This is a great place to find gemstones and other unique gifts you wont find in traditional souvenir shops. The prices are better than other nearby rock shops. The staff is very knowledgeable.

DONT SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE! What an amazing store with the most incredible crystals at really affordable prices. I just returned home with 2 carry on bags filled with fabulous crystals. Chris is wonderful, so helpful, attentive, personable and he really does care about customers and service delivery. He took my shopping experience to the next level by helping me with a spectacular quartz piece. Melinda is lovely too. We went to a few other crystal stores in San Diego and none of them had the selection or the reasonable prices that these folks have. Be sure to go into the small room behind the cash desk if you are looking for something special. I thought it was the office but thats where I found my sensational quartz piece. Huge thanks to Chris and the team! This is a must see store on your San Diego shopping list so dont shop anywhere else!

I had such a magic and mystical time in this store. The young gentleman at the front counter clearly had a magnificent amount of knowledge about the stones. His delightful humor accompanied with his female associates positive and upbeat personality truly tied a beautiful bow on my entire experience. The amount of quality stones I got for the price allowed me to truly feel Over the Moon!!

I was walking down old town and saw a little sign for this shop, followed in and WOW! absolutely fell In love and was helped out by the two wonderful owners. Such beautiful energy inside this gem, highly recommended.

Very cute jewelry! But they are very badly made - both of my pins fell off my jacket despite being well secured (one is now lost forever), & two of my rings snapped within a week of purchasing! The jewelry here is quite pricey - I dont recommend buying unless they come with some sort of warranty.

They have a very wide selection of rough and polished stones, trinkets, and handmade jewelry and crafts, all at surprisingly low prices. Its a little hard to find, as it is tucked away in the back of the small plaza, but I would say it is well worth the trip. They even offer free little cards detailing all of the stone types with your purchase. This will be my first choice if Im ever in the market to buy polished stones again.

Amazing variety one of my go to shops and i live all the way in Palomar Chula Vista it’s worth the trolley ride. This shop is a hidden gem in Old Town San Diego. Dave, the manager/owner was so wonderful and answered any questions I had. The whole shop is a vibe. They have a wide variety of crystals and at such reasonable prices. I will definitely be back :)

Great prices and a huge variety of stones and gems. Many of the displays tell you the properties of the stones so you can pick something to bring the right energy into your life. The huge decorative amethyst mesmerized me and I now have a life goal to own one. Check this place out!

Absolutely amazing!!! Im from Florida and have traveled from Arizona through Utah to LA this trip checking out many crystal and metaphysical stores along the way, this store has the best quality, variety and prices than dang near all of em. They also have wholesale so you can get a big bag of individual types of stones!!!! So worth it Im driving back down (2 hrs) to spend more time in the shoppe and get more for family and friends on the east coast who want some!!! The guys at the counter were super friendly and knowledgeable as well!

The coolest store ever !! It has such a good vibe and the employees are so nice omg :) I drove 2 hours just to come here and it was so worth it I will be coming back the prices were very affordable with most crystals being from 1-4 dollars each everything was very reasonably priced! Definitely come here if you have the opportunity

Pretty decent price, at least for San Diego and incredible selection. I often think, I should call before I go to make sure they have it, but then I dont and they have never failed me.

Picked up a few beauties from here. I was impressed with the verity of unique crystals and stones. Ive been to other crystal shops but usually everything was so generic. Not this store, they had so many options and rare finds. The prices were very affordable and great customer service. They helped me find exactly what i was looking for. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!I had a very bad experience at another gem shop- the one in the tourist-y part of Old Town and will not be named- and luckily I found this place instead!The prices are cheap, but everything is high quality. Store is located near a very crowded restaurant, but the inside is surprisingly peaceful and soothing. I spent at least an hour looking at the gems. In the end, for less than I expected, I was able to acquire a pendulum and a few raw crystals. Good selection of jewelry and shaped crystals.

I thought the qualities of the crystals and stones were great. The customer service of the owners son, was terrible. Whilst shopping for crystals, I inquired the clerk about seeing the options they had for opal necklaces. He immediately said that they were too expensive. I asked him how much they retailed and he said the cost was around $150. I was shocked that this associate was quick to assume I could not afford to purchase this jewelry. I asked for a full refund. It’s unbelievable to know they would treat their customers who are purchasing a whole bunch of crystals this way. Great qualities of the stones, but customer service is biased and terrible.

Dave and staff have created a special crystal place right here in San Diego. The crystal selection is huge, the prices are low, and the customer service is top notch. I get almost all my crystals from this store (except specialty items) and have never been disappointed.

All I can say about this place is WOW! i’m so happy to have found this hidden gem(no pun intended)! i’ve been to countless crystal shops across the country, and this place is definitely number one by far! i’ve been collecting for years, and felt like I really hit the jackpot in this store. The variety is amazing for both raw and tumbled stones, and the prices cannot be beat!! And not only is the variety fantastic, but even the selection for each stone as far as shape, size, tumbled, raw, clusters is very large. The owner is also really cool, and showed me more of a specific stone he had in the back that I had been looking for for as long as ai can remember. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Whenever I return to San Diego, i’m definitely going to make sure to return to this place! Thank you South American Imports!!

Found this place through a Google search when visiting San Diego and was absolutely thrilled with the selection and service we found there! Tucked away in charming Old Town, its now on my list of musts for a trip to San Diego. Pricing and quality are hard to beat. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

An unbelievable selection of fine stones at great prices. As a Reikipractioner, I found a wonderful assortment of pendants, pendulums & healing stones.

Huge selection of Semi- precious stones of all shapes and sizes for decor or craft/ jewelry making purposes. they also had other items (sage, palo santo incense, sandalwood) crystal pyramids, pendulums. Anything you may need for a chakra, or reiki healing session using stones and crystals... was very impressed with their Geodes. I purchased a beautiful lava stone bracelet with 7 chakra stones at an amazing price!trying desperately to find a store like this on the east coast.

The crystals have such positive energies that you can feel it when you walk in the door. This place really does ROCK!! haha
