Such a great shop! Definitely a good place for locally sourced souvenirs!Wide variety from small polished stones to large rough pieces, at good prices!!!! Many shops are over priced and over rated but this shop is great! Jackie helped me and was really nice and informative! There are sooooooo many different pieces you just want to sit and delve into the shelves and boxes and baskets of beautiful rocks for hours!Definitely coming back with friends!

Stumbled upon this place. Saw a suspicious looking young woman standing outside a curious store across the street. Me being me went to go investigate. Well, her name is Jane and the owner of this amazing store. Each time I pop in, Jane always has one of whatever I was looking for and didn’t know where it came from.So Cave of Wonders on Ray St in San Diego is the spot for some amazing energy, unique finds … Also Erik is equally as humble and grateful as Jane. Really great up until the point they bait and switch a little kid. Really unfortunate because my boys were really digging it. If you are going to tell a price, honor it. Its a simple concept.

Shoebox sized shop but with a lot of nice finds. Not a super wide selection but there are still neat pieces. Call to see if there is something specific youre looking for, like moldavite (since its popular and rare)

WOW!!! The Cave of Wonders is truly magical. Jackie and Alise are boyh wonderful, knowledgeable and very helpful when helping select the right sparkle. The store is full of gems, stones, energy, vitality, love, magical and happinness. I personally purchased 3 x bumblebee tower necklaces; 1 for each one of my brothers and one for myself. Alise curated a bag of prenatal stones intended for our birth and son, Telias Alba.The mens braecelets are really cool. The magenetized, tiger eyer men bracelet I purchased today is not coming off this wrist. 😀 super good looks amd feels right.We will keep coming back for sure.Anyone looking for a MAGICAL time needs to take a trip to this Cave Of Wonders. If you like stones, jewelry, incense...etc.Lots of interesting things to look at. They also have an old school Pac-Man arcade machine...great if you have a child you need to keep busy while you browse. Jackie was very helpful, patient & provided great customer service. Definitely plan on returning and highly recommend.

You can say Ive been through this place a few times to pick up some snazzy rocks and gifts. Great selection of stones and crystals, theyre real knowledgeable, and if you ask nice theyll look for special items in the back. If you see something there, buy it... it wont be there when you return. They must have a steady fan base that comes in. Oh and sometimes they give gift bags!

Darling little crystal shop with gorgeous loose stones, jewelry, and other metaphysical supplies. Big items like crystal balls and little pocket stones. 10/10. Also the owner/shopkeep is super sweet, knowledgeable, and seems genuinely to care about their customers experiences and interests.

I walked in to buy Lapiz Lazuli. Left with a whole bunch of other gemstones. Had an exquisite conversation with everyone there, including the wonderful and wise owner. The most magical shop Ive ever been in, The Cave of Wonders was opened by a true gem and graduate gemologist Scotty. Theres quite the collection and reasonable prices. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable they also have books and charts you can look at and you cant forget about their original pacman machine thats always on free play!

Staff incredibly knowledgable and fun to talk to. While it is small, it is packed with so many great items to discover. Jewelry, gems, water wands, kaleidoscopes, and even turtle poop. The prices seem competitively priced with other places selling gemstones in the area. Be aware the parking right in front is paid, but if you drive around the corner, there is free street parking.

I had a great time at shopping at Cave of Wonders.They always have two people to help you with. Very friendly place to shop. Their is a Healer one see as well. She is good.I found that they had a large variety of stones. Also their ceilings have the Chakras on them.They have a lot of books as well about it.

Came all the way from Chicago . Bought a Fossilized Squid tentacle, I also bought tigers eye and black tourmaline . Patrick with the great customer service and they have a little candy dispenser that has crystals in them best 25 cents I’ve ever spent.

Everyone is so nice here. They have a great selection at reasonable prices. Scotty is super knowledgeable and eager to share this knowledge. I love this store. It is great for kids too. Scotty will give them a mini lesson and they have gumball machines with rocks instead of gumballs! So cool!!
