies to tobacco products and as lighters are not made with tobacco I am old enough to buy them (Ive done my research). He still refused so I went to 711 across the street and purchased a lighter just fine. At least I know to keep away from this business
